Dear Lord this palette is pigmentation personified. I tried to get the original palette but I am happy it stayed sold out until I was no longer interested because this is the palette that should have been. I read extensive reviews on the original, enough to know that the quality in shadows was lacking. Well I can say from experience in using this palette for the past month that these are beautiful, pigmented, blendable shadows. The shimmers are creamy with no fallout, except for the gold in the top left corner. I had not given into the red palettes that have been coming out as of late, you know UD Heat, Smashbox Ablaze, Anastasia Modern Renaissance to name a few. But when I saw this I knew I would use all of the colors. As a woman of color, this is something everyone deeper than a MAC NC42 should have. I say that because none of the shadows are too light and ashy. You can use all of them. And the cherry on top is the matte black in the lower right corner of the palette. I will use this over and over. Very well done. I am NW45for reference. The shimmers are to die for.

I was given this palette for my birthday by my husband. After looking online at the cost, and the drama, he paid way too much. BTW, I got the new packaging.

It's typical Morphe eyeshadow, with three or four unique shades. I personally liked Jada, Hunts, Firework and Pool Party. Dupes of the shades in this palette are pretty easy to find. As a matter of fact, both Venus palettes from Lime Crime have pretty much all of these colors, except Pool Party, Jada, Royalty and Beam. Disappointed because I already have the Venus palettes.

Underwhelming. Super sweet gift from my hubby, but not much originality on the designer's part and typical Morphe performance. The packaging is just, packaging. Plain. Looks like they tried to make it match iPhones.

NEXT.

my very first morphe product ever
i usually very skeptical about morphe products, but the color selection speaks to me

i don't know about the formula of other eyeshadow from morphe
but i think these particular shadows from this palette is beautiful, easy to blend, pigmented, and creamy

from price point, it's a good deal to purchase
you got 35 shades in this palette (in which idk when will i finish this product, that's why i said i wouldn't buy this again)

color selection is versatile
you can go for basic look, neutral look, glam look, or whatever look you want to achieve

if you just like me, never ever buy any morphe product (and i heard this product is no longer listed as unlimited edition)
this product could be your first try for morphe product

packaging, i got the first release, it's those basic cardboard (i mean it's affordable for 35 shades, so i won't complain about this)

so,thumbs up for this palette

I see people complaining about the packaging but to me it's no big deal, it is a cheap quality packaging and very blah, however the shadows are beautiful and pigmented, I can't get enough of it, I been using it everyday since I bought it, the colors blend nicely, plus 38 dollars isn't bad at all for all those colors, I bought mine an Ulta and I used my 20% off coupon so I got a good deal, definitely recommend.

I really enjoy that Morphe is now at Ulta because it makes it a little easier to get my hands all over the new releases. The new Jaclyn Hill Eye Shadow Palette is definitely colorful as well as contains a new variety of shimmers, duo chromes, and mattes. This definitely contains enough shadow colors to create multiple full eye looks. I really like when a palette contains enough light, dark, shimmers, and mattes so you don't have to be reaching for other palettes to create a full look. The colors are buildable, blendable, and last all day (I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance always). My one disappointment is that it is made in china- definitely don't want to use this on your lips for that reason (not that this palette would work well for that anyway).

I don't have the largest eyelids, so this is the perfect eyeshadow brush for me. It's soft, but not too soft and picks up the perfect amount of eyeshadow. It's also great for defining the crease, which is what it's meant for. It's a cheap brush, but good quality. I have two of these and am considering buying a third one. Great brush!

I'd never even seen a Jaclyn Hill tutorial until after I'd bought one of the Jaclyn Hill palettes to see what looks she did with it, so having a particular name attached to it didn't influence my purchase or effect my overall opinion of it. I bought this palette because everyone on YouTube, Instagram and a ton of blogs, all showcased a wide variety of looks upon it's release, which I wanted to try to recreate...

This palette is impressive as it has 35 shades in, and the range of shades and finishes make it a very inclusive palette; it can be used for a variety of complete eye looks, covering every occasion, season & holiday, with a variety of shades to suit every skintone - such a major plus, with including everyone with this. I have liked the majority of looks I've done to date. The blendability is mostly good - I've noticed that layering a matte shadow over a shimmer one when shadowing the edges of the eye can be iffy to blend out. There isn't much fallout compared to the other palette from Morphe that I've used in the past. To get a good idea about the wearability of the shadows, I haven't been using eyeshadow primer with this palette and found that for the most part the pigmentation is really nice and there is no fading.

However I do have a issue with the pigmentation on the last four shades; none of them apply as dark as they look in their pans, and are a bit on the patchy side. They build up okay, but still look a bit muted. The two shimmery highlight shades are very similar, a few of the shimmery neutrals aren't hugely different and there are a few warm neutral matte shades that end up looking pretty much the same after they've been applied and blended too. I'd much prefer it if some of the close-matching neutral shades hadn't been included and the 'colour pop' bottom-left corner had been expanded a bit; I pull in a mid-tone purple matte and/or a mid-tone pink matte from elsewhere to complement the three different tones of shimmery pink and the lovely purple shimmer, so would have loved to have had a pink and lighter purple and/or lilac matte. A blue matte would also have been nice, to compliment the blue shimmer.

My big problem is that it turns out that the card with all of the shades names and their pan placement in the palette was only given to influencers (at least for non US/Canada customers), which is majorly annoying as I only bought this palette because I wanted to recreate the looks that sprang up in their thousands online around the palette's release, and now I've found that it is tricky to follow the tutorials along as most of the people just say "take shade Pukey, then Obsessed, followed by Firework", when regular customers don't have the name card and the shade names aren't printed anywhere on the palette or outer packaging in order for us to follow along. This palette is £37, so is £14 more then the usual £23 it costs for other 35 pan Morphe palettes and they've downgraded from plastic casing to card for this palette, so I think that having shade names printed underneath the pans isn't too much to ask for. Heck even getting the name card that all of the influencers got would have been welcome - Morphe don't usually name shades in their palettes, but why bother going the extra mile when the regular customer can't tell unless they go to the Morphe site and print off their own list? Seriously; Morphe had actually put up a print-off list on their site, because they're too cheap to include it with the -more-expensive-then-usual-but-has-cheaper-packaging palette, but after a few weeks they took it down again, so now we have to search Google.

[The packaging for this palette bought on the site or in Ulta stores will now be improved, with wipe-clean packaging and the shade names printed on the back of the palette - great news for Ulta customers or site customers in the US, but what about the other million plus Morphe customers in the world who have to rely on other retailers and will be stuck with the 'old' packaging?]

I'm not a fan of Morphe or Jaclyn Hill, but this is a great palette overall. The only things I dislike are:

1- color redundancy. There are too many same-ish colors, especially in the matte transition and crease shades. Also it's overwhelmingly warm toned. I wish the dupe-ish shades were cool toned transition and crease shades instead, just for variety.

2- the colors aren't labeled. I lost the little card that had the names, so I'll have to look them up to label when I depot.

3- packaging quality. No mirror, no labels, bulky and WHITE. That matte white finish is going to be a smudge-attracting nightmare if you care about the aesthetics. I'm going to depot so it's no biggie for me, but Jaclyn fans who want to preserve the palette in its original glory are NOT in for a treat.

All complaints aside, the colors are beautiful and swatch like a dream. I do not regret the purchase at all! The bright color shades are stunning. There really wasn't a dud in the whole batch when I swatched. I've only worn a few colors so far, but I have no complaints about the wear. I will get a lot of use out of this palette.

One of my favorite palettes! I love the warm, orangey/fall colors in this palette and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. I've spent money on expensive palettes that don't perform as well as Morphe. The shades in this palette are super buttery and blendable. Not at all chalky.

Makeup Brushes -Morphe -Brushes Elite Collection

Worst quality brushes I've ever tried. I regret falling for the youtube hype. These are not good brushes. The hairs look, feel and work like the £0.99 brushes you could get from eBay.
They don't even take the product, so you'll end up wasting a lot and getting 30% of it on the face. If you're lucky enough to pick some of the product, then don't expect it to any more than that. I used these brushes with VERY good products, such as ABH palletes and good foundations and they managed to make those products disgusting once applied on the face.
If you want good brushes, invest in good brands like Real Techniques, Sigma and Zoeva.

Eye Shadow -Morphe -25A Copper Spice Palette

on 10/13/2017 1:18:00 AM

So I’ve always wanted to try the famous morphe 35O palette but never got round to it because I felt 35 shadows is unnecessarily a lot and honestly will not even use all 35 shades. Plus the packaging for the 35 range is pretty bleh.

Then comes this limited edition 25 series Palette, it comes in 2 types. 25A copper spice and 25B bronzed mocha. People say 25A is more warm and 25B is more neutral. But I think they’re both pretty warm to me. I went for 25A since I preferred the colour tones more!

I’ve also wanted to try the Juvia’s place Nubian Palette for so long but never got round to it because 1. It’s always sold out 2. It’s pretty pricey for 12 pans.

So I took the plunge and bought this 25A Palette as I’ve seen good reviews and it looks so aesthetic and pretty.

The shadows are no doubt pigmented. The lighter colours aka first row don’t show up that well on swatch but they are buildable. The other 4 rows are really pigmented and easy to swatch. I’m most impressed with the metallic/ shimmer shades. They appear super pigmented on the first swipe and the colours are great, ranging from champagne pink - gold - bronze. I believe there’s plenty of looks that can be created from this Palette.

Also, it’s a good Palette and I’d recommend it to beginners who are looking to purchase their 1st eyeshadow palette. You can never go wrong with this.

Truly is worth the purchase. It is pretty reasonably priced.

Some cons is that the shadows do have some fallout. And there’s darker colours like in the last row I don’t see myself ever using, but hey it’s good to have options!

While it’s still available, it’s worth purchasing. Though if you already have similar palettes like the 35O or Juvia’s Nubian Palette, I’d skip this they basically have the same shades.

I would recommend this eye shadow palette to anyone who wants an eye shadow palette. I have purchased many popular palettes, such as Urban Decay and Tarte and they do not compare to the quality and price of this one. Most high-end eye shadow palettes have about 10-12 eye shadows and range from $40-$60 and are decent quality. This has 35 shades and is only $38. All the eye shadows blend easily and are extremely pigmented. I have used this palette at least 20 times and I have not put a dent in any of them. Also, the colors are beautiful. I have nothing but good things to say about this product. The only bad thing is the white packaging gets a little dirty, but to me that is not a real concern.

This palette is beautiful. Honestly, the pigmentation is so there. The lasting power is SO there. The smoothness and creamy consistency is again, SO there.
This palette, it speaks to me everytime I see it. When I open it, I am inspired. When I see this versus all the other makeup launches I smile at it when I look at it. And when I see Jaclyn's message to her subscribers it warms my heart that she took the time to do that. Many MUAs only care about pushing and shelling out their products and while yes, Jaclyn hasn't been consistent factually about the manufacturing about this palette, I still believe this is honestly an absolute hit. These shadows blow me away. Some of the shades however are a bit chalky and aren't as pigmented as others, however, the shades that are, just so happen to be the shades that I'll use to blend out and go up on the crease which I don't want to be as pigmented. I love this palette. This is an HG item. Yes, the price is costlier than regular Morphe products, but for the pigmentation, colors, blendability, lasting power, the message that warms my heart, the stunning colors, it's every palette out there on the market, and it's best shades in those palettes. Purchase it, it's worth every penny.
