Overall a good product. I didn't use it on my body rather than my face. Good moisture, a bit of white cast due to the mineral sunscreen.

Sunscreen -Coppertone -Sport Sunblock Lotion SPF 50

on 7/27/2015 11:34:00 AM

I live in Florida and this is my HG for water resistant and sweat resistant sunblock. I have used this for years. I know it is not supposed to be the best for the skin but let me tell you it works. It is better than a sunburn. I do on occasion get a blemish from using it on my face but I love to get out in the Sun too much to let the possibility of a blemish stop me. I get no stinging in my eyes. I have tried all sorts of sunscreens and I always come back to this. I will not go out in the Sun unless I have this on. I also have SPF 30 that I use as well. I swim laps, go out on the boat and play in the waves at the beach and know that this is all I need. I reapply every five hours except when I am in the water then I reapply every two hours. Reapplication would depend on the individual. I highly recommend Coppertone Sport for active people especially.

The good: It's for sensitive skin and has sunscreen ingredients that aren't "bad" like oxybenzone and what not.

The bad: OH MY GROSSING GOD! THIS IS SO GREASY AND THICK! But I don't know what I was expecting. It is a physical sunscreen and it is a cheap one, too. It didn't leave a white cast on my hand but when I put it on my arms it got caught at the base of my arm hairs (and I refuse to shave my arms. I don't have time to care about that area) and I couldn't rub it in as much as I tried. I gave up and was left with the white on my arms. I definitely don't recommend for darker skin tones (Or any skin tone). I think the package said it was non comedogenic so I was going to use it on my face as well but I don't recommend it since it's so greasy. I returned it the same day.

Sunscreen -Coppertone -Oil Free Faces Sunscreen Lotion

I like this sunscreen for the most part because it doesn't break me out. However I have extremely oily skin, and despite this being oil free it is very greasy on me. It feels like it never absorbs into my skin, and it makes me more oily. I still wear this though as it was the only sunblock for my face I had at the moment, and wearing some is better than not wearing any at all. However I don't recommend wearing this if you have oily skin & you'll be wearing makeup. I suggest other products for that.

LOVE this facial sunscreen!!! Finally found a SS for my face that won't break me out, not oily, not drying and won't break the bank! I'm seeing ppl complain about the smell. Well, I have one helluva sniffer and this isn't that bad IMO. Goes away in seconds! I love the feel of this lotion! I wish I could find a night time moisturizer with this same texture for my combo skin. Wears extremely well under my Youngblood loose mineral powder foundation without causing it to break up at all. I've tried many HE & LE SS, although there are many I really liked, so many have the ingredient SODIUM CHLORIDE in them and that breaks me out badly!!! Gonna buy the SPF 50 version of this today as well ;)

~EDIT~
Sadly, I did start breaking out. Skin cleared after I stop using this.

good packaging, comes with a pump (small travel-sized) so you can control amount easily, however, this sunscreen balls up on my face when I try to rub it into my skin, so I won't be buying again.
I do like that there is a spray version and has SPF 50 which is necessary for California summer weather

Self Tanners -Coppertone -Endless Summer Sunless Tanning Foam Medium/Dark

LOVE this stuff! I think the fact that it goes on with a foam texture helps to spread it out more evenly. The foam spreads very well, and has a good smell. I think people have different reactions with self tanners though, because some may like a tanner, and someone else may not. It also depends on how you apply it on your skin. This makes a world of difference. For me, this one has worked very well. Very happy with it and recommend highly. Good price as well!

My HG body sunscreen.

Yes, it's thick and takes a while to dry down, but it's worth it. Zero color ever when I use the right amount, and I don't have to wait 20 minutes before it starts to work if I slap it on quickly five minutes before I rush out the door.

I use it on my arms and chest for my daily commute, along with a higher PPD ss under my makeup on my face.

I have super sensitive skin and have never had a reaction with this. I used it on my face for several months during a particularly dry spell and it was good then and worked under my makeup.

I get an 8 ounce bottle for less than $12 and if they're BOGO half off I stock up.

Sunscreen -Coppertone -Coppertone Water Babies SunScreen Lotion SPF 50

I've recently started using the spray lotion form of this sunscreen, but I've been using Coppertone Water Babies since I was ten years old, after a nasty burn while using that color-changing Coppertone Kids stuff...remember that? They claimed it was waterproof for "up to" 6 hours. I've tried lots of other sunscreens on my body and this is the only one that'll keep me from frying. I'm part Scottish and super pale, so I have to reapply every 2-3 hours with this stuff and if I go outside without any sun protection, I seriously start burning and freckling within 30 minutes. Other sunblocks don't even last an hour on my skin. As others have stated, I can't use this stuff on my face, but that's okay. I prefer using something formulated for the more delicate skin there anyway. If anyone is curious, I've been using the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face & Body Stick Sunscreen in SPF 70 on my face, both under and over my makeup and I'm really liking it so far.

My sun exposure on a year round daily basis is quite low but, during the summer or days that I have to drive, I protect my arms and upper chest no matter what. I use more expensive, cosmetically elegant SPF on my face because the texture of this is way too heavy and sticky for me, but it works fine for my body. I apply baby powder on top to get rid of the stickiness. It provides really good protection and I haven't tanned at all since I've started using it consistently.

1 lippie docked for the texture and finish.

Self Tanners -Coppertone -Endless Summer Sunless Tanning Gradual Tan Moisturizing Lotion

PROS

- scent
- easy to apply
- looks natural
- price
- absorbs quickly

CONS

- none

COMMENTS: This is such a great gradual tanner. The results are a very natural, golden tan. I apply this daily, since this is not an instant tanner. I do notice results fairly quick, but because it's more subtle I can apply this as often as I want. Don't expect intense results with this, even with daily application. The scent is pleasant and doesn't smell like your typical self tanner. I don't get any streaks or mistakes with this. The application is easy and absorbs quickly. I don't have anything bad to say about this product. Definitely my new favorite gradual tanner.

Will repurchase.

This is thick sunscreen however it is the best for protecting my skin from sunburns. It does have a white cast but that is why you let it absorb for 15 minutes before going out. If you get water on it without proper absorbing it will pebble but that lets you know it is a protective layer over your skin. Best sunscreen for me! Buying some for my trip to Mexico

NW13. True Summer coloring.

Maybe it's my dry winter skin, but this is shockingly nice for a face sunscreen. Most drugstore sunscreens from the United States are greasy, eye-stinging, white-casty messes.

This one does feel oily at first, but once you shake it up and blend it into your skin, it sinks right in and provides a moisturized base.

It does not sting my eyes when it evaporates/sinks in. It does initially have a white cast, but that fades after 1-2 minutes.

Very impressed. Not HG, but note-worthy.

I'm taking this back. When I wash my face it feels raw and red. Does not burn going on, only in conjunction with my cleanser. I don't think it made me break out but it also has a super strong sunscreen smell. Not a fan.

This is my current eye-area sunblock. It has a little bit of a weird smell, but it isn't very noticeable. I like that it doesn't have the typical sunscreen smell or any other added fragrance. I can't generally use chemical sunscreens on my face because they sting my eyes, but this is thick enough with a high enough melting point to avoid running in the eyes. It goes on very easily and completely clear. It does feel very sticky/gummy on the face throughout the day. Cetyl Alcohol tends to break me out, so I will avoid using this all over my face, but I think I can get away with it around my eyes until I find an alternative. Unlike many sticks in drugstores, I am glad that this does not contain C12-15 alkyl benzoate as that realy irritates my eyes.
