I have this product in the “clear shade, and I’m pleased with it overall.I was looking for a clear gloss with silver shimmer, and this gloss fits that description. It’s pretty much a standard clear gloss that’s literally packed with very tiny clear/iridescent glitter. If I had to name it, I’d call it “Moonlight.” I think it could work for either day or evening. It doesn’t really impart any color on its own, but lends an ethereal shimmer to any lipcolor it’s applied atop. The gloss is slightly thick, nicely emollient, but is minimally sticky. I detect no grittiness, even when I rub my lips together. It does have a slightly cloying “makeup-y” scent/taste to it, but that fades a bit as it’s worn. Speaking of wear, the gloss wears respectably, though it won’t survive much eating or drinking.Packaging is adequate, consisting of a clear plastic tube, and a cap with a sturdy doe-foot applicator. This is a very nice gloss, for less than $10.00 USD, from a cruelty-free company.I hope NYX keeps this one around for a long time.

Took off my foundation when I tried to blend it out. Very low quality! Wouldn't recommend to anyone, was so disappointed. The colours are nice but since they fade away to nothing, taking the rest of your makeup with it, so not worth it! I do like the style of the tool though as a pen.

i typically use gel liners - specifically the elf pot eyeliner - and i feel like both this pen and that pot each have their pros and cons.this one doesn't transfer to my upper eyelids, which is nice. but it's not oilproof by any means and often smudges on me throughout the day. the outer corners of my eyes can get kind of watery and i do more of a downward/puppy liner wing these days so that could have something to do with it.i do really like the thinness of the tip - angled liner brushes can fray pretty quickly after a few washes if you don't carefully reshape the bristles and wash them very gently, so with gel liner i often would have to do much thicker lines. i can do more delicate + precise work with this pen for sure.but i dont think i will repurchase. the fact that it smudges so severely + flakes off a bit throughout the day makes it a little high maintenance for me. i dont like the idea of pens in the first place because i like to buy products that last a long time and i feel like a pen's shelf life is more predetermined (and way shorter) than a gel pot's, but i wanted to try this to see if i'd been missing out since so many people seem to like it. i dont think this liner is the worst makeup product i've ever tried, i just dont think it suits my eye/skin type and makeup preferences.

Typically I wear BB creams around the house, but I've been trying to find a lightweight foundation that I could wear for long work days.. and this is my new holy grail product! I keep reading reviews with people saying this isn't a full coverage foundation, maybe that's because it feels so lightweight? It's very pigmented and easily covers any acne, dark circles, and redness without needing to reach for my usual concealer. The colour range is impressive, although I am disappointed that most places seem to only carry 8-10 shades in store.. the other shades would need to be ordered online. On that note, as someone with very light skin, this is the first time I was able to find a drugstore brand of foundation that actually matched my complexion without leaving me orangey, or ghastly pale.My biggest complaint with foundations or BB creams is that my skin is oily (and sensitive) so I don't find they last long, but this foundation keeps my skin very matte ALL DAY (and we're talking, 12+ hours of me running around, high humidity) with no separation, zero transfer. I've been caught out in a rainstorm, fell asleep with a full face of makeup on.. and still looked great. All it takes is a little micellar water, and it removes so easily, which is also a huge bonus for me.THANK YOU NYX!! What an awesome new product :D

I would give it 5 lippies, but it does not on the fingers have the lovely purple-taupe tone on me in the bottle. It looses the purple and taupe and goes to a lovely gray in 2 coats. 3 coats would not be needed nor really change the color. It does deserve praise as a lovely deep gray.Sadly, it's discontinued. The formula is good and it applies well. The price was also good for NYX Girls polishes and the color range really good. It's a lovely grey with a hint of warmth but also some coolness. It's not a cool, cold grey but about in the middle between warm and cool. I would have preferred bottle color with more warmth. But I still love it and it's very flattering on me.But if you were expecting bottle color, one coat is too sheer, it needs 2 (3 is overkill). And expect none of the purple-taupe, and it to be a gray about 2-3 shades darker than bottle color and you won't see much lavender on the nail. Still lovely though. I tried to find an accurate picture of it and post it.

I like this palette a lot, it's one of the best I've tried from the drugstore. The pigmentation is great (but admittedly not "amazing", you can't really compare Nyx with the likes of Sugarpill or anything) and the colors are suuuuuuuper blendable. These are neutral mattes that are very work-appropriate and classy on the eyes. There isn't a single shade that I don't like and I find them all very buildable if you want a more intense look. The packaging is a bit "thick" but I don't mind the bulkiness because it feels more durable than most of Nyx's other palettes. It's also really cheap, I think I got it for $10 from the NYX site.

A perfectly fine product but not my cup of tea. I tried Speed of Light on a lark despite the fact that I'm not big on anything that makes my lips look shiny. It's extremely pigmented; one swipe and you're set, but it's thick and goopy and not remotely what I reach for in a lip product. Plus, Speed of Light kind of clashes with my cooler tones. I'm sure it would look stunning on warmer, deeper skin tones.

I loved this powder foundation. It has medium coverage it doesn’t make my eyes look 100 and it is truly transfer proof. But i hit pan in 2 weeks. First time for me as I usually throw powders for not finishing them in the usual recommended 12 months. On the fence about this one.

Honestly, I really like how this product blends and looks on the skin. It's pretty creamy and a beautiful colour. HOWEVER, there are several things that I just can't get over so I have tossed this product and will not be repurchasing.1) I hardly ever use the highlight side, and I find that the highlight side is much harder to blend than the contour side. So it sucks that only half the product applies well.2) The contour side BREAKS ME OUT! And I do not have sensitive skin and hardly ever get spots. If a product does that to my skin even if it is the prettiest contour ever it is not worth it.3) I've purchased this product twice because the first one I had the sticks fell right out of the packaging. For such a well known brand that is not acceptable, especially because this product is pretty expensive for drug store at around $14 CAD.Would not recommend AT ALL. There are way better options for contouring on a budget. You can even get the Tarte park Avenue princess stick for $10.40 CAD on sale right now which is less money than this and a million times better.

I like the actual product, the strokes are soft and natural and not too harsh. The reason I wouldn't buy it again though is because I finished it in about two weeks, which is a vert short lasting time for the price. Also the screw/turn mechanism broke pretty quickly so it was impossible to get use of the last few millimeters of pencil.

I have five shades of this product--Dexter (red), Let's Get Physical (pinky brown), Sandalwood (pumpkin), Rosy Outlook (warm rose), and Strawberry Whip (mauve). They are all nice, and I like the wear and the performance. I am not huge on lip gloss since I want something opaque on my lips, so Slip Tease is a great combo of lipstick and gloss. It is very pigmented, and I can get a solid few hours of wear out of all of the colors. I was a little worried that these might bleed, but on my lips they do not. Of course they transfer since they are glossy finish, but even as they wear away they look very nice. The packaging is decent, though I did get a couple that I had to exchange since the caps weren't locking into place when they closed. The applicator is amazing, and it dispenses just the right amount of product. They have a faint scent, but no taste. All in all, this is a great product if you know what you are getting in for. If you want a comfortable, shiny-yet-not-goopy liquid lipstick, look no further.

This gloss is lovely. Peachy pink nude on my moderately pigmented lips. It smells nice, feels truly buttery. It is sticky, and that sucks for my hair. My husband loves the way it looks but not the way it feels when he kisses me. Three out of five ain't bad.

This summer this became my go to foundation, even on bad skin days.I loved the fact that it gave me a light to medium coverage and that I didn't feel anything on my skin after application. It covered redness and evened out the skin tone perfectly. It won't cover huge pimples and it didn't cover my sister's melasma. It stayed good for at least 3-4 hours and then I had only to touch up my nose which gets super oily in summer.I have to say that there's not a lot of product in the case, but the price is amazing. I have tried applying it with a wet sponge and with a dry sponge and I tend to prefer the dry method.I'm in my second tub and I continue to love it as much. During winter it is a bit drying.

After testing this out for two weeks, I have to say I finally found a complexion product that I enjoyed from NYX. Not much to say except the coverage is fantastic on this - very natural and truly lightweight. I love how pretty and unmask like my skin looks throughout the day. This is absolutely perfect for work or as a weekend foundation but I probably wouldn’t reach for it on a night out. I really have no complaints in terms of longevity, formulation, oxidation, cakiness, or color range. With that being said here are a few things to note:-your base matters with this foundation! I like to use the NYX Insta Ready Primer? (I think that’s what it’s called - in the black squeeze tube) or the FAB coconut primer - no issues whatsoever but not as great results with other primers especially silicone based ones. -be careful about what foundation you mix with this as the differences in formulation can cause separation to occur. I’ve tried it with Fenty (no), WnW Photofocus (no), and LA Girl Pro Matte (actually not too bad), and TF Sweet Peach (NO!!!). -doesn’t look very good with setting spray on top.Separation also occurs (I used UD setting spray) and made me look greasy-your setting powder matters!! Don’t use setting powders that adds coverage because it takes away from the beautiful finish of this foundation. The best results for me is the Coty Airspun or the Hourglass Veil setting powders. I would absolutely avoid powder foundations unless you’re going for the dull, flat, matte look.I guess the big takeaway from this is that it’s a beautiful coverage on its own and not to alter/add to/or enhance the finish in any way. Normally $15 at the drugstore is a bit eh for me but all in all, I think it’s worth the money. It is definitely top at the drugstore right now.
