This is one of Lisa Eldridge's favourite mascaras. She has used it a lot in her videos and I totally understand why. It really does everything- length, volume, curl, separation, waterproof. The tapered brush really allows you to coat every lash. I've learned how to use it properly because sometimes it does get clumpy if you aren't careful. One side of the brush contains more product than the other side. So you will need to go over the lashes with the cleaner side to avoid it getting clumpy. The formula is great too- it has a perfect consistency, not too wet not too dry. It's also very inky black too. My only rant about it is that it's hard to find- not all retailers sell it. Myer here in AU doesn't sell the waterproof version. I've only seem to find it at Mecca Maxima. And also the waterproof version isn't available in the US which is strange because everything else is available in waterproof. I believe doll eyes waterproof mascara is really underrated (no one talks or raves about it) and I'm glad Lisa Eldridge loves it because it's less likely to be discontinued (well that's what I think). It's been on the market since like 2011 and I think it deserves to be a cult classic like the original hypnose. Update: Still like it but I do prefer Lancôme grandiose waterproof mascara more. The doll eyes waterproof mascara does indeed dry out really fast as stated by the other reviewer, 2 months and it turning pretty dry but still performing well. Also I find it runs out very quickly too, it feels like there's nothing in the tube, it's only 6.5ml which explains why it runs our so fast. I find applying 1 coat first, then wait about 15 seconds or do the other eye, then go back for the 2nd coat really works to build it up without it clumping so much. Anyway I still like this mascara, it's one of the best waterproof mascara I tried for my Asian lashes, will still repurchase.

I’ve used every long wearing foundation on market incl double wear, color stay, Kat Von d, cover girl outlast, pro longwear, Bobbi brown, the new Chanel Long wear (2nd best) and more. I need transfer proof some days and long wear I have allergies always blow nose sweat etc. Just started wearing white cuz I’m a slob and stains are pet peeve and foundation marks are the worst. I only like liquids. Bare minerals worst nightmare it makes my tinyyy pores like craters and MAC powder plus dries me out plus too matte and doesn’t look good generally. Others mentioned have other faults like simply wear off on my tissue/clothes, fade, or look weird eventually like mottled for an example. I use a non silicone primer moisturizing since longwear makeup’s seem to have a lot in them anyway and it slides off greasy. I know they say to pair silicone with same and Vice Versa but not for me. Shade I got for now (nw25 & may get a little darker) was 390 bisque cool. It is dark but summer is coming! I apply usually w fingers and make touch ups w beauty blender and after it dries lightly place tissue to catch excess. I ‘partied’ for 24 hrs the other day and besides slight under eye mascara mark at 11 am next morn, face was impeccable. Kat Von d was what I thought I was after but I thought I’d try a few for my bffs wedding coming up in summer where I’ll cry, sweat, and be photographed since I’m a bridesmaid. Never woulda prob looked at this one but there was nice bonus (I love their definicils mascara when I’m not doin waterproof which i usually look for since I have greasy eye area) and lady at Macys said try it return if no like. I’m not acne prone and I love scented stuff. My base was 2 Face hangover primer (multitasking as lotion yummy coconut scent) mixed w a dab of shiseido spf 42 city sunscreen I think it’s called. It dries kinda tacky so the foundation stuck to it well. (I do this w all and it never worked as well). I used Clinique apricot corrector (hg) under. I LITERALLY had makeup on for over 24 hrs and didn’t budge that whole day of trying on clothes and night of partying where there was even extra nose blowing. Heh. Couldn’t believe it. I’m sooooo glad they told me at Macys!I powdered w the white hd powder mufe like (all brands seem to make them now this one was some random Ipsy bag one). Applied my bronzer blush highlight did eye makeup lips brows and sprayed w UD all nighter (only spray that works for me). I do mascara last using the waterproof light pink big tube that L’Oreal makes (closest to my hg of better than sex). I’ve toyed around with all nighter before and never worked that well years ago hence trying like every other one in existence but either my skin changed or the UD one improved. Wow. It’s worth a sample if your struggles match mine. Combo 39-yo but good (just red) skin. All skin dif so Kat Von d may be best for some since I heard it is the best. I don’t even like her aesthetic but if a makeup works idc. I’ll keep using the Chanel (42 I think??) in new long wear and lock it but Lancôme is the wedding one. For sure.

I got 2 of these in the GWP size from the lovely Lancome counter lady and they're pretty good!GOOD POINTS:The gel consistency is lovely and it goes on REALLY easily - I slathered it on in a pretty slap-dash way and it still developed evenly. The guide colour gives you a nice glow and it's not muddy.Like all tanners, it does smell BUT the smell washes off and doesn't cling to the skin. I rinsed with just water and there was no lingering tanner scent. It doesn't stain your hands! I applied with my bare hands then washed it off with soap and water and my hands did not turn orange!NOT SO GOOD POINTS:The colour was a bit light and yellowy for me. I have very pale skin so fake tan can make me look jaundiced. For this reason I wouldn't buy the full size product as I think Xen tan gives a better brown colour to my milk-bottle legs. If the Lancome leg gel came in a slightly darker / browner colour I would switch straight away.

I was actually soo disappointed with this foundation... I wanted a high end, long wearing foundation, and I trust Lancome cosmetics because they've always been good in the past and their mascaras are my favourite. At first I tried MAC Pro Longwear which I hated.. it was soo thick and oily and I hated putting it on my face. It just felt gross, so I turned to Lancome. I had high hopes for this foundation, but it was extremely drying and oxidized like crazy! It's soo orange! There is nothing good about this foundation except that it really is long wearing, if that's what you want. It doesn't come off. It contains A LOT of alcohol, so that explains the dryness. I don't wear long wearing foundations anymore because they're too drying and matte and I have dry skin and I prefer a dewy look. I was actually shocked that this foundation is so awful! What on earth is going on Lancome?! Surprisingly it was actually pretty inexpensive, only just over $50 or something I believe (which is cheap for a high end foundation in Australia). Still love their mascaras though. If you're looking for a long wearing foundation, seriously look elsewhere... unless your skin is super oily.

I like the compact with mirror, the brush can be thrown out. I do not like pigmented blushes so I really like this subtle blush that has peachy color. It takes some product to really see the peachy color, but the shimmery is too much for me, I prefer matte blushes. I did not realize how shimmer this would be. I personally use this as eyeshadow. Perfect peachy and shimmer for eyelid.

I was super impressed with this mascara when I first applied it. It really made lashes big and volumous and did a great job separating my lashes. Only one coat is needed. They indeed looked like false lashes and I was excited. But after formula started to dry, my lashes fell. I did this mascara on one eye and Loreal lash paradise on the other. Lash paradise stayed lifted, but the Lancome side was down and straight. If your lashes have a natural curl, you will love this mascara. But if you have stubborn straight lashes, not for you.

ANOTHER UPDATE: This is now my HG. This is one beautiful foundation when you find what process for applying works for you. I use a brush and then go over it with a damp beauty sponge. The look is so satiny smooth. I can't say enough about this foundation.UPDATE: I figured out the issue before and switched primers. I used the face base primer by Bobbi Brown and it made a HUGE difference. You need to have a primer that has moisturizing properties, otherwise, the foundation doesnt have much to cling to. I got so many compliments on my skin whilst wearing this the other day, i was floored. It was like night and day! This is now in my top 5 foundation formula's. Very pretty foundation, good coverage, long lasting. The best thing about this foundation is the way it makes the skin look ...super velvety and soft. I will be purchasing again.ORIGINAL REVIEW: After months of watching reviews on this foundation, I finally decided to pick this-one over another brand I have been patiently waiting to buy. I was disappointed because there was nothing special about this foundation. I always find SOMETHING that I love about my makeup when I decide to purchase, but this did NOTHING for me. It doesn't accentuate the positives at all. I think you need perfect skin to wear this or atleast well hydrated healthy skin. I am not quite there and just recently adopted a face routine (cleanser, exfoliation, etc.) but I've come along way. In the meantime, other brands I've worn, perform way better than this one. I will give it a go one last time and if I don't feel special wearing this, its going back to Sephora. I use 14 brands of foundation and this-one was my most expensive purchase. So many Influencers raved about this but they typically have better skin than me. If you do not have perfect or near perfect skin, do not buy this foundation.

I got the free 7 day trial from sephora and had an awful/confusing experience. I have combination slightly sensitive skin, and have been gearing my routine towards trying to remove hyper-pigmentation. I mainly use natural products, I've had very good skin the last few months with almost no breakouts. My first impression of genifique was very positive, it made my skin glow like nothing I had ever tried before. It was like a strobe light on my face. The first two days were just wonderful. The third day a surgery scar on my chin from almost 14 years ago reappeared, it was dark red almost like a fresh wound. Shocked and confused, I continued to use genifique one more day while I pondered about it. The 4th day I looked up what was in genifique and was very surprised to see a total lack of scientifically proven skin beneficial ingredients. On top of that I was alarmed to see a large amount of alcohol and LYE (of all things.) I discontinued use of genifique immediately, but suffered the largest acne breakout I've had in ages the next day. After a few days without genifique my acne has gone away, and my scar is very slowly fading in redness. Just because the ingredients in here make your skin glow does not mean that this formula is good for it, seriously. And they want $78/ounce for this wth?!

Still on hunt to replace EL DW and my friend wears this. I got the Lancome Visionar serum, moisturizer, and primer. Visionar is supposed to help with pore reduction. I applied as instructed each step and applied this foundation. I do not like the fragrance of Lancome products. i tried Visionar on my hand and it felt okay, but on the face, it just burns my face. The foundation is not full coverage more medium but buildable to full. Even with Visionar primer this settled horribly into my pores. Day 2, I tried this foundation with La Base primer, still settled into pores. Day 3, with Benefit porefessional it did better. But with additional cons: - fragrance - transfers - not long lasting compared to EL DWI do love Lancome Color design lipsticks though!

After many trials and errors, I found this concealer after Dermablend discontinued one that I had been using for years. I use neutral beige which perfectly eliminates dark undereye circles. At first I was upset when a SA at Sephora told me that it was discontinued, but after visiting Lancome online I found this untrue and purchased mine at Bloomingdales. One of the things I love about this concealer is that I can dab it on and apply more if needed, set it with powder and have it last all day. It has never separated on me even after a hard workout (No face makeup when I workout, only mosturizer and under eye concealer.)

I love the idea of stick foundation. So I purchsed it in June 2017 from Debenhams with a high hope. I could apply only once or twice. Pores appeared bigger & more visible. It looked like very artificial and ashey on my skin. Had a plan to purchase Makeup forever ultra HD stick foundation. But no more. A complete Wastage of money. Sad me 😭

There are lots of shades for this foundation, which makes colour matching amazing. The foundation has good coverage and I think the price is reasonable considering it lasts so long. I wouldn't buy it again though because it looks pretty cakey and it despite being 24H doesn't last that well after a long day.

This mascara is the best!! It makes my lashes look like fake lashes - I have received so many compliments. It really lengthens and gives good volume. I noticed it can smudge a little when I am in hot and humid places on holiday, but it works fine back home! I recommend this!

I actually didn't buy this, and never will. How this review came to be, is an unfortunate situation. I did some looking up on the fragrance and was shocked to see the price, packaging and it's popularity. Maybe this review will help anyone who considers purchasing. I was getting comfortable in a movie theater, eagerly anticipating the Avengers Infinity War show about to start. A beautiful (well groomed) young lady had purchased the seat next to me. She sat down and got comfortable also. Immediately I was nauseous. The smell coming off of her was so sickeningly sweet and overwhelming, that I could barely stand it. It burned my eyes and my lungs (I smoke a pack a day, that had to be some serious stuff) and my head started to hurt pretty bad. As I said, I smoke and smells usually don't bother me. I politely leaned over and asked her, what perfume are you wearing, it's fabulous! Really, I was talking mental notes to avoid and never expose myself to this hell again. She excitedly told me, La Ve Est Belle! It's Lancome! Sexiest fragrance out right now! I love it too, doesn't take much, so go light handed! I suffered through the movie and made it out of there as fast as I could. Online, the fragrance profile actually looked like something I would like. I've always second thought buying it though. My intuition never fails me. $98 a bottle? A clear glass bottle, half full, wearing a glittery scarf, that smells like Jessica Simpson's Fancy and Brittney Spears Curious had an ugly love child that was radio active. It's bad. Stay away from it. Consider the people who have to smell you!
