Worst mascara I ever used. No volume, and my lashes clumped so badly.

It's been a long while since I last used brow gel/tint/mascara regularly. When I was younger I'd dye my hair fun colours, bleach my eyebrows and colour them back in. I didn't like ABH because the tints then were super matte, wet, goopy, and harsh looking. MAC brow set was decent if I took half the product off the wand first. Drugstore variations were a joke because they all looked orange. There weren't great options. Now we're spoiled for brow products, which is great, because my brows are going grey so fast that if I keep plucking them I'll have barely any left. This brow "mascara" (seems like a weird distinction but it makes sense) has stellar reviews and they're well deserved. I picked up a few colours due to lack of faith at the drugstore, chocolate, brunette, and espresso. Chocolate seems like a decent colour for someone with auburn hair. Brunette is neither too warm nor too ashy, being a yellow leaning brown it would suit a wide range of brunettes or dark blondes. Espresso is great for beyond a level 5 brunette, it's deep brown without being harsh or leaning green. My hair sits at about a 5 or 4 right now since it hasn't been highlighted in years, and espresso suits me best, even with sun deprived winter skin. The formula is neither too dry nor too wet. There were no clumps to tidy up afterward and I didn't have to wipe any excess off the brush. I could press a little to get some onto my skin, filling in any small patches easily enough. It didn't result in an unnatural block brow look. When I checked my makeup in the mirror later I'd completely forgotten that it was on, it didn't look like makeup at all, just more symmetrical youthful brows (which is exactly what I want from my makeup on the day-to-day).I'm very impressed. I was going to splurge on boy brow but it looks gloopy in the photos and the reviews indicate that it clumps so I'm sticking with this one.Edit: I bought mine at SDM Canada, they were on sale for $5, regular about $10.

I like this primer for use under powder mineral foundations. I have tried several and this one seems to work the best (next is nivea shave balm) at giving the foundation the most staying power. I've tried it with It Cosmetics and Bare Minerals and it works well with both...maybe a little better with Bare Minerals but that may just be that my skin adapts better to BM. I do not like the packaging for this primer though. It's messy and a royal pain in the @$$ to deal with. A pump would be so much better. But it's not a deal breaker. I will keep buying it. I may even invest in a bottle with a pump to transfer it over to.

I have this in the shade Fire (bright red), and while it's pigmented and all, it starts cracking not too long after it dries. Pretty distracting.

I love this primer! It makes my makeup budgeproof, creaseproof, and increases color payoff. My shadow always creases after a few hours at work, but with this primer, it looks virtually the same as it did when I applied it. It works for cream, powder, and foiled shadows. My usage tip is that a little goes a long way and to set it with some residual translucent powder before going in with shadow - it makes it much easier to blend that way.

Bought this in "Lavender Lust." It's a nice consistency, a pale pinkish lilac shade, and the shimmer isn't too much, but I find I just don't reach for it. I prefer my Nars Orgasm swivel-up stick. Younger skins, particularly deeper toned than my NC25, might find this more flattering.

The formulation isn't highly pigmented but the texture is nice and it doesn't smear. I tried this in "Chocolate" which is a misnomer, since it's more of a brownish-cocoa shade than a dark brown. Too dark-orangey for me (my HG is anything Anastasia in Taupe). If you can find a shade that works for you, it's a good drug store alternative to the high-end stuff.

I picked this up to try as a cruelty-free dupe for NARS Orgasm blush. It's pretty close! And I can't believe the price point - I got it on sale on the NYX site for $3.Pros: Super affordable. Really nice color. Very pigmented - this is going to last for-ev-er.Con: Hard to blend (paired with how pigmented it is - you have to work with it a little).

I have been struggling to find a good concealer that's also a good price (college budget woooo).I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I am obsessed with it. I have dry skin and this makes my skin looks so pretty and dewey. I find the coverage to be really good as well. I don't have many break outs, but it covers my redness and makes my skin look literally flawless. I put it on my chin, nose, under eyes, forehead and cheeks. I think this is my new holy grail.

I have only tried two of these lid tints before: Mon Amour and Revel. The texture of both of these is the same: an easy-to-spread mousse. I like that these don't set immediately after they are applied, which makes it quite easy to blend these out. Usually, I'll apply this to my eyes with the applicator - one eye at a time - and spread it using my finger on the upper eyelid and a small domed brush on the lower eyelid. Longevity-wise, the Lid Lingeries do fade a little during the day when I don't use primer, but it's an acceptable amount of fading for me, as I usually use them for quite simple looks. However, if I want them to last all day, I need a primer. I have non-hooded eyes, normal skin on my eyelids, and this shadow doesn't really crease on me during the day when not wearing a primer - that's good! I haven't tried that many cream shadows, but the ones that I can compare the Lid Lingeries to are the Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting Cream Eyeshadows - they are about the same in both consistency and wear time. However, the NYX cream eyeshadow is quite much easier to remove - it comes off with almost any kind of soap and waterI really like the color of Mon Amour - it's a greige with lilac undertones one me. On my NC20 neutral olive skin and brown eyes, this is a very flattering color. With my coloring, I can't really wear purple eyeshadow - it makes me look tired and washed out, somehow, but if the purple is very slight, it looks great. This Lid Lingerie is very close in color to one of my favorite MAC eyeshadows: Copperplate. Unfortunately, it recently got discontinued, which is very unfortunate, as there are plenty of other MAC shadows that are far inferior in quality :/I would recommend the Lid Lingeries - they are good quality and easy to work with. As long as you work with one eye at a time, I think many people would find these quite easy to apply; these are definitely some of the more beginner-friendly shadows that exist

If you're looking for a unique and affordable lip gloss look no further than the Nyx Duo Chromatic Lip Gloss. This gloss is a pigmented yet not overly sticky or gritty gloss that comes in 10 different duo chrome shades with pearlescent finishes. I picked up four different shades of this gloss and found that some are more sheer than others, but all of them have a beautiful finish and are long lasting. If you want to prolong the wear of your lip color and add some shine this gloss is a great options. They so transfer as most glosses tend to, but even with that, the wear time of these are beautiful. i am definitely going to go pick up a few more shades because this gloss is bomb!Check out my blog for some swatches below:http://www.treceefabulous.com/2018/02/nyx-professional-makeup-duochromatic.html

However, the NYX cream eyeshadow is quite much easier to remove - it comes off with almost any kind of soap and water The reason I give this 3 lippies is the color. It is a beigy nude, which wanted to be only slightly darker than my skin tone, and to cancel out any blotchiness on my eyelids. I expected this to be more of a nude on me, but it translates, on my NC20 neutral olive skin as an orangy-pinky nude, with a slight greige undertone. I don't think I look good with ANYTHING pale orange or pink on my eyes - it doesn't go well with my skin tone and my brown eyes. The color isn't really that different from what you see through the packaging, but this subtle color change makes this eyeshadow look bad on me, IMO.I would recommend this shadow - it is good quality and easy to work with. However, this particular color is not for me, although I can imagine people ho don't have a problem with orange or pink hues would love this

Great eyebrow pencil. The point is very small, which helps in filling in the fine hairs, and I like that it comes with a spoolie on the other side. The retractable pencil however always comes with the problem of you can't get the very last bit of it. Also don't think it stays particularly well. I have really oily skin around my eyes so lots of products don't stay on for a long time. P.S. the "chocolate" is a little on the reddish side.

I got this in "gunmetal". It was too watery, and not very well pigmented. I'm curious if the other colors are better.

I absolutely love the contour end, great colour for my fair skin, blends easily even over powder and can be intensified for night time . The highlight end is rubbish, you can’t even see it on the skin it’s completely pointless! I hope they read the reviews and drop the highlight end and sell this just as a contour only
