I you're planning on getting a powder to bake your face with, in a proper Instagram fashion, definitely don't buy this! If you're looking to achieve a blurred-out-pore effect on your selfies using this powder, you're better off with an app. You will, nonetheless, achieve a blurred-out-pore effect in real life. <3This powder is MAGNIFICENT at setting a light layer of foundation in, to even out and mattify for a natural looking finish. I use Dior's Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 35 in Ivory, and haven't changed brands for years. After a few Summers I realized that, as much as I hate heavy makeup, a finishing powder was due for me. I like YSL's Poudre Compact Radiance for the colder months, but in Summer it can all get a bit too much, and breaking a sweat under all that is not a very good beauty scenario. Can you imagine wearing 2 layers of makeup to the beach? Yuck (But one layer along with a dash of this finishing powder, thats' a perfect marriage to give your natural beauty an extra kick that last and beats shine caused by oil production.)I have found this is better applied with a big loose brush, and a little goes a long way. I ensure there are no residues with the feel of my hands, then I'm good to do. Remember, this is best used as the very last step in your makeup routine, unless you're up for a special night out and you'll sprinkle a bit of glitter on it all, then go dancing. Sometimes I do forget, and I have to apply my blush on top of this powder (Mornings, hehe) but I definitely get a more even, controllable and blendable application under it. Once again this is a FINISHING powder. There are endless high end brands that carry finishing powders like YSL (Compact) Laura Mercier (Loose), but at the end of the day I personally prefer to invest my money on the things that are closer to my skin, like moisturizer and foundation. It works great on top of all the goodness underneath when used properly, so I'd say: Great value for money :)

To be honest this is one of the few eyeshadow primers I've used, but it's so good I haven't felt the need to look for others. Keeps the eyeshadow from creasing very well and makes it last all day and night, which is the main thing I'm looking for in a primer. Has a light nude tint in it, so helps to cover any discoloration you might have in your eyelids.Leaves a bit tacky, so I'd suggest putting a small amount of powder on top of it to make other products apply evenly afterwards.

I like all of the lipliners from NYX I have tried, but I think these are pretty phenomenal and don't seem to get the love that they deserve. In my opinion the Liquid Suede lippies don't really need a lipliner to go with them, so I was a little confused by NYX releasing the coordinating liners (I know it is all Lip Kit hype, but whatever, liquid lipsticks almost never need liner if the formula is good enough. That's another discussion for another day though.) I ordered a couple knowing that I probably would not be using them with the matching Liquid Suede lipstick because the colors looked really great. The formula of these pencils is really nice, a little softer and slightly more pigmented than the Slim Lip Pencil from NYX, and of course a little more matte as well. I got Kitten Heels, Tea and Cookies, Soft Spoken, and Vintage as those are colors that will go with a lot of my every day lipsticks. (The first three all happen to also be my favorite Liquid Suede shades, so clearly that part did still play a role in which ones I chose. I am a sheep, what can I say?) Tea and Cookies goes well with a lot of my MLBB type pinky nude lipsticks, and Soft Spoken goes great with deeper rosey shades and some mauves as well, and I use both of these pretty often. They work with all kinds of lipstick formulas, even the Liquid Suede, though they did not really affect the wear or the coverage but just gave a somewhat crisper lip line. Overall, I do love these pencils for use with basically anything BUT the lipsticks they're meant to go with, but they feel nice, last well, and the colors are gorgeous. I will definitely be purchasing some of the other colors at some point in the future since this is probably my favorite lipliner formulation from the drug store.

My lips did feel smooth after using this, it glides on easily and smells lovely. but it just didn't work for me. I found it sticky after a few minutes and the colours appear kind of streaky I guess, you can see the lines from the applicator or rubbing your lips together visibly... not a fan. However, my best friend swears by them!

Whenever I find a foundation in the perfect shade for my skin tone, I always seem to have a problem with the formulation. I have this foundation in 03 Porcelain. Shade matching for me is tricky, as I'm neutral leaning cool, so most foundations pull too yellow, too orange, etc. Porcelain is a nearly perfect match for me, as it is very neutral and leans almost pinkish/grey.The shade range is where my praise ends. I don't even mind how watery this foundation is, as the dropper packaging allows me to control the amount and application. On its own, the foundation blends decently and is slightly buildable, but it dries down to a very...powdery finish on me? It sinks into my fine lines and pores (I don't have a lot of them) and really emphasizes any fuzz on my face. I figured I would try to mix it in with other foundations, but with all the ones I've tried, this lends a very chalky, uneven finish even mixed with my most dewy, illuminating foundations. I also don't find this to be incredibly long wearing, and I have dry skin, so I don't know how it would ever stay on skin that is combination/oily. I hate to give up on something that matches me so well shade-wise, but I'm running out of uses for this.

I have the color Dusk to Dawn and at first I thought it would be too light on me... it turned out to perfectly cover my natural lip color without washing out my face face away. It is very matte and very drying. I believe with darker shades this could turn into the infamous "butthole-lip-effect" kind of situation. However, you have to carefully lay the product on the lip, no rushing and no re-applying over and over again when everything is still wet as the product will build up and will make everything very gloppy and patchy. Once it is dried down it will stay put throughout the day, maybe a small touch up after lunch and it can be re-applied on top with no problem. Very hard to take off!!! I use micellar water and have to rub quite aggressively. It doesn't smear like normal lipsticks but rather breaks down into small flakes. The wand is not the greatest thing ever, it will form chunks on top of it, but again it is rather inexpensive. Overall it is a good product if you can find the right shades that suits your skin tone. It is super matte and it will pick up every lines and wrinkles on the lips. I've been using mine regularly and so far I like it. I have friends that cannot tolerate the dryness.

I really wanted to like these because there are so many beautiful colours in this line. I have three shades: Subversive socialite, Sway and Respect the pink.Subversive socialite is way too dark for me but it is also very patchy on the lips. The other two apply nicely but I still hate these lip creams! They are very sticky and uncomfortable. The worst part is that they don't fade evenly, instead they make a sharp, crusty line across my lips almost immediately after putting them on! The applicator isn't the most useful, either.

I have 3 shades of these lipsticks and I don't recommend them. They are more richly pigmented than the Soft Matte Lip Creams but they are not long lasting/transfer proof and feel really uncomfortable on the lips. They don't build up nicely either as it clumps up. These are the 3 lip colours I have in the Nyx LSSandstorm (Clay Brown) - I brought this because I saw it being recommended on YouTube. It's defiantly my favourite of the 3 and the colour is gorgeous but I never reach for this because of the formula problems I've mentioned above. Amethyst (Violet) - Loved the colour at first but I never reached for it. The colour is a bit of a cool tone purple for me so I always overlook it for Mac's Heroine. Also I'm scared to wear this because the formula is such a let down and I don't want it to look smudged and transfer off especially when I eat, drink and kiss my boyfriend! Subversive Socialite (Deep Purple) - This one is one of the worst lipsticks I've ever tried! It's patchy, applies unevenly and it never lasts on the lips. You just have to smack your lips together and bingo, A portion of it has come off! I wore it once on a shopping trip with a lip liner underneath and by the time I got there my lips looked a hot mess! I would stay far away from this particular shade, mine went in the bin months ago.I love Nyx products but I feel that their lipsticks lets them down a lot. I would recommend saving your money by not buying these and invest in a higher end liquid lipstick instead (Jefree Star, Ofra etc).

I love Soft matte lip creams. They are very easy and beautiful for everyday use. I wish the shades were a little more true to the package because I thought this would be more neutral. I wear this with warm toned looks because it looks quite orangey on my lips. The staying power is very good at least with lip liner underneath and reapplying is easy. It fades evenly and it's matte but not drying. It smells good, too!I love the pretty package of these lip creams. They are small which makes it easy to take them anywhere with you.

This is definitely a good value for the price! You're getting 7 different highlighters for $19. I remember when this first came out, it was when highlighting was really starting to becoming a thing so I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I was also so drawn to that purple shade. I knew I'd try all of them except the gold. Still haven't used the gold lol, not sure I ever will. Did see a reviewer say they mixed it with the bronze shade and liked the outcome. Might try that. I don't really use this a whole lot, but I pulled it out the other day when I didn't want such a golden highlight for a night out(usually use champagne pop for nights out. Daytime is either day glow from Lorac or Becca moon stone) I mixed the champagne on the bottom with the far left light gold. Liked the outcome. I think I use the bottom shades the most if anything. But I feel like they can tend to all look the same on the skin, idk. I don't think I'll ever hit pan on any of these shades, especially with so many highlighters out there and already having a lot in my collection. That's why I said no to repurchase. But I am glad I have this option in my collection. And again with the good value for money, you could use these for shimmery eyeshadows if you wanted. Definitely recommend to someone wanting a highlighter with not a lot of money or someone starting out with makeup or someone who wants lots of options. Good job nyx!

I have fair skin, and I love having a good red blush on hand for days when I want to attempt the Snow White look. After using NARS Exhibit A for years and finally hitting pan on it, I was on the hunt for a cruelty free alternative and I found it in the Nyx HD Blush in Crimson. In the pan, its a shocking orange based tomato red. Applied with a very light hand and blended out on the apples of the cheeks, this color gives me the exact look that I want. I've also used this blush on various clients when I'm doing wedding makeup, and I love it across the board. On fair skin tones, it gives that Snow White look that I mentioned above, and it gives a healthy apricot glow to deeper, richer skin tones. On me and on everyone else that I've used this blush on, it gives a fresh "just in from the cold" appearance or the appearance of a natural invigorated flush but again, blend blend blend because this shade is easy to overdo. The formula is good and it plays nicely with all the foundations and sunscreens that I've paired it with. It's a powdery formula so you can expect it to kick up some powder, and tap your brush off before applying it. For me, this isn't a deal breaker. I see where other users experienced breakouts from this blush, but luckily that hasn't happened to me, and my finicky, sensitive skin hasn't been affected by reaching for this nearly every day.One thing that surprised me is how long this blush stays on the skin. For me, this formula will actually stay put (if applied over foundation or mineral powder) for a good six or seven hours. It actually stays put on my skin longer than NARS or my trusty old MAC blushes, though your mileage may vary of course. I'm impressed with this formula and I might try a few more shades. The blush retails at Ulta and Walgreens for less than six dollars so it's worth trying.

Not Happy with Nyx Lip Lingerie. I love Nyx & usually always Purchase from Ulta, Target, and recentlyPurchased several times from their website. Sadly I purchased the Perfect Nude"Push Up" Lip lingerie Liquid Lipstick from NYX website and Product came empty. There was Product on the brush & in able to wear, but if you look inside the tube there is very little to no Product Inside. Fortunately the other colors I Purchased were normal and had Product inside but this came empty. I don't h understand since item was sealed. I contact Nyx and since it was over 1.5 months they could not help me or resend Product. If they only seen my Nyx collection or how much Products I own from then. I think as a courtesy they should have sent me a product. I just have so much other makeup I didn't get around to this one on time to return.Review overall. All the Lipsticks are inconsistent. Some matte, some sticky, some long wearing. All I can say is Push up is the perfect Nude, but won't Repurchase Nyx Products anymore due to Customer Service Policies, and not worth Purchasing Products with no contents inside.Otherwise Fave colors are Bedtime Flirt, Ruffle Trim, and Push Up.

I thought this product was ok. The coverage wasn't too good. The colors were decent, but like most they were too dark and the lighter ones were too pink. The texture was good, it wasn't too thick or too thin, and it blended well. It stayed on pretty well. I prefer the maybelline concelers though, and the price wasn't that great in accordance to the quality.
