I have to start by saying that even though this is specifically meant for bearded guys, I tried it because I heard great things about it being a nice cleanser for girls as well. So, this review will be about my experience with it as a cleanser, not the beard wash it was meant to be. I'll have to pass it on to my boyfriend to see if it works as it should. As for me, I was not impressed. It comes in a tub, which is fine, and smells pretty good, like sweet citrus. It feels really smooth, which I didn't like. I like to feel some kind of exfoliant when I wash my face, even if it's super light. With this, I felt like I was just rubbing a thick hair conditioner over my face (which makes sense if you remember that this is meant for beards).I've been using it for about a month. Once in the morning when I shower, and again at night after I've removed my make-up. I wet my face and rubbed this all over then rinsed it off. I did feel like it cleaned my skin, but not as well as other cleansers. There were a few times where it left my face feeling a little itchy, and other times where it left behind dry/dead skin. It just wasn't a good match for me. I'll be sticking to LUSH's Dark Angels for now.I think it's worth trying if you're still searching for something, since everyone is different, but I won't be buying it again.

Creamy Candy is a lovely sweet scented bubble bar from Lush which smells like candy (obviously), bubblegum and vanilla. The scent is strong and lingers on the skin for some time after bathing. Creamy Candy also turns the bathwater a bright shade of pink, which is great. It creates bubbles, but the bubbles are not as plentiful as from other Lush bubble bars, however it is still enough bubbles for a regular size tub. The bubbles last a long time also, which is great. I only use half a bar at a time, which is great as this is one of Lush’s cheaper bath products and is great value for money. I would definitely repurchase this bubble bar and would recommend it to anyone who love sweet scents.

I wanted to love this for all obvious reasons - it’s eco friendly and smells divine - but it made my hair terribly unmanageable. I was told I had to try it a few times in order to get my hair used to it, but it just made it more and more frizzy. Maybe this shampoo is just not the best thing for thick, frizzy hair, or maybe I just didn’t give it enough time, but it just didn’t work for me.

As it's plain to see from the ingredients list on this product this thing is a BOMB. It will get rid of most of the oil in your face - EVEN the oil that you NEED, so beware. This is the rare Lush skincare product that I've found actually works as advertised, probably a little better than wanted, in fact. Maybe it was my fault for not following the instructions given to me by the Lush staff, but I used it twice a day for maybe 10 days and it *changed* my skin type semi-permanently, from oily/combo to combo/dry (it's just now returning to a status similar to the original). I didn't even know that was possible, but there you go.Would recommend against using this as a daily cleanser unless you're super oily, but as an alternate cleanser or as a localized treatment for spots/shiny areas, it's great.

Used this for almost two years straight, every day. I'll say this for Herbalism, it never broke me out, unlike Angels on Bare Skin, nor it sucked my skin dry like Fresh Farmacy, and works as a mild scrub, which I enjoy. Other than that, like most Lust skincare products it doesn't do much, so you can get away with using it if your skin is agreeable enough and if you like the whole fair trade/environmentalist brand image cultivated by Lush but don't expect it to revolutionize your skin. Luckily I don't need a lot of heavy lifting when it comes to my skincare products, as a result of my normal/combo skin. Went in for my first facial after using it for years and my beautician confirmed that it had done little for my skin. For the price you'll be better off buying a basic drugstore cleanser, and it may do more for your pores than Herbalism. Also, the smell is a little pungent but you definitely get used to it.

This perfume is my HG. I used to fake-love Shalimar (I was trying to fit in with a crowd I didn't really like, and wearing Shalimar seemed to make them accept me - bad reason to buy an expensive perfume) but after realizing I actually hated it to the hilt, I decided to go back to my virgin love - Vanillary. I adore vanilla in all forms: I love it fresh, gourmand, floral, whatever. I just love vanilla. And this just wraps that love up and puts a ring on it. I used to have Vanillary in a solid form, and so I decided to go for the big bottle. I am so happy that I did. When you first spritz it on, it opens into a very fresh vanilla, I'd say 'cool smelling' (I don't know perfume terms, I'm sorry!) and makes me want to keep smelling it to see how it develops. It quickly (within 10-20 minutes) dries down into a more buttery, warm smell with definite undertones of tonka bean. The jasmine seems to 'float' on the top of the smell, almost like the high notes of a song (I don't know what I'm saying, lol). Anyway, the combination of warm and cool intertwine and make something absolutely definitely undeniably beautiful. One of the biggest reasons I love Vanillary is its vegan status. I'm vegan, and have been for years, so this is super important to me. When I was l with that crowd I didn't like, I was under so much pressure to fit in that I overrode my ethics and bought Shalimar anyway (which is both tested on animals AND uses musk in it's ingredients). I'm in a different place now, and my beliefs are much more deeply rooted. So to me, Vanillary makes me feel good. I feel like I am doing the animals a service, too.

It smells very sweet and delicious in the little jar it comes in but once you take it to your hands, the scent turns ’rotten’ almost immedietly. You really have to work it in there fast, and I always have to wash my hands after touching this product, not because my hands feel sticky but because they smell terrible. It was very expensive and I would not be buying this again, mainly because the scent problem makes it very unpleasant to use.

H'scan Wen Hua is a great hair treatment. I was advised to use the whole pot on my hair, but I definitely disagree that you need to use that much. I simply a small scoop between my fingers, warm it up a little so it melts down, and then run it through my pony tail. For perspective, I get around 4 uses from a large Lush sample pot, and my hair is mid-back length. I only apply from the mid-lengths to ends (the length of my ponytail). I leave it on for around 15-20 minutes before hopping in the shower and shampooing and conditioning as normal. I definitely see a difference when I use this compared to when I don't. Post-shower, my hair feels smoother and is easier to comb through. When it dries, it is sleeker and less frizzy/flyaway and also more shiny. It doesn't negatively effect my hair colour whatsoever. I don't mind the scent of this product - to me it smells slightly like bananas and cinnamon. I find the smell doesn't linger in my hair, as my shampoo and conditioner cover it with their own scent. I have repurchased this twice product (the pot lasts me AGES - please don't waste this by using it once!!!!). I will definitely continue to repurchase it.

I've heard about this product for years and finally decided to try it. Ultra Bland is essentially cold cream cleanser, and that is what I wanted. Normally I use Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser, but UB sounded so decadent, I decided to take a chance. I ordered it directly from the LUSH website. It arrived quickly and in good shape. The packaging is almost like heavy duty paper or ultra thin plastic. It reminds me of a very small cottage cheese container with a lid that happens to screw on. Evidently, this is better for the environment. If you collect five of these and take them to a LUSH store, you get something free. I don't think it's a free UB though. It's something cheaper. It's still a perk, though. UB also smells divine, as most LUSH products do. That's where the perks end, though.UB takes forever to remove. You can't tissue it off like Ponds. It's so thick and sticky, it rips the tissue. A hot wash cloth is required. It's not a biggie, but using tissues is a nice option when you travel. Even with the hot wash cloth, it's hard to remove. The Ponds breaks down quickly taking everything with it. The UB requires a lot of massaging and several go overs with the wash cloth. When you're done there is a film left on the face, that I don't get with the Ponds. If I'm not meticulous with removal, I develop clogged pores. It's also $30.00 dollars. I can get a huge jar of Ponds for less than $10.00 dollars. Basically, this isn't the product for me. It's okay, but I wouldn't buy it again. I suggest getting a trial size from a LUSH store first if possible. It's always good to try before you buy!

Not great value at all (was directed to use the entire pot - and I did need the whole thing for my very thick dry hair - but the SA also directed my friend who has chin length, not dry hair to use the whole pot) had minimal moisturising effect even though I followed instructions to the letter. The smell is very... pungent, but I would have been willing to look past hat if this had any effect.Would not repurchase.

Smells fabulous and great ingredients, but why the corn oil??! This leaves a film that simply isn't good for your skin. I used up my jar but made to sure follow up with my regular cleanser every time I used it.I much prefer an exfoliant like my favorite Derma-E Microdermabrasion Cream. Sorry, LUSH.

This is literally the only cleanser that helps my sensitive skin. I suffer from eczema and have a lot of dryness, redness, and irritation on my face. I discovered this product a couple of years ago and it's been virtually the only cleanser that I use. For the last couple of months I haven't had access to purchase it, so have not used it for a while. And let me tell you, I have had some of the worst flare ups, rashes, and irritation on my face that I've had in a long time. But yesterday I finally was able to get Aqua Marina from Lush and after 1 day I already see a huge difference in my skin. Less redness, some of the red bumps around my eyes and mouth are going away, and my complexion looks improved. I highly, highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from eczema or has very sensitive skin. Also, it seem to keep my skin clear of breakouts as well!

Aimed towards bearded men but definitely a good cleanser for the beardless as well!! I use this as an AM facewash, it doesn’t foam but cleans very well. Smells nice & fresh, you don’t need a lot (the small pot lasts ages) and it (very gently) exfoliates thanks to pineapple enzymes. I’m used to strong acids so the exfoliating part doesn’t really do anything for me but it’s probably goodfor people who want to dip their toe in a bit of gentle exfoliation.

Okay- theres very few products that i can hand on heart say have surprised me but this is one. Usually lush products break me out but thought I’d give it a try as I saw a youtube video that seemed convincing.I use this serum bar every other night, I have a silver tin from Lush to keep it in as it doesn’t come with any. It lives on my bedside table and I literally slather it all over my face before I go to sleep. The consistency is greasy and quite thick but I use loads of it and rub it in very slightly. The bar itself melts with body heat which is a bit strange to get used to.Anyway, without fail, I wake up the next morning with plump, baby soft skin that looks really smooth. Being prone to spots I was really nervous about using this but it is so soothing and gentle on the skin. It just adds hydration and sooths any redness. You need this serum bar in your life!! I have had one bar at least three months.

Hey there! This is another item which was influenced by this site. I pair it with the soak and float bar. Perfect combination of fragrance, hydration and cleanliness! I'm in my 40's and have some grey hairs. Said hairs are not the same texture as the others. This conditioner leaves my hair so silky! I had ordered the smallest bottle, just in case things didn't work out between us. I will definitely be purchasing the big bottle! I paid $20.95 /8.4 fl oz. Not sure if this is the same as the in store price, as I've never been to a Lush store. However, I do plan on making a trip and incorporating a little Lush shopping! Side note - my curl pattern seems a bit relaxed, but have used this only twice. Will continue use of these products unless my scalp decides to disagree. I am thankful that I am able to afford these, as I have definitely had times in my life where that wouldn't be possible.
