I originally bought this as a dupe for Glossier’s boy brow because I wasn’t ready to spend the cash on that one, but it doesn’t quite add up. If you’re looking to spend a little more, and get much better quality, you can get 10% off at Glossier here: http://bff.glossier.com/jaK-v

This powder sets my Bobbi Brown Skin Longwear foundation perfectly. I have also tried this powder over L'oreal infallible foundation and it works well. Makes my skin look airbrushed when I set it with my Skindinavia Primer and Mac studio fix spray. The brush i used to apply this powder is a powder brush from Real techniques.

I have combination to oily skin. These are the pros and cons for a combo-oily gal like me.Pros:- good amount of product.- amazing range of shades.- good price.Cons:- cakes up no matter how i apply.- creates a textured looking skin. - obviously not for combination to oily skin. - semi-matte, not a full matte powder. Cannot control oils by after 2 hours.- not very finely milled. I gotta say this: It's not a good comparison to laura mercier loose powder. This powder isn't any close to a good powder for oily skin. It's easier for me to find products if the products are meant for oily skin. But this isn't one of them! It cakes up really2 bad. No matter if i wore it with a sponge or a brush. My skin ain't flawless but this powder made me look like i have an acne prone skin or uneven skin. It made my makeup look bad, textured and heavy. By the end of the day, my face became oily and my lines are cracked which i have never experienced before. I wore it during the week celebration of eid mubarak. I was having a whole week of bad makeup day. Do not trust people when they say that this is a very finely milled powder. No, It's not! I can say that this would be a really good powder for those with dry skin but since this cakes up really bad, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all, really.I then purchased the coty airspun loose powder in a trial pack (10g). It works miraculously!! I'm totally in love with it. It made my skin looking smooth all day. I will just stick with that. My other two amazing powders are rimmel stay matte pressed powder and the maybelline fit me pressed powder. Now that's a better powder for oily skin than this fit me loose powder.

I currently own the dewy + smooth finish, but a few years ago I'd buy this version on and off in between using my other foundations. (my shade is Porcelain 110) I have quite oily skin + I'm acne prone with some visible pores along the side of my nose/cheek area, so with this being formulated specifically for oily peeps, I was drawn really quick. Although I would purchase this again, and did really enjoy it, I'm haunted with how I used to apply it.. thinking back, it probably really affected the final look and wear of the product. At the time, I strongly stood by the concept that "more is more" and so that entailed me piling on this foundation, "blending" with my fingers, and despite it clearly being a matte finish that set well, I still felt the need to smack on heaps of pressed powder with the sponge applicator that would come with the compact...bad times.. doing so would leave a rather 'perfect' finish, until about 4 hours later when the product would crinkle up and emphasise any pore, line, flake that was on my skin. (I also wasn't very into skincare or moisturizing my face in general, so... go figure). Not the formulas fault, just be wise when it comes to applying your makeup lol, you'll figure out what works and what doesn't. Since that is my last experience of using this, I would definitely like to repurchase in the future and see how it looks and feels with proper technique, haha...

This mascara is really good. It make my eyelashes look curlier, thicker and longer naturally.

Not a big fan of this. It looks muddy on me and I don’t like the foam applicator. The color is flat and doesn’t really brighten my undereye area. I got this to try when my L’oreal Visible Lift ran out. I occasionally make myself try it, but every time I use it I remember why I don’t reach for it. Keeping as a backup but will not repurchase.

Lightweight, looks so natural and skin-light, and doesn't cake up no matter how much I apply. I wouldn't use if you were very oily because it does provide a nice dewy finish. It's also not buildable and the coverage is light, so I only use it when it's a good skin day or it's very humid out because of how light it is. I do not use the sponge it came with because it's pretty much useless.I took a lippie off because like most cushions, you do not get a lot of product on the sponge, so it will not last as long as tradition liquid foundations. For $13, I can get a full ounce of product that will last months and months.

I began wearing this mascara when it first came on the market and wore it daily many years until it was discontinued. Since then I have tried hundreds of other mascara's and none even come close to the quality of Maybelline Dial A Lash. As a result I gave up wearing makeup. I just can't understand why great products always seem to go away! Who is deciding what should be discontinued? I've come to think that it actually isn't about quality and customer satisfaction at all, but as always the almighty dollar that makes the decisions! How sad... Please bring it back before I'm to old to wear makeup!

Excellent mascara. Wears all day, doesn't flake and makes my eyelashes look great. The only minor drawback is that it doesn't really hold a curl too well.

This is one of my favorite lines EVER. This line got me into nudes. I'm pale and incredibly impressed.... I bought Bare All, Blushing Beige, Nude Lust, & Truffle Tease (reviewed all individually so I won't go into detail)They are all a bit on the sheer side (but can easily be built for a statement) and have a slight sheen like most of the Maybelline lippies. The sheerness may not work for you if you're very dark skinned or like a bold nude so if you're looking for an intense dark nude, look elsewhere (unless you buy the darkest shade). These shades all have some degree of pink to it which helps them look more wearable (I wear them to work because they're just so natural looking!!). I'd recommend this to someone who is either pale or afraid of statement Kylie Jenner nudes, because these are all very refined, if you're looking to slowly ease into nude lippies. These all add a wash of color for a put-together effortless look. I can literally wear these anywhere.Ok I'll stop swooning about my love for this line - did I mention I LOVE IT? Honestly could go on and on about how much I love it basically go try these colors.

Another amazing shade from the Buffs collection (one of my fav lipstick lines ever). It's a light-medium nude with a hint of pink. Quite similar to Nude Lust from this collection but Nude Lust is more of a pinky-nude while this a true nude with a splash of pink. I'm pale and so impressed that this color flatters me, seeing it's like the 4th or 5th in the line (they got darker throughout the line). Just a stunning color that could flatter any complexion. I love how it starts sheer so you can control how bold you want it. I like the finish too - slightly shiny for a youthful look (mattes can be very aging on the lips).

I picked this up in Espresso (a very nice dark brown) from the half-price rack at my local Safeway. I don’t think it was worth $4. The eyeliner is just too soft to give a well-defined line. You must smudge it because it applies unevenly.
It wore poorly too- it didn’t last 6 hours, but I did not use primer or a fixing spray. Even with help from other products, I don’t think it lives up to the label claims of smudge-proof and all-day wear.

I really like this mascara. It's definitely an impact mascara. The formula is uber black, rich & thick & creamy. It's a volume mascara but not a lengthening one. The only thing I've got against it, is that it's hard to build up layers & stings a little when it gets in my eyes.

Uuuuuggggh do not even bother if your skin is even the slightest bit dry. Gets all patchy looking. Gross.

I can’t apply this directly to my face as it will mess up my foundation , however when applied with my fingers it’s a beautiful highlight that is not too overpowering but still enough where you notice it and it looks good. Probably would purchase another highlighter next time but this one will last a while so I will continue to use it!
