On my quest to find a sunscreen that I don't mind, maybe even enjoy, using every day I have tried several from Clinique. The Clinique Oil Free Face Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 was one of the most unsophisticated and un-eloquent of those I've tried from Clinique. This applies smoothly and is lightly hydrating, however, I have a feeling that people with oily skin might not like using this under makeup because it is hydrating. This is fragrance free but it definitely has that telltale chemical sunscreen scent to it since it is a combination of mineral and chemical sunscreen ingredients. This sunscreen also has a slight white cast to it. I do like that this is an affordable sunscreen and the fact that it is hydrating and contains some beneficial antioxidants. I will probably end up using this on my arms, legs, and shoulders, but not on my face because I own other sunscreens that work better under makeup that have less white cast than this. I would not repurchase the Oil Free Face Cream simply because there are better options from Clinique and other brands. My video review can be seen here:

The less gentle and less interesting skincare regime ever. Soap is acceptable ok, but there are far nicer ones. Lotion is a crime against skin, no matter which strength; a bottle of alcohol and witchhazel sold as something fancy and dermatology approved... yes sir! Then comes this yellow stuff referred to as DDML. Maybe sociology could explain wtf kept humans for decades even remotely interested in this stuff. There are for sure dramatic differences between this system and other really good skincare, but not in the sense the brand for sure wants us to take the names in...

Little background about myself.. I have been on Diane 35 for 14 years, came off of it about two months ago to give my body a rest.I went with this system around the same time has my previous skin care regime was not combating the extremely oily skin I was beginning to get( I’m assuming because of hormonal imbalances). Now on Diane 35 I only got a few pimples here and there but otherwise was clear. My skin was always on the oily side.. but manageable. The first week my skin was completely fine, minus the oil. But did not have any pimples even after being off the Diane 35 for almost two months. Mid-end of the two week mark I began to break out. Each day after this I would wake up with 2 or more pimples. One day I counted and had 20 active spots :(. The three step( I was using number 3) started the burn my skin and almost make it more angry. I brought it back to the clinque counter and the woman told me this is normal for this to happen in addition too the pimples. Now I get that there is a purging phase, but I don’t think it’s “ normal” for your skin to burn ( which was happening with both the wash and toner). That same day I went to Sephora and got a brand called boscia . I am on my third day, which may be a tied with the fact I went back on the Diane 35 this week. And I am beginning to clear up. This is a all natural brand with willow bark which is the natural form of salyic acid. I have read the reviews on this line( its the clear complexion- similar to the clinque 3 step). There has been zero burning while using this. In summary I will definitely be trying to return the clinque and continuing with this new brand! Also will not be going off Diane 35 until I’m ready to have babies :)

The CLINIQUE Super City Block Oil-Free Daily Face Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 40 is a nice sunscreen option for those looking for a sunscreen that is a mineral and chemical hybrid. This sunscreen has a slight tint to it and because of that tint it really doesn't have any of the white cast that so many mineral sunscreens have. I like that this sunscreen has an SPF level of 40, which is above the traditional SPF 30 that many sunscreens have. This has many different antioxidants included which is good to see. There is one citrus ingredient so if you have very sensitive skin this might be a pass, I didn't have any issues with it. This sunscreen works well under makeup and never looks greasy or oily. I would repurchase this again in the future. My video review and swatch can be seen here:

Unfortunately I have not had great success with this product. While I do like Clinique’s makeup products, in my experience the majority of their skincare range leaves a lot to be desired. I simply follow the instructions and apply to a cotton pad before gently removing my makeup. While it does remove makeup, I find I have to use quite a lot of product for it to be effective. As this product isn’t cheap, this is automatically a negative. I also find that it leaves a horrible greasy, oily feeling on the face. I always rinse with water after cleansing my makeup, with whatever remover I use, but this is the first remover I have used that I absolutely cannot stand the feel of. As such, I would definitely not repurchase this product. I believe there are much better makeup removers out there.

I bought this gel as it was rated no1 in all the magazines for acne killing. I found if it was used overnight it did reduce swelling of spots but was incredibly drying on my skin. Used it for over a month now and whilst I see minimal improvement, I wouldn’t pay £25 for it again. Back to the drawing board.

TOAL HG!! I've been using this for 2 years straight, every single night. It is the BEST makeup remover ever and it is THE reason I'm even willing to wear waterproof mascara, eyeshadow, & foundation daily. Apply, massage, and rinse-- you're done! I don't even use a secondary cleanser after this. Don't let the oily texture put you off. This is completely 100% clean-rinsing, and it's fine for oily skin.I have found that it's CRITICAL that you apply this to your DRY face with DRY hands. DO NOT ADD WATER to hands or face until you have rubbed the product all over your face and all of your makeup has dissolved! Once you add water, the product emulsifies completely in preparation for being rinsed away-- and it loses its ability to dissolve makeup.I use about a tablespoon-sized scoop, warm it between my palms, and massage all over my face (it feels good!). If you use waterproof eye makeup you'll need to do a bit more massaging around your eye area. But typically it takes me 20 seconds or less to dissolve all the makeup on my face. My skin feels soft and clean afterwards. Love this stuff to death!

This has replaced my Charlotte Tilbury Feline Flick, which I adore but it dries out too quickly to justify its price. It was suggested by the Pixiwoo sisters, so I gave it a shot and I was in for a treat. Perfectly thin, precise, jet black, matte lines that last all day. So easy to use. I wish I had this when I was an eyeliner novice, it would have saved me so much time. Stays put all day, even through gym and naps, does not run, does not sting my eyes, does not travel to other parts of the eye. I'm not changing this, ever. Clinique, you better not discontinue this.

Probably not the most helpful review because I only got four uses out of the .03OZ/1 ml sample pack I received. Non-greasy, absorbed fast, and non-irritating. Had a weird smell. So yeah it's a good product, but I won't go buy it.

I was so torn about this product. I used it for a good 3 months while I was having terrible breakouts. The good news is that it really did not cause any breakouts. However, I didn’t think it really treated any pimples either. I also had a lot of trouble finding a good shade for me, which is my problem with a lot of the clinique foundations for me. They tend to lean pink, and the few yellow toned foundations are just too yellow. That being said, this foundation really looks flawless going on. I was very impressed with how it looked initially. Unfortunately, it separated terribly within a few hours. I stopped using it after switching to my HG, Shiseido synchro foundation. Overall I liked this Clinique foundation but certainly not enough to repurchase, as the cons outweigh the pros. Price also wasn’t bad for a “higher” end foundation.

Whilst this looks OK initially (not outstanding), the main problem for me is this product smudges onto my lower lid after a few hours, this is something I cannot tolerate in a mascara! I don't live in a hot/humid climate, nor do I have particularly oily skin and I have not experienced this with mascaras from Estee Lauder, Lancome or Dior. This is way overpriced for the quality of the product. The packaging is very simple, but a bit cheap as the print rubbed off easily. Sticking to my usual brands now!

i have oil skin with a few acne and i thought it would help, at first it was good not that good though, especially compared to la rose posay's Teint Mattifying Mousse Make Up which was cheaper. I dont think it helped my ance problem at all. After a month or two i applied it and since then after a couple of minute it looks awful, doesnt help with the oil in my face and it shines a lot and no pore coverage. I have to set it with powder and even then it is not good. I clean my face use cream for ance and primer and is the only make that is that awful. And in the midle of the bottle i couldnt get the product out and i had to press so it was thrown over my clothes, so i had to cut it and put it somewhere else. la rose posay and every other make up lasted much more time.

This is absolutely budge proof. That is no mean feat on someone who habitually ends up with raccoon eyes even with waterproof formulas. It also gives beautiful lashes. It separates wonderfully - I've never had it clump. It gives excellent length and curl. It is not especially volumizing, though, so if you are looking for that, perhaps look elsewhere. The packaging is plain, but that's ok when you have a top quality product and only charge $18 for it. The wand is perfect. Slim, so you can easily get into the corners of the eyes, and with loads of fine bristles to define and lengthen. For me, it is the perfect mascara.

A little about my skin - combination; oily t-zone and normal to dry everywhere else.
I would describe this foundation as medium coverage and I agree with one of the reviewers before me, it’s not glowy nor is it matte - somewhere in between. I don’t love this when first applied. It sits on top of the skin, no matter how much i blend or prep my skin before application. I find it looks best if I blend with a brush and go over it with a wet beauty sponge. And it is not kind on dry/flakey skin. It looks more natural and skin-like after a few hours of wear, once my natural oils come through.
I bought this foundation for weekends - slap and dash. It’s too high-maintenance (blending with two tools) for this purpose and for this reason I won’t be repurchasing.

This is very good. I pair it with my usual routine: serum spot eraser from Lancome and follow by La Mer moisturizing cream, I wake up with very smooth glowing skin. Love it! Excellent as pre serum / pre moisturizer. Non fragrance and good packaging for vit c. A little pricey but I’ll buy it again.
