Dermalogica clearing skin wash is the first step in the Medibac Clearing line. It's a bit generic as facial washes go, Dermalogica like to add a lot of bells and whistles to their cleansers, which for me is silly as cleansers are on the skin for only a minute or less, hardly enough time for active ingredients to penetrate and do their magic. Also many of the facial cleanser designed for acne and breakout prone skins tend to have irritating, unnecessary ingredients like menthol and camphor which this cleanser does contain, albeit if lesser amounts than their Dermal clay cleanser, wait for that one in my next review. There is a smattering of plants extracts and botanical ingredient in this but nothing special, Tea trea oil is it's main scent is definitely noticeable when rinsing. This cleanser is low foaming yet does clean quite well, you would only need a small amount lathered in wet palms then massaged over face, neck and chest, rinse thoroughly, Dermalogica recommend this as your second cleansing step as you would be using this after their Pre-cleanse, a great effective makeup remover that you use on dry skin, then emulsify with water then rinse. I would not repurchase this as you can find many gentle water soluble cleanser without irritating ingredients at a much lower price, often at your local drugstore or pharmacy. Many Dermalogica skin therapists I have noticed don't always let their clients use this cleanser, even if they have breakout prone skin, they let them use it for a while, then revert them back to Special cleansing gel as it can be quite drying.

Believe me when I say it pains me to have to write this - this was my HG moisturizer for over 4 years! It was light, it felt like it was quenching my skins; thirst, I even liked its fragrance (reminded me a little of rosewater!) despite no fragrance added to the product. I was using this day and night and all was well until early this year...Starting with my forehead and then spreading to cheeks I began to notice a rash and flakiness that I never seen before. At first it was mild and I wondered if a food or drink reaction but over the months it just got worse and worse. Changed my diet, changed my skincare routine, detergent, changed everything apart from Clinique DDMG until one day (2 weeks back) I decided to use a sample of an organic moisturizer a friend had given me and give DDMG a rest for a few days. Lo and behold not immediately but over the course of 10 days or so my skin very slowly calmed down, the bumps, the redness, the flakes until now it is almost 80% cleared and getting better everyday. The only thing that has changed in all this period is not using DDMG. My guess is that the 'Dimethicone' ingredient (2nd on ingredients list!) which is a silicone had over the years started to build up in my skin until it had reached saturation point. Tbh I feel more annoyed with myself than the product for not realizing until now what was even in its ingredients list! Talk about a 'blind purchase' lol. Summary: For oily skin folks don't expect oil control because it doesn't do that. It lightly moisturizes anything from normal to oily skin types, but not if overly dehydrated. If you do use this don't plan on using it for many years because depending upon your skins ability to tolerate silicones, eventually at some point this product may turn from friend to foe!Selena x~ My HG list ~(I've sampled 100s of skin, hair and m/u products over the last decade and a half, as I love trying out new stuff all the time - usually sample sizes via e-bay, also plenty courtesy of a friend who works at Sephora. Thought it might be useful to share my top 10 must-have products, subject to change if and when I come across something more effective) 1. Hair Loss Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Hair Oil2. Lip Balm: Jack Black - Intense Therapy3. Pigmentation + Anti-Ageing Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Facial Treatment Serum4. Cleanser: 'Aveda' - Purifying Gel Cleanser5. Concealer: ‘Mac’ - Studio Finish Concealer6. Lash Growth Serum: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Divinelash7. Foundation/SPF: ‘Juice Beauty’ - Stem Cellular Repair (warm glow)8. Face Scrub: ‘Sisley' - Botanical Gentle Buffing Cream9. Moisturizer: ‘Antipodes' - Rejoice Light Day Cream10. Hand Cream: 'Origins' - Make A Difference Rejuvenating Hand Treatment

I love clay masks and I am always good for trying a new one. So far my number is Argiltubo Green Clay from Italy, which is comparable to the Aesop mask pricewise. The Argiltubo really clears my skin up and I mean fast: the next day I wake up with clearer skin and less texture on my forehead. The Aesop mask doesn`t work as fast, but I think if you have sensitive skin, the Aesop might be better for you: when I apply the Argiltubo Green clay, my skin is cool and tingly, but I don`t have this reaction with Aesop. Also, the Aesop is so easy to wash off! Argiltubo really gets into your pores so after rinsing, you can go over with a cotton pad and toner and still pick up mask residue. The Aesop mask also smells lovely. Would absolutely repurchase.

What can I say this is a beautiful luxurious cleanser from Estee Lauder. It forms as part of their Advanced Night Repair collection, to be used after you Advanced Night Cleansing balm for the removal of make-up, but don't fret, this cleansing foam can easily remove a full face of make-up on its' own. The scent is of Lavender oil, beautifully relaxing and calming in the evening, preparing to help you wind down for a good night's sleep. It's texture is creamy and luscious with a white pearlescent sheen to it. Please use a small amount, a walnut size is quite enough, lather well in wet palms and massage generously onto dampened face, neck and decolletage. Rinse lavishly with plenty of warm water. It leaves your face clean, free of all make-up and grime and isn't at all drying. This cleansers' main surfactant is Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, a surfactant/detergent ingredient that I particularly love, as it is one of the few foaming surfactants available that Cosmetic Chemists can formulate with, that from what the research shows is very gentle, cleanses extremely well yet respects the skins' fine PH balance and also does not remove too many lipids from the skin or irritate the horny layer All qualities of that a good gentle, WATER-SOLUBLE cleanser. The packaging is luxe and looks lovely on the vanity. A beautifully made well thought out cleanser, I would definitely repurchase it. This is now a staple in my skin care cabinet. Well done Estee Lauder!

Another Niacinamide laden product from Olay. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is about the only ingredient, next to Acetyl Glucosamine (found in their Luminous collection, used to called Definity) that Olay will utilise in their skin care collections. From their most cheapest sub brand Classics to Total Effects and so on, you will find nothing but one active ingredient, Niacinamide,Niacinamide is famous for being a multi-functional ingredient, it can help with pore size, pigmentation, decrease inflammation in skin and boost skin's own immunity. This SPF 30+ (love the high SPF factor) sunscreen has the texture and feel of a traditional cream or moisturiser so don't be put off by it's SPF factor. It has a satin smooth finish those with normal to dry and even combination skin's could appreciate. The pump dispenser is handy and easy to use. Overall effective cream, stable formula, great packaging and wonderful pleasing texture. I will not be repurchasing because I want a cream that delivers more than one active ingredient. I now solely use Paula's Choice Skin Balancing SPF 30+ moisturiser as my day cream.

I can't really wrap my head about this one. Some days it sticks on like no other lipstick (you just need to re-apply the gloss once in a while), but some days it falls of quickly. Great colours, but I don't "trust" it. And, as someone else mentioned, it dries out your lips.

Hi!I have this lipstick for a while, but never used it.The packaging is gold, with a mirror in top of the cap(which i find it useless since is not relly a mirror, but a surface like a mirror). The shade in the picture is 365,Transparent Brilliant.A pink with a sheer(like the name). The first time I used it it almost broke because outside is hot.I kept it in the fridge before use it again. The lipstick is moisturising so it doesn't lasts too much on the lips, but the shade is close to my natural shade of the lips.I would say is for nighttime, but, depending on the rest of the makeup,it's fine for daytime too.

This mask works wonderfully on oily skin. It mattifies your skin and sucks all the oil out but does not dry out your skin. I use it before I go to bed. It is a little expensive but worth it.

I love the color of this blush, the color payoff is great! The brush that comes with the packaging sucks so I use my own blush brush but it does last all day. Worth buying and very inexpensive.

These are amazing! The pigmentation is very good and the color is vidid. They truly do last all day, better than other department store matte lips! I apply it in the morning and it stays on through the rest of the day. They are matte but not drying at all. I love these and at $8 each they are a steal.

I received a free tube with the purchase of the translucent powder which by the way is wonderful. This primer however was a disappointment. It does nothing for the skin and doesn't make my foundation last any longer. Not worth buying at all.

The packaging is beautiful as is the applicator but the consistency is horrible. I also was disappointed in the color, it's more Russian Red than Ruby Woo, not quite as vibrant as I thought it would be. It is messy and gets everywhere. Taking it off was even more work. Not worth buying at all!

Okay. Where do I begin? I have come here to rant about this terrible product. This mascara is the most clumpy, sticky, and most transferable mascara I have every used in my whole entire life. the wand is so thick that it would just smear all over the place. it smells like toxic waste and it would only be perfect for one look. the look where you want to convince everyone that u have been crying in your room nonstop for 10 hours. literally. its is such a pain to wash this goddamn shit off. like god. one wipe leaves your whole eye back and it drips everywhere. it has stains my eye. STAINED. it looks like I have some sort of infection in my eye or some sort of dirt everywhere. honestly the consistency of the mascara and the pigment is fine but everything else is terrible. I want to go to the creator of the mascara and have a whole chat about how terrible this mascara is over a cup of tea. im literally 14 and I better stuff to complain about other than this mascara that has lefty eye black. Thank you and goodbye.
