I got this because of a suggestion from a fellow MUA member who has the same fragrance taste as I do. This scent smells more so like a moment than a person. I imagine the hotels you see in the Armani commercials to smell like this scent. This makes me think of a very classy girl grooming her nails in the morning or a very attractive guy getting out of the shower, patting his face with a cotton towel. It's a very clean and light fragrance, but still noticeable. I remember one night I was going to sleep and I put this on. And when I woke up my boyfriend told me that he really appreciated the scent (it's sense of light heartedness.). This is very causal, I feel you could wear this at any time of the day anywhere. This does have a light masculine touch, but I don't think it's noticeable to other people that it's a mens cologne. Actually my boyfriend couldn't tell.I love that if makes me feel well groomed. I know that sounds quite odd but this would be the primary reason why I love this EDT so much.

It smells exactly like old ladies to me. Not nice friendly old ladies...the scary ones. I think it's the benzoin.

I like this from my Nordstrom freebie sample, but I'm one of those people who thinks it smells like Un Bois Vanille. And since I already have a bottle of UBV, I think I'll pass on buying this!

Ambre pour Homme gives an impression of cinnamon or nutmeg lightly sprinkled over clean soapy lavender, iris, neroli. Light vetiver and a hint of cardamom add an earthy quality, plus the faintest of patchouli in the base anchors the fragrance and makes it last well. There is NO amber in this fragrance - the name is a misnomer. It's in the "clean laundry", "dryer sheets", "detergent aisle of the grocery store" genre, but classy. The fragrance opens with some sharpness but dries down more smoothly. Could be headache inducing for some people, like a sharpness that hits right between the eyes - subtle but there, so be warned. If you want to smell like freshly pressed and starched laundry - men or women - this fragrance is for you; I do feel it skews more masculine in the later drydown, however though many women will want to try it. I visualize wearing the fragrance with all-white cottons, a business suit, or dressy eveningwear.

Ok, so my first reaction to smelling this scent I HAD to have it... bought it... regret it. The reason being that at first it's sweet and almost powdery but in a nice warm way... then there is this "other" note, spicy(almost pepper like) and then sickly and then I feel nauseous. I really wish I could wear Candy for more than 30seconds but once I put it on I just can't wait to wash it off so the spicy/peppery note will go away and take my nausea with it. It's very possible that this scent simply does not agree with my body chemistry and this goes from being a warm, kind, beautiful princess in a bottle to a nasty, evil, sickening witch on my skin! hahaEDIT:::: I've decided this fragrance smells like cigarette smoke and sickly caramel ... that's it. No thanks.

I don't normally have a reaction to magazine inserts of fragrances, I may say 'Hmm, that smells nice', and keep it moving. But when I sniffed the Prada Candy insert in the Glamour magazine I was reading, I literally stopped and took a big, DEEP whiff. So deliciously rich! That same day I went to Macy's - and they didn't have it. I ended up going way out to another store to get the fragrance. And I do not regret it one bit.It has an almost edible vanilla-esqueness to it, but very rich and decadent. I have got compliments every time I wear it, and I love the fact that it is not necessarily a scent that is restricted to day or night, or summer vs winter. It seems very multi purpose. It doesn't wear as strong as I expected, but I actually like that. As it matures it weans off and I appreciate it, as I feel smelling that strong and rich all day would be too cloying. All in all I love this fragrance! Cute packaging, mature scent, but not in an old lady way, yummy, but not in an overly saccharine way, and just sophisticated enough for a 20-something. Loves it! <3

Upon first smelling this in a magazine, I literally salivated. I suppose that's why they call this a "gourmand" fragrance. I'm not entirely sure what gourmand entails and am too lazy to Google it, but I'm guessing by the name this is they reaction they were going for.Vanilla scents usually make my teeth ache, and I avoid them at all possible costs because they're too sweet and too fake. So my reaction to this surprised me. I rubbed it on my wrist and couldn't stop smelling it.I intended to get a sample of this before going all out - this stuff is rather pricey. Not exclusive high end ect, but when it comes down to it, this kind of thing is luxurious. Then the sales lady said she had one last gift set - a full size, a mini, and a body lotion. I am a sucker, and I bought the whole thing. At home, at first I was disappointed when trying it. The musk comes through first on me, and much less caramel candy goodness that I liked so much out of the magazine. As time wore on I kept catching whiffs of vanilla, then caramel mixed in, and my disappointment went away. The lasting power isn't bad. Not as good as an oil of course, but not as bad as gardenia ones I've used.As an aside, the body lotion smells a little more candyish to me, but for 50 bucks for a bottle there's no way I'd buy it by its self (unless I was hemorrhaging money, which I am not).

I ordered this online and couldn't wait to get this. I opened the box fast and picked up the this beautiful bottle. Just beautiful, when I picked up the bottle to smell it.... I literally said "Ahhh.".Candy is one of the most unique perfumes I've ever smelt, and it works quite well with my body chemistry. I feel that it defies me. I like subtle perfumes, and this is not too subtle. If you were to sit right next to me you could smell it. I feel beautiful wearing this. Mmmm, the caramel with just the right amount of musk. Most perfumes for me with a lasting power like this (at the LEAST 8hrs on me) give me a headache but this doesn't.The retail price is expensive! I was lucky enough to buy a 2.7 OZ online for $55! I do consider this my signature scent. What a beautiful perfume. This is adult candy that provides great sophistication. I would say that this is probably the best perfume I own... but that would be too bold. Though, Flowerbomb is a great fragrance, this beats it. Watch out before you get this, I noticed for the most part people either LOVE it or HATE it.

Infusion d'iris is a nice, sophisticated scent, and it's probably lovely on the right person. On my skin, however, it does not evoke an iris- and there is definitely no orange blossom. Initially it smells like the soil the plants might grow in and then dries down to a somewhat dirty powder.

This perfume is different from all the other Prada collections. It is a gournand. I love it and if you want something men really dig this is the one. The smell of Iris comes out unexpectedly and it feels like heavenly garden of candies

Although perfumes can not be easily rated, I will say that this one is a gentle spring breeze that everyone could wear. it is a happy perfume that doesnot bother anyone around you. i have a large collection of perfumes and rarely buy something twice, except this one.

Imagine wearing this fragrance whilst strolling past the Spanish Steps in Rome, after a fabulous dinner, in a beautiful dress, the taste of Caramel gelato still on your lips from dessert. Your sandals swinging from the fingers of your handsome companion. Like another lovely Italian fragrance, "Inside" by Trussardi, Prada Candy is caramel, hairspray and face-powdery musk. Candy is sweeter at the start but both contain that sophisticated beautiful soft powdery musk that you find in Worth Courtesan, SL Chergui, Prada Infusion d'Iris and is reminiscent of old fashioned high end cosmetics. It really makes you feel like dressing up and going out. Italian fragrances have a way of doing that. Unfortunately it doesn't last on me and it is very expensive, so I'll stick to Trussardi.
