Freshwater is a bright vivid ocean blue but with a fancy look (opposing to Mac electric eel). Has shimmery finish, it is easy to apply, easy to blend and has good color pay off. I personally like to pair it up with Mac deep truth for a very fancy smoky look. It is best worn by people with brown eyes, and for fair skinned people it looks far better than electric eel.

A nice bold summer tone. It is very vibrant, has a good color payoff and you'll get on your lids exactly what you see in the pan. Because it is so brigthly pigmented, it can be a little hard to blend with other colors, despite it's a satin, it really feels as matte. I also think this colour looks better in tan/dark skinned people. For a bright blue for fair skinned people I personally prefer mac freshwater.

This is a MUST HAVE for girls with brown eyes! It will sure make your eyes pop! It has good color pay off and a frosty finish with a slight glimmer. It is perfect for a smoky eye look and because is a dark blue, it can be paired with a wide range of colors in different spectrums too! I pair it with Mac passionate and a neutral lipstick for a night out and it really stands out so fine. Because it is such a glam color, I advise to wear it at night only. I am not bold enough to wear it in a everyday basis.

I like gesso a lot, it has good payoff colour, good consistency, it is applied evenly, but sadly, it tends to fade off real quick unlike carbon. I took one lippie of it because of the fading. It is very good to illuminate the inner corners of your eye and for a white and black eyeshadow look (specially if it's paired with carbon)

A must have! A true black eyeshadow that stays forever no matter how much you sweat and cry lol. You have to be carefull while aplying it tough, because it is super pigmented and may make you look like a vamp (unless you're a goth, of course, in this case go for it) If applied with a fluffy brush it makes the perfect sexy smoky eye!

I have tried a lot of mac eyeshadows (I am a mac big fan) and this one is the worst. It has absolutelly NO color payoff. You can't build it up because the more you try, the more it will fade away. It is impossible to work with it, not with a brush, nor with a sponge and even less with your fingers. Wearing primer doesn't make any difference because the color simply refuses to stay. Too bad is a beautifull color in the pan. I would give it a zero, but I can't, so I gave one lippie. I hope mac will improve this shadow formula in the future.

It is a sheer tone but still, you can add layers of this eyeshadow to make it look an opaque, true purple eyeshadow. It is versatile because of it's sheerness, you can use it for a slightly purple in your eyes and go to work or build it up and make it a party look. I will definitely repurchase, it's a beatifull tone.

This is the one when it comes to foundation for me. This makes my skin look the prettiest out of any other powder foundation I've ever used. It stays on the longest as well. I've been using this powder since I was 15 so literally 18 years lol. I always try different ones, and the only one that comes close is the Kat Von D power foundation, but MAC C3 is the closest to my light-medium, yellow under toned skin. I also like the coverage it gives when I set my under eye concealer. Most other powders don't add much coverage, but I have super dark circles, and I want full coverage in that area. I apply it with a kabuki brush because I think it's the best way for this product. It helps me get the coverage I want without making my face look cakey. For the under eye area I use the sponge. The only things I don't like are that it contains Talc, which is a controversial product, and that it does transfer. I've had a few embarrassing moments when hugging someone lol, but because it makes me look good quickly, I think I will always keep buying this.

NC20 neutral olive skin here, brown eyes. I really like this eyeshadow - it's the second Extra Dimension eyeshadow from Mac that I own (the other one is A Natural Flirt). These look super-metallic in the pan, but translates as sheer shimmer on the skin. I would describe the color as rose bronze with a coffee-and-milk base color. It's easy to use as a wash of color all over the lid and give it a glow, which makes up for an easy everyday look. It's a color that is easy to use sheer or build it up - it depends on which rush you use. It's not a unique color, but it's one I just happen to really like. I can't say that it is "more dimentional", IMO, than other shimmery MAC shadows, which can be a little disappointing, because the way they look is quite mesmerizingThe texture of this particular color is slightly stiff, but it's not chalky - just slightly difficult to pick up, but I'm OK with that. As most MAC shadows, it lasts a long time. One think I don't particularly enjoy about the Extra Dimension line though is: the shadows are not packed into a pan, but are attached directly to the bottom of the plastic container, thus: no depotting. I'm not mad about the packaging, but I would like to have the option to buy this in a pan - a pro pan would lower the cost, and one could actually store this in a palette, and save the environment some plastic packaging. This is why I give it 4 starts; otherwise, I really, really like it

Okay 5 lips this product is amazing! I have always always struggled with nasty chapped lips and I mess with them when they're dry on top of it all so they are UGLY lol. Anyway, this product, sure its expensive, however, if you have extremely dry lips it is 100% worth the money. I hate products that don't do their job, especially ones that are so expensive. If I am telling you to get it, get it!

I have normal/dry skin and this powder in shade NW15.
I don’t find this powder really does anything. I use it to set my liquid foundation but it doesn’t prolong its wear and doesn’t offer any extra coverage despite being labelled a foundation. I think it’s super expensive for what it is and I wouldn’t buy it again.

Definitely my HG. I've tried everything out there that's even close to this and it works best for me. I'm oily in my tzone and dry elsewhere.

I hit pan today so I’m writing a review.Today I went to MAC repurchase this and studio fix powder. I love this sooooooo much! Picked up a new color too in gingerly which will look great once summer Comes. Matte, wears the entire day, probably fades on me in the 11-12th hour mark. A pretty earthy pink flush. So pretty.I’m a MAC N3, brunette

I can’t believe I avoided this for years due to reading that this breaks people out!In fact, I tried this because my dermatologist use this herself and she always looked polished , she gave me the ok after I expressed by doubts based on reviews I’ve heard about. I went straight out to buy it! I LOVE IT. It’s like magic, it’s so quick, I look good, fresh and it stays that way all day. Definite holy grail !! I’m onto my 5th repurchase now. My skin is extremely break out prone skin, clogged prone skin, some fine lines and dry patches near the eyes, Combination/oily T zone, also acne prone. UghFoundation is the most important step of my whole makeup routine. Im rarely without it, and so I’ve tried a ton, I’ve found that powders work best at keeping my skin problem free, worst being stick foundations. This looks beautiful alone, covers up my imperfections and makes me look so good and poreless. It keeps me matte, natural and flawless. Doesn’t cling onto the dry patches around my eyes. In winter I do set it with Fix+ if My skin feels dryer. I would not recommend this if you have severely dry skin though. In the summer I’ve set it with urban decay’s all nighter sometimes, but it lasts a Long time on its own as well. I think this is the only foundation that wears beautifully the longest for me. It’s just so simple quick and easy. I love the ease of use, and there’s no sacrifice in the finish despite quick application.N3 perfect match for the winter, n4 is too dark on me, I warm it up with hoola in the summer. It does oxidize on me, however n3 is ever so slightly pale on me, but matches my skin tone after it oxidises in 2-3hours. I’ve used this for a Long time now without a single break out or any thing wild. Doesn’t clog my pores either, however I always be sure to remove it clean. I wash this at the end of the day with clinique’s take the day off cleansing balm, followed by Estée lauder’s Perfectly clean cleanser. I also wash the round sponge thoroughly, and if I’m lazy I use the ones I can replace easily. If I could only pick one makeup item I can have for the rest of my life, this would seriously be it. Followed by blush in blushbaby. it’s knocked out my previous love, Estée lauder’s double wear, which turns a tad orange on me but lasts all day, and it felt a little dryer, and was just a pinch heavy/cakey. Love love love this. Pro tip, if you are much too lazy like I am and prone to clogging and breakouts, I use the wedge sponges from Sally’s, toss each one out ( repurpose for craft projects, don’t hate on.) every week.
