Wasn’t too hard to apply and didn’t smudge but not long after it began to crack and come off.

Eyes -e.l.f. -Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder

This powder is THE BOMB!!!
It’s silky to the touch, finally Milled,
The light-diffusing property give a GORGEOUS BRIGHT EYE LOOK.
Set concealer beautifully, doesn’t crease, look cakey or feels drying like others translucent powder I’ve tried.✨
It have a soft pinkie hue, but it doesn’t alter the color of the concealer what so ever.
One lippie off - because the jar is teeny tiny & can be quite messy.
I wise elf would come out with full size jar because the quality is like high-end powder nonetheless.

Liquid -e.l.f. -Flawless Finish Foundation

I’m happy to report that I love this foundation. I wanted to try it several times before reviewing, so I used this then tried a couple of my other faves just to be sure. This provides great coverage (I apply a second coat on my nose which tends to be red unfortunately), makes my skin feel silky and does a decent job keeping oil at bay (I use NYX pore filler as a primer and set it with e.l.f. Soft Luminance loose powder). I apply with e.l.f. small stipple brush or FLOWER beauty’s beauty blender. Couldn’t be more pleased with the results!

Eyeliner -e.l.f. -Studio Precision Liquid Eyeliner

I was looking for a fine tip liner. This is not fine tip.
It's very runny. Takes about 7 minutes to dry. That's a long time when you are in a hurry. Once dry, it looks cracked and flaky.
When its wet you can try to smudge it, but it just went everywhere. This one is going to end up in my "halloween" box. It will be great for drawing cat whiskers on my cheeks.

Liquid -e.l.f. -Cosmetics Beautifully Bare Foundation Serum SPF 25

foto

I like E.L.F products. They are a great drugstore brand with a high end feel to them. This serum foundation gives you a sheer, buildable coverage that does not feel heavy on your skin. When I want to wear a liquid foundation and not have the full coverage look, this is my go to foundation.

It's thin and runny so I have to put it on my beauty blender and then apply it to my face but it blends out very easily and nicely. I like a dewy look so I don't set it with a lot of powder, just setting spray.

Bronzers -e.l.f. -Bronzer Palette

on 3/8/2018 1:54:00 AM

foto

I have found my holy grail bronzer!

For my fair skin this quad is a true gem (surprising since the contour quad paled in comparison and was rather chalky) The colours blend seamlessly, and are mostly matte (except for the one shade with VERY subtle Shimmer) I love applying to lightest matte shade all over for warmth, the second darkest for a SUBTLE contour around my temples, cheekbones, and jaw, and the darkest contour concentrated down the sides of the nose, and in the hollows of the cheeks. I then use the golden shade with a little shimmer almost as a "Blush" to give me a gorgeous, sun-kissed glow.

Many bronzers appear too orange, too muddy, and are patchy, or hard to blend. This quad requires very little effort to achieve a flawless finish that looks very natural.

That being said I have fair skin so I think any negative reviews would be based on the fact that this might not show up on deeper skin tones...in which case the blush/bronzer duo (with a darker bronzer) Might be a more suitable option.

Treatments (Eye) -e.l.f. -e.l.f. Illuminating Eye Cream

Oh e.l.f. You try to get into the higher end stuff...

I bought this with a big e.l.f. haul and hoped it would be nice. I did finish it up and it didn't cause any reaction on my skin which is pretty decent enough but it was just ok. I certainly wouldn't get it again at that price tag, and prefer L'oreal eye creams in the same range. I hardly notice anything from eye creams to be totally honest, but this really was just...moisturizer. Nothing special. I didn't have stinging but I also didn't notice less darkness or illumination. E.l.f. has some ok products but overall I find them meh. They're trying to get more into these niches with this line and the sport line but overall I just stick to them for brushes and the under eye primer.

Concealers -e.l.f. -Corrective Concealer Pallete

foto

I'm scared to write this cuz if I *really* like something, it gets discontinued. I *love* this! This is no kidding my HG of correctors. They're semi sheer and easily blendable. U can intensify the coverage w the included brush which also is bomb! The pinky shade is a million times better than Becca...it does all the stuff Becca's claim but actually does it...luminizes, corrects, etc. This is a stunning incredible corrector palette. I think it's super cheap too--I don't know cuz I was just buying some random ELF stuff to try and I never look at price cuz it's all so cheap. I don't need or want any of my other corrector pallets including Morphe cuz this works so much better. They better not discontinue it now that I said how much I love it cuz I'll lose my mind!haha Def get it and stock up if i can, b4 everyone catches on to how great it is! Just as an FYI, I review stuff that works w my very fair skin...I don't know that this is deep enough for darker skin tones. You may need to check their web to see if there's a darker version...it's great for very fair and light skin tones but I'd be disappointed if ELF didn't have a version for darker skin.

Highlighters -e.l.f. -Cosmetics Baked Highlighter

foto

I don't get the hype. I have Apricot Glow.

I scraped the top layer off, and it's still mediocre. I have to really dig my brush in to pick up any product. And there is noticeable, quite chunky glitter. The glitter ends up accentuating texture more than other highlighters I use.

Additionally, when I used it on my eyes, it creased so much more than other highlighters.

I much prefer the Wet n Wild highlight - cheap, soft texture, easy to pick up with a brush, can go from subtle to blinding. The elf one can be built up, but ends up accentuating texture way too much for it to be flattering.

But if you only use a little, it can be a nice natural highlight, if you ignore the larger specks of glitter.

Overall, wouldn't recommend.

Eye Shadow -e.l.f. -Baked Eyeshadow-ALL

foto

For reference: nc30 warm and yellow, brown almond eyes

I picked this up years ago at my local Target. I don’t think it was no more than $3.00.

This color is gorgeous!! It’s purple with pink reflects in it. Very pretty and such a unique shade. I swipe this across my eyelids with an orangy (crease color) and it becomes a quick light smoky eyes.

You can intensify the shade with a wet brush but I use this over a Nars eyeshadow primer.

Definitely would repurchase and check out the other colors!

Eye Primer -e.l.f. -Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer

I am on the fence with this one. It does work but sometimes it doesn’t. I think it all depends on what kind of eye makeup you have on. For the price you pay, the quantity is fine but it is very hard to get the product out of the little applicator. I wouldn’t recommend this to people with oily eyelids.

Tinted Moisturizer -e.l.f. -Natural Glow Lotion

on 3/3/2018 10:01:00 PM

This has no tint but there was nowhere to squeeze it other than this category. It is luminous and looks great under mineral makeup. It is a bit moisturizing but not much. It works better for oily skin, especially during winter.

Eyeliner -e.l.f. -Mineral Eyeliner

Look at the negative reviews here! Well, this is not the best eyeliner but if you are thigth lining and have very sensitive eyes, you will appreciate this. I wear this before under my NYX liquid liner. It is not easy for me to work with liquid liner so this helps. I don’t think it is the worse liner because it is very creamy. The problem with creamy liners though is that they fade easily.

Moisturizers -e.l.f. -Daily Hydration Moisturizer

What a find this was for me! I have large pores and recently had been getting weird red splotches on my face. I tried e.l.f. Daily Hydration Moisturizer one night (not expecting much because it is so inexpensive) and the next morning all the redness was gone from my face! Then as I began using it both in the morning and in the evening I noticed my pores have become non-existent! Seriously, I thought nothing would make that happen! It actually IS a miracle lotion to make my pores go away...and for $8? Please, stop complaining about the price, good night, have you priced a department store moisturizer lately? I am waiting for this stuff to be discovered by everyone! Oh, and my husband loves the light fragrance and comments on it every night. :)

Misc Beauty Tools -e.l.f. -Studio Makeup Mist & Set Spray

Good but horrible mister. I pored it over in an empty bottle from another brand which has a better mister. The product itself works to prolong the wear time of your make up. It does not make your face look more dewy or more natural. I use another product for that ( Make Up Revolution Ultra Pro Glow) and then finish with the Elf one. After you have used the product rinse the mister with water so there wont be any product residue clogging up the mister for next use.
