This shade is a very light beigish-goldeny, metallic color, that I don't really care for personally. In the jar, (before I actually opened it), it looks like an everyday, super wearable type of color, but in person, I just don't care for the very metallic undertone it has to it. It is not my cup of tea, but, if you are are okay with having, very shiny metallic eyeshadow on, then go for it! I definitely don't plan on re-purchasing this shade ever again. As, I much prefer the Creamy Beige shade a whole lot better overall.

I bought it in the Barely Beige color. This stuff is absolute junk! It goes on patchy, you have to really blend to get it to look evened out on the eye, and the shade has a icy metallic look to it that I don't really care for. Plus, this stuff does crease is not as long-lasting as it's supposed to be on the eyes at all. This is truly one of the worst products Maybelline has ever come out with, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

I love this foundation and I receive a lot of compliments when I wear it. It reminds me of Chanel's Velvet Lumiere. It wears better on my skin than Chanel's Velvet and doesn't have the strong fragrance of Chanel. It doesn't feel like foundation and has a light to medium-ish finish. I have an extremely oily Tzone and this still looks good at the end of the day. For the price point, it can't be beat. The color I use is 128. For reference, I am NC25 Mac Pro longwear... B20 Chanel Velvet Lumiere.

I had to throw out my favorite eyeliner (Rimmel Scandaleyes) after I had conjunctivitis, and it wasn't in stock. So I picked 2 up - 1 in Espresso & 1 in Black Onyx. Gotta love retractable liners so they don't "ouch" on the waterline and when working close to the lash line (I love tightlining and these do the job). I usually don't wear black liners since I'm pale skinned but this one was creamy and soft enough to look natural. A bit of fading throughout the day but I don't wear primer. Also many creamier cheap formulas like these tend to wear a bit anyway so not disappointing considering the price.

Terrible product. I bought it Lavish Lavender during summer. You get what you paid for. This thick eye pencil is inexpensive and of poor quality. It creased, broke, and partially melted in NYC summer weather. Save some money and buy a good quality eye pencil that you will truly enjoy. Would not repurchase.

I am apparently the lone dissenter regarding repurchase--i would not. I started using Ben Nye neutral set back in 2004 and finally the colorless powder thing has caught on. This does a good job of setting my makeup. It is lightweight--so much so that when i go to apply, a big cloud of noxious powder smoke puffs up. It would be nice to have an adjustable sifter on this. So i am going to tape over some of the holes in an effort to shrink the smoke cloud. I do not like the smell of this product. One of CG's powders smells like cat litter. Guerlain Meteorites has that violet scent which was a dealbreaker for me. This powder has a burnt-plastic odor that i find unpleasant. I will try to use this up but planning to go back to colorless pressed Rimmel powder.

I finally found a HG concealer. It has good coverage, lasts all day, blends easily, and doesn't set in the fine lines. However, you need to find a good colour match according to your dark circles. I have blue/purple dark circles, and tried the shades iluminizer (soft pink, didn't work), honey (too dark for me) and finally, light which is the one I am keeping with. The only con is the application, but all in all I think the product is so good that you can ignore it.I would definetely repurchase.

This concealer is one of my top drugstore/affordable concealers. I was planning to get the Fit Me concealer but it was out of stock at Priceline and I was in a bit of a hurry. I grabbed this for around $12 AUS the day of a wedding and it worked wonders. It didn't crease or get streaky and stayed for the whole afternoon/evening even after lots of tears and dancing.I am in the shade Light/Medium (30) and I love that it has a neutral base - that is so hard to find in drugstore concealers! It's a nice creamy texture and it doesn't seem to bring out any dryness in my skin.If you're looking for a good affordable concealer, I would recommend Maybelline's range. They seem to never disappoint!

As per my other mascara reviews, here are my criteria for a good one:1) good grip on the first stroke. Gives a good coat first time around then builds length and volume with a second coat if I want it. Huge, overly thick 'fake' lashes not a priority.2) stays on, no smudging or flaking. I have oily, deep set lids so this is quite a challenge.3) comes off easily with a proper eye make up remover, no pulling or morning residue.A huge improvement on the LS Luscious version but this isn’t hard. Still quite gloopy to apply and the brush really isn’t sturdy enough to give any real power. Much easier to take off than its sister version. Gives a natural lash look but really nothing special other than the price.

I really liked this foundation at first, but recently my skin has been breaking out a lot, and this foundation doesn't cover it probably at all. It's starting to look quite patchy on my skin after a couple of hours, and it has a tendency to cling to dry spots. I have combination skin with dry spots and texture, so everyone won't experience this issue, I'm thinking that if you have normal to oily skin, it will probably look more smooth on you. When I put this foundation on, it looks a bit too light and yellow-ish on me, (I have it in the shade 115 ivory) but then it oxidizes and turns a bit darker and reddish. I apply this with a damp sponge and usually set it with the Rimmel stay matte powder. Not my favourite powder at all, but a girl is on a budget, ya know. But overall it's a an ok product for the price, and I can make it work with the proper moisturizer and primer first. I wish it had a pump.

This is a really great concealer. Product is full coverage without being too thick or clumpy. I found it worked best being blended with my fingers though also good with brush or beauty sponge. I mixed two shades for my perfect match but they were ok on their own too. totally workable concealer!

Didn't really care much for this at first. The wand is weird and doesn't let you get that nice taperd wing tip and the formula is watery. But I have to give points just for the fact that it comes in Brown. The shade brownish black is not black but more of a espresso color. Once I learned how to use the wand it came in handy for days where I wanted to just darken up my lash line for a more natural look.

I'm somewhat surprised by the low ratings. I am loving this porduct. I bought it in 260-Deep Brown and its a real brown, not reddish brown. As you age, you lose the color and thinning in the brows. This makes mine look fuller without looking like they are "colored". Using the wand leaves a more natural effect, but I did shape my brows by combing through with a eyelash comb. The product didn't smear or wear off during the day. I used Pond's clothes to take it off. Easy peezy. Really great product it the need is as I noted above you might want to try this one.

----REVIEW OF LIMITED NUDE EDITION----I noticed that reviews on MakeupAlley for this product have 2 Ravishing Rose lippies by Maybelline listed under the same thread - there's a blue-toned hot pink and a Nude Limited Edition (I'm reviewing the Nude) with the same name. First off, why is this Nude shade virtually unheard of online (I only found like 3 swatches/blogs)?! It's a peachy pink - more carnation than rose so I'm not sure why it has "Rose" in the name. It's the PEACHY NUDE HOLY GRAIL. Ravishing Rose Limited Edition is a white-based pinky nude that could flatter anyone with fair skin who struggles to find the perfect nude. This has just the right peach-pink ratio and looks baby pink with a hint of peach. I usually won't wear anything that isn't pink and this is still a pale pink! It pops against my skin and makes my pale complexion look naturally sun kissed. In fact, I feel like even if you're slightly tan this could definitely work. This is such a unique shade that I can't fully describe. Formula is smooth & creamy. I wear Burt's Bees balm under to give it a subtle sheen & dimension. My review doesn't do it justice. Chances are you don't have anything quite like this in your collection GO GET IT if you're fair/slightly tan.

This foundation clings to dry spots and moves around too much - even with powder. This is my third bottle of the same color + formulation (matte), so I feel like they may have changed something about it. 😕
