Mascara -L'Oreal - Volume Million Lashes Feline

I have a problem. Almost all mascaras smudge on me. And when I say almost all mascaras I mean ALMOST ALL. Most "holy grail" mascaras that people love I can't use because of the smudging.
I bought this on chance over a year ago and I have never used another one since. This doesn't even say waterproof but it is. It. Does. Not. Budge. And that's a big deal for me. I have oily eyelids, sure. But this really works. I think it separates the lashes well, keep the curl and lenghtens okay. Only dowside is it can feel a little wet when just opened. And it's hard to get off. But for me it's totally worth it.

This was £10 on a special deal which is at the top end of what I'm prepared to pay for mascara.

But, it's really good! I have fairly long thick eyelashes that I don't often curl, and this really makes them look nice. It's not too wet (like Benefit They're Real) so it doesn't flick everywhere, it doesn't flake or rub off under my eyes.

So far I like it a lot, and may well re-buy if it's not too expensive when the special offer finishes.

Brows -L'Oreal - Brow Stylist Plumper

I use this in conjunction with a waterproof brow gel or pomade to max out my brow game. This is an amazing product, and the short tapered wand is the key to getting a full brow without overdoing it as the brow gels with mascara wands tend to do (I'm looking at you ABH) Doesn't make brows crispy. Doesn't flake. Comparable to Glossier's boy brow but I find the colors L'oreal provides to be a closer match for me. For the price you get a lot of product. I'm on my second tube of this stuff but only because the first tube lasted me like two years. My only complaint is the name -- I think "plumper" is a bit misleading.

Foundations -L'Oreal - Infallible Pro-Glow 24HR Foundation

I bought this foundation for my kit, to use on my clients. I got the shade 203, which matches my NC20 skin pretty well. I tested it on myself today, to see how it performs. My skin is combination: on my nose, I get a little oily throughout the day. Between my eyebrows I have dry skin, with dry patches, and on my forehead I have dry skin as well but without any dry patches. The rest of my skin is normal. I have pretty good skin, no wrinkles and no scars or pimples to cover.
I applied this foundation with a flat foundation brush and then blended any hash lines with a stipple brush. On half my face, I applied RCMA setting powder, to see how it performs with and without powder. I've had it on my face for about three hours.
These are my first impressions:
This is a liquidy foundation that is quite thick when applied onto the skin (which I don't like), and provides medium coverage. Without setting powder, this looks and feels very, very greasy, and is not transfer proof. With setting powder, this looks good (not great, just meh), but still feels quite greasy, at least for my taste. I wouldn't recommend this at all if you have oily skin, not even on winter.
Another con about this product: it clings to my dry patches like crazy. So, if you have dry patches, I wouldn't recommend this to you either.
I noticed that this settles into fine lines like crazy if you don't set it with powder, specially on the smile lines. It makes me look 20 years older, literally. On the side of my face that I powdered, I didn't notice any settling. If you have wrinkles and fine lines, apply carefully, and don't forget to set it with powder. I have to say this, though: I don't recommend this foundation to you either if you have mature skin. It's way too thick.
I can't say anything about it's durability, since I only had it on my face for about three hours and I'm already dying to take it off.
As a professional, I would only use this on clients with dry skin without any dry patches. I will use this but I won't buy this again.

SO much hype about this from youtubers that I was convinced I was going to love it. Bought it and really did nothing for my lashes but make them clumpy and ugly. But I would say that if you like Better Than Sex Mascara from Too Face, then I would suggest potentially trying it. I just personally hate when it looks spiders and very clumpy.

since I have sensitive acne prone skin i tend to stay away from fragrance but this time i was like hey even though this has fragrance I will try it out NO PROBLEM! oh boy i was wrong the fragrance gave me a headache it was really strong and obnoxious and it reminded me of men's cologne, despite the annoying fragrance i quite liked this product i felt like it flushed away all my impurities and when the mask has dried there were tiny black dots where my pores were located which i loved i felt like it was doing stuff to my skin but honestly wont be applying it ever again because of the fragrance i wish skin care companies would stop adding perfume/fragrance to their products its really annoying and our skin doesn't need it.

Liquid -L'Oreal - Lumi Foundation

What a gorgeous foundation! Ever since I turned 26 years old I'm turning to using a more dewey luminous base on my face (despite having really oily skin) because I don't want any of my fine lines and texture being enhanced at all with the dryness and cakeyness of an all matte makeup. This foundation is SO lightweight, almost like a serum for the face. I would say it is medium to full coverage since it's so thin in consistency and still managed covered all my imperfections with one layer. The color selection is fantastic too!
It held up pretty well on my face and still looked great after 12+ hours of wear! Taking in account my skin is greasy oily and I live in the hot humid weather of Puerto Rico I am so impressed!
I just set it with a bit of Coty Airspun powder after applying it and it has looked beautiful all day. My blush and bronzer were intact the whole time. It is a little pricy for a drugstore foundation but it is well worth it in my opinion!

It works pretty good as far as extending and adding volume to lashes. The formula is a little grainy/textured and I'm not in love with the way it coats my lashes (sometimes leaving little lumps). But it's still worth the trade-off for the volume it adds, and it doesn't flake off at the end of the day, so I will continue to use it.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Jennifer's Nude

foto

Many have called J'Los Nude a Pinky Nude, although I would still say it's considered a true nude. Probably the truest out of the entire privee collection, along with Eva's Nude. It looks a lot more nude than I expected - maybe my naturally pink lips cancelled out the pink and just looked browner on my lips? This suits both fair and medium skin colors despite J Lo being tan, and it won't give you the dreaded concealer lip look.

The formula is also amazing. Sheer at first but very creamy - creates a gorgeous texture to the lips! My only complaint about the packaging is that every time I open the tube it squeaks when I twist the lipstick - the most annoying sound ever - like nails on a chalkboard.

Summary: get this if you want a natural looking true nude! It's a My Lips but Better Lipstick.

Styling Products -L'Oreal - Curve It Elastic Curl Mousse

I concur w/ everything bek74 says. I have 2A fine, color treated curls. I want products that enhance my curls and make more defined (trying to achieve 2B curls :) IMO, this stuff works as well as Ouidad PlayCurl Amplifying Foam for WAAAAY less $$. Will definitely re-purchase

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic Mascara

YES!!! I finally found an inexpensive mascara that I like!!! Stop the presses!!! It lengthens! It holds a CURL!! It DOESN'T clump (too bad) most of that depends upon user expertise)--- it volumes!!! AND----AND-- IT DOESN"T SMUDGE!!! Hallelujah !! I'm so pumped... (could you tell??) LOL. I discovered this off a website that lists top tens (-http://rankandstyle.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f7eab85980e51374c54faf985&id=cb29b60d61&e=87228ed841) hope that works.... it's Rank and Style online magazine - they do top 10's of everything!!! It's the coolest site! Everything from expensive stuff to drugstore -- I hope you go and check it out - it's an email that I get, it's either everyday or a few times a week - but it's AWESOME. A lot of it I can't afford - but shoot it's fun to know!!! Anyways, this mascara is great, the brush is similar to Chanel's Le Volume - it's a plastic "brush" wand. A fairly small but medium sized wand. It doesn't grab too much product - and it's got a stopper at the opening that pulls some of the product off so you don't get too much on the wand. They're three colors I think and waterproof -- but let me tell you-- you don't need it unless you know you are going to really cry. It does NOT come off. I slept in it last night just to see -- and it's still on. I had a few little bits on me, but otherwise, it looks perfect. I have to admit - I pair it (and add some length on the tips of my lashes) with MAC's Gigablack lash - I always use this on my lower lashes because of the tiny brush and I know it's not going anywhere (I'm obsessed). Walmart did not have the waterproof, or I would have gotten it. It is good and black - but they have the carbon black in the waterproof -- I will try it next - and review it. I'm so psyched guys!! It holds a curl!!! I do curl my lashes - but I really think if you got right at the lash line and boosted them up while applying the product you could get a curl without a lash curler. An wouldn't you know too -- I just ordered a mascara from Kiko that cost me $14.00 because my Chanel is done. I panicked! Oh well, if I don't like the Kiko (it was Kathleen Lights fav) - I can aways send it back. Maybe I'll like them both! I'm just so excited that I have a much more affordable option now. Way to go L'Oreal!!! Enjoy guys!!!

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I don't know why this has such low reviews. This is a great foundation. The only negative is that it oxidizes, so I have to buy about 4 shades lighter. Normally I'm W2, Light Ivory, but instead I use N1, I think, which makes me look like a ghost or a geisha cosplay lady for about 30 minutes until it blends into my natural oils. It stays on through a brisk walk, but don't make the mistake of wearing this to a water park or anything like that. You'll look like a fool. Stick to Revlon Color Stay for truly water resistant coverage.

I bought this because of all the hype on MUA, and the relatively low price. I haven't liked a drugstore mascara in years, so I stopped buying them years ago.

I really do like this better than I liked better than sex mascara. I have been using, and liking, Lancôme hypnose drama. I've repurchased that many times. I really do like this mascara just as much, and since it's so much cheaper, I will buy it again.

It adds volume, holds curl, doesn't flake or clump. I only use one coat, and that's enough. My lashes are long enough, but not thick. This does thicken them and adds a little length too.

I'm not sure if this is a dupe. I currently don't own the tf better than sex but would like to try the travel size. I just didn't like how they made my lashes feel. Very hard and uncomfortable. I'm willing to try it again.
