I get the whole flanker deal. But they really should have dropped the "Candy" part of the name. The "Florale" part is accurate. I sense a slow but inexorable move away from dessert and fruit fragrances which have been done to perdition in the recent decades, and toward florals. Of course the "modern" way is to avoid anything strong, adventurous, or big shouldered, lest it be labeled as dated.I tested this at bedtime. (Not a bad way to test fragrances before you unleash them on your community. You can be intimate with them and surely test their lasting power.) There was a bit of brown sugar to wave at the Candy name. What followed was a light, hard to identify floral bouquet that was fresh, pretty, and immemorable. Your shower gel in a spritz bottle. Was not apparent on my wrist when I awoke seven hours later.

I'm on my second bottle of this, and I'm still not bored by it. I love how musky and soft this scent is. I didn't like at first. It's the type of perfume that you really have to wear on your skin to see how it morphs and reacts with your skin chemistry. People who think skin chemistry isn't real are truly misinformed ( Turin I'm talking to you!) I get lots of sweet and powdery Iris, benzoin, & what reminds me of white musk.. I just adore it so much! I think it's such a classic/ old world type of scent. I don't think it will please everyone, but that's probably why I love it so much and it just works for me. And I love the bottle, the lid fits perfectly in place with a little click, and I appreciate that. OH, and it lasts forever on me! It seems to warm up on my skin too, and I always receive lot of compliments when I wear it. It's definitely a try before you buy perfume, but really I think they ALL are that way. Scent is so subjective, and I never know if I like a perfume until I actually try it a few times. Also, I love how this scent has no sour or sharp notes, it's all old school powder deliciousness in a bottle.

Love this scent. Honestly, I'm terrible at describing scents so I won't bother but I will say that it is a non-juvenile, great year round scent. Would repurchase.

This still seems like a mix of Pink Sugar and Infusion D Iris to me. But I decided to buy it anyway, because I LOVE Infusion d Iris so much. I could wear it everyday and be happy, but I'm too much of a perfume ho to do that. I really love the benzoin, and white musk in this, and it does last for hours. I think I would re-buy it too! It's not too sweet either. I personally love sweet perfumes, like Pink Sugar, so it's not giving me a toothache. I think this is a very well done sweetheart perfume, but I still don't love that lid! It popped off the first time I opened my box, and freaked me out! But, thankfully I was able to put it back on and it still works fine.

I got this as a gift for x-mas thinking it was the original I had asked for. Nonetheless I tried it anyway. At first was not crazy about it because I'm not a floral type person. However, I got compliments on it, so I will repurchase. It is pricey for a floral scent in my opinion. I've always like Chanel Allure but it is $135.00 and I can't bring myself to spend that much. I will repurchase but will keep looking as well.

I agree with previous reviewer, I'm not figuring Prada is going to be a "value" purchase and I certainly don't mind re-applying this amazing scent, the best candy-like scent I have smelled. It honestly only needs one re-application per day. The bottle is something else, like something out of a glam old movie. To me, this perfume screams summer, and I wore a 2.7 oz bottle down by half last summer. I'll probably nearly finish it this year. This is so great to me... <3

I don't understand why people are so negative about the price; it's a brand-name scent, for heaven's sakes, and no more expensive than any other brand-name scent out there. I find that they are all more or less the same price at Shoppers Drug Mart, where I buy most of my scents, or Sephora.Only this scent is different. It's absolutely luscious. My new signature scent. Someone described it as a warm caramel hug and I couldn't describe it better. That's why I love to put it on first thing every morning.Yes, I reapply after four hours: price is not an issue when you want to wear Prada. You get what you pay for. Sophistication, beauty, refinement, a scent that can be your signature for a lifetime. A scent that describes you in a beautiful way. I adore Candy! If cheap and cheerful is what you're looking for Adidas makes some lovely scents and they are $22 for a big bottle. But that's a world of experience away from a Prada scent, let's get real, people.

Got a sample of this from Sephora. I am not a fan of Prada fragrances, dislike the original Candy but this one seems to be little bit better. I still think it's too sweet and disturbing but compared to another sample that I received (Gucci Guilty Diamond) this one is a bit better. However, I would never buy or even wear it. It gives me headaches. As someone else mentioned, it does smell like hairspray.

I first for a sample from sephora and I loved it. It's sort of a musky, floral scent. I know a lot of people say the lasting power isn't great, but I sprayed a little behind my neck and it lasts all day for me. Also I got a whole lot of "you smell great!" throughout the day. Definently repurchasing.

I'm usually not a fan of florals but I really love the scent of this. It's romantic and feminine and uplifting... but it doesn't last very long. Wish they made fabric softener in this scent.

Very different from the Prada Candy, , candy Florale is a soft rosey scent, nothing outstanding, but it smells nice...you could easily remove the Candy out of the name though, as this isn't sweet, or remotely gourmand....like lots of Florale versions, it is a bit generic, and so light...no longevity nor projection there...only for lovers of softer florals.. I found it quite boring.

I'm not a good person to review perfume, to me the product smell good or not, and then it stays on my skin or not. I'll not tell you that it smells like rain after a sunny day or citrus with a touch of cucumber. I wish I was able to smell like that but I'm not, so I'll leave that to the pros of MUA :) However, here's what I can tell you about it: On me, the staying power was ok, around the 3-4 hours mark, but not in your face. People around me cannot really smell it unless they have their nose on my skin. It's soft and pretty, like another reviewer said, a mix of Prada Candy and Daisy from Marc Jacob, which is not a bad thing for me because I like both. I don't think I would go out of my way to purchase it however, if I got another sample or if someone gave it to me, I would wear it. It's definitively not an HG product, but it's not that bad either.

I absolutely adore this scent!! Prada is a warm caramel hug. Sillage is moderate and Longevity is moderate as well. I find that it wears away after about 4 hours but I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. I don't find it cloying or overly sweet at all... I think it's subtle and smells expensive. I wouldn't wear this everyday because of the price tag but when I want to feel a little more put together when running errands or for a date night I pull out Candy. I'm not the best at describing scents but I smell I would say it's a direct gourmand caramel scent with soft musk. Love!!

I didn't want to love this, but I think I do. The top notes are very sweet, but it dries down to a warm, sensuous, comforting musk. Perfect in the cold weather. Plus, I got a "You smell great!" from my husband. I think I will have to get a bottle of this, currently am using a sample from Nordstrom.
