I'll start with the pros of this foundation:-Photographs well-Stays in Place (the claim is not lying- I wore it for 8 hours straight and it did not budge)-Blends well-Does not cause breakouts-Excellent full coverage that doesn't look cakeyCons:-Oxidises-Difficult to find a match despite all the shades-Made my normal skin feel tight/elastic/stiff sort of like it has a rubber agent or something in it-My skin felt 'heavy' when I had it on (heavier than Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation)-Difficult to remove. I really had to scrub my skin to get this off, and even after I showered and exfoliated, there were still some traces of makeup on my faceReview:I do like this foundation and I think it is a good quality product that does what it says, and I will save it for when I am going out and don't want my makeup to melt off my face. Other than that, I just feel as if the cons outweigh this foundation for me over the pros. I have Olive/Tan skin with mostly neutral undertones. I was matched with Shell Beige- on application, this foundation easily looked 2 shades too light for my skin. Even when blended in, it still looked a little too light. However, I waited a couple of hours and the formula oxidized, and then it *mostly* matched my skin. It photographs beautifully in natural daylight, however I noticed once it became evening and into night, again, the foundation actually looked too light for my skin- with and without flash. Not entirely unexpected considering it wasn't a perfect match even with oxidization. However, if you have found a perfect match with this foundation, I feel as if it would photograph beautifully in any light. I have tried to try other shades, but the shades up from Shell Beige are too pink for my skin. I really wish companies would manufacture more darker shades for neutral undertones, but overall I think EL have done a good job of making so many shades available for different skin colors and tones as lots of people seem to have found their match with this foundation. The other thing is that this foundation felt heavy on my face- and my skin felt very stiff/tight when I had it on. I can overlook that though, due to the fantastic non-transfer qualities and coverage this makeup has.If they introduce more shades I'd definitely give it another go, but for now I wont be repurchasing.

Very pleasant product in absolutely subpar packaging! The "apllicator" is a total disaster, smearing the thick product all over the small opening, I honestly wonder if the company ever even tested the packaging before shipping out this new product. It is so bad I was tempted to knock off two stars for the annoying container alone and I indicated that I will not repurchase - until the company fixes the packaging. Ideally, this eye treatment should be offered in a pump bottle. This would make it easy to dispense the right amount without contamination and air exposure, protecting the ingredients. With that out of the way, onto the product iteself which I really like: It is a whitish serum that moisturizes well, sinks in rather quickly without sticky residue and makes fine lines around my eyes less visible. My eye area feels soothed, plumped and pampered which is all I'm asking for in such a serum. Bottom line: I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for an improved container!

Amaaaazing product! After I emptied my Clinique take the day off balm, I decided to rebuy it when I got a text from Douglas saying they go on sale. But unfortunately, they no longer sold Clinique’s balm, so I asked for a similar product. Even though this costs almost double, I decided to buy it as a present for me (splurging is healthy haha). And oh boy, I’m so glad I did! Feels slightly smoother than the previously mentioned, a little goes a long way, it rinses off really easily. It is not too thick too rinse off as someone wrote, a cleansing balm should normally transform into a milky liquid in contact with water. It doesn’t strip all of the moisture off my face and I’m so so happy with it. It didn’t even break out my sensitive skin! I always double cleanse, so after this I use the cleansing cream from La Roche Posay, they do a wonderful job together. Of course there are cheaper options, this particular product is not a must, but balms became my favorite way to take off makeup, so I can honestly say this is a great one! Too bad for the price, but we all know Estee Lauder...

Terrible! Claims to be a 'dual' brush with 2 effects (volume+definition). It gives a mess, that is guaranteed. And like other EL mascara's, lashes drop down after a couple of hours, mascara sits under the eyes👎🏻... Waste of money.

I purchased this thinking that it would do wonders, just like Double Wear foundation does. MEEEEH, I think my expectations were too high. This primer is on the "wet" side and it does not do such a great job in minimizing the pores. When it comes to it`s intended purpose, yes, it does leaves the skin matte, but nothing too spectacular. If my makeup lasts a long time on the skin when i wear this, I don`t really think it`s because of it. It`s not a bad primer, but it`s way too expensive for what it does.

Buy.it. Forget all the "matte", "24h lasting" drugstore AND highend foundations and get this little piece of heaven instead. it feels amazing on the skin from the first application. It leaves the perfect amount of coverage (HIGH) without clogging the pores or create a thick layer of product. It complements the skin beautifully and IT LASTS. I tested out on a full day out and my skin never looked better. I checked my makeup expecting to find the usual oily mess..not a chance!! It may need a touch up after 8/9 hours but nothing before that. Even my boyfriend noticed it and complemented it. That's how i know it not only feels great but it also looks great. It's the REAL deal!

I bought a pressed powder long time ago. It's finely milled but somehow I never repurchased this.

My mom tried this brand. It's not a bad lipstick but there are other high end lipsticks that have better formulation that this one. Not repurchased

My mom bought this as graduation present. I still have some left. The fragrance is ok. The colour and text is ok. Staying power, nothing outstanding for the price. If you have cash to Burn go for it.

This baby wouldn't work for me during winter because I have very dry skin, but during summer it becomes one of my favourite products.Pros:- it really does stay in place, I never got foundation on my clothes or phone- it's good even if you work out (not that I'm encouraging to wear foundation during sports but if you go from work straight to the gym you're gonna be okay)- it looks invisible on the skin, you can't (or barely) tell I'm wearing it (maybe if you use a magnifying lens)Cons:- very few shades to chose from- a bit on the mattifying side so it's best to use a hydrating primer before if you have dry skin

I bought this just before I went on holiday with the intention of putting it all over my face instead of wearing foundation. It looks amazing even now I'm back in my rainy hometown, my foundation is slightly too light for my skin so I cover my face in this and it adds a subtle glowy bronzy look to my face without looking orange or patchy.I purchased the shade 'Light' but if I was to use this as a bronzer just for my cheeks I would purchase the medium one; the good thing is is that it is build able so if I do want to slightly contour my cheeks I would add a few layers of this.I also use this on my eye-lids for everyday for a subtle shadow around my eyes and blends perfectly. The packaging is nice and bronzer is quite big so it's value for money, the mirror is handy too. I wouldn't suggest using the bronzer brush that comes with it though, stick to a regular bronzing brush.Would recommend this especially for any holidays coming up!

This review is for the oil-free version, which I was excited about when it became available. Unfortunately, if I use it for a few days running, it results in breakouts--I've tried it twice, so there's no mistaking it. A shame because my skin looked pretty nice while I was using it before the breakouts started, and I've had great experiences with the other oil-free EL moisturizers. I suffer from cosmetic acne easily, however, so it might work for others who don't.

I would not buy this again. I got it in the EL breast cancer 2017 promo got a mini 8 pan eyeshadow palette, full sized mascara (this is $30 "alone"!!), brush & this travel sized eyeliner in a special case for $35 like I said "not bad"!! I am going to sharpen this w an UD liner sharpener (The Grindhouse) I hope it works I'd suggest making this a wooden pencil so much easier to sharpen! That's why I gave it 2/5 for packaging 5/5 $$ & 5/5 overall. It's an expensive pencil. It works really great not a lot of smudging except that lived-in smudgy look I love. All in all all a good pencil but will be a pain to sharpen I reckon.
