I really loved how this went on. It looks beautiful for 3-4 hours. I tried it a few times in different colours. Samples thankfully. After the first couple of hours this became cakey and when it rubs away it rubs away completely. It looks a bit silly.Tried it with and without setting powder. Without had more patchiness and with had patchiness and cakiness. Couldn’t win.I have reasonably normal skin with a few remaining acne scars after a year of hormonal turbulence. The best medium to full buildable coverage plus long lasting ones are below:Bare mineral bare pro - slightly flat looking and 7-8 hours. Can be cakey. Need light weight powder.Dior skin forever fluid foundation. Lovely satin/matte finish. 9 hours no top ups but bottle lid keeps breaking and runs out quickly.Lancome teinte idol ultra - horrifically strong perfume smell that made me itch. Needs lots of moisturiser and hydrating primer. 10 hours with only minor touch ups. Patchy on nose. If you can bear the smell and don’t like doublewear this might be a close comparison on coverage.Chanel Le teint ultra Tenue. OMG how hard is this to apply. It dries so quickly. If you can make it work and use the correct powder that doesn’t go patchy this lasts 7-8 hours. Good coverage. Too hard though. Too faced born this way foundation. More of a dewy look that won’t suit oily I don’t think but great for me in winter when I get dry. Oxidises a bit so go a shade lighter or get samples. My holy grail after everything I tried is the doublewear stay in place foundation. At first I found it drying. If i moisturise and exfoliate and have a hydrating primer, it lasts 12 hours plus. I’ve gone 18 and it still hasn’t budged. I use a beauty blender so it’s not cakey and build it where I need extra. I just wonder what’s in it and prefer not to use it every day. I use doublewear light too. It lasts 10+ hours. More light to medium coverage. Poor colour range though.

I used to hate liquid lipsticks. They were drying, they wore off like crazy patchy, pigment was never enough, and I never got the precision i wanted... until I tried this!! This product changed my mind about liquid lipsticks, because I was a gloss type of girl. The finish is quite matte, non drying. Pigment is out of this world even when I dip it in the bottle once. the application is crazy precise because of the wand, it’s longwearing and it didnt come off while I was eating! I just i wish bought a red instead of “under my thumb” And I don’t care for the price, If the product is good I’m buying it. No drugstore liquid lipstick competes with this one

This was £22! For a lipstick!
Colour is perfect for me, an almost sheer red, brickish undertones so it doesn’t dry down pink like others do on me. Is really pretty as a daily wear without being ‘too much’ like other reds.
As it is kind of sheer, it doesn’t last like some reds, but tbh it does last pretty well. I just topped up after a tea and pain au chocolat and I still had faint red lips.
I love the colour and the packaging. Absolutely hate the price, it is obscene. However, as I’m a mug I’ll probably buy again.

Loved how this applied- so silky and it blended out amazingly quickly with terrific coverage. Lightweight and the shade matched me perfectly. Straight after application my skin looked so incredibly flawless, radiant but not oily or heavy. It felt a bit 'wet' but thought that would come right after a few mins of drydown time. Unfortunately that's where the good part ends. It never dried from that wet feeling so I added a light dabbing of Laura Mercier powder to help it along. An hour later I did a check in and was disappointed to find it had thinned out on the nose, chin and cheeks to the point where it had almost disappeared. What was left was some kind of weird pore clinging film; white spots where the foundation had sunk into the pores and separated from the surface of the skin. I had foundation pox :-( It had also settled into my forehead lines and was thinning out under the eyes. Despite the setting powder, it felt wet again and upon lightly touching my face, my fingertips came back with product on them. 3 hours later, it didn't get much worse, but I felt paranoid that it was vanishing off my face and I couldn't wait to get home and fix it. When I got home, I dabbed on a few dots and again, like magic everything went back to perfect in seconds. I LOVE how this applies! But here I am two hours later, as if I never touched up at all. The pox is back and the transfer is crazy. The wear is just utterly heartbreaking given how beautifully this goes on.

It has absolutely no lasting power at all. I wore it for a few hours, inside a temperature controlled building and didn’t sweat or strain at all. It’s such an expensive and over rated disappointment of a product.

Excellent quality and gorgeous selection of warm and neutral shades. Shades do kick back powder in the pans but they are so pigmented and easy to work with. They also wear really well when used in conjunction with my Mac Soft Ochre paint pot. My favourite shades are Dover, Beaumaris, Splendor and Versailles. Very expensive price tag but the quality of the shadows are excellent and the packaging is sturdy and very travel friendly. It’s one of my go to favourite neutral palette and I would highly recommend

This is my go to daily under eye concealer. I used Bobbi Brown corrector in peach in the past for years but don't need to use a corrector and concealer no longer. This blends beautifully, rids all of my dark hereditary under eye issues and a PERFECT color that's no too yellow or ashy. Blends well with the setting powders I've been using. NC40 and use the color Macadamia. What it doesn't do is cake or pill, don't use too much, make sure to blend well and set w/ powder.

I purchased this a few years ago but just kept in storage because it wasn't working for me at the time. It didn't show up on my face pretty much and probably using the wrong blush. Maybe my coloring has changed because I love it now! I was using it for a straight 6 months before I finally repurchased. NC40ish here and other blushes turn different colors on me. Swatches of coral or peaches are so pretty but eventually turn reddish during the day, maybe I get flushed and warm, but this stays a true apricot w a nice sheen. Also does not turn orange on me. I wanted to love Madly just to change things up a bit but had to return. It was beautiful swatched but on my face just turned muddy whether I put a little or much more. Luster blends beautifully on my skin, lasts most of the day, finely milled, and the apricot color perks me up my face like no other blush has in a long time. In person or in pictures looks airbrushed so thank you NARS!

Was so excited to try this. I’m oily tzone normal cheeks, skin is always prepped, toned, moisturised, Nars primer underneath and by midday it was gone from my nose, topped up, 4pm had to top up again. It’s literally only good for people with normal slight combo skin. So sad, il stay with sheer glow

Hello Ladies,I am a Foundation Hoarder, with my olive complexion (lightskinned to medium) it is quite difficult to find a good match. My skin:I have dry skin to normal skin it really depends. I have redness arond the nose area and darker eye circles. What i am looking for:A foundation that gives me a full flawless finish that covers but doesn't look cakey or matt.something that last at least 8h since Im out and about. This foundation :I really love it I read a lot of mixed reviews and I didnt know at first if I wanna give it a try.I do have texture so i didn't want to look like a sponge face. But it made my face ook super radiant and I agree that s the day goes on the foundation sets very nicely and unifies with my skin and the color as well.I chose Stromboli which is a bit tan but as im using concealer too it is perfect. For reference ( Fenty 290 & Dawn in EDW).I think this is my new holy grail foundation. i have been testing it a week and need to see how i go on during time.i can also say that it is very easy to blend im using a beauty blender. the 16 hours is relatively unrealistc for me in general, as its always weather dependend whether you touch your face and so on. But if you just sit at home all day and wanna look pretty then the 16 h might work ;)Highly recommendable! I did some instagram stories for it if you like you can watch it. username is the same as here:)

Honestly I am also surprised with so many negative reviews regarding this foundation, this foundation is amazing! I have normal to dry skin and it really works well on me, I mosturise and prime my face, then apply the foundation and throughout the whole day it looks flawless & obviously radiant. I have been wearing this whilst I have been travelling around Europe & it stayed put throughout the whole day. This foundation makes my skin look very healthy with a beautiful glow, I have even received a lot of positive compliments when I use it. This is my new holy grail foundation that I will be using a lot. The packaging is beautiful too! Thanks Nars for a great foundation! Will definitely be buying this again.

I've tried many foundation before ranging from Revlon to Guerlain and GA, this is by far the most disappointing one. It wears off easily even with the help of Laura Mercier's loose powder and setting spray from UD, especially around the T zone, and the foundation does not go along well with oily/combination skin as the layer of foundation will turn into muddy patches later in the day. The foundation is no where near "sheer glow", it's not sheer and it looks pretty heavy on the face. It's better when I apply it with wet sponge. The foundation leaves my skin in a bad condition with bumps after I have been using it for half a year, which is what I did not expect as this is so much more expensive than Revlon which I have experienced the same condition (and Revlon does not wear off this easily..)So, definitely an under-average product for me.

This is beautifully packaged yes but that’s expected from a $60 foundation. While it finishes beautifully it does not last, gets oily and transfers like crazy, my $12 Milani wears better than this. So sad, now sitting in my drawer wasting away.Save your money ladies there are far more better foundations there at the same price range and better that perform far longer than this one. So so disappointed, what a waste of money 😖

This made my combo/clog prone skin super oily and shiny it also felt like I was wearing foundation (heavy). I’d recommend this for those that are dry/normal. I prefer my it cosmetics CC cream to this as it leaves me with a little glow but not oily. Coverage is medium.

I have this pencil in 3 shades, and love them all... Do Me Baby is the perfect mix of mauvy plum, not drying, it's long lasting, and is really the only matte of any kind I can tolerate.. It's not a super dry/flat/crackly matte, it's extremely comfortable and creamy even. The only negative for me is I wish they were twist up like the Tarte Lingerie ones, I really hate having to sharpen these, and had to deduct a lippie for that reason... It's enough of a hassle that it has made me not buy any more of them, and I have been buying more of the Tarte ones since they are twist up.. But I do love the ones I have from NARS.
