I was very excited when i saw the new Smashbox x Vlada Photo Finish Petal Metal Collection and purchased several of the items. I was most excited about the primer since it looked similar to their Radiance Primer which I like to use on days I need a little extra glow. The Vlada Photo Finish Petal Metal Primer is a more intense version of the Radiance Primer. The formulas are very similar and are fragrance free which I like. If you have very very fair skin I think this might be too pigmented to use all over as a primer, it might be better to use as a liquid highlighter on specific areas. My review video has swatches of the new primer and a comparison of the Vlada Petal Metal Primer with the Radiance Primer, which can be seen here:

I have a lot of redness and a few brown spots on my face so I tried this. It is supposed to be full coverage and it was, but I needed to go over my red areas a few times with my brush to achieve this. My skin is light-medium so I got the Light Beige, which was fine, I would need a darker shade in summer though. This covers well, but looks slightly cakey because I had to apply it more heavily. Maybe the included ponge pad would give heavier coverage. I had to use a separate concealer for my brown spots, as the coverage is really only meant for redness. This has nice packaging--a sturdy compact with mirror and compartment for pad. I am not a fan of powder foundation, because they usually take more work to cover for my oily skin than liquid ones, especially in summer, but this one is very good, so I'll keep it for casual makeup in cool weather, but don't think I'd rebuy, because it's expensive and I won't use it every day.

This baffles me. I had plain Miss Dior from Macy’s (returned because I couldn’t smell anything from it at all—it was like being anosmic. Which I am not bcoz I got a bottle off a friend on Facebook she procured from Ulta & I loved it!). so when my bottle of Miss Dior was getting low I noticed Miss Dior abso blooming comes in rollerball! It’s $48 for parfum & $38 for edt but .....get this the rollerball is 0.6oz! Perf purse size! I’m def not anosmic. What a lovely scent! The scent is amazing. If you like LVEB & coco mad ... run don’t walk to Ulta bcoz I think the rollerball is their exclusive but I’m not 100 on that. This is sweet like candy I get a lot of vanilla & some caramel melt listed but also some white musk. Beautiful smells like money =] I mean it smells expensive not cheap. It’s a bright ray of sunshine. I can’t wait to wear this when the weather is really hott; I love it!

I am OBSESSED with this product. Absolutely obsessed. Lots of days I do a bold lip (and if that’s what you’re looking for then this isn’t for you), but on days that I want something subtle or where I know I’ll be eating a lot so don’t want to be too bothered with my lipstick or when I’m lazy or forgot lipstick or even if I’m off to the grocery store and don’t want to do makeup but also don’t want to look like a zombie, this is my go-to. It’s a lip-balm, and it’s super moisturizing (just like the normal 8 hour cream), but it’s surprisingly pigmented. And the colour is perfect, because it’s bright but not in-your-face. I haven’t tried the pink or red ones, but I definitely will in the future. I couldn’t live without this product in my handbag. The other day I saw a yum guy in the line at the bank and I looked like death but luckily I had this baby in my handbag and could slap it on.

One of the best mascaras I've found so far. And it's so cheap! Doesn't clump, gives definition and length. Works differently when my lashes are not curled, but it still doesn't clump. I'm usually the person that looks ridiculous with just mascara on their eyes but this little gem here changed the game. My lashes are: thin, medium to high fullness, medium to short length, straight

I was excited to try this because the provacalips is awesome and I literally have to scrub the shit out my lips to remove. So I thought this may be in the same realm as their other lines. First off, I do not think this is very pigmented and you will have to swipe your lips with it at least three times before you get an even application. This faded on me in less then 3 hours. The Wet n Wild matte lipstick works better then this. I usually like Rimmel but on this product I give one lippie.

Soft and gentle — the name speaks for itself. It’s super pigmented but so subtle since it’s not glittery at all. Mine has lasted forever and I use it every day. Love love love. First highlighter I ever purchased and I’ve never strayed. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with MAC for years but this is one product I stand behind wholly.

Any and all of Kylie Jenner's make up is garbage. Customer service is horrible and she markets towards 7 year olds but y'all goofy people will still buy from her.

I recently hauled 8 bottles of color from H&M for $6 a piece (I originally thought they were $8 each, but that's the 'gel' version, so $6 is even better!). I'm not thrilled with all the shades I picked (I even tested them in the store but you never really know until you do the mani), but they are workable for unusual manicure effects. What I love most about H&M polish is the packaging & materials -- (#1) bottle is nice & is easy enough to handle, (#2) the brush is PERFECTION, (#3) the formula is rich, spreads well & applies without difficulty. Essie Gel Couture has the best brush I've ever used (more so than Dior which is also good, but I am not a fan of OPI's brush), but that's now trumped by the H&M brush. This brush is substantial, flat, tapered and curved to fan closely around the natural contours of the cuticle outline. This is the first manicure I've ever done myself with no smears or cuticle flooding and required entirely no cleanup whatsoever. This brush just gives far better coverage and control than any other brush I've ever encountered. So I will be going back to H&M for more....large selection available. Interestingly, not all locations offer cosmetics/nailpolish, so you have to find the locations that do. I'm happy I know of one in my area so far. The makeup display reminds me of something from Sephora...This might be weird, but even if I hated all the colors offered I'd still buy more (clear is available & sheer white "Ice Cold Milk" is basic + classic) just to have the bottles to reuse for favorite polishes that come in terrible packaging. I bet this brush would make my favorite polishes apply neatly.

A classic for a reason. It’s reputation speaks for itself. You’ve just gotta believe that if people are raving about it for so many years, there’s a reason behind it. I know a lot of people find issue with the scent, and it is quite medicinal and definitely wouldn’t be my choice in perfume, but although there is an unscented one I always go with the original. I love the authenticity of it. I love that women have been using this exact product with this exact scent for decades, and that Elizabeth Arden has stayed true to that. I find that awesome and weirdly empowering. But maybe that’s just me.

I’ve been using this for about a year and a half...since it arrived on the market in late 2016. I like it, but I don’t love it. I’ve used everything from Le Mer to SK-II. I like this much better than those brands/products, and I keep purchasing this, because I like it and it makes my skin look amazing. My skin glows. The only reason I do not give this 5 stars is because we all know there is always something better out there. The truth is I always come back to Clarins products. What I hate about this product is it really should come in tube. It’s not thick, and it really doesn’t need to be in a jar. I would give it 5 stars if they packaged it in a tube. A jar is incredibly unnecessary and unhygienic. I think the price of $48 is fair, because I’ve paid much, much more for junk. I really wish cosmetics companies would stop with the jars of moisturizers, especially when a tube is perfectly fine. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves. It really is a good, solid product, and a little goes a long way. 1.7 ounces lasts 6-7 months. I have combination normal/dry skin, so if you have dry skin, this may be fine as a day cream, but if you really are on the dry skin side, this will NOT be enough.

I wanted to use a hundred different swear words a thousand times but I’m scared my review gets taken down. I’M JUST SO OBSESSED WITH THIS PALETTE. Seriously, Morphe is doing it SO right. Pigmented, creamy, long-lasting, awesome colours. Honestly couldn’t ask for more.

I HATE that I’m giving this a bad review, because I seriously wanted to love it, but it gave me such horrible breakouts that I’ve been insecure about my skin at work for weeks, and stealing your confidence from you is really just the worst thing a beauty product can do for you. The packaging is gorgeous! I don’t agree with the reviews that the pearls are too glittery; I felt like the SLIGHT shimmer beneath my make up made my skin look iredescent. But that’s where it begins and ends. It made my skin break out horribly, and it’s flipping expensive (I don’t mind paying a lot for something that works but it doesn’t), and it not only didn’t do it’s job but made my skin the worst it’s been since I was 16. Utterly disappointed.

This bronzer is fabulous. Has a slightly rosy undertone and doesn't pull orange or muddy on the skin. It reminds me of the bobbi brown natural bronzer in tone, but a better formula and a bit more blendable and less pigmented for a natural application.I've been searching for a cool toned bronzer for fair skin forever. Many of the recommendations for fair skin (Nars laguna, Hourglass ambient light, charlotte tilbury, tarte park avenue princess, Too Faced chocolate soleil) haven't really worked for me tone-wise as they all pull a bit too golden or orange. This is the best color I've found as someone who burns more than tans in the sun. I recommend this and NYX taupe blush (old formula) as the bronzers I reach for the most.
