It is such a classy scent. Floral, cozy, powdery in a soapy way, not like a Flower by Kenzo, but like paper and clean clothes. Musk not too bitter. The older formula, before 2015, made me sneeze like crazy. The new one, even though less complex, does not cause me allergies. Love this one for summer and spring, but prefere the pour homme version for winter or the new cedre version

I really like this fragrance! I got it after purchasing a Sephora sampler kit and this was my favorite scent. I also bought a rollerball for my teacher who comments whenever I wear it.

i love this scent for everyday but I om wish it would LAST! I can't even smell it!! Maybe it's because I only have the rollerball but... I worry because I'm afraid of using too much because I can't smell it! It's expensive too so I would like to not go through a roller ever month. That aside, I feel like this is the first sweet perfume that doesn't make me gag-I dot. Love all the Victoras Secret perfumes and I normally don't like sweet smells except for some of the Demeter scents, but I like this and I feel like it's unexpected on me Bc I usually only wear musky scents. I will give the big bottle a try but I think I could find something that lasts longer on me for the price.

I love this. Well-crafted, balanced throughout its layers, and long lasting- though its final hours offer no throw, lying close to the skin instead. Exactly where I want it. Wears well year-round, so long as not over sprayed. A dark citrus twinge blooms in the 95 degree, 100% humidity-filled summers here where I live. In the winter, its amber, spice, & vanilla radiate a warmth that never veers into potpourri territory. I bounce mercilessly from fragrance to fragrance, but always return to Prada, especially when I want patchouli and amber delivered subtly. Lots of comparisons out there to Jessica Simpson Fancy Nights; absolutely similar. I have & enjoy them both. But, to me, Prada captures the feeling of being inside a beautiful, deep forest. Its floor is a carpet of dew-drenched, patchouli-laced moss, intermingled with damp earth and fallen trees. JS' Fancy Nights is much drier than Prada to my nose. Instead of traveling deep into the forest and hovering an inch above the ground, FN is content to stay at the forest's edge, where the first few feet of earth and trees are still within reach of sunlight and wind. The papyrus and resulting dryness in FN amps up the bergamot, citrus, in a way that is absent on my skin with Prada. My preference depends on mood. FN is quite full-throttle. Prada is subtle, subterranean in comparison. Will say it should be sold with a Gremlins-like warning label: Morphs into a monster without proper care. This one is heavy on natural essences, sparse on synthetics and preservatives. Stable it is not. Time, oxygen, light and heat are its mortal enemies. More susceptible to them than any other fragrance I've come across. I've learned never to order it online during the summer. It never survives the trip. There is no mistaking when Prada Amber turns. It's acrid and sour and a terrible shame. Just something to consider before buying: Requires TLC.

This is my signature scent. It's powdery and on my skin it smells kind of like the ocean (kind of salty). My cons are the price and the fact it doesn't last very long.

Beautiful sweet fragrance but a true waste of money nonetheless. I used this liberally several days in a row and not one person, friends or family, could smell it standing a few feet away from me. Only when they were practically on top of me could they detect any fragrance. I would get more satisfaction from a $10 bottle of Bath and Bodyworks body spray. This expensive bottle of nothing gets returned tomorrow.

opens with powdery violets. then it quickly becomes greener, with a lovely green and bitter Galbanum. violet leaf, the slightest touch of cassis rounding out the greeness. orris and rose create a suede like soft sweetness around the whole thing. i can definitely smell the rose and perhaps its stems.in a word, a beautiful, soft, suede, powdery violet that is balanced so beautifully, you are surrounded by violets, without much of the candy quality that you might associate with a violet scent. just lovely and to me, it smells nothing like meteorites. i don't like meteorites, which smells very "cheap" and dated compared to this.i also wear Calypso Violet (sweet, powdered candy), Annick Goutal La Violette (very similar to Prada, but without the leather) and Misia (similar violet and rose combo, sweeter, with lipstick/makeup). Prada Violette is for violet lovers who don't mind a bit of leather and greenery and who don't want candied sweetness.as a parfum, it wear close to the skin, but drifts in the air around you those soft powdery violets and every now again, you get this suede and greenery. she is no sweet shrinking violet, she is one sensual classy violet.

I've been using this one for myself recently. It's a mans cologne but it comes off more girly to me. I'm not saying men shouldn't wear it, I just thought it was for women when I first smelled it. Anyways, as I've been exploring the perfume world again recently, I find this one to be a very nice everyday scent. Just one or two sprays is more than enough. Don't over do it! I usually just use my body sprays but this has forgetting about them now. Obviously I'm kind of sensitive to perfume/colognes. I recommend this one to men or women. Sephora seems to always have this in samples so go give it a try for yourself. It's a nice strong mix of fresh, green and floral.

After testing the EDP several times, and wanting to love it, it just didn't work on me. So I reluctantly tried the EDT (assuming the EDT would be a watered down version of the EDP) and OMG am I pleased I did !! It's a stunning perfume, has amazing lasting power (about 8 hours or more) and while it has similar notes to the EDP it's not as heavy, is much more of a spring / summer scent and an absolutely classic, elegant fragrance. This beautiful fragrance is a keeper and definitely a repeater (repeat buy!!)

I received this as a gift from my DH. It is a more luxe albeit subtle version of Frederic Malle's Iris scent. I can't compare this to the original, but it will be in my perfume lineup. Taking off one point as it does not last as long as I would like.

I'm not sure why they left the Candy in the name--this is pure floral to my nose. In fact, it's very rose-like, but not in a good way. I'm not a fan. Honestly, it smells exactly like the conditioner that comes with Loreal Excellence hair color--just rose floral, and a matronly rose at that.

I adore this fragrance so much! I love the sweetness, the warmth, the way this lingers as warm caramel, vanilla sugar and ends up being a sensuous sweet musk. Candy is an updated vanilla fragrance, not at all like the cheap body sprays that I wore as a teen. This is a very seductively feminine fragrance, which although is warm and enticing, it has a cleanness to it which keeps it modern. I have read reviews of this that compare it to a sweeter Infusion D Iris, and that is exactly what this smells like to me! This also really lasts on my skin, for which I am very grateful. I only own the rollerball for now but I will definitely buy a bigger bottle.

I love it. I had no idea it existed. I had mentioned to DH that I wanted Pink Sugar, but when he went to get it for me at Sephora, they didn't have it. They recommended this and he purchased it for me and I am so glad. I love PS but this is even better because it's sweet without being too juvenile. It's grown up sugar. :D

Prada Candy perfume plus magnolia. Too much Big White Floral on me, on top of powdery Tonka. Very eh. Not remotely for me. Doesn't have much lasting power, either. Not one of Prada's better efforts, but not bad in any way. Just very eh.

Definitely sweet and sugary, but not head-ache inducing. I prefer this to Pink Sugar and the only thing I can complain about is that it doesn't last too long on my skin. Luckily I have the rollerball so all I have to do is reapply. This would be perfect for the fall and winter. I get whiffs of caramel and vanilla that doesn't overwhelm. I would buy this again.
