Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous Original

I've used this mascara for years. However, my last tube, bought at Target, was a thick, clumpy mess. Maybe just a quality control issue, but I'm done with it. Looking for something better.
In the past, I used it because it left my very thin, pale lashes soft, and was easy to remove, so not too much lash loss.

Shampoo -L'Oreal -Elvive Extraordinary Oil - Nourishing Shampoo for Dull, Dry Hair

It works OK, but I'm always trying new drug store shampoo's, so I probably would only purchase it again if there wasn't anything else I was interested in trying. It didn't dry my hair out, it isn't expensive, it smelled OK, but it didn't make my hair any shinier than any other shampoo's that I've tried before.

Nothing spectacular + clumpsy.

Eye Primer -L'Oreal -Color Riche

This is a very reasonably priced eye-shadow primer but it's pretty useless: the colour is nice but the consistency (very thick) and the application method (pen/stick) are far from ideal. It does prolong the wearing of shadows but it's almost impossible to apply it. You either end up with too much to the extent that it's visible with lighter shadows, or with too little which results in a very patchy shadow application. All in all very disappointing.

Hair -L'Oreal -Feria Starry Night

So I had Splat Pink Fetish Hair. With Splat Blue...something. Anyway. I mixed those on my ends and had blue and purple. I used oops a couple weeks later thinking itd take it out...oops. It didnt. So since I needed to change it to something less provocative I went to get a black. I saw Starry Night Feria. I loved the blue undertones. Well. I put it right on top of my pink hair. Now I have the coolest black and blue hair and when the sun or a bright light hits it there are still shines of pink and purples. The dye wasn't made for dyed hair. I knew that something would be off. But it was a good off. I love my hair pink and would keep it that way but my job won't allow unicorn hair lol. Now I can blend in beautifully and the glow my pink hair off in the sun! Eat that inside job!!!

Styling Products -L'Oreal -Advanced Hairstyle Air Dry It Wave Swept Spray

foto

Growing my hair out, to get rid of a bad choice to bleach it platinum last summer.
This calls for a lot of moisture, regular trims and absolutely no heated styling tools. I needed an alternative to get by while waiting for the damage to grow out. Hence this bad choice. I'm starting to see a trend.

I have medium length, layered, damaged, straight, fine hair. I used this after shampoo and conditioner. I ran it through my hair, and let it air dry, scrunching every three or so minutes. It took forever to dry.

It didn't give me soft beachy waves. It gave me small, multiple crusty and crunchy tendrils of hair, mixed with dry frizzy tangles. Complete mess. The smell to me isn't as bad as others have claimed. I actually can't smell it at all. It's basically watered down hair gel mixed with a light conditioner in a spray bottle.

I used it on my daughter's thick, pristeen long hair, just to see if it was not compatible with my hair type and really a good product. We applied it wet, braided her hair and waited for it to dry. Same result. Her hair looked dirty.

That bottle seriously belongs in the 80's and looks cheap.

Don't waste your time and money. I need to make better hair choices.

Bronzers -L'Oreal -Paris True Match Lumi Bronze It Bronzing Powder

I have this in the shade Light. This is a new L'Oreal bronzer and it's gorgeous. I hate orange bronzers and really struggle finding a shade I like. This is extremely neutral but doesn't veer to the cool side. It appears to have shimmer in the pan but on the face it's just glowy goodness. It blends beautifully, never patchy. It's buildable but I do have to work just a little to go overboard. The pan is ginormous. I'd say this is less powdery than Physician's Formula butter bronzer. And shade wise, I'd say this is a hint less orange and more neutral and the Physician's Formula butter bronzer in Bronze. I prefer this bronzer to the butter bronzer. This is currently the bronzer I reach for over any others. LOOOOVE it.

Mascara -L'Oreal -Waterproof Voluminous Carbon Black

I love waterproof L’Oreal Voluminous mascaras, in general. This one is another great mascara in their line, except that t sometimes left black smudge marks on my upper lid/browbone (an area not typically oily on me). I would use it again but would opt for another voluminous mascara first.

Of my nearly 2+ decades purchasing various L'Oreal mascara formulas this has got to be the worst.
The brush is thoroughly absurd in how it holds and applies product.
The handle is rather large and bulky for me and I do not have small hands. Because of this design I have nearly dropped the confounded thing numerous times.
Because the brush design is IMO idiotic it makes application thick, clumpy and uneven, especially when attempting to apply to the inner lash area.
I learned to roll the mascara wand through my lashes while applying mascara. Impossible with this peculiar brush.
When switching hands one must be mindful to align the brush to the lashes or else nothing will apply.
After application I need a lash comb to immediately separate my lashes. Otherwise I'd have thick spikes of spider legs for lashes. Not the look I want.
I have needed to use another mascara brands brush to spread the mascara through my lashes. By doing this my lashes finally look nice, but the time and work involved makes this product go to my epic fail category.

I really liked this mascara ,esp for a drugstore lower cost item.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal -Infallible

Disappointing! I use other products from L OReal and repurchase them. This pencil breaks easily and often. The pencil drags when applying.

I purchased this palette on sale in order to give the palette a try. I like the range of colors; nice pigment as well. The fallout is minimal too.

i haven't worn foundation before that.I bought it 2 years ago.It was good cause it lasted 3 hours. Then i thought that since it says 24 hours ,it should last at least 6.Nope.After 2 years ,it lasts only 3.Unfortunately i haven't found a better foundation.I bought lancome air de teint and it was worse. The same with smashbox studio skin.So i recommend it cause it is cheap and i haven't found anything better.2 days ago i bought smashbox photo finish primer and it helps stay 7-8 hours. But alone only 3.So if you can afford it(30 euros),buy the smashbox primer

Liquid -L'Oreal -True Match Liquid Foundation (All Shades)

I am reviewing the UK version which comes with a pump.
If you have oily skin, i would not recommend it. First, it has shimmer in it. It is not that obvious once I put it on my face but I don't like it for my oily skin. Second, no matter how careful I blend it out, it looks very unnatural and not like skin. Third, the price is on the higher end of the drugstore. ELF foundation performed much better with half the price.
I bought it coz one of my fav yoituber said this is her HG for mature skin. In my opinion, it would cake up like crazy if you have mature skin with fine lines. Dry skin ppl might give it a try coz it is dewy and not oily controlling.

First off, the shade selection is ridiculous. The latest shade was still way too dark for me. It had an orange tint right from the time I applied it. It applies nicely, I'll say that. When I first applied it the finish was excellent, although I did look like a walking pumpkin (tried it on a day I knew I wouldn't be leaving the house). It doesn't wear very well at all. Within a few hours it was separating and there were large patches of my face where it was just completely gone. It also made my undereye area look horrendous. It was settling into very fine lines and made me look about 10 years older than I actually am. I will not use this again.
