This product was my first foray into pressed finishing powders, and y’know, it ain’t half-bad. It does a nice job of mattifying my skin and blurring pores, and paired with a good primer, that effect can last most of my work shift. But translucent (aka white) powders tend to make my already-pale skin look even paler since I really need to layer them on in the summer months when I’m oily. For that reason, I think I’ll stick with tinted powders that blend into my skin better, and loose ones at that, just because I feel like I can distribute loose powder more evenly on my brush.

After deciding to purchase the NYX Professional Makeup's Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation, I thought I would also give the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Matte Primer a try with this. I must say that the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Matte Primer is without a doubt the thickest primer I've ever used. This stuff is THICK!! Because it is so thick when you apply it this does not agree with many layers of other products. It can cause moisturizer or sunscreen underneath to pill. Where this product works okay is with the new NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation. This didn't work well with other foundations I tried such as the Bare Minerals BarePro Foundation or the Boscia BB Cream. If you don't use many layers or moisturizer underneath the primer this does work better. I do love the price though. If you have oilier or normal skin and are going to try the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation this is worth trying out in conjunction with it. My video review can be seen here:

With 45 different shades to choose from and an affordable price, I really wanted to love the new NYX Professional Makeup Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation. It is also fragrance and alcohol free, which made me want to love it even more. To be honest though, this foundation was just okay. I can't see myself ever reaching for it over my other favorite foundations. I have a favorite long wear foundation, a favorite SPF foundation, a favorite full coverage foundation, and a favorite casual day foundation. The NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation doesn't fit in to any of those. For my this foundation just ended up looking cakey and unnatural. If you have dry skin I recommend you moisturize and use a hydrating primer. If you have normal or oily skin you probably won't have as much issues as I did. I would say this is medium coverage and is transfer resisitant. If you have deeper skin tones, normal/ oily skin, and few fine lines I would recommend checking this out- it just wasn't for me, but I love that they have 45 shades to choose from!!! Tested this once, and am holding off until drier months to retest. I have combo skin, but lean shiny/oily.This is a more dewy primer (moisturizing) and since it's summer/humid when I tested it, it made me a bit more greasy than I'd have liked, so I'm leaving it at a three lippie until I can test it when my skin is drier. It's very lightweight - I almost thought this was a dupe for the Smashbox primerizer (which I love) but it's not. That I can use right now in the summer and it doesn't make me as dewy as this does. It didn't make my makeup cake or anything, nor is it scented, so I think it's a decent primer if you are looking for more moisture. Did not break me out the day I tried it and it also contains Niacinamide, which is a great bonus for your skin. I think the price is good - and it's over an ounce.

I bought this and never tried it out - returned it immediately. Not because it didn' work - but because I have sensitive skin and this is very scented. It's not perfumed, but I think it's the almond oil that gives it a nice sweet scent. I liked it - but I hesitate putting anything scented on my skin, so if you are sensitive, be aware.I think the vial and dropper were really neat, so I liked the packaging and it's glass and feels very heavy.

The new Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop foundation is great for matte lovers! I watched the Alissa Ashley tutorial for this foundaiton, and she mentioned that she has dry skin and uses a dewy primer with this matte foundation and it works great.I read a comparison list of ingredients of the new Nyx foundation to the L'oreal Pro-matte 24H foundation, and they are virtually identical. I love the pro-matte, but it's a little pricey ($20+) in my area for a drugstore foundation. Once I read they were pretty much identical, I found the Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop on sale for $15 CAD (regularly $18.50). I chose the shade porcelain (103) and it's quite good! It's nice that they have a shade even lighter, and 45 shades is an impressive range, even if my local stores don't carry every shade.I like the coverage, I don't usually go for a full coverage and I'd say this is medium buildable. Applies and blends nicely, plays well with my other makeup products, isn't cakey, doesn't slide during the day. Still looks great at the end of an 8 hour day!Very pleased with this one!

I had high hopes for this eye primer but it failed! My beef with this inexpensive guy is that by the end of the day, my eyeshadow is sitting in the crease. Not as bad as some, but I'd rather pay for my favorite, Urban Decay's eye primer, than lament my smudged eyeshadow every day.

:O How did I miss reviewing this!?!? THIS IS MY FAVORITE RED!!!!!!! I adore this color. A slightly muted blue toned red. For some reason I have so many red-oranges and oranges but this red is just to die for. It's creamy and beautiful in color and formula. Oh man I'm itching for a backup just talking about it. (They seem to be getting rid of a lot of these or possibly the line). Get this if you can, it's gorgeous. I'm going to add some images as well.

Ok first of all it's São Paulo.... Not sure where everyone is getting San from. The city and name on mine is São.Anyway. I have a love hate relationship with SMLC. They feel great when you first put them on, but I'm my opinion they are drying. They're lightweight, but get crumbly and wear away on the inside of your lips throughout the day.Having said that, I wasn't going to buy any more but I really love the shade Prague and was looking to refill it. I saw a set of 3 completely different ones in Marshalls for a really good price, so I grabbed them. Two happen to be similar to some Maybelle Vivids I have (but these are matte) but this one may be my favorite because it's so different from the rest of my collection. I get why people are calling this fuchsia, but in my opinion fuchsia is more purple (I would consider Prague more fuchsia than this, for example). It's not really like any hot or bright pinks, so I compared this to my other coral shades and they're all more orange. This is actually more like a red to me but a bright red. The closest I have is Nyx Merlot, but this is brighter and more pink. I can't decide if it's more orange or blue toned. It's really in the center. But it's super pretty. I keep looking at it. So I'm glad I got this. I agree that the packaging is so misleading, and I would love a shade that looks like the bottle did, but overall this is so eye catching and wearable.I'll try to add a comparison pic later.

I'm a big fan of the "Anastasia - clear brow gel" and for sure the NYX brow gel isn't a dupe for the Anastasia one. The "Control freak" sets the eyebrow hairs in place but it doesn't work on those hormonal days when my eyebrows are extremely unruly. The eyebrow hairs are quite soft after applying the Control Freak brow gel. The essence make me brow does the same thing with NYX brow gel but it's tinted. In other words, I haven't found a dupe for the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel and I haven't found an other brow gel that works as well as the Anastasia one but I have found many brow gels that are like the Control Freak by NYX in terms of the result they give including the Benefit clear brow gel.

I have dark circles and deep tear troughs under my eyes combined with some fine lines that get accentuated if drying concealers are used. I have tried a TON of correctors. Yellow, orange, salmon, peach etc. High end brands like Becca and Tarte to drugstore brands like ELF and Pixi. This so far is one of my top 3. It is not drying and does not accentuate lines, although it does crease a bit. The lightest shade is the most perfect pinkish colour to correct my dark circles for my super fair skin. The only con to this corrector is that it is not pigmented enough and I have to keep applying layers to get coverage and then have to go over with a regular concealer. If it were more medium-full coverage I’d be happy to use it alone because it does look natural. I will still likely repurchase though as the colour itself is the best i’ve found so far.

I bought this product a few weeks ago - just before I went on holiday to Italy (where it was pretty hot, so I could test it properly to see if it would smudge in this sweaty weather). It was €7,20 in a NYX store in Belgium - which is a fair price for this product I'd say. I've tried a few (budget) primers before (Essence, Catrice, HEMA and Artdeco) and none of those can do what this NYX primer can. I wore it on daily basis in Italy when I was wearing both eyeshadow and liner and my make-up did not smudge at all! Even though my skin got really quite sweaty, my eyeshadow didn't really crease and still looked really nice at the end of the day. Maybe it did fade a little - but no ugly smudging or creasing, so I'm happy. Not sure if the more expensive brands do even better - but compared to the ones I've tried; this one wins!

I have this in nude suede shoes and it goes really well with mac liptensity clouds in my coffee and nyx butter gloss in fortune cookie. Anyways this glides on really velvety and the color is a nude warm pinky peach on me. It is slightly lighter than my natural lip color and does not wash me out but it does pull a tiny bit orange. I HATE lipsticks or liners that lean orange or too brown and this is a smidge too peachy. this was cheap and affordable, nyx is where its at with their lip liners. Its less than half the price of high end and works just as well. Dont sleep on nyx and try these out! Downside that it doesnt last too long on the lips. I wouldnt repurchase because i dont think ill finish this since i dont rock a nude lip often. But its still a pretty nude to have.

I am nc20 nw20 neutral fair skin. This can make me look muddy and weird if paired with a clear gloss because i cant pull off brown liners because i am on the fair end of light. I dont reach for this as much because it washed me out in an ashy brown way. formula is good though, I always invested in mac and nars lip liners but honestly nyx is just as good and less than half the price. Ulta has sales buy one get one half off so its around 4 dollars for one instead of mac 18 dollars per liner and back to mac does not include their liners. Nyx is where the liners are at ladies. i wouldnt repurchase because i initially bought this to try out a brown liner and i realized it just looks weird on my skintone. this is a dupe for stripdown by mac. I didnt want to dish out 20 dollars for mac or nars so nyx is great to test out colors since they have all kinds of dupable ones.edit- i found how to make this work, using this all over the lips gives me a weird ashy muddy look but i started to fill my lip with nyx nude suede shoe liner(nude pink peach) then pop nude beige only on the bottom center of my lips and the upper corners of my lips for a contoured lip look. it makes my lips look a lot bigger. it sounds crazy to be using 2 liners but i couldnt return this so i might as well make it work. this is a great shadow contour color for lips not so much as a lipliner to line the whole lip for my skintone.
