Foundations -Neutrogena -Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint

i like this product a lot, im someone who likes light coverage foundations/bb creams but also am very particular about how a product feels on the skin. id say this is about medium coverage as opposed to a “tint”. im not a fan of the packaging, now dont get me wrong i do like the giant applicator for its convenience , but id prefer to leave that to concealers. its so unhygienic especially for a bottle of foundation.

I just brought this cream as my hands are sore red and I've got some eczema on my right hand that's sore from all my hand washing I do I thought I would try this as it was on special I like how it feels after it exsorbs into your skin it feels soft but it is greasy to if you use more then a pea sized amount I think this would be good to use at night with some gloves on to keep in the moisture it feels like a ointment more then a cream to me I've just got it so it will take some more time to see how I feel about it I do like how it's small enough to put in my handbag I'll get a bigger one once and if I like it better then my normal hand cream which is Aveeno intense relief hand cream that my go to cream I always have it.

It never dries down matte. Feel tacky and glides off from the skin. Also this left white cast. I'm around NC20-NC25.
For reference I apply 1.25 ml to the face only. Would not recommend

Not too long ago, Ulta was giving these skin tints away as GWPs - full-size, entirely for free.

I'm currently destashing products I don't use, and I haven't gotten around to using this because initially the shade I picked up (Honey) was too tan for my face. Now that it's summer, it's definitely still too tan for my face but allows me to shade match with my tanned arms and legs!

Since it's labeled as a tint, I expect a lightweight, sheer finish. A second skin feel. "No makeup" makeup. There's this weird doe foot applicator that reminds me of concealers...but anywho, brushes aren't necessary. I used my fingers to smooth this on, dotting the product all over my face. What might throw off people initially is that it has a thick, creamy consistency from the get go and doesn't glide around (the norm is that skin tints are watery and absorb slowly into the skin). It sheers out, going from 100 to like, 10 in a few rubs. The bottle says it has hyaluronic acid in the formula, but I can't say whether or not if it retains moisture well because I live in a humid climate and religiously apply skincare before makeup. What I love, surprisingly, is that I can touch my face without the fear of it transferring onto my hands, clothes, other people's clothes...

If you're looking for coverage, this isn't it (in fact, throw out the idea of tints altogether!!!). Get yourself some Kat Von D, some Dermacol, or whatever NikkiTutorials uses on the daily.

I took off a lippy because shade matching is difficult, but I can see this being used by those who go tanning or use tanning products, or want that sunkissed Miami glow. Going to the beach? Use this. Hate cake face? Use this. Want to even out your skintone without sacrificing the textural quality of your bare skin? Use this. Want to wear breathable makeup to the gym and don't want sweat streaks????? Use this. Do you want your teeth to look more dazzling white? Use this (on your face). This is definitely a makeup minimalist's, sporty girl's and beach girl's foundation.

As for destashing, I'm keeping this.

My go-to SS for years! I have sensitive skin, but surprisingly this doesn’t irritate it. Can’t beat that price, either!

I apply 1/4 tsp to face and neck, let dry, then apply the other 1/4 tsp. Not super sweat proof, but I just reapply more frequently if i’m In water or sweating a lot.

Lip Gloss -Neutrogena -Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine

I have this in Radiant Raspberry. It's technically sheer, and I have pigmented lips, but this shows up for sure. From what I gather, the deeper shades seem to have better color payoff, so keep that in mind when you're in an icy Rite Aid at 10pm on a random Friday looking for a cheap thrill because that seems more fun than being around people *shudder.*

The texture is...I want to say it's sticky, but it's not really. It's a little heavy rather. It has a certain heft on your lips, yet sinks in and really does plump and moisturize. It wears for a while too, and as it does it can feel sort of tacky, which doesn't bother me but does make me feel compelled to reapply. It's like, instinctually I think once this feeling occurs it means my lip product needs maintenance, but this wears realllllyy well. This particular shade goes on bright but "fades" quickly, meaning it just sinks in. There is still color, and this 5-min-post-applying color will last at least 2-3 hours for me. When it fades completely, it does so fairly gracefully, but can leave a minimal lip-ring (probably not an issue with the lighter shades).

It's more dewy than shiny, which I LOVE. My lips are in undeniably better shape after I wear it & the plumping action isn't excessive (or tingly) but it's definitely a benefit. It's not really a gloss where you can smush your lips around to readjust it. I got it for about $9. I would definitely recommend this, and I generally seriously dislike drugstore glosses. I would rebuy this in a different shade.

Tube looks like old Clinique gloss tubes. You will read these reviews and wonder "wtf do they mean when they talk about the applicator being wack?" but I am here to tell you: the applicator is wack. It's just really hard to get in and out of the tube, which is dangerous when you're dealing with cosmetics.

ADDENDUM: I picked this up in "Ballet Pink" as well because I have a makeup addiction, but that's neither here nor there. I wanted to add that since my original review was for a bright/deep shade, and lighter shades of lipgloss have historically been a-holes in my personal makeup experience, I can now fully recommend this line. Ballet Pink is very sheer but lightens up my pigmented lips and adds a lovely milkiness that I've been looking for forEVER and have only just found with this gloss. Not only that, it does it with lovely, even application and refuses to highlight lines and flakes. The rest of my review holds, too. Moisturizing, plumping, decent wear time. The tube/applicator scenario is still idiotic.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena -Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra Dry Skin

I recommend this product for extremely oily skin, particularly when you have dehydrated-oily skin.

I’ve used Clinique Moisture-Surge and that was perfect for my skin. It’s just totally unaffordable as I need to put quite a lot on my skin to combat my dehydration. I can’t afford 30ml every month.

I’ve replaced instead with Neutrogena and I must say, although it isn’t as good as Clinique, it’s pretty close!

I got this half-price at boots. You don’t get much for the price, but then again Clinique also gives you barely anything at a rip-off price too.

This keeps my skin feeling hydrated for most of the day and does not increase oil production for me. It does sink into my skin and leaves my skin soft and plump. I enjoy the feel of this product.

It’s just not quite, quiiiiiiiite as good, but as I can’t afford Clinique I will keep using this as a good, safe option.

Annoyingly I ran out and accidentally bought the identical Neutrogena Water Gel version, that irritated my face a little and doesn’t sink into the skin, rather just forms a barrier on top. Just be careful not to make the same mistake. Why on earth would you put it in an identical pot?

This is terrible and reminded me why I don't bother buying drugstore skincare products. I ran out of my clinique take the day off cleansing balm and wanted to grab something to use inbetween before I rebuy it. This promises to leave your skin supple and has hyaluronic acid, I was intrigued.

This left my skin feeling tight, burned my eyes and smells like soap. I will try to return this as it was expensive even on sale, about $12.99 here in Canada. I was hoping this would work as a good makeup remover, nope, I have no use for this.

initially i thought this moisturiser was a miracle: it applied well, absorbed really quickly and left my skin feeling smooth. it controlled my shine pretty decently too but it’s not the best. i thought i had found the replacement to a discontinued moisturiser i had been using before this. fast forward a few weeks later, i am at the end of the container and i would not repurchase this. i have many clogged pores on my forehead and it’s unsightly. i had overcome this problem using my old moisturiser and i am disheartened that it has resurfaced. as what others have said, this feels more like a primer rather than a moisturiser. the smooth application is a facade, i doubt there is any true moisturising in this product. the shine control is probably from the amount of silicones used in it. i have to say the packaging is great and looks extremely sleek for a drugstore product. scent is ok too, nothing too overpowering in my opinion. tldr, definitely not a hydrating product if you are looking for one. those with sensitive skin should be extra careful as well. proceed with caution.

Lip Gloss -Neutrogena -Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine

No lie, this is one of the best lip products I’ve ever used. I think of it as an extension of my skincare/lip treatment arsenal, NOT as a lip color. I bought the shade Soft Blush (10). It gives me that MLBB look, and it always looks “just right” even if I’m not wearing any other makeup...it’s dewy, not necessarily “shiny”. I use it as a lip treatment when I’m at work, because extra long shifts + ultra-dry environment = severely chapped lips. (Plus, the MLBB look is a nice bonus that makes me look more put together.) This gloss is full of hyaluronic acid, which binds water to itself and thereby keeps your skin/lips from drying out. It works fine if applied straight to dry lips, but I find that it works even better if I get my lips just *slightly* damp first. Either way, it stays put for hours, and when it finally comes off, my lips are smooth and flake-free underneath! If I wipe my lips with a towel, the flakes just slide right off. My lips actually look a bit plumper with this gloss, and that “full” look lasts for awhile after it’s gone...however, there is nothing in this product that specifically works to plump up your lips. The action of hyaluronic acid binding to water just makes things look more plump. Overall, the ingredients are pretty mild, and I haven’t had any issues with my eczema from using this, so that’s a bonus. Also, it doesn’t have a taste or smell, so I can eat/drink normally while wearing this lip gloss and it isn’t totally gross. For the $8 or so that I paid for this, I couldn’t be happier with it!

This cleanser says ultra gentle for sensitive skin, I have very sensitive skin, this cleanser burned my face as if I had a chemical burn on my forehead & cheeks. This product may work for others, but it is obviously NOT the product for my Skin.

Mascara -Neutrogena -Hydro Boost

on 5/25/2018 11:41:00 PM

This mascara made thick sooty spider lashes that lasted all day in humid St. Louis heat. No flaking or smearing raccoon eyes later in the day and product removed easily with cleansing oil. I was pretty impressed. Mascara does go on a little wet at first so there are a few clumps but they are easy to deal with. No itchy eyes with this.

Toners -Neutrogena -Alcohol-Free Toner

I bought this toner because I needed a new one and without looking at the ingredients. I noticed it was alcohol free so I didn't think it would dry out my skin. After using it once I noticed the smell which I personally thought was a pleasant scent but I immediately knew it had fragrance in it. Which has alcohol. I looked on the back and sure enough it had fragrance. I also noticed it had a paraben in it.... it doesn't say paraben free but really.. I'm just tired of products containing things companies know are bad for the skin. I noticed my skin turned lightly red and it slightly burned. I used it one more time and my face still felt irritated by it. I will be throwing the rest away but recycling the bottle. Extremely disappointed.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena -Hydro Boost City Shield spf25

on 5/25/2018 2:11:00 AM

This is a moisturizer and/or sunscreen.
I am reviewing it as a moisturizer because I just love it.
It is light enough to use in the morning unter makeup but the hydration it provides is immediate and lasting. My oily skin seems to love it, it never broke me out and it doesn't make me even more oily.
So far I've worn it unter foundation or unter tinted sunscreen with no problems whatsoever.
The Price is amazing, too. Just 11 euros!
Highly recommended!
