Thanks to a recommendation on this board I picked up this Nars Soft Matte concealer. The girl at Sephora recommended Custard for my olive skin tone and she was bang on. I may even be able to go down a shade lighter but that might be too light. My goal was to eliminate foundation from my life even if temporarily. I am just getting a bit tired of the full makeup routine and wanted my skin to breathe even though I have a few bad and obvious sun spots and uneven skin tone. The skin tone doesn't bother me so much because hey - it's natural. But the sun spots are just too much evidence of my old sun worshipping days! This concealer helped me achieve that. I prefer to use it after applying my smashbox primer as it goes on easily. A little goes a long way and I try to tap it into the areas where my sunspots are mainly around my cheekbones and below. It is buildable and loooks pretty matte as its name suggests. I use a mineral powder with medium colour but looking to find a different one to suit this change in routine. I feel a powder is probably necessary to tie it all together especially since there's no foundation. I then use bronzer and recently started to use a highlighter on the cheekbones. These steps also help to mask the sunspots. It's still work - but it's nice to skip the foundation for awhile. Before this I was using Revlon colourstay concealer which I found was a close dupe for Estée Lauder doublewear concealer. I have been happy with it for years but there was no chance I could use it without foundation. Although pricier than I would like it to be, a little Nars soft matte concealer goes a long way. And if I'm skipping foundation then it helps me justify the spend.

This is my go-to blusher (although I basically use it as a bronzer) and I use it everyday. It’s very buildable and the colour is gorgeous. I have fair skin and it makes me look like I’ve been in the sun for a few hours.

This foundation tends to stick to any dry patches and does by the end of the day has worn off around the t zone. It looks good when first applied to non dry skin but isn't particularly luminous but can look downright oily by the end of the day. You need to buy the pump separately which seems cheap considering the price is already fairly expensive. Also not great for very sensitive skin.

If I could only buy 1 blush for the rest of my life this would be it. It adds such warmth to the cheeks and the color goes great with my nc15-20 skin and golden red hair.

This might deserve a 3.5 or 4.5 star, depends on the user really.I have fair skin with cool/pink undertone. On a scale of 1 lightest - 10 darkest purple, I would give my eye circles a 7 on an average day. I accepted by now there's no way I can cover my circles with just one or even two products and have it match the rest of my skin color. I bought Chantilly although that one is said to be for warm undertone. Vanilla, which was the recommend shade for me, suited better for my skin color but since I have to apply something else both under and on top of the concealer on my eyelid area, Chantilily worked better with the other products I have. The texture is good for smooth, normal-to-oily skin. It feels a little dry on dry skin if you don't use a moisturizer/primer beforehand. It doesn't fill in fine lines - or let's say does it less than the other concealers, all of them fill in a bit. It does a good job covering and indeed has some bright look but like I said, when you're like me and have to apply something else on top of the concealer to cover dark circles, it doesn't mean much if the concealer has a bright look, does it?My conclusion: I would definitely recommend trying this at a store, it's a good concealer. But if you're on a budget, I'd also suggest thinking twice if it's worth the price for you. By my judgement, if your dark circles are not very dark, you find a shade in the line that matches your skin tone AND you like a little bright look... I mean if you can use this concealer alone and get the look you want, it's worth the price. I loooved the bright look. This concealer's price is 130 in my country's currency. M.A.C. concealers for example start from 52 and between 52 and 130, they have 11 different line of concealers with different textures. I'm not a fan of MAC at all but only looking at the performance at covering dark circles, there was no difference between a cheaper MAC concealer and this one from NARS. I can't use either of them alone. In cases like this I don't think NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer's price is worth it. At least not if you will use it daily so the product won't last long.

This has reached HG status for me! The coverage is very sheer (good for daily wear), works an excellent base for cream blush and won't break me out. It can be a bit drying sometimes, but it wears well over moisturizer too so that's not a problem. The color Finland matches my skintone perfectly.

Well, I'm not sure why it's called radiant, it's flat matte. The color selection is somehow poor. I have a neutral light-medium skin and the single shade that works with my skin tone is Vanilla. Salesperson advised me to get it, but it turned out to be way too light and there was nothing I could replace it with. My under eye skin is dry and applying moisturizer underneath doesn't make this concealer look natural. It looks dry and powdery even with no setting powder. It creases directly. If you don't have dry skin and if you can find a shade match this concealer might be a really good one. The coverage is definitely there and you don't need to use a lot.

(My actual rating is 3.5 lippies).Practically all of the base products I've tried oxidized two shades darker on me, even with a primer on (ex. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, Benefit Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer, Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer, etc.). With this concealer being so raved about, I was hoping it would work for me. But this oxidizes too, which makes me so upset. I've tried two shades, Custard and the recently added shade Café Con Leche. Custard was too dark, so I tried Café Con Leche which seemed like the perfect shade at first. Both oxidized two shades darker, and into a peachy colour that didn't match me at all. Unfortunately, both shades were completely unusable so I had to return them.Besides the disappointing oxidization (that doesn't seem to happen to most people), this concealer is quite nice formula-wise. It is a nice consistency, blends out easily. Not too drying or matte and I haven't noticed any creasing (I’ve only used this after putting on eye cream though). I have to say that the coverage is not full enough to completely get eliminate any traces of my purple-brown under eyes, I can still see darkness peaking through. The packaging is nice and sturdy, not bulky at all. The cap of this concealer is made of the rubberized black material used for most NARS products, and it gets dirtied with fingerprints and makeup residue fast. I do think that it would be nice if the price was knocked down to $30 CAD (we can all dream). Overall, I think this is a solid concealer and I can see why it has reached holy grail status for so many people. But personally, I wasn’t able to make it work for me which was unfortunate. I would recommend this only to people who doesn’t usually have base products oxidize on them, and if you are someone like me who has all sorts of products oxidizing on their face I’d suggest trying samples first.

Every time I try a nars shadow I am always underwhelmed. Maybe my expectations need to come down....hahahaha... The matte color is more of a gray shade which I kind of like but the brighter purple doesn't work for me..

Another favorite of mine. Light coverage, perfect for creating a "no makeup" makeup look. Leaves a dewy finish, perfect base for a cream blush. I like to start on my t-zone area and work outwards, then dab a little concealer on under my eye area. Would be nice if it was a tad more pigmented, but with that said, i have re-bought this too many times to count.

This foundation is amazing! It's lightweight, medium-full buildable coverage, and it really does last all day. I have this foundation in the shade medium 4 Barcelona, and what really persuaded me to buy it initially was that it is the best colour match for my self tanner I've ever found. I apply 3 pumps of this foundation with a dense buffing brush because it is such a fluid consistency, and that gives me medium coverage. If I want a more full coverage look, after the initial layer is applied I apply 1 more pump and usually blend it on top with my fingers. Definitely do not use a sponge/beauty blender with this, it just soaks up the product. When I wear this foundation it honestly feels like I have nothing on, yet it still gives full coverage while looking like skin. I haven't had any problems with this product separating, settling into lines, and I find that it still looks perfect at the end of the day. I put this foundation to the test at a 4-day music festival where I was camping, and applying it with my hands made my skin look fresh with natural full coverage, and was conveniently quick to apply in a tent. This foundation survived through the hottest days of summer, thunderstorms, and a night where I fell asleep before taking my foundation off and still looked flawless in the morning (definitely don't recommend sleeping in makeup, but this didn't irritate my skin at all when I did)I think some of the issues people have with this is when forgetting to shake the product thoroughly before use, and not using the right tools for application. Following the Nars application recommendations for this product makes a major difference.

Heard good things about this foundation, but I’m not one that would spend this amount again on this product. Using lancome perfector and lancome la base pink tube, this product is to running and can leak if not screwed on properly. Only had a really small area of dry skin it made my face look worst then it already was made me look oily and would be patchy after 5hrs just looked really messy

This foundation has lots of positives, namely the excellent comprehensive range of shades, the pump which is hygienic and seems to dispense just the right amount of product, the finish which is not the typical flat and "lifeless" finish of long wear foundations. It melts seamlessly in the skin and does not look masky. Better to get matched at the counter - I am MAC NC15 and got two different matches, Vienna and Patagonia, which is a tad warmer and probably would have taken me easily into summer. Also better applied with fingers, on mosturised skin (it tends to cling on dry patches). Once it sinks in the skin it looks better than when just applied and flawless. It is not however, transfer proof - I powder my t-zone and I get a good wear. I am normal/combo skin with the odd hormonal breakout - I don't think this would work on oily or very dry skinWill not repurchase as it's expensive.

A pretty palette with shades mainly of pinks, shades of cream, brown, champagne and copper, and a matte deep brown that is complementing to the color scheme. It's similar in flavor to designer name 2017 warm palettes but does not have any peach/orange/terracotta AT ALL - this is a true warm pink palette. The closest I have is the Clinique pink chocolate quad or the Tarte tartelette flirt or maneater. There are a few shades in this that show up in "terracotta" palettes such as the Tarte tartelette toasted, Urban Decay naked heat, or ABH MR, with ABH MR having the most pink similarities. The palette itself is made of a sturdy plastic with a full-sized mirror and instead of a mirrored outer lid, the graphics are printed on. It is smaller in size than the Nars loaded, yet it has the same amount of product. To give a better idea of its size, the outer box of the wanted palette is the same size as the loaded palette without a box (I am storing my wanted palette in its box because of this as I like how it looks in my mu drawer). A few YouTube reviewers mentioned difficulty in opening it the first few times, and I agree it is tricky, so use caution so nothing bad happens (like dropping it). The first time I opened it I accidentally got a finger in shade "fallen star", the antique bronze shade so i swiped it on my inner arm. All of the color transferred from my finger onto my arm and it was almost like transferring a sticker - no fallout whatsoever. I have no idea if it's supposed to be the same formula as the loaded palette, Nars boasts the wanted formula to be "all-new pure pigment", but the few times I have used it, it applies similar in that I feel I can touch the pan, dab a little, blend a little, and get a good look that only looks better as the day goes on. I did not get any fallout when applying (I tapped off extra from the brush) and had no creasing or shifting of any shimmer particles. I had a little issue with my primer on the first go, I use smashbox 24 hour and I was sloppy putting it on, which caused my shadow to grab in places and apply funny. Another application attempt of just shadow over my foundation proved successful, but I didn't get into the super shimmery shades that day.Overall I really like this palette, I feel it's a welcome offering of true pink in a sea of warm orange/terracotta toned palettes. I have blue-grey eyes and the orange tones look nice, but is a little hard to pull off sometimes, so I declare the wanted palette to be a "grown up" warm palette, just like I describe the loaded palette, yet there's those glitters that give some dazzle without looking like a unicorn smashed into my face. The only downfall is it being a bit more expensive than above mentioned similar palettes. I give it a star off because of the price and because it's a bit difficult to open.

This is probably my new favourite liquid lipstick! It's a very thin consistency, but quite opaque. The colour selection is nice, but i do hope the range gets expanded more in the future. I got the shade "Don't Stop" and it's simply the perfect red for me. I wore it to Disneyland, and it held up almost perfectly throughout the entire day. (Loads of eating and drinking!) I did reapply once that day, but only because my lipliner was a hot mess by early evening. (I used Milani in True Red, wouldn't recommend!) On me, it isn't drying, however, my lips aren't very dry, and i always prep with a lip balm. One thing to note is that it does transfer, but it doesnt look like it has. The lips look the same. Another thing is the applicator. It is very thin and pointy. A lot of people love it, and can forego a liner, but i personally find it a bit difficult to use. It definitely takes practice. Nars does have a matching lipliner for each shade though, which is convenient, albeit expensive. I did end up purchasing the matching liner, Porquerolles, recently, and its lovely. All in all, it's a wonderful liquid lipstick, and i would highly recommend! Pros: lightweight you can barely feel it on the lips great lasting power beautiful packaging good colour selection not drying (on me,anyways.) Cons: transfers applicator is difficult to use (imo) pretty expensive
