Shades can be worn alone or mixed together, wet or dry, and as shadows or liners, making this the ideal palette for every IT Girl’s makeup collection! The shadows are all formulated in the USA.I debated and debated about getting this palette and finally just did it after going back and forth for a while. It comes in a soft pink velvet type of case with a magnetic closure. I kept the box and put it back in the box after I use it to help keep it cleaner. Not a fan of the packaging, what were they thinking? How hard is it to make a palette that you can clean? I will probably use it up before it gets too dirty. It has 14 very usable matte shades. The 15th color is larger than the others and is a transforming pearl. At first I thought it was kind of gimmicky but I actually use it a lot. I use it on the brow bone and also to soften other colors while blending if I feel one is a bit darker than I want. I find these shadows extremely high quality. There is zero fallout and they are plenty pigmented for me, buttery, glide onto the lid, blend like a dream and stay put all day. I have to be careful to not get too much on the brush because it just takes a little. I don’t even feel the need to tap my brush. The pigment is just perfect. Sometimes too much pigment is not something I want if I don’t have time to spend 30 minutes blending. These blend very well and have just enough pigment and unlike many (or most) mattes they never look chalky or powdery. They are very smooth and silky. Anastasia has so many pretty mattes and I have many of them but almost all of them are so powdery compared to these. If I use my ABH shadows, I always do my eyes first because of the fall out. That problem is non-existent with this palette. If you are looking for bold and exciting this is not for you or you are going to have to use another palette with it. The colors are more for an everyday, or a softer, more natural, more muted look. There are not any really bright, vivid colors in this palette but there are lots of really pretty, very wearable colors and I can create lots of very lovely looks. Most of the colors are more cool toned but you can also do a beautiful warmer look with some of the colors on the bottom row. I think it’s really nice to have more cool tones for a change, I have way too many warm toned palettes and I get sick of them. I debated about the Naked 2 or this one and after trying Naked 2 and being less than wowed, I decided to try this one because of the colors and ingredients. The colors all look nice with my blonde hair and blue eyes.I really like the colors in this palette but it’s the quality of the shadows that really makes me LOVE it! I can do a single color all over the lid with many of the colors and it looks very nice or I can use several to create a bolder dimensional look and they all blend like a dream and feel so silky on my eyes, no inconsistencies from color to color. Pigmentation is excellent dry and you can use them wet if you prefer a bolder more dramatic look. I can do a bold smoky eye for evening or a very pretty natural look for daytime. These shadows have zero talc or fragrance. I listed the ingredients below at the end of this review. This is a good undereye concealer in terms of coverage and color/brightening. The consistency is really frustrating though. You absolutely have to apply this before your other makeup because it is so thick. Like toothpaste thick and really hard to blend. It's not something I reach for when I'm doing my everyday makeup because it's just too high maintenance (would rather use maybelline age rewind), but if I'm going out for an event and willing to spend more time then I'll use it.

I got the colour je ne sais quoi. I really like the colour and feel of the lipstick. BUT it has a smell (like most It Cosmetics). I get migraines and I’m scent sensitive. It so unnecessary..

This came in a sample form and then I bought the full size one. I had low expections as tend to be fussy on mascara and eye liner. It can irritate the eyes or smear. So I would throw it on for unimportant things as I was running out the door. It was fast to put on and stayed put. I had no problem with clumping. I have a mascara comb for clumping but don’t use it with this. (I usually use primer and a tubing mascara and comb out my lashes.). If I don’t want to go to all that trouble then I grab this one. I do have long lashes so it’s easy to get length for me. This adds volume and does not run. It also comes off easy at the end of the day. I thought it was a great product and easy. I got mine at Ulta on line.

This brush is different from the silver-handled It for ULTA brushes. It has a cute metallic pink handle and the synthetic bristles are in the shape of a heart. I paid $30 for this brush during Breast Cancer Awareness month. I initially balked at the price, but I was told that some money from my purchase would be donated to Look Good Feel Better, an American Cancer Society program. At first I really enjoyed using the brush. It's lightweight and it did a great job of applying foundation evenly. It was soft enough, slightly softer than my old Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, which retails for $8.99. I trusted the It Cosmetics brand because I have one of their eye shadow brushes, #112, and I love it. However, the "Love Beauty Fully Love is the Foundation Brush" was a disappointment because after three months of light use and a handful of careful washings, the bristles began falling out in clumps. I have a Kat Von D foundation brush that is older that doesn't shed. I've had my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush for at least two years and it doesn't shed either. I don't know if It Cosmetics didn't use enough glue, or the right kind of glue, or if I just happened to get a lemon. I dry my brushes upside down to prevent water from collecting inside the ferrule, so most of my brushes do not shed. Many of my brushes from MAC and Trish McEvoy are fifteen years old or older and they don't shed. This pink, heart-shaped "Love" brush only lasted three months. I think they offer it annually during the month of October but I will not buy another one. My It for ULTA eye shadow brush seems to be hardier (or in this case, "heartier"). I haven't noticed any shedding from that one (knock on wood).

I always had oily skin but now that I'm on the other side of 30 and moved a bit further north, my skin is so dry and awful. This cc cream smooths over all of my texture and gives decent coverage. It really doesn't look like makeup. I still have to use a concealer on any blemishes but one layer applied with a brush or two with a sponge makes my pores look smaller, evens my skin tone, and gives me a nice dewy glow. I've even had good luck applying this with my fingers. It is very forgiving. I do wish they had a lighter shade but I can get away with fair. My only complaint is that it is not very long lasting without a primer. I've yet to find a primer that didn't break me out to use with this but that's just my crazy skin!

Complete waste of money. Half of the shadows are poorly pigmented. Although smooth in texture, the color payoff is just not there. Even drugstore shadows, like Wet n Wild, have better pigmentation. As others have mentioned, the colors do not work together either. The size of the pans are very small in person. The crazy shape of the palette makes it harder to put into a beauty bag and the lid will never stay open. Save your money.

I'm 51 and dealing with changing skin texture and dryness. My go-to liquid foundations have started accentuating texture and looking heavier than I'd like. Never ever thought a powder foundation would work on my aging combo skin and large pores, but this defies all my expectations. This is the most skin-like foundation I have at this point and I'm continually surprised that at my age a powder foundation is the most natural and flattering option. I'm an NC15-20 and have this in the color Light. I'm going to order Fair and mix them to achieve a better match for my winter skin, but Light is still workable for my skin tone. What works: Applying moisturizer (CeraVe PM) on a damp face after morning wash, then applying my sunscreen (Elta MD) after moisturizer has dried down. This sunscreen has a lot of silicone slip to it, so no need for a primer. After the sunscreen has set, I apply small amount of concealer where needed. Then I start with a small amount of this foundation on a fluffy brush, building slowly as needed. After that, I buff it in with a denser face brush. This is a very quick routine in the mornings. Also, it may look heavy at first but look again in about 10 minutes and it seems to settle in and meld with skin. Wow!After all that, I apply bronzer, contour, blush, whatever else I want and sometimes buff it together again at the end.Pros: This evens out skin tone really well with minimal product. It covers my melasma while looking very natural and skin-like. The illumination factor also brightens my complexion and gives me an awake and rested look. I don't need to use highlighter, so that step is eliminated. Application is very quick and super simple. Cons: On parched dry, flaky skin it can look overdone if applied too heavily. The shine can be a bit overwhelming at times, so I sometimes tone it down with some matte face powder in the T-zone. It can look a bit heavy at first but seems to meld with the skin and look natural over a few minutes, so give it some time.Overall, I highly recommend this and will order it again and again. It's my holy grail foundation for this point in my life.

This seems to be a bit of a hidden gem. I bought this recently when Ulta was offering 5X points on the brand. I really like both the concealer and brightener ends. The concealer works well under my eyes and around my nose. The brightener works well all over

This is the most clumpy mascara I have ever tried. Worse than drugstore brands but more expensive. Would NOT recommend

I have a tiny sample size tube that’s lasted me over a year! Previous reviewers said they use a drop the size of a pin head for both eyes, so I started using it that way and it works much better. I keep it in my purse to touch up or cover redness around my nose/mouth throughout the day if I need to. I’m pretty fair and I use the medium shade and it’s a good match

This is orange. Or brown. Any way you look at it, it’s not for light or fair skin, despite its claims. It looks like red clay on my (NW15) skin and is THICK and difficult to spread. I’ve spoken with several people who use this, but I look at them and think “your face looks filthy”, so, um, thanks for the advice, but-eh. No.
Unsanitary jar packaging = filthy testers, so I would find a sample packet of this before I touched it. It’s just so greasy. I’m super unimpressed by IT Cosmetics. Not a single product has lived up to its absurd claims, but this is the worst. It feels like expired pancake makeup. No no no no.

I bought this at my sister’s recommendation. I had been alternately using Giorgio Armani maestro and Mac cream foundation. I am 65 and I feel like at this stage of my life, less is more. I use confidence in a compact with the brush; it goes on slightly moist and feels cool and comforting. I don’t need much and the compact has lasted a long time. It’s not cheap, but I still feel like it’s a good value. I do wish that it was refillable - the case itself is durable and could last. My sister lives in Albuquerque and wears it in hot weather without a problem. We both have normal to dry skin and live in dry climates, so I can’t speak to its efficacy on oily skin and/or in humid climates.

As CC creams/foundations go, this isn't bad. The coverage is buildable, it doesn't break me out, and it does seem to have relatively good lasting power. The color range isn't spectacular, but I can make Fair work (I'm NW15). I think I truly fall somewhere between Fair and Light, because I get a slight whiteish cast when I wear this, but it's close enough and the formula is sheer enough that it's an ok match. It does a decent job of covering up my blemishes and dark spots, which is why I bought this in the first place. I got suckered into buying the Heavenly Luxe brush with it, which does a decent job blending this. I like it enough that I'll keep using it and finish the tube, but I'm always on the hunt for something better.
