I have normal skin. I like the feeling of a matte foundation and want my makeup to last long so I mostly stick to these types of foundations. My skintone is NC25, I like foundations that are a hair darker. I first tried Warm Nude and Light Beige. I used Light Beige in Born this Way. In this line, Warm Nude and Light Beige look almost identical to me. They are both very peach/orange toned, and I need a foundation that is neutral yellow. I could get away with a one sheer layer beauty blender application of Warm Nude or Light Beige. A Sephora associate suggested I try Vanilla because it's yellow. I was skeptical because it's the 2nd or 3rd lightest shade, and Vanilla sounds so pale. (Silly I know). She was right, Vanilla was a way better fit. I would say it's a good choice for people NC20-25. It matches my skin exactly, but doesn't warm up the face the way I would like. The foundation has a similar quality to Double Wear, the way it sticks to the face but isn't dry looking. However I do find that I have to powder down double wear, but do not have to powder down peach perfect. I like to apply powder cheek products right on top. The coverage can be whatever you want it to be depending on application method and how much you use. Great value and packaging.

For the price, it just does not give me enough. It seems hydrating at first application (you can smell the coconut water in it) and it is very watery but it dries out when blended and accentuates fine lines under the eyes. I am always wary of concealers with a very watery consistency as I know them to dry out quite unflatteringly on the skin or stand out. For example, the UD naked skin concealer is watery but looks amazing under the eyes - however, I can not use it anywhere else on my face (to spot concealer for example) as it won't really blend under foundation. This concealer does not offer much in the way of coverage and I mostly use it over a corrector unless i'm going for an extremely natural look.Alternatives: Bareminerals Bareskin Concealer

For those who have followed Too Faced, the palettes that they've been putting out have been lackluster at best. From a personal standpoint, perhaps quality has suffered due to being bought by Estee Lauder, even though both founders still act as creative directors. Either way, the last couple palettes have been lacking in pigmentation with chalky formulas that were hard to blend. As always, the packaging is adorable. I like the melted gold effect over the "chocolate bar." Plus, it seems a bit sturdier than previous releases with a bigger mirror. Scent-wise, they're pleasant, and it's not overpowering. Overall, I didn't notice a ton of kick-back, but the formula seemed rather creamy to the touch when swatched. Pigmentation is a hit or miss though, and the golden-hued shadows needed some building up, and I noticed a bit of fallout during application, so dampen your brush beforehand - it will help if you're looking for a more dramatic color payoff. The mattes were decent, although the black shadow left a bit to be desired, and may need extra layering and blending should this be used. I found them relatively easy to blend, and they lasted throughout the day. This is an improvement, and I think it's worth purchasing.

If you have dry/dull skin you will pry like this. This foundation has a decent coverage (not as high end as it says), but it's buildable. The color fits my skin just right, and I LOVE the finish on it. Gives a vibrant and slight dewy finish. It is a little pricey but since it works great with my skin I would buy it again.

I was surprised by the low score for this product. Perhaps others have higher expectations than I. All I wanted was something to help me get rid of mascara without requiring I torture my eyelids and the skin around my eyes. Seriously, my cleansing water does its thing but I often have to rub vigorously and at my age I can't afford to remind that area it's time to wrinkle or those precious little hairs that they can fall out. I ordered a sample of Mascara Melt Off with my Sephora points and as I waited for it to arrive I practiced with a clean mascara wand and oil to remove my mascara. This did soften the mascara enough for the cleansing water to have less work to do. I worried about cloudy vision and getting oil in my eyes every night but, still, I considered the experiment a success. When the Melt Off arrived I used it that very night and, lo and behold, it's thin and kinda...soapy? For once I followed directions and applied it to my lashes, waited for as long as my patience lasted (less than a full minute...I have attention issues) and it actually worked. Now, here's the thing: I don't pile on the mascara. I just don't but I do apply two or three coats and they all came sliding neatly off onto my cotton square. I did the rest of my nightly cleansing routine and the next morning there were still no traces of mascara. Still , I waited before checking Sephora and MakeupAlley reviews because I didn't want to be swayed and can say absolutely that, yep, this works for me. Whether I buy the full size and break my rule about products which can only be obtained from one source and which are stupidly expensive remains to be seen. I'm over being bound by exclusivity. However, I DO prefer it to plain oil but it could be that I just haven't discovered the correct oil combo. I've got some Crunchy Betty OCM oil coming...maybe that'll work. If it doesn't then I may sigh, protest, grumble and buy it while I continue my search for either a homemade or cheaper drugstore version.

One of my favorite blushes. I have a really small mini size that came in a set and love it for travel. It's very pigmented and packs a punch but is such a natural shade. it wears all day on me

I will never repurchase an eye shadow other than maybe the Viseart Neutral Mattes because I will never use them up. However, I do really like this palette. It's great for green eyes. The smell doesn't bother me even though I prefer products without fragrances. I find this surprisingly versatile.

One of the best foundations I've ever used, provides great coverage and looks very natural on the skin. The only bad thing is that it does get oily throughout the day.

Love this. Use it everyday under my CC creme. Use with a very light hand.

I'm pretty surprised to see all of the negative reviews on here! My eyelashes are quite short and Better Than Sex provides me with full, plush and lovely eyelashes that I absolutely luvvv. I first tried their sample size in 2014 and instantly fell in love and went back for the full size. I haven't used another mascara since! I always have people asking if I'm wearing false lashes and I'm always so excited to tell them about BTS. The only downfall for me is the price. It can get expensive to pay $23 every other month or so. Still, I've always found a way to put it somewhere in the budget, because this is a must have for me!♡

Another thing my lovely mother bought me for Christmas and I’m thankful because I got to try it! I use the lip injection extreme all the time and have a mini of the regular lip injection and I like them. I’ve been more into gloss lately and I usually wear light nudes/pinks and really wanted to try this. She got me the shade angel kiss which is a pale pink. I usually will put lip injection extreme on at the start of my makeup so it has time to work and the redness settle down so I put this on after I did my eyeshadow. The color was extremely sheer and streaky so I don’t see it as something you can standalone wear, at least not with this shade. In addition I felt no tingle AT ALL. And it did not plump my lips at all. I’m sad because I thought for sure I would love this but no second chances, I’m taking it back.

This is my holy grail powder. I have very oily skin that messes up my makeup by mid day. I don’t have to worry about it when I wear this stuff. Seriously great for oily skin. I love how fine and soft it is...It doesn’t cling to dry skin spots and if I use it as a primer my foundation looks literally perfect. It doesn’t cake your foundation like you think a powder under foundation would do. This stuff is different I suppose. I don’t have large pores but it does cover up what I do have. If used over foundation, it smoothies it out seamlessly and beautifully. Other powders make my face look cakey and this does just the opposite. I can’t see it. Especially if I have to touch up. The packaging isn’t so great, although I don’t see another way of packaging something like this?? I was down to about 1/3 of this powder last month and it fell out of my purse just onto a table and it completely shattered. So I do not recommend traveling with it unless you are very very careful. Another thing i recently noticed is that it may cause flashback in photos but I’m not sure.. unless it is my foundation causing the flashback but I don’t see why it would.. It has a very very VERY subtle whitish tint if you use too much (which I have done accidentally) although I don’t see why you would need to. A little goes a long way. And I mean a little!! This stuff is awesome. Wish it was cheaper.

First off I have to say this foundation is way better than the Born This Way. It gives great (not completely full though) coverage. I have normal skin borderline dry but my skin care game is upped in the winter so I don't get dry patches. The color is strange, I highly recommend not buying online but going in stores and seeing the tester for yourself. It doesn't oxidize per se but definitely gets a tiny darker later in the day. It's nothing to worry about as it won't make your face and neck not match.
What prevents me from liking this to its full potential is I don't like how the finish changes within a few hours. No it doesn't fade, it doesn't crease, it doesn't look patchy, it doesn't sink into pores but the finish changes. It's matte but when your first apply it and for the first few hours, it looks like a natural Demi matte. However throughout the day my face starts looking like a flat matte pancake even if I wear luminizing primer underneath. This is definitely a foundation you would want to carry a setting spray with to revive. Ehh I can see how it can affect texture and dry skin but apply with beauty blender and it should be ok. Overall not the worst but also not the best...just meh.

It's been a long and arduous journey to find and obtain holy grail powder, but I have finally found it. It has taken me three years to find a replacement for my previous HG, L'Oreal Translucide. I'm really particular about setting powder, even though I only have two requirements, one that it's a loose powder, and also that it's not matte. This powder is great it gives a really nice healthy natural glow. I think this is way better than Laura Mercier, and MUFE. Cute container is nice to display on the vanity, and I'm am loving the sifter that snaps close. As much as I love loose powder its not often the most travel friendly product, thank you Too Faced for this little extra. A bit pricey, especially compared to my old HG, but sometimes you have to pay a little more for a great product. This is not a translucent powder and does have a slight yellow tinge, though it's not enough to color to color correct, or add coverage. If you are a selfie junkie, this photographs very well. I will but this as long as they make it. I love this times 100, if you have dry skin or just like natural looking makeup, this is an excellent choice.

I had to search all over the galaxy for this lipstick because it kept selling out online and in the physical Ulta store, but I was finally able to track it down. The packaging is extremely beautiful and the lipstick tube itself is so gorgeous. I honestly keep this lipstick on my vanity in its box because I love it so much. However, the lipstick... doesn't deliver. Yes, it is shimmery and beautiful. However, it looks really bad on my lips alone. It turns my lips an unflattering purple for my complexion; I was so disappointed. However, this lipstick, because of its shimmery quality, it's kinda gritty and drags underlying lipstick off, making my lips look patchy if I tried to wear something under it.If I had darker skin, it would be absolutely beautiful. But because I'm quite pale, it looked really awful.
