Let me start by describing my skin type. I'm 37 years old and have very large pores around T-zone, light pink to light brown acne scars (fading very slowly), and ice pick scars from severe acne outbreaks in my 20s. Currently I have oily T-zone and very dry skin in other parts of my face (combo skin type). I purchased both "light" and "fair" since I'm NC 15 to NC 20 depending on the season and how much sun exposure I had. Here are my thoughts about the CC+ illuminating cream:Pros (I gave 2 stars for the following reason):- FULL coverage for me - Dewy or sparkling finish - personally I prefer the dewy and sparkling finish, so this is a benefit for me. If you are looking for a MATTE finish, this cc cream is not for you.- Easy to blend due to many silicone ingredients- Lasts for at least 6 hours for my t-zone oily areas - I don't expect miracles since many natural makeup are just not as long lasting as the "chemical filled" makeup. So anything that lasts about 6 hours is good with me. I blot the oil spot by the end of 6th hour and dab a little more of the cc cream for touch up.- Cruelty free according to the website- Made in Korea - if you like the Korea brands of BB or CC cream, this cc cream's ingredients mimic the Korean BB or CC cream with dewy coverage except it's pricey. You can buy cheaper Korean BB or CC cream like the Missha brand which they claim to be cruelty free according to Missha's website, but it's for sale in China, so technically Missha still tests on animals since they sale their products in China. Also, many Korean brands BB or CC creams contain parabens and fragrances, I'm really not a big fan of their ingredients.Cons:- Can enhance dry spots - I have to make sure I fully moisturize my dry areas and "prep" my skin before I layer this CC cream, otherwise it will enhance dry spots and peeling issues.- Oxidizes into orange tone - this is especially true for the "light" color. Both the "fair" and "light" oxidize into weird orange shade, but the "light" shade is much worse then the "fair" shade. I looked like I was wearing an "orange" mask at the end of the day.- Causes whiteheads and bumps - I was only able to this cc cream for 1 week and I had to discontinue using this since I figured out that this cc cream was the culprit of breakout. I have not change any of my skin care products for more than 6 months, no lifestyle changes (eating healthy vegetarian diet, exercise 3 times per week, taking antioxidants) and my skin was in great condition before I started using this cc cream. I'm not surprised that this cc cream caused breakout since it has way too many ingredients and the more ingredients there are in a product, the more likely skin irritation may occur if you are prone to break out (I counted the ingredients on the list, this cc cream contains ~91 ingredients).- Not vegan - this cc cream contains "snail secretion filtrate". The idea is the snail mucin from its secretion can help exfoliate skin and promote healing. However, there's no strong evidence that snail secretion filtrate really improves skin complexion compare to using glycolic acid products or antioxidant serum like vitamin C. Also, in order to make snails increase their secretion, you have to subject snails in an stressful environment to make them secrete their mucus. Although the snails are not killed during this process, I'm not a big fan of placing any creatures in stressful condition for the production of a cosmetic. I prefer "vegan" cosmetic products.I'm returning this cc cream since they cause break outs on me. I personally prefer Jane Iredale BB cream SPF 25 or Lauren Brooke cream SPF 30 foundation plus Honest Beauty primer to give me extra dewy finish that I love (all are vegan and cruelty free) instead of this cc cream.

As someone with quite a lot of redness in the skin I was looking for something just to cover these parts as I hate wearing a full face of Foundation. My redness is mainly on the nose, chin and sides of nose - pretty sure it’s Rosacea! It’s very annoying so I bought this due to amazing reviews. It’s quite a thick creamy texture which when patted on lightly with fingers can actually make pores appear smaller. The main problem with this is the colour - it’s almost a dirty red brown colour and as someone with quite fair skin it almost creates darker patches on the skin. Now this might not be so obvious to other people but in certain lights the darker patches can be seen. The thing is sometimes this stuff can be really good especially when I’m not at work and just literally want to cover some of the redness up in a non maintenance kind of way. It looks like they have made other shades but they aren’t available in the UK - not sure why! But I’d probably be more keen on this stuff if it was a lighter shade!

First, I did not pay for this mascara. I received an email from Ulta to print out a coupon for a free sample bottle. Without mascara, my eyelashes are long and I have a good amount on both top and bottom. I think this mascara may be for someone who needs thickness. It tends to be on the clumpy side and very thick. It's ok, but I am glad that I received it as a sample and did not spend my $$ on purchasing a full size.

I'll be short and sweet: this product is utter #@$&! I tested it at Sephora on one half of my face (Milk foundation on the other. BTW that one seemed to work great!), and the coverage was pathetic, my skin looked dull, and it accentuated all of my pores. Worst of all, it broke me out instantly! I wore it for a couple of hours that evening, then took it off at home. The following morning, sure enough, three pimples on the side of my face I tested the CC on!! The scary part is, I almost blamed my HG serum for the pimples! Now, that's just evil, CC! Shame on you! And don't get me started on the sky-high price tag!

I fiiiiiiinally found an undereye concealer that works for me! I have moderate dark circles, some minor wrinkling, under-eye bags and a very oily eye area. I have tried and rejected so, so many undereye concealers. This one is my jam but there are some tricks to making this concealer work for me.This concealer is *thick* and concentrated. I squeeze out the amount that would fit on the head of a pin and don't even end up using all of it despite my dark circles being pretty bad. A lot of the issues I read in previous reviews are due to using way, way too much product. It's best to use much less than you think you will need, blend it out and add more if you need it. I apply a very small amount with a concealer brush to spread it out and then tap it in with my ring finger until it's blended. If you are using this like it's a thinner concealer you apply with a doe-foot applicator and then you try to blend it out with a BB it's going to be a gloppy mess. This concealer covers and wears very well. Despite the oiliness of my eye area this stays on until I remove it at the end of the day. I do sometimes prime underneath if I have any flakiness as this product will cling to flakes. I generally powder over top but it's more to keep my general oiliness from melting my mascara and doesn't seem to make much of a difference when it comes to wear time. I get a tiny bit of creasing but I have never come across a product that doesn't crease at all and this seems to crease less than anything else. This is a pretty expensive product at $32 CAD but given the tiny amount I use it will take me at least a year to work my way through the entire tube. Previously, I was going through a tube of Maybelline Fit Me every month so the value here is much better.I absolutely love the packaging! Not because it's especially glam but because the tiny tube opening is very, very sanitary. No bacteria is getting in there which is better for your health plus it prolongs the longevity of the product. Any liquid/cream/gel that doesn't come with a pump or in a squeeze tube deserves a Viking funeral. So far this seems to be invisible in photos but I haven't looked at it in a dark room / bright flash situation just yet. I will update when I get there!Pros:-high coverage / concentrated product-long wearing-great value due to low cost per wear-sanitary packaging-looks great in photos-minimal creasingCons:-a bit more work to blend than other concealers

I liked the coverage and color of this. It did a good job of disguising my redness and making my face look brighter and healthier. Sadly, like many others, it made me breakout after only 2 uses. I have sensitive skin, so I thought it was just me. But I read many reviews online at Sephora and it seems pretty unanimous that something in this makes a whole lot of people breakout. And badly. I don't have a problem with pimples other than 1 or 2 very small blemishes sometimes that usually go away within a couple of days. But this gave me big red deep pimple on my face.

This has become my favorite concealer for covering the occasional annoying zit that inevitably pops up to spoil important events such as weddings or job interviews.Bye Bye Breakout has a wand applicator with a doe's foot sponge tip. The tiny bottle contains only 0.39 ounces of product and the price is $28. However, it's been worth the splurge for me. The first time I tried it, I had one stubborn spot on my chin and was going to be photographed. Shuddering to think that the blemish would be immortalized in family pictures, I bought this. It worked better for me than my usual MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer (the cream in the flip-top clamshell pot). This is a full coverage concealer that does a great job of camouflaging the blemish. Here's why I feel that it performed better than my MAC concealer - it did not make the area around the spot look cracked or scaly or flaky. To my relief, the nasty little volcano was not visible in the photos. When I removed my makeup at the end of the day I was happy to see that the zit had shrunk. It was not completely gone but it was a noticeable improvement.I've continued to use Bye Bye Breakout as needed. I don't have as many breakouts as I did in my teen years due to the fact that my skin produces less oil than it used to and I'm diligent about skin care. But when I have to reach for this concealer, I'm really pleased with how well this covers up acne and treats it at the same time. Not a cure-all, but worth the money to me.I chose the lightest color, Fair. For reference, here are some of the foundation colors I wear in case that helps you determine your shade: NC20 in MAC, Sand in Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation (the original liquid, not the newer Long-Wear version), Y225 in Make Up For Ever HD, Beige 10 in Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet, and 52 Vanille in Bourjois Healthy Mix. Tap it in and blend the edges carefully. If you rub it in, you don't get the same coverage. A word of caution:Because this has acne-fighting agents in it, it is for covering up blemishes and is not intended for use around the eyes.Ingredients as listed on It Cosmetics Website:CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, AQUA/WATER/EAU, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, PEG/PPG-18/18 DIMETHICONE, ISODODECANE, SILICA, PROPANEDIOL, DIMETHICONE, LAURYL PEG/PPG-18/18 METHICONE, POLYSILICONE-11, PEG-10 DIMETHICONE, MAGNESIUM ALUMINUM SILICATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, POLYGLYCERYL-4 ISOSTEARATE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, DECYL GLUCOSIDE, CETYL PEG/PPG-10/1 DIMETHICONE, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, METHICONE, HEXYL LAURATE, MELALEUCA ALTERNIFOLIA (TEA TREE) LEAF WATER, ZINC OXIDE, RUBUS IDAEUS (RASPBERRY) FRUIT EXTRACT, GENTIANA LUTEA ROOT EXTRACT, SACCHARUM OFFICINARUM (SUGAR CANE) EXTRACT, LITHOSPERMUM ERYTHRORHIZON ROOT EXTRACT, COLLOIDAL OATMEAL, SODIUM HYALURONATE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, GLYCOLIC ACID, SALICYLIC ACID, ALLYL METHACRYLATES CROSSPOLYMER, KAOLIN, HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN, HYDROLYZED SILK, ACETYL OCTAPEPTIDE-3, ACETYL HEXAPEPTIDE-8, SULFUR, RETINYL PALMITATE, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, GLYCERIN, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, BETA-GLUCAN, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT, GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA (LICORICE) ROOT EXTRACT, CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA (MATRICARIA) FLOWER EXTRACT, HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA (WITCH HAZEL) LEAF EXTRACT, CALENDULA OFFICINALIS FLOWER EXTRACT, SALIX ALBA (WILLOW) BARK EXTRACT, MENTHA VIRIDIS (SPEARMINT) LEAF EXTRACT, CURCUMA LONGA (TURMERIC) ROOT EXTRACT, C12-15 ALKYL BENZOATE, TRIBEHENIN, CERAMIDE NG, PEG-10 RAPESEED STEROL, PALMITOYL HEXAPEPTIDE-12, STEARETH-20, N-HYDROXYSUCCINIMIDE, CHRYSIN, PALMITOYL TRIPEPTIDE-1, PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE-7, MAGNOLIA ACUMINATA BARK EXTRACT, CHRYSANTHEMUM PARTHENIUM (FEVERFEW) EXTRACT, AGARICUS BISPORUS EXTRACT, POTASSIUM SORBATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, [+/-: TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), IRON OXIDES (CI 77492, CI 77491, CI 77499)].

Bought this after debating between and the Dior Lip Glow. (I tried the Dior Lip Glow in coral and it went from a gorgeous peach to a hideous fuschia!) I am so glad I spent $20 on this and decided to skip the Dior Lip Glow. I have never been one who uses traditional lipstick and lip gloss, so I am always on the lookout for a tinted lip balm/stain. Je Ne Sais Quoi glides on and creates a very subtle, natural pink. I am usually a chap stick/balm user and this is my new everyday favorite! Pros: MoisturizingLong lastingWorks with your ph so the color is super natural and flatteringNo "lipstick" tasteNo sticky lip gloss feeling

Love the it lash primer .I actually really like the thin applicator brush and use it on my eyebrows as a filler. I apply using really light strokes in a upward motion .,beginning in the front and slowly working my way to the end of my brow. There are many ways to apply it . I just like to concentrate on the areas where the hair on my eyebrows is sparse .When the product is almost gone and slightly dried out it really looks more realistic when applying to eyebrows. I love the applicator brush so much I keep it long after the product is gone . I cleani it off and dip it into mascara and other products.

My skin is super sensitive. My eyes are even more sensitive than my skin if such a thing is possible. Whatever skin care that I use somehow gets into my eyes and then the next day, I have water works all day long. This is probably one of the few products that does not do that. I don’t think it is very moisturizing but I think it has a firming effect. I cannot say that I saw a drastic change in a day but it does thighten the skin. My skin is usually signaling oily but since using this product, I have not experienced as much oiliness which is a great thing. So I highly recommend this for oily skin.

The It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser is a great new facial cleanser that does a superb job at removing makeup and leaving your face as a nice clean canvas for your serums and makeup. I appreciate that they have included beneficial ingredients, unfortunately these don't spend much time on my skin, but I figure it can't hurt. This is a decent size bottle that will last me quite a while and it is a decent price for a more prestige brand. I like that this didn't dry out my skin the way many cleansers do. It Cosmetics CC cream lives up to the hype! I've been using this product every time I do my makeup since I got it about 5 months ago. I am in love with the shade Medium. It evens out my skin easily and gives my skin a really warm golden glowy tone to it. My skin is dry and NC 25-30 and because of adaptability of the product, I can wear this shade year round. Most foundations really accentuate my dry patches but this product seems to camouflage them. This product doesn't break me out and is easy to remove! I like that I don't have to scrub it off or have a tedious makeup removal routine like I would have with some heavy duty foundations. I set it with a translucent powder and if i need a bit more coverage I buff a little Bare Minerals over the top and I look naturally flawless. Also can't beat the high SPF!

I have actually replaced this at least three times, it's that good. I just caved on my wanderlust and am going to try something else, but I have had very little desire to, I and that is really unusual for me. I love the full coverage and yet it bonds with my skin to a pleasantly natural look. I think my skin has improved for wearing it and I can't think of any else I would say that about.

Naturally Pretty™ includes 14 anti-aging shadows that, with a tap of the bonus Transforming Pearl shade, turn from matte to radiant pearl for endless eye-opening color combinations. Shades can be worn alone or mixed together, wet or dry, and as shadows or liners, making this the ideal palette for every IT Girl’s makeup collection! The shadows are all formulated in the USA.I debated and debated about getting this palette and finally just did it after going back and forth for a while. It comes in a soft pink velvet type of case with a magnetic closure. I kept the box and put it back in the box after I use it to help keep it cleaner. Not a fan of the packaging, what were they thinking? How hard is it to make a palette that you can clean? I will probably use it up before it gets too dirty. It has 14 very usable matte shades. The 15th color is larger than the others and is a transforming pearl. At first I thought it was kind of gimmicky but I actually use it a lot. I use it on the brow bone and also to soften other colors while blending if I feel one is a bit darker than I want. I find these shadows extremely high quality. There is zero fallout and they are plenty pigmented for me, buttery, glide onto the lid, blend like a dream and stay put all day. I have to be careful to not get too much on the brush because it just takes a little. I don’t even feel the need to tap my brush. The pigment is just perfect. Sometimes too much pigment is not something I want if I don’t have time to spend 30 minutes blending. These blend very well and have just enough pigment and unlike many (or most) mattes they never look chalky or powdery. They are very smooth and silky. Anastasia has so many pretty mattes and I have many of them but almost all of them are so powdery compared to these. If I use my ABH shadows, I always do my eyes first because of the fall out. That problem is non-existent with this palette. If you are looking for bold and exciting this is not for you or you are going to have to use another palette with it. The colors are more for an everyday, or a softer, more natural, more muted look. There are not any really bright, vivid colors in this palette but there are lots of really pretty, very wearable colors and I can create lots of very lovely looks. Most of the colors are more cool toned but you can also do a beautiful warmer look with some of the colors on the bottom row. I think it’s really nice to have more cool tones for a change, I have way too many warm toned palettes and I get sick of them. I debated about the Naked 2 or this one and after trying Naked 2 and being less than wowed, I decided to try this one because of the colors and ingredients. The colors all look nice with my blonde hair and blue eyes.I really like the colors in this palette but it’s the quality of the shadows that really makes me LOVE it! I can do a single color all over the lid with many of the colors and it looks very nice or I can use several to create a bolder dimensional look and they all blend like a dream and feel so silky on my eyes, no inconsistencies from color to color. Pigmentation is excellent dry and you can use them wet if you prefer a bolder more dramatic look. I can do a bold smoky eye for evening or a very pretty natural look for daytime. These shadows have zero talc or fragrance. I listed the ingredients below at the end of this review.
