This is an amazing quad. It is a part of the spring 2017 collex as mentioned by the previous reviewer. I love the shades the green is classy & well done as the gold just beautifully done this is a timeless quad that can be worn during the entire year well into summer & I'll get a lot of wear out of this quad. It's nice that Chanel comes out with something different for the seasons rather than relying on 1 large overly hyped palette such TF, Kvd, Lorca, UD et al that nobody can get but it can be annoying if it sells out on the website the Chanel dot com is not immune to 250,000 women wanting a released 5,000 items make them highly coveted!!

I started wearing Allure in the late nineties and have used it off and on , along with several other favorites. I recently purchased a new bottle and am falling in love all over again .I am not sure if the formula has been "adjusted " since the last purchase I made a few years ago , but I do know it seems to get BETTER as the years go on. In my opinion as a fragrance lover , Allure is the most perfect perfume I have encountered for several good reasons. I think it is suited to almost any age ( over 20 ) and is very unlike anything else. It is ( thank God ) not a candy kind of fragrance , is a blend of vanilla, florals and spices , and makes a huge statement in a very understated way. Allure smells expensive , and it is . However, it is very feminine , ultra classy , and not a fragrance that screams "I desperately want attention" . I also think it is suitable for any season or day . It is hard to imagine anyone ever finding fault with it . The best form of sophistication, in my book, is understated elegance , and Allure is just that . The best part is that , even though it is not cheap , it is really long lasting and has enough sillage to make a favorable impression and justify the price of a bottle. I rarely spend over $100 plus for perfume, because there are so many wonderful fragrances that can be discovered for FAR less. However , I do purchase the EDP in this one , and get so much pleasure from it that I fork over the money and feel I am truly buying a timeless classic that seems to me to be flawless . If I had to be limited to one bottle of perfume, I would choose Allure . You can't go wrong with this one and it will NEVER smell dated.

This is amazing! Granted it's not cheap (& they should've included a brush for that price!) u can't get that JLo glow everywhere. I buff it in w a Chanel kabuki it takes off that one dimensional look that an overly powdery face can take on. It smells so good like rose petals & blends like a dream. It doesn't even feel like you're wearing MU. It also isn't too reddish, not too dark just what I would expect from Chanel. I hope when they D.C. this & they do invariably D.C. their best stuff I hope they can dream up something half as stellar!

This is a beautiful and sophisticated perfume. The scent is almost old-fashioned. But the EDP will not last more then 3 hours on me, no matter what. Purchased it personally in a renowned cosmetics store.

Love the product! Love the tube! Love the way it looks! I got this as a sample at Nordstrom, and this is the only mascara I want to use now. Lengthens, thickens, separates, and lasts! Also it's easy to remove. A winner!

Have bought about 4 jars of this cream. Absolutely love it. It's very hydrating, smells delicious and my skin soaks it up. My skin looks more hydrated and clearer when I use it. The only thing is I use it night and day so therefore I go through a jar within about 4 months - so it's pretty costly. I often will try something else but then start noticing my skin doesn't look as perky so I always repurchase. This is a lovely luxurious cream. Think it hydrates but don't think there's any anti-aging benefits

Elegance is a blush from the Chanel Spring 2017 makeup collection, Coco Codes. It`s a warm, medium peachy-brown nude. I love this because it gives me a very natural glow - I could (almost) see this doing double duty as a bronzer. Two things I have to mention: first, it is shimmery. The shimmer is very subtle and hardly noticeable, but it is there. Secondly, it`s fragranced. I don`t mind the scent - it`s a lovely floral scent - but if you are sensitive to fragrance in your makeup, you might not like it.

Codes Subtils is one of the two eyeshadow palettes in the Chanel Spring 2017 makeup collection, Coco Codes. There are four shades: a light yellow-gold, a pale pink-gold, a medium warm bronze brown and a medium muted olive green. They are all quite shimmery, so - depending on how much you like shimmer - you may want to use a light hand for application and blend well for daytime wear, or keep this palette for evening. The colors are beautiful and work very well together; they go on creamy and blend easily.

I bought this mascara as a very special treat for Xmas since I hate paying over the odds for a product I throw away after 3 months. I love the packaging, the brush is perfect and the mascara goes on like a dream but ... within a couple of hours I have (very expensive) raccoon eyes! Where I live the climate is mild and dry at this time of year; I cannot imagine how this would fare in a warm and humid climate. I have never had this problem with other non-waterproof cheaper mascaras so cannot justify repurchasing. Shame!

I was actually shopping for the Thierry Mugler Angel hair mist but the Shoppers Drug Mart I was in didn't have it. The cosmetics gal said "....but we do have some by Chanel...." - sadly, nothing in the No. 19 range, though - and I was all over it. I tried this on a sample card and said "SOLD" right then and there (I was able to get it for 20% off, which is why I wanted to shop at SDM). Such a nice product to have if you've been somewhere where there have been smokers (which I try to avoid), after the gym or just because it's a lovely, light and yet enveloping way to wear scent. Because I'm a teacher, working in close proximity with students, I try to avoid anything too overpowering and this stuff is perfection!

I used to use no. 5 but I decided that smelled like an old lady ;P Like others have said, I too get compliments when I wear this fragrance. I have the eau de parfum - & I think it's the perfect strength. It's just such a pleasant, girly-feminine scent <3

My review is for the 2016 eau de parfum version, which I believe is warmer and fruitier than the eau de toilette was. It's been a long time since I've found a fragrance to be as moreish as this one. I went through my sample in record time, applying over and over to experience again the fruity pear, the Chanel-esque grapefruit (I love Jacques Polge's treatment of citrus in general) and the soft blend of clean iris and jasmine. Sometimes rooty and fecal respectively in other perfumes, here the florals are simply soft and warm. I love that I catch a giggle of Allure in this, plus the gentle ghost of - because of the particular treatment of the iris - Guerlain's Shalimar Parfum Initial (now sadly discontinued), but even so, it stands up on its own as a subtle, enveloping, poetic and delicious scent. It's true that it doesn't last, but applying this is an enjoyable experience. There is barely any throw, but that's okay: some fragrances you really do wear for yourself.

I am 48 years old and hardly ever have acne breakouts. I got a sample of this and decided to try it because in the winter my skin is incredibly dry and I have so far liked all the Chanel skincare I have tried. I ended up with three giant whiteheads on my forehead, one in the center like a bindi. I have to assume it was this product, as I didn't use anything else different. I won't try it again to figure it out. This is a nasty look at any age.

I was at a high end dept store in NYC. The sales associate was helping me choose a shade for the new Chanel Sublimage Face makeup. Chanel has so many face products it's hard to keep up and remember which goes on first etc. etc. I btw two months ago purchased all three Chanel Lift products. Anyway, the foundation is a miracle product. It also comes with a brush. It goes on like silk, you only need a small amount and the jar is plentiful I figure it should last 6 months minimum. My complexion felt and looked like I just had a facial and a peel. Yes, it's that good. I was not in the market for the extrait serum. However, the SA pumped it with the foundation. Being very pleased with the results I asked him to tac on the serum as well. Later that evening I bumped into my sister and she wanted to know what I had done because my face was glowing. So, I have been using this now for a month only at night I use Chanel le lift before I apply my foundation and concealer in the am. My face has never looked so good it is flawless. My make up routine is I apply hourglass primer then foundation followed with Chanel universal loose powder. Next, I apply hourglass ambient glow. Lastly, Chanel rouge I use the powder but the stick formula is nice too. I know these products are very expensive but a little goes a long way. If I am not wearing makeup, I apply Kate Sommervile goat cream followed by Charlotte Tilsbury Magic cream. By doing this my skin stays very moisturizer and I keep the price down. I only apply face makeup on maybe three times weekly. I would advise because the sublimage line is so successful go ahead and treat yourself you are worth it!!
