If you have oily skin and want a long wear, medium coverage upon first coat, full coverage with 2 coats foundation, JUST GET IT. It really is the BEST on the market. I have been there, done that, and CONTINUE to venture out just out of curiosity and this remains untouchable for HG. All the other samples of enticing new foundations get tossed and I apologize to my double wear while kissing the bottle the next morning. Also, the shade match is the most impeccable I've found in ANY brand ever. A $42 bottle lasts me 2-3 months, and for almost every day use and such a reliable product, I find that to be a good price. My Estee Lauder counter gave me a pump for free & I just sanitize it and reuse it with each repurchase. But I think it's like 10 bucks, just get it if you don't make friends with your SA.Disclaimers:- Because the texture of this foundation is like PAINT (in a good way that feels very comfortable to the skin) you HAVE to have a moisturized base to lay it down on or it will NOT LOOK GOOD. It covers like a dream so if you have acne or issues you will love it, but you have to make sure your skin is hydrated first. - If you are really oily like me, it's not a miraculous enough product that you still don't have to set with powder and setting spray. I start to look dewy at the 4-6 hour mark depending on the weather (but experience no dissappearance or patchiness which is why this is bomb). At that time I like to blot and/or apply pressed translucent powder and it looks good like I just applied for at least another 4 hours. - Technique is very relative to how you're going to like this foundation. I find using a duo fibre brush to buff it in using light layers makes it look like my skin is naturally airbrushed. If you apply it with a damp beauty blender, it sheers it out alot & you get a very see thru light coverage, and I find the lasting power struggles even after setting powder and setting spray when using that method. Which might be what some people are going for, and in that case, applied that way those people will dig this foundation too.

Although it is different from other Doubel Wear foundations, I get why EL marketed it in the same range: despite the light coverage, it does hold very well! I confidently have this on, without any touch up’s throughout my 9-5 working day (although on warmer days, I tend to blot off shine from my nose. This is inevitable as I do have oily/combo skin). I don’t mind that it doesn’t totally stop the oiliness. To be honest, I am suspicious of any cosmetic that would do that - it doesn’t seem healthy. Although there are skin care products that help regulate oil production, such as certain exfoliants (which I use), I am not sure about products that temporarily block off oil production 100% - this can only evenutally clog the skin! Anyway, the best thing about this foundation is it’s skin-like finish. It truly looks so natural. Rated one lippie down for the packaging. It needs a pump, EL, and one that comes with it for free!

I have super oily skin and I've been trying to find a long wearing foundation for as long as I can remember. I've considered buying this for years but I'm not a fan of heavy matte looking finishes so I was always wary, and the first time I swatched this the scent reminded me of that foundation smell of paint which I don't love . My usual favourite foundation is mac face and body and this is almost the opposite to that. I use a hydrating primer underneath as I find its best, and if I add some all nighters setting spray this looks almost dewy so you can definitely avoid a cake face. I apply with a beauty blender and it's generally fine but I can't seem to build this product at all, not in the slightest? I'm not sure why but I find if I try and add slightly more coverage it will disturb and remove the foundation underneath leaving me with horrible patches. It's something I've noticed also happens when I conceal under my eyes afterwards too. I don't mind too much as it's a small area but it's not ideal and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! I got the colour sand, which matches me well when I'm not fake tanned but I don't mind wearing extra bronzer when my body is more tanned, although I think I'm going to purchase a more warm tanned tone to match me better. The price isn't too crazy as it performs so I don't mind buying another shade as I'll need it in summer anyway if I keep using this. The staying power of this is not over hyped at all, it's fantastic and lasts all day long. Not just a 8 hour work day, it can stay looking beautiful well over 12 hours and beyond. I tend to use a blotting sheet at some point during the day as my skin is super oily so inevitably my skin will start getting a sheen at some point, but this blots beautifully. I can't be certain but I have suspicions that this is starting to break me out. I'm getting spots in places I would never usually get them. It's disappointing because I otherwise love this product but I don't want to sacrifice my skin for any makeup product so it's something I'll keep an eye on. I do really like this foundation so if I have to step up my skincare routine and products then I probably would but it's not ideal haha! Overall I do love this but I am still undecided because I'm sure it's giving me bloody spots! But I would recommend this, and the hype is well deserved! X

The product is supposed to provide gentle exfoliation to the skin. Skin is supposed to be clearer and brighter with a more lifted look. The product is identical to the New Dimension Serum (now discontinued) with fewer actives but the same fragrance.I find it too oily as a serum (but not enough hydration as a day cream even in the summer). Unfortunately it leaves a somewhat tacky feel after application that does not seem to absorbs. The product does contain an impressive array of actives and more the pity that it is not elegant enough for having the urge to apply it as an everyday treatment.INGREDIENTS: WATER\AQUA\EAU DIMETHICONE BUTYLENE GLYCOL CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE GLYCERIN BIS-PEG-18 METHYL ETHER DIMETHYL SILANE POLYSORBATE 20 LAURYL PEG-9 POLYDIMETHYLSILOXYETHYL DIMETHICONE POLYSILICONE-11 MANGIFERA INDICA (MANGO) SEED BUTTER PHOENIX DACTYLIFERA (DATE) FRUIT EXTRACT PISUM SATIVUM (PEA) EXTRACT CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT CRITHMUM MARITIMUM EXTRACT LAMINARIA OCHROLEUCA EXTRACT COMMIPHORA MUKUL RESIN EXTRACT TRITICUM VULGARE (WHEAT) GERM EXTRACT BAMBUSA VULGARIS (BAMBOO) EXTRACT CHLORELLA VULGARIS EXTRACT LAMINARIA SACCHARINA EXTRACT BRASSICA CAMPESTRIS (RAPESEED) STEROLS HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED EXTRACT ALGAE EXTRACT HYPNEA MUSCIFORMIS (ALGAE) EXTRACT SIGESBECKIA ORIENTALIS (ST. Was not sufficiently moisturizing for me, especially in the winter months. Overall, not too bad but not good enough to warrant repurchase.

I received this lip liner as a free sample. A full size costs $20. I was surprised to find that this liner went on a bit sheer and needed a little extra to be put on for it to be a useful lip liner. The tip also broke immediately at my first attempt to use. I also found the liner to be very sticky. On the positive side, the liner stands up pretty well to food, except for the inner part of the lip. If the liner was not sticky, it might actually be wearable without lipstick. Ultimately the reason I will not buy a full size of this lip liner is because of the stickiness.

I've been using Double Wear Nude for a week and a half.I started using it in the mornings, for work ... At first I noticed my eyes more watery than usual ando a bit red ... I thought it was due to the cold weather and pollution in the air ... then on the weekend I changed to my Avene Couvrance (it's what I always use on the weekends when I let my skin rest a bit from all the makeup I use during weekdays) and my eyes were fine. On monday I noticed my eyes became red inmediately after using it. On Tuesday I changed foundation for MAC Studio Fix Fluid and my eyes were fine again ... no problems. So it is the foundation ... and it's so sad because I've been using the original Double Wear for years without an issue.

I love estee lauders advanced night repair range, but not this mask. First of all it is messy to apply as you need to mix the pads with liquid and apart from hydrating a bit , i do not think it does anything special. I will continue using advanced eye repair matrix, which gave me really good results. As far as the masks goes, i think there are so many more effective mask for way cheaper price. For the last 3 years I use Caudalie's moisture mask on all the face including eye area , it is very gentle and truly makes a difference. I also love Elemis Absolute Eye Mask , which truly brightens and temporary tightens the area. I also absolutely love Caudalie's Resveratrol Lift Eye lifting Balm, thats the only product which makes very clear difference helps with eye bags and redness caused by lack of sleep. As long as i use this product , I doubt i often will need eye masks...

Bought the shade Tender Trap and it's exactly what i was looking for; a simple pink but not boring flat matte.Pros : its not heavy to wear, 1 swipe is enough and its pigmented, the tube case is magnetic so it closes really firmly.Cons: its too pricey for its quality. I guess you ca get the same shade with something less expensive. continued >>

I got 30 ml of this product twice in sets with some other products and it was ok, it cleaned nice, didn't irritate my skin but I don't like to buy expensive cleansers so probably won't use it again

I didn't like this one. Expensive, bad packaging and did nothing good for my eye area.

I love this product! I don't have a lot of lines around my eyes but that area was slightly dehydrated before I started using this. I tried many eye creams before including Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex and none of them gave me this results. I use less concealer after this and look well rested but I do agree it would be even better with different packaging. :)

I have combination skin (oily and dehydrated) and am in mid 20s. It’s a nice light coverage foundation that minimizes appearance of enlarged pores and diminishes slight redness whilst providing a natural finish and look. The shade section is nice. It has solid wear time before it starts to fade, and should not be put into the longwear range. The packaging is hideous and bulky and you get less product than usual at a higher price. I don’t use the cushion as it is too small, stiff and impractical. The Real Techniques Expert Brush works much better. I find it works well with Too Faced Hangover primer (and Caudalie pink moisturizer sorbet) and it is good for the wintertime. I always apply (setting) powder on top (Guerlain meteorites, Laura mercier or NARS). It doesn’t make my skin react: no pimples or anything similar. It’s a nice everyday foundation when you want to look like you wear nothing. A better option for medium coverage would be Armani Luminous Silk. For similar coverage Urban decay Naked is a good option too. I have shade 2N1 which matches with Urban Decay Naked 2.0 and Luminous Silk 4.5 I’m usually NC20.
