STAY AWAY from this product! It absorbs easily and gives the skin a beautiful, healthy sheen--- for a few hours. After that, it turns a horrible, ashen white. No kidding. I tried it a few times thinking I was imagining things. Very embarrassing to be out in public and have your skin look as if you've never applied any lotion.

I bought this sunscreen for my children and amazingly, it works well with me too! It is much better than many sunscreens for adult. If it is safe for my children, it is safe for me too.

OMG, if you are wanting a natural looking tan quick, this is for you. After one use, I am darker and it looks natural. I could only find this at WalMart for about $7. My only complaint, is the same complaint with any other self tanner, around my foot area, it streaks a little. I just blend it out a little, and it looks great. I am so happy with this!!!

For some reason, this product makes me break out in little bumps on my chest and neck. I switched to Banana Boat with no issues thus far. Too bad, it sounded so good!

I have very acne prone skin. I am always trying to find a sunscreen that won't cause break outs. This one isn't it. Make my face look shiny which means I can't use it in day to day life and when I went swimming it burned my eyes.

Can I tell you I love this stuff! I'm frog-belly white by nature, tan by tanning bed (no lectures please) and this stuff mimics my tan perfectly. I use this solely on my face and you can't tell I don't tan my face as well. This keeps my tan looking daaark and I only tan 1x a week. This is a great product for a natural look and a great price. It's about 7.50 or so where I live and that's a deal since this tends to last. If you put it on sparingly, it's a lighter look, but I put just one pump on my palm, then on my face and I have a tan by the afternoon and I don't really worry about streaks. I've used plenty of products and this, by far, is my favorite- even for a very pale skintone.

I really like this sunscreen. It protects you from UVA/UBV rays and it seeps into your skin without that greasy/white cast. Now that summer is near, I'm using this product for everyday use!

I'm only 19, but I'm so into skin care. I wear sunblock everyday, even during winter time. In the winter time, I wear it on face, neck, chest, and hands; and in the summer, pretty much everywhere.
I used to be one of those tanorexics that used to turn brown in the summer up until like fall 2008. I went to the dermatologist to get this freckle thing removed and he told me I couldnt b/c my skin was way too tanned or something like that. It's a long story. Oh and he told me I had wrinkles! ANYWAYS, I decided to really turn myself around and flaunt my natural color. I know I'm going to get some color in the summer no matter how much I avoid the sun, so it's not as if I'm going to be ghost white.
At first, I thought this would be like overrated with spf70, but it isnt too thick or sticky in ,and it really protects my skin! I will be wearing this ALL summer long!!
Really people, if you want to have youthful, healthy, glowing skin, you must buy any kind of sunblock and just slab it on! And if you are looking for a perfect one, well... here it is!
*ps: I wouldnt recommend wearing this on face if you have oily and/or acne prone skin. I have slightly oily and acne prone skin and I wear sunscreen specifically made for the use of face. I use Lancome's UV Expert 20 Sunscreen. It's excellent!

Anyone who has read my reviews or who knows me, also knows that I am a high end skin care junkie who spends absurd fortunes on skin care. This is an AFFORDABLE change of pace for me! NutraShield Dual Defense is an excellent new broad spectrum sunscreen and anti-oxidant combo product and it's only about $10 for 6 oz. It combines photostable, high SPF UVA/UVB protection with antioxidants to neutralize damaging free radicals. This product works really well during outdoor events as it retains its high protection for prolonged periods and during even the most strenuous activities. I've found it to be impressively water and sweat proof. I live in a very hot, sunny climate and I spend a lot of time outdoors. I've literally "burned" through a lot of money and damaged my skin using many other, much more expensive sun products that often don't work. This DOES WHAT IT SAYS and works beautifully on very fair, sensivitve skin like mine. It doesn't clog pores, is non-irritating and fragrance free. It doesn't leave a white cast when on the skin, but it does take a little extra blending in. It has a pleasant, fairly moisturizing texture, isn't sticky and works well under primer and/or foundation. NOTE: I am 60 and ultra, ultra dry (as well as a product junkie), so I PERSONALLY like to use this over my high end anti-aging moisturizers and serums. But, I've also tried using this all by itself and it's just fine. This is a GREAT STATE-OF-THE-ART PRODUCT at a GREAT PRICE! Permanent re-buy for me (until newer scientific research generates something better, that is).

This new sunscreen has attracted quite a bit of chatter on the skincare board lately, so I had to check it out.
On face: Unlike the previous reviewer, I found this too heavy and greasy on my combination skin.

On body: This is wonderful! It has good, stable UVB and UVA protection. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy on my body, which is drier than my face. It does go on a bit white, but the white cast soon dissipates, and if you apply it quickly or systematically, the temporary white cast lets you see where you've applied it. I also love that it is fragrance free and water resistant. This is my new favorite sunscreen for use on my body. And at $8-$11 (depending where you purchase it) for 8 ounces, it's a very cost effective sunscreen.

Active Ingredients: Octinoxate 7.5%, Octisalate 5%, Zinc Oxide 14.5%. Inactive Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, C12 15 Alcohol Benzoate, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cetyl PEG/PPG 10/1 Dimethicone, PEG 12 Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Diazolidiny Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Sodium Chloride. continued >>

This sunscreen is excellent. The newer Water Babies "Pure and Simple" product by Coppertone contains a relatively high percentage of zinc oxide but it's still very easy to rub in without leaving a white cast behind. I've read that zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are the two ingredients recommended most by dermatologists for most effective sun protection. It's also gentle on the skin. Another plus is that it's oil free and does not feel greasy. I can even use this on my face without it creating a greasy mess. This sunscreen, along with Banana Boat Baby Tear Free, are my two favorites in this price category.

This is my favorite gradual self tanner. If you put on a thick layer, you'll see results with one application. After three or four thin applications (one per day) I'm good to go. It has a really light scent and doesn't stink throughout the day. It has a pump which is very convenient so you don't have to put your lotiony hands all over the bottle. I would totally repurchase this.

I got this to wear during a vacation to Florida. At first, I was really pleased. It went on nicely and absorbed well, so I wasn't left with an oil slick. I was able to wear light foundation and powder over it, and it looked quite nice. The problems started a couple of hours after I had put it on my face. I was not sweating, but I guess it sort of melted into the skin, and it began to seep into my eyes (even though I had not put it too close to my eyes.) Then began an hour of intense burning and watering. Even after I flushed my eyes with water and washed all the sunscreen from my face, they were watering and burning terribly. When that stopped, I still had swollen eyes for hours. So, needless to say, I will not be using this again. It's kind of a shame, because aside from the issues with my eyes, I think it's a good product. I just can't see the point in using a sunscreen made for the face if I can't get it anywhere near my eye area.
