I really like this; it is long lasting, and easy to apply and blend. It’s great for covering redness, blemishes, and darkness on the lids. I use it under my eyes as well, but then add a slightly lighter concealer on top for more coverage and a little brightness.

I love this brush for applying shadows to small areas of my eye - especially the inner lid and inner corner/tear duct area. This brush gives a precise, smooth and even layer of shadow and as that is where I tend to use more shimmery shades so a smooth and "unpatchy" result is important. This is a great brush for this purpose and also for brushing and blending shadows under my lower lashes. Works nicely for applying a bit of highlighter to my Cupid's bow as well.

I have normal skin and wear N1 in this foundation. I prefer light coverage that allows my freckles to show, and will not tolerate heaviness from any product. This is my foundation when I require one. This can be layered without detection. Shake well. I apply it over Dr. Carver's Miracle Serum, then moisturizer (various brands from drugstore, ranging from 30spf to 50spf, depending on how I feel), using my hands in downward strokes for each product so that facial hair lays flat, applying foundation only where needed -- above brows, nose and around nostrils, nose-to-mouth lines, old acne scarring on neck (two coats). It is undetectable in northern, natural light. I forget I have it on. No powder is required. It does not settle in lines. It's still on at the end of the day. My skin has never had a reaction to it. I always require the addition of Cerave eye cream under eyes and Maybelline NY Better Skin Superstay Concealer in Light.

I have a love-hate relationship with this. It's light in texture--making it warm-weather appropriate-- but somehow the C2 is too light in summer and the C3 is too dark (I'm NC25). I recently wore this to an evening event and looked, in the pictures, as if I had suffered some sort of dreadful arsenic-poisoning incident. It was pasty, sweaty nastiness. I'll either keep this for fall and winter (does the trick just fine then) or else add some bronzing drops.

Wouldn't recommend for sensitive eyes. It makes mine burn and go red. Removes makeup ok but it takes more product and work to get makeup off than my others. The packaging has a child proof top that is hard to get open, and hurts my hands. You have to press down firmly while turning the cap. Not great last thing at night when I can barely keep my eyes open!

This is a very good setting spray for oily skin. It keeps me matte longer and gives a nice finish to the skin. Typical MAC pricing...not a bargain but not outrageous. Nice light smell too. The mist could be finer. A keeper for sure.

I got this in the "Little MAC" edition around the holidays and have just gotten around to using it. I'm not a big fan of MAC mascaras, but the color of this appealed to me. It's a charcoal grey, quite dark, with a muted dark blue cast and a subtle luminescence--no shimmer or glitter, just a sort of glow. It doesn't excel in length or volume, but the amount it gives is perfect for my aging blue/grey eyes, and the shade really brings out the blue of my eyes. It applies easily, layers well, doesn't get clumpy, doesn't uncurl my lashes, and doesn't flake or smear. It also doesn't irritate my eyes, and it comes off easily with a biphasic remover (Neutrogena). Although this looks ashy on the wand and initially doesn't look much different from black on my lashes, the softer shade, blue cast, and luminescence work some magic for me. I would repurchase, and am thinking of getting a backup, which I rarely do. This would be my everyday mascara if it were a staple in MAC's line.

This is kind of a difficult color to describe, and the online swatches as well as just looking at the actual lipstick bullet don't really match how it looks on my lips. The review that calls it a "peachy-brown with hints of warm pink" is pretty spot on. Also, I think whether or not this shade works for you is completely dependent on your skin tone, which is a given for most lipsticks, but more so than usual. I am medium olive, pretty tan in the summer, and this comes off as a darker yet still mid-level nude on me. There is just enough contrast with my skin + that elusive perfect peachiness to differentiate it from other nudes, and the little bit of pink keeps it from clashing with my skin. The MAC Satin lipstick formula is always one of my favorites. Opaque, matte-ish but not flat, long lasting for a standard lipstick formula. Low maintenance. For some reason, Mocha is a little more drying than my other Satins, but it's not bad at all. Doesn't need a liner, but I prefer one with it. I have a NYX lip liner in Nude Truffle that is at a 8/10 level of perfect match (enough for me to not seek out a new one lol). I'm vibing with Mocha right now because it's very Monsoon Wedding, very gypsy caravan-esque, but without the overt drama of, say, a deep red/rust/wine lip. This is going to sound weird, but it emits this like gilded jewelery box aura and if it works with your skin tone, it will radiate that aura to the rest of your face. I'm guessing it's that perfect balance of peach and pink. It's subtle enough for work & still 'enough' for night time. Definitely try this one on before buying though!

This is a fairly recent discovery for me, I only purchased this around 2 months ago but it has become my go-to lipstick. I never want to take it off! It is a gorgeous shade of cool toned medium red with pinky undertones. It flatters my fair skin perfectly and makes my teeth look whiter also, which is always a bonus. It has MAC’s Retro Matte formula, so it is quite dry. However, I simply apply a little lip balm underneath, blot off the shiny residue the balm leaves and then put on the lipstick. This way makes it quite easy to apply. It lasts forever on the lips, and will easily withstand eating and drinking. You can pop it on in the morning and it will look great until evening! When it does fade, it fades evenly and leaves a lovely stain on the lips. I find that if you need to reapply during the day you can do this easy, as the lipstick doesn’t become thick and cakey. I am obsessed with this lippy, I never want to be without it! It is my absolute favourite, I just wish I had discovered it years ago! I believe it would suit a wide variety of skin tones so encourage everyone to check it out!

One test spray is all it took. Yep, I finally have my gas station/ petrol scent I have always wanted. It also smells like raw hide at some point, lasts all day and projects around the room. Scored a bottle online at Nordstrom for 40% off, payed around $36.00.

I love this eyeliner mostly for the color, it’s the perfect brown-black for those of us who look a bit too harsh with black eyeliner for day-to-day. The formula is nothing special and I find that it smudges a bit by the end of the day, especially if it’s hot. Lasts about 3-4mos for me with daily use.

I absolutely LOVE these color correctors. I find the consistency to be beautifully creamy & hydrating. The color payoff is pretty opaque, whereas I find many other correctors I own to sheer-out considerably. I have but one issue with this product which have zero to do with its performance and more concerning value. I think the price point is a little too high considering the amount of product received ($26 for 8ml total/4ml on each side, MAC PLW Concealer is $24 for 9ml). There is a Conceal and Correct Palette available in four color options, each one includes two color-correcting shades from each duo. Though these are in cream form instead of liquid, these palettes have six pans each for $35 (total amount of product is 0.21 oz. which is ~6ml, though in Cream, not liquid). Now that I’ve gone through two of these seemingly overnight, I am going to finally spring for the palette next time around!
