This is a very pretty blush. However, it is not 'universally flattering' as so many people claim. It definitely looks ashy on deeper skintones (if you're darker and want a nars blush that works like orgasm, I think torrid would be a good one to try), but for a lot of fairer people like myself, it looks great. I don't have an issue with gold shimmer. I do prefer my hot mama blush from thebalm more, which is similar to this, but peachier instead of pink. But if you really like a pinky, slighty peach shimmer blush for a nice sheen, and don't mind spending a decent amount of money, this one is a good pick.

Love this. Full coverage and brightening for concealing dark circles, I look fresh and awake like nothing else. May be too drying for some but works great on my very oily skin, I set with a bit of powder and it lasts all day without creasing which is very impressive.

Probably the biggest foundation fail I've ever had, when it comes to formula. The color match is SO good; I'm about NC20 now with an unintended summer tan, with strong yellow and olive tones, and Alaska was a nearly perfect match if just a bit dark. But the formula was very thick, transferred everywhere despite setting powder, and left my skin looking extremely oily and patchy. Every two hours I was forced to touch up and I've been extremely self conscious because of it. I even revamped my skincare because in addition to the oil overproduction, I'd been breaking out in places I normally don't. Well, today I went back to my CG Ready Set Gorgeous foundation on a whim....and while that color is too pink, I didn't get oily once all day. Sigh. I wanted to love the Velvet Matte skin tint, but it's not meant to be in my case.

I got 2 samples of this with a Sephora order. Both colors worked ok with my skin tones, but I didn't care for the concealer itself. It was rather thick, but surprisingly not dry or hard to blend. I don't think it would take much drying out for this to become problematic, though. The real problem is that I didn't think it covered very well. I have the radiant concealer, and while it's much creamier, I think it also covers much better. The only place I use concealer is under my eyes, so if you need coverage on something other than that, this might work a treat. But for under eyes, it just wasn't dense enough.

I have tried several of the Nars blushes - I like Mata Hari, but I wanted one that was not as pigminted. This looks very natural on me. I wear suede in Complexion Rescue and 11 in their new foundation. I like it especially when I wear a more pigmented lip color, like NSFW or Devious from Bare Minerals. I like this because it looks good when I wear a gloss like diva and also looks good with more pigmented colors as well. Am very happy with this color.

Estee lauder double wear was my holy grail foundation but i slowly stopped wearing it cause its not suitable for everyday wear so i wanted to look for something else. Sheer glow was my favorite everyday foundation however the coverage was not as great. I am pretty fair MAC NC15 for ref. When i discovered this recently I was amazed. I dont think ll go back to the sheer glow. This is perfect for everyday and provides awesome coverage! i think ive finally found my FOUNDATION! I am in the shade light 4 deauville. Price is a bit high though.

It's medium closer to high coverage. Very creamy and thick texture but blendable. A bit too thick for my liking but I think most people would like the high coverage it gives. Has a beautiful satin finish. I think it's a great concealer, just not my fav. Although about the color range, Chantilly is too light for me but Vanilla is too pink. I had to mix Chantilly with a darker concealer to conceal the blemishes but it's perfect as a highlight. Wish they would add a warm tone color in between.

Misleading name. Sheer glow...? It's not glowy at all ! It's very matte. Hate it & a waste of money. Why give it "sheer glow" when it's matte ? I just can't understand.Light to Medium coverage, it goes on light weight. But it's too drying for my dehydrated skin. I wanted light yellow tone foundation. Deauville is 2 shades lighter than my skin when it's fresh but it oxidizes to a shade darker than my face & looks reddish~orangy.

my last review on this was posted in may of last year, back before i went on accutane. my skin is a lot clearer and WAY less oily now than it was when i first tried this foundation. i don't recommend this for especially oily skin. granted, i was probably greasier than most folks back then, but this stuff slid off my face within two hours of having it on. it really looked awful and was so high maintenance - i was constantly checking my makeup in mirrors, having to powder the hell out of it just to get it to look mediocre.it's not terrible on me now, but it definitely wore best when accutane was making my skin more normal. atm i have normal cheeks + a somewhat oily t-zone, so this still can wear down on my skin more quickly than other foundations do. coverage is better than i expected it to be, but it's still never been a full coverage foundation for me. i dont mind the finish with either a brush or a sponge, though because SG is so liquidy i do tend to use a brush so that my tools aren't sucking up a bunch of product - this is $47 (and the price keeps going up) for chrissake, it's veering into luxury territory imho. i will say doesn't seem to highlight dry patches to a severe degree, but ultimately i find it to be a very mediocre foundation for the price, and while i wouldn't be opposed to wearing it again in the future, there are definitely other formulas that i prefer to this one.i love the undertones of this foundation and i find it super annoying that NARS is selling in china now because there's nothing that's ever matched me the way this has. i'm a very cool yellow, and the shade i wear has almost olive undertones when compared to other, obviously warm foundations of the same shade depth. there's really nothing else like it on the market which to me is bizarre given how many other folks really enjoy the way this particular line of foundations leans colorwise.in terms of packaging: the cap sucks, it needs a pump, etc. i actually dont mind the matte black cap anymore - it's actually super easy to clean with alcohol and i find that it doesn't show wear and tear the way shiny plastic does, so that's actually kind of nice! but ultimately it doesn't wear spectacularly on my skin when i am more combo/oily, and while i am not opposed to supporting non-cf foundation lines that cater to skin tones that lack representation elsewhere (deep, olive, etc), because this isn't a great formula on me anyway i will be passing on it in the future.

I love this little concealer, I have used the radiant creamy from NARS as well and this is the better coverage and more natural looking cousin. A beautiful creamy texture that sets to a nice, soft matte, nothing cakey about it!! My skin is prone to breakouts and hyperpigmentation and this helps cover them up nicely and doesn't give any weird texture on them, just a nice natural lightweight finish. As for under the eyes, every single concealer has creased under them, I've kinda gotten used to it lol, and this one creased for me as well, it is still a lovely concealer though.

I *think* I have finally figured out how to use this under my eyes and in the inner corners. I have to use just a LITTLE product on lightly moisturized skin with a synthetic fiber brush. The color looks darker in the pot than it goes on, but corresponds closely to the radiant creamy concealer. (I wear Creme Brulee in both, and both match my skin beautifully.) This product doesn't appear to conceal sun damage on my face, however. I either cannot get it to blend out but still cover on my cheekbones on cheeks. I can't quite figure out why it would cover under my eyes but not on my cheeks and cheekbones, but I will adjust my review if I can figure out some method in the future. I'm satisfied that it works well under my eyes. It does need to be set lightly with powder.ETA: I'm now using it around my nose and over sun damage successfully, though it doesn't completely conceal the sun spots. It does break up and/or crease under the eyes but you can also just pat it out again. Less still works best under the eyes and in the inner corners, but KVD is a better performer under the eyes, while this NARS product is better on the face and around the nose.I bought this at 20% off and would repurchase under those circumstances. It's a bit too expensive otherwise, even though this pot will clearly last me FOREVER with the miniscule amount of product I'm using with a brush each morning. I honestly think it's likely to dry out before I can use it up, but we will see...

I returned my powder blush in Orgasm many moons ago. It just looked like I smeared gold shimmer on my face whenever I tried to apply it. The pigment refused to show up. It was NOT a good look.I decided to give the liquid formula a try on a whim. It is a beautiful blush and I was very pleased! A little too much sparkle in it for my taste, but it looks like a peachy and dewy flush on my cheeks. It is a sheer product (do not expect tons of pigment on medium to dark skin), but looks so natural. I think you would be able to get away with fooling people into thinking it was as natural flush if it wasn't for all that shimmer. The packaging is very tedious though. The cap is a tight fit and the nozzle is prone to unscrewing. Then there's the problem with the pump spilling product all over itself. I don't like making a mess and I don't like wasting my blush. I expect a lot more from a brand like Nars that is known for having sleek and simplistic packaging. Hope they fix the problems with this first batch.Final verdict: 5 lipsticks for the product and 1 lipstick for the packaging.I will try out Dolce Vita next. I want to see how/if the matte formula differs.

Not my fav colors. It says semi matte but looks glossy on me. Does not dry down at all so not long lasting.Confused a little bit but having extremely dry lips, I prefer gloss anyways so that works for me. It's not 'sticky' gloss by the way. On the lips, it feels like YSL kiss and blush but looks glossier. I wish they would add more colors. Still think it's expensive though. Love the packaging. Has weird scent, like grandma's makeup. I give this 3.5 stars

Meh, I wanted to like it but it creased about the same as drugstore concealers I have used. the colour selection is nice though, it's hard to find fair and yellow based concealers.
