This is perfect for liner or just to deepen the outer v and all over the lid for a sexy smokey eye. Its super super pigmented and its very versatile. I have this and cordura(right side in the duo) and mekong is darker and more pigmented. Cordura leans on the grey side. Id recommend this shade if you need something dark almost black and to work as a liner.

I been using this foundation on and off since it has come out. I use it mostly in spring and summer only. I have a hate and love relationship with this one. It is a very watery liquid formula and the pump dispenser just not the most effective. I almost think this formula would be best in a cushion foundation. I would say you get a good medium coverage at best. It dries down to a satin matte finish and is hd camera ready. I got it to last for a good 6 hours using the Nars primer underneath and then light dusting of silica powder to set. But if you dont the finish doesnt last as long.

This is one of the most beautiful looking foundations right after it is applied. Gives a radiant, natural glow. I am super oily and it slid off my face within 2 hours. Update: Tried with a mattifying primer and it lasted much better. The finish truly is amazing. Idk if I’ll repurchase.

This one is probably my favorite bronzer. I can contour with it or just add warmth without those shimmer particles being apparent. My skintone is Clinique even better Cream Caramel or NC44-ish in MAC. This is my first Nars product and I'm very impressed. The compact is gorgeous and sleek, expensive looking, which it is at $40! Come with a mirror, too. The bronzer is a very smooth powder that doesn't kick back, looks the perfect shade of deep brown in the pan. Due to my love if this item I intend to purchase many more products from Nars.

Let me start by saying I'm 63 - I'm saying that with all my reviews because products loved by younger women may be off for more mature skins.I stopped using toners years ago because they were either too superficially drying or left a film on my face.I read some reviews and wanted something to prep my face for foundation without feeling heavy or stripping.First, THE BOTTLE! Great design with a pump! And square! The other itself is fantastic: light, fresh and soothing. Sets your skin up for moisturizer and foundation.Expensive (just under $30) but the pump will keep you from dumping product on a cotton ball.NARS is a Shiseido-owned company for those who want to know. I've skipped NARS skincare over the years but purchased a couple of things on a whim.OK, bender.

Surprised by the low score, I really am loving this product.. I have it in the shade "Bound", which is a muted berry mauve tone. I like the texture, longevity, the applicator, and the feel of this on my lips.. I will definitely purchase more shades! 💄💋

I love this stuff. I’ve been using it for years. It makes my face look great. The colour range is good for us paler people, the coverage is good and looks natural, and the staying power is excellent.
I am grateful that I stocked up since Nars is no longer cruelty free and I will not but their products. Now this is only used for special ocassions and I use idun minerals or trish mcevoy otherwise.

Bought it because people said so, but this primer is bullshit. If u got oily lids it does nothing for you. Bought a $3 Wet n wild PhotoFocus primer that does it for me. This is money in the sea.

I really like this! I have the pressed version and it diffuses my pores quite well.

I've been experimenting with foundations since I was a girl. From the drug store to the department store, it has always been a guessing game with color matching and at least one or more compromises in terms of color, formula, and finish. Which is why I'm so very grateful to Sephora for having a color match system to help the process and to Nars for introducing the Vallauris color for Medium skin with pink undertones. As a now middle-aged beauty junkie, I'm very picky with the formulas of foundations but it's also usually where you make your first compromise. Having used full bottles of both Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and Chanel Luminous Velvet Mattte in the last three years and loved them both for different reasons, I can tell you that this is more similar to GA LS in consistency and finish however it provides more coverage than GA LS. The wearability and feel of the foundation, however is more similar too Chanel LVM. All these foundations spread nicely with fingers and my Real Technique flat top stipple brush but for the NARS version, the fingers or a rubber makeup triangle proved to be the easiest way to go to get the Nars' promised finish, which is gorgeously natural almost like finish you get from the new Les Beiges from Chanel but way less shiny and not at all greasy like the Les Beiges. For the first time in my life, I wasn't compelled to reach for the setting powder after applying this foundation. I just loved how it looked after I stopped blending it and I quickly wiped off all my makeup from the other side of my face in Sephora JCP and put the Sheer Glow on everywhere. I later left the store with my new Holy Grail foundation, but I wasn't told that the pumps don't come with their foundation bottles and was a bit disappointed at home thinking about how messy this bottle was going to get without a pump. Stores should have pumps in stock though.

I had heard nothing but raves about this range so I blind bought two shades; Anita (pinky MLBB) and Brigitte (medium brightening peachy pink)The colors are great, both very flattering everyday shades for my fair warm toned complexion. The packaging is substantially hefty and I like the magnetic closure but there are others I find more aesthetically pleasing like Chanel, YSL or the most recent Estee Lauder. Since we're talking about an expensive item these details matter. They apply easily with good color payoff and last very well without drying my lips. No detectable scent or taste and albeit being long lasting they can been removed easily without staining the lips. The thing is they transfer and don't melt on the lips, look more like sitting there accentuating any texture issues. There are other formulations I like better like the MAC Amplified which has all the above advantages while looking smoother, feeling lighter and costing less.Nice but I expected this to be my new HG lipstick range.

This foundation is the REAL MVP!!! I've honestly lost count of how many times I've repurchased this product over the last 5 years. Every time I decide to try another foundation 'just to see' (and I've tried numerous) I always come back to sheer glow. My favourite things about this foundation are the consistency and build-ability. It's quite runny and feels very light on the skin, and the coverage on one application is light. But, layer this on 2-3 times and you'll actually get a very substantial medium (even verging on full) coverage, without looking cakey or dull. It's honestly a godsend for those with skin on the drier end of the scale who need varying levels of coverage (good skin times/bad skin times). I probably wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types or those with very dark scarring however. TLDR; I will purchase this foundation forever and ever and ever amen.

I’m 63 w/combo skin with some breakouts and rosacea. I think I have a PhD in foundations. At this age, I want light layers that I can build if necessary and this works for me - but ONLY if you apply it the using the “NARS technique:” warm in hand, dab and massage. Start in the middle and work out.Beauty Blenders, brushes, even the Clarisonic foundation brush make it look like paint primer. But the warmth of your hand makes it break down.(Insert eye roll here.) I cocktail fair 1 & 2 and I actually get something that doesn’t look like foundation - just better skin. I use a q-tip to mix in my hand. And it takes me 5-ish minutes to get it on.So if you’re in a hurry, this isn’t for you. But for my older skin with fine lines, it looks as good as foundation is going to look.P.S. I use a boatload of sunscreen underneath and a spray of Smashbox primer then a spray of MAC Fix plus after.

Deep Throat is an amazing blush, one which I use constantly and will always have in my collection. The shade is a gorgeous warm pink, with a hint of peach and a pretty golden sheen which adds a natural glow and dimension to the face. This blush is very pigmented so you only need a light hand. This means that the blush will last you a long time, a blessing as these blushes are quite expensive. This blush adds a healthy flush to the face, and is incredibly flattering. It makes me look alive, healthy and put together. It applies smoothly and easily, the formula is buttery and smooth. I adore this blush! I highly recommend it.
