It’s like fast food in cosmetics... like so many Clinique products it serves the basic purpose without anything exciting and just the feeling it is fine. But as time goes by you see it isn’t. The clarifying lotions are even worse.

Cleansers -Clinique -Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

This is a great product, but you need to be aware of what it is and what it isn't. What it is: a makeup remover, and an amazing one at that. What it isn't: a cleanser. This will take your makeup off beautifully, but you will need to follow it up with an additional cleanser.

I'm absolutely terrible at remembering to take my makeup off, but since I bought this product (I'm on my 3rd tub of it now), I actually look forward to taking it off. It just feels so luxurious and nice that it makes me really want to use it.

it's actually a hate-love relationship.. I love the fact that :
- only a tiny drop on your finger will be enough for my whole face
- it's good as my make up base, my cheek tint spreads better, smoothly, and the color just pops out
- my skin looked healthier (on first to second day)
-moisturizes
BUT after my first night using it, i immediately had a white pimple on my cheek. I thought because I used to much of it, so I lessen the usage for my day routine. On the next day, the white pimple got bigger, and my pores got more noticeable! Oh God! But since I love it for my day routines, but hate the effects.. I decided to give it another week to see the progress but yep.nothing happened, except my bigger pores. So I'll just give it to my mom, then. Eventho' it's paraben free, fragrance free, etc etc, I think doesn't worth the price. Good luck guys, maybe it would be good on you, but not me.

Blush -Clinique -Chubby Stick Moisturizing Cheek Colour Balm in Amp'd Up Apple

This was my first try with cream blush and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.
This blush is very easy to apply and blend. It does disappear after a few hours on my oily skin but given the packaging and the easy way of applying the products, I don't mind bringing this around.

It is also the perfect everyday colour. I'd definitely re-purchase this.

Holy grail makeup remover! I use it as a first cleanse to remove my makeup.
A little goes a long way. I massage it onto dry skin and it immediately breaks down my makeup. To remove, I splash some water on my face and the balm turns into a light milk that rinses off very easily (or I use a damp washcloth). All of my makeup is gone and it doesn't leave a residue film behind. I can't speak to its efficacy at removing mascara or eyeliner because I have eyelash extensions, so I use Bioderma micellar water around the eyes.

My skin is sensitive, and acne-prone, but this did NOT break me out or cause any kind of reaction. I am starting Accutane now, so my skin is becoming more dry and sensitive and this still does not cause any irritation. I always follow up with a second cleanser (non-foaming) to actually cleanse the skin.

Eyeliner -Clinique -Quickliner for Eyes

I bought a full size right after trying a sample of the Intense version in the shade Intense Ebony. Bomb doesn't do it justice! Formula is ultra smooth, extra fine point tip, and waterproof within 60 secs. I haven't lined my waterline in ages but I like this so much now I do again...and I'm super picky about what I use! Everything about this is hella good even the price isn't terrible. One thing that's ridiculous that u can't unscrew it down back into the tube! Allegedly it's to keep air/bacteria out of the product but come on let's b real...it's so however much u unscrew u have to use or it breaks off and is smooshed in the cap. Obvs they want u to keep buying more and this is a sneaky way to make u do that. Really it's gonna go bad if u unscrew into the tube??! Not buying it and that really p$$3s me off! Aside from that issue, this is the best eyeliner I've ever used cuz not only can u get pencil looks it but it's so pigmented, fine tipped and waterproof--you can mimic a liquid liner cats eye without any fuss. Great product!

Stick -Clinique -Chubby in the Nude Foundation Stick

A little dark for fair skin(shade Intense Ivory). It's a little difficult to blend no matter what u use and I would def do 2 coats to get med coverage. It doesn't cover blemishes or spots very well but it kinda optically corrects them so they look ok. I don't powder over this cuz it's kinda dewy but not crazy. I think it's a nice product to keep if ur gonna do ur makeup away from home and just want a quick look. Overall tho, it's not worth the cost. It's less product than other stick foundations and doesn't work as well as others...in fact Wet n Wild has a chubby stick concealer that in a pinch can double as foundation and it's hella better than this and way cheaper. This might b nice for touch ups during the day but I never touch up, just Blotterazzi any shiny areas. If u touch up ur foundation tho this would b nice. The color and formula are pretty ok but not my HG.

BB Cream -Clinique -Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30

foto

Why this sux...it has a powdery finish that clings to every single flake and pore. Trying to blend this stuff is a nightmare! Fingers, brushes, sponges -they're all useless. It just kinda smears, looks weird/unblended and immediately clings to flakes/pores. I'd seen a lot of great reviews but this works nothing like they show on YouTube. I've used different moisturizers, primers, tried thinning it out with RCMA clear/oil..nothing makes it blend even remotely easy. The color however is pretty good once you finally get it on and looking somewhat normal. I'm super white so the very light shade was a good match color wise. I'm going to keep this tho and see if it applies better in the humid summer...a nice spf cc cream that dries to a powder would b ideal then so maybe it'll work. Just FYI this to me seems like full coverage. It's not like super thick or opaque but the magic stuff inside color corrects ur skin so it looks full coverage tho it's very light feeling...once u manage to get it blended. The only thing more full coverage than this imo would b Dermacol 208...which is totes opaque. I still say for BB and CC just skip all this junk and just buy Korean cuz they nailed it in BB/CC world!

Eye Shadow -Clinique -Soft-Pressed Eye Shadow

on 11/24/2017 3:41:00 PM

I received a free mini Jonathan Adler eyeshadow palette from CLINIQUE for purchasing one of their products. The colors looked useable but when I received it ... I wasn't exactly fond of the lack luster quality of the shadows. Barely pigmented, just a wash of color. I felt as lousy as it made me look when I tried the shadows for a day. Well, it was free.

Makeup Brushes -Clinique -Foundation Buff Brush

on 11/24/2017 8:59:00 AM

I fell in love with this brush the first time I used it. It makes my foundation look amazing. This is the Best Foundation Brush Ever! The Clinique Foundation Buff Brush is worth every penny of the $39.00 price tag. It works with cream, liquid and powder foundations. This blends my foundation to give it a flawless finish. It also has some antibacterial technology which I like for the hygiene aspect.

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique -Naturally Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

This is ok but I find the thick consistency means it drags a bit across your eyes when you wipe it off with cotton wipes, so there is some yanking on the delicate skin. I prefer an oil-water consistency that melts off the eye make up and you can gently dab at the eye with cotton wool/wipes.

Bought this based on the reviews and seemed like a simple cleansing process. Also I cant use a foaming cleanser so I hoped that this would not cause redness and rashes. I agree it does remove makeup with ease.

Well after a month of use I now have clogged pores and a few cystic acne patches. Its going to take a while to get rid of this congestion on my skin :( Not for ance prone skin.

Mascara -Clinique -High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara

I got a free sample of this at Sephora and I hate it. I wish I'd never put it on. This stuff won't come off! It is now day 3 and after washing with soap and water, using cold cream, and eye makeup remover, it's STILL on my lashes and I wake up in the morning with smudges under my eye. I also had about 4 lashes fall out. This mascara made my lashes stiff and brittle and like I said, some FELL OUT. I have normal lashes that are long and I've been told I have a lot, but after wearing this mascara I think more have fallen out then I thought. I'm literally about to cry. I usually just wear L'Oréal or Cover Girl mascaras and they work wonderfully, and now I really regret trying this mascara.

Love this super-rich formula. Berry Blush is plummy beige MLBB shade. I'm finding that as I age the shimmer is not as flattering, but I really like the formula. It's very soft, doesn't last long, but the shades are pretty.

Cleansers -Clinique -Liquid Facial Soap - Mild

foto

I was recommended by my grandmother who worked as a pharmacist in a cosmetic company. She said Clinique's one of the product who use high quality ingredients in the market. I have been using their liquid facial soap for about 3 years now. I have oily and sensitive skin. I get acne sometimes but that's quite rare. I live in a tropical country where the wheather is either hotter than sahara or its raining cats and dogs.

Honestly, first months after you converted to this product you will not notice any visible result .I was using L'oreal laser perfect sth facial foam and was doing fine with it, but I decided to see what's the fuss about this thing. I didnt have any break out nor have my face oil free. I'm still as slick as ever and I still get black heads and whiteheads. However, after few years I got bored and decided to experiment with other facial cleanser. Oh boy how it's a mess.

I practically break out of every facial cleanser I bought. The moment I use drugstore facial cleanser, on that same day my whole face raided with painful acnes. My skin gets so "thirsty" and mini bumps with puss grows. I have tried their mildest but apparently clinique spoiled my skin lots. I could only wash my face with LUSH's bar. By the time I went back to clinique my face calmed down in just 3 washes. I didnt need to use any of their anti acne line and my acne just disappeared and my skin felt plump again.

I had tried another clinique's facial foam in which i forgotten the name, but i broke out quite badly from that one too. I guess I'll be sticking to this one for a while. My verdict is I guess you get what you pay. And it is a quite good deal looking at what normal drugstore cleanser does to me. It provides your skin with proper ph, hydration, and cleansing. This product do not promise you with superficial enticing results but it promise to keep your skin in mint condition.
