Mascara -Clinique -High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara

I got a free sample of this at Sephora and I hate it. I wish I'd never put it on. This stuff won't come off! It is now day 3 and after washing with soap and water, using cold cream, and eye makeup remover, it's STILL on my lashes and I wake up in the morning with smudges under my eye. I also had about 4 lashes fall out. This mascara made my lashes stiff and brittle and like I said, some FELL OUT. I have normal lashes that are long and I've been told I have a lot, but after wearing this mascara I think more have fallen out then I thought. I'm literally about to cry. I usually just wear L'Oréal or Cover Girl mascaras and they work wonderfully, and now I really regret trying this mascara.

Lipstick -Clinique -Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick - Berry Blush 415

Love this super-rich formula. Berry Blush is plummy beige MLBB shade. I'm finding that as I age the shimmer is not as flattering, but I really like the formula. It's very soft, doesn't last long, but the shades are pretty.

Cleansers -Clinique -Liquid Facial Soap - Mild

foto

I was recommended by my grandmother who worked as a pharmacist in a cosmetic company. She said Clinique's one of the product who use high quality ingredients in the market. I have been using their liquid facial soap for about 3 years now. I have oily and sensitive skin. I get acne sometimes but that's quite rare. I live in a tropical country where the wheather is either hotter than sahara or its raining cats and dogs.

Honestly, first months after you converted to this product you will not notice any visible result .I was using L'oreal laser perfect sth facial foam and was doing fine with it, but I decided to see what's the fuss about this thing. I didnt have any break out nor have my face oil free. I'm still as slick as ever and I still get black heads and whiteheads. However, after few years I got bored and decided to experiment with other facial cleanser. Oh boy how it's a mess.

I practically break out of every facial cleanser I bought. The moment I use drugstore facial cleanser, on that same day my whole face raided with painful acnes. My skin gets so "thirsty" and mini bumps with puss grows. I have tried their mildest but apparently clinique spoiled my skin lots. I could only wash my face with LUSH's bar. By the time I went back to clinique my face calmed down in just 3 washes. I didnt need to use any of their anti acne line and my acne just disappeared and my skin felt plump again.

I had tried another clinique's facial foam in which i forgotten the name, but i broke out quite badly from that one too. I guess I'll be sticking to this one for a while. My verdict is I guess you get what you pay. And it is a quite good deal looking at what normal drugstore cleanser does to me. It provides your skin with proper ph, hydration, and cleansing. This product do not promise you with superficial enticing results but it promise to keep your skin in mint condition.

Treatments (Face) -Clinique -Smart Custom repair serum

I feel like the "smart" serum is trying to do too many things - thus not that effective on any of the fronts it's trying to tackle. I like Clinique Turnaround serum a lot more, It doesn't promise to reduce fine lines but unlike this one, it really delivers when it comes to radiance. The Smart serum is not worse than a lot of serums with similar claims in the same price range but I'd rather try something else before repurchasing it.

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique -Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent

Sad news. This stuff pretty much sucks. I recieved this as a gwp and I am still disappointed! This doesn't work well at all.

Thankful it doesn't sting and that it's unscented, but this is only marginally better than water? I'm not even talking about waterproof mascara here, just regular eye makeup.

$24 for 4 oz. of this is insane. I have been soaking my rounds and not seeing much removal.

I will be glad to see the end of this 2 oz. Gwp size I have and to back to my Garnier micellar. More effective, more product, much cheaper.

Lips -Clinique -Pop Lip Shadow Cushion Lip Powder - Dune Pop

on 11/18/2017 7:46:00 PM

This must be one of the worst makeup products I ever tried. I mean it. I hate matte l/s, but I remember eons ago there was a powder l/s that was not bad. So I decided to give this a try. Bad mistake.

This is a ... I'm not quite sure what this tries to be. It's not a powder. It's not a lipstick. It's a very dry, putty-like substance that goes on dry (even over lip balm), clumpy, patchy and unflattering. I got Dune Pop, believing it was a nude color. It's not nude. It's dead. It's a grayish, mauvish brown, flat and unattractive, that makes me look like I'm dying from hypothermia. Really ugly. I never throw away the receipt. This time I did, so I tried to make this work by mixing it with other lip stuff, but everything I tried failed. So I suppose I'm stuck with this dud. I'll just can it. There's twenty smackers I'll never see again. Shoot.

Liquid -Clinique -Beyond Perfecting Foundation & Concealer

on 11/18/2017 3:20:00 AM

foto

I have been searching for my holy grail foundation and I can tell you this is it.
PROS:
- flawless medium-full coverage more on the full side (only need two dunks of the bottle)
- Lasts all day, I can get 16 hour wear out of this without it wearing off
- I find that for some reason it oxidises a tad lighter if that makes sense?
- AMAZING in flash photography
- looks flawless until the minute I take it off

CONS
This isn’t necessarily a con, but the packing is okay not the best but I think it suits the forumula well

I’d give this a 110/100 if I could for the actual product.

Moisturizers -Clinique -Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

on 11/18/2017 12:30:00 AM

I have combination skin, and some rosacea on my cheeks that seems to be getting flakier this winter. I decided to try this product and I'm glad I did - my skin is also pretty sensitive where the rosacea is so I prefer products without fragrance. This seems to be helping a lot so far, and I bought a small size so I am almost out. Planning on going to Ulta in the next week to re-purchase, and I'm thinking of trying the mask in this line as well. I wonder if it's a bit heavy for my nose and chin, which are fairly oily, but it's worth the amount it has been helping my cheeks. I may try something lighter on my oilier areas in the future, I'm not sure yet. All in all, I do recommend this product.

Moisturizers -Clinique -Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

I've been using it for a week now as a daily moisturizer and I have to say:
-It is suitable for combination to oily skin, choose something else if your skin is dry.
-It is perfect for a primer before foundation.
-It does make the skin look better and fresher.
-The jar doesn't bother me because I can see anytime how much I have left.
-It contains silicon so don't buy it you are not a fan of silicons.
-Generally good value for money but don't expect miracles.

Scrubs -Clinique -7 Day Scrub Cream

on 11/16/2017 11:59:00 PM

This is a really nice, gentle scrub which is what is good for your skin. A lot of people who use St. Ives and other more grainy scrubs may not think it does as good of a job, but it does - the grains are just smaller and fewer. Cleanses my skin really well too, and smells great. I use it a couple times a week as part of my morning skincare routine as it makes my skin look brighter and healthier.

This is my new favourite cleanser! I use this after my Micellar water as an actual face cleanser. It cleans amazingly, and leaves my skin so so soft. It doesn't aggravate any redness either!

Lipstick -Clinique -Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

on 11/16/2017 4:17:00 AM

foto

No this isn't "Almost Lipstick", this is a lipstick. It's sheer and glossy, but it's still very lipstick-y in appearance. And if you're looking for a not-quite-lipstick product, this isn't for you.

Black Honey is a classic and flattering shade of dark-ish, neutral, shiny brown-berry. Looks great, applies nicely. But like I said, Almost Lipstick it is not.

Nice, but this wasn't right for me. I wouldn't buy it again.

Mascara -Clinique -Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara

on 11/16/2017 12:34:00 AM

foto

One of my favourite mascaras! I love the shape of the brush and how thin and precise it is. This mascara makes my lashes look extremely long. The only con I have is that sometimes the brush picks up too much product but that’s an easy fix as I can just wipe off the excess. This also does not run or smudge on me and I have oily skin.

Liquid -Clinique -Even Better Makeup SPF 15

on 11/15/2017 1:34:00 AM

Finally found my shade after 5 different sample which I’d golden neutral. Not really loving it. At first I thought it was just the shade selection but starting to realize maybe it is just the foundation itself. Tends to age me a bit and it does settle into my fine lines. I wore golden neutral a few days ago and thought it may work but today it looks horrible. Transfers onto anything and gets oily. I wanted so much to love this but not going to happen. I love Clinique moisturizers and facial cleansers but afraid iam going to pass on yet another Classic inquest foundation. And BTY the Even Better Glow was even worse for me. Disappointing but will always love the all about eyes and there yellow gel moisturizer!!!!!
