Mascara -Lancome - Monsieur Big Volume Mascara

on 10/22/2017 1:56:00 AM

A good mascara. Doesn't really curl my lashes, lifts and makes my already good lashes look like they have mascara on.. doesn't really elevate them to the next level.. impossible to remove. Gets the job done but not worth the price

Love it! Easy to apply and adds a nice amount of shimmer under certain shades! Also prevents creasing! I would repurchase

Treatments (Face) -Unlisted Brand - Herbivore Orchid Youth Preserving Oil

on 10/22/2017 1:43:00 AM

This is a lovely face oil. I have oily/normal combo skin, not sensitive/reactive, that at times gets dehydrated. I rarely break out. This does have coconut oil, so some may find this clogging. I bought this as my summer oil, since it's marketed for "balanced" skin. It served the purpose well. It adds a moderate amount of moisture and helps seal in whatever hydrosol/toner I sprits on before. I use about 3-4 drops and it's plenty. The bottle is rather large, so it has lasted me a long time. I will be trying the Phoenix oil next, as cooler weather is here and it claims to be better for drier skin.

Tinted Moisturizer -Pixi - H2O Skin Tint

on 10/22/2017 1:36:00 AM

This is a holy grail for me and I have only one complaint, and that is the ridiculous color range. Only 3 colors. I have all 3 colors but I usually use nude and warm and mix them. In the winter I sometimes I mix in some of the cream. This has no SPF and I love that it doesn't. If I want sun protection I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. Sunscreen in some products really irritates my skin and makes it itchy. Why use it when you don't need it? Sometimes less is better.

Here is the description from their website:

• Innovative complexion-enhancing gel tint for a smooth, fresh faced look all day
• Cooling & refreshing formula gives a flawless finish to skin that feels much lighter & more breathable than a traditional foundation
• Hydrating, long-lasting & water-resistant
• Suitable for even the most sensitive skin
• Paraben & fragrance free
• Not tested on animals
• 35,l/ 1.18 fl. oz Price- $24.00

Target carries Pixi but I prefer to get it on the website. It seem fresher, I know it hasn't been tested or messed with and they give you Pixi rewards each time you purchase that you can use toward your next purchases, plus no sales tax and free shipping.

I put a couple of pumps from each color, mix them together on the back of my hand and apply with my fingers and smooth it on my face. I then use a beauty blender sponge and go over it. I also use Pixi sheer cheek gel in flushed, which to me is almost an identical dupe for Benetint only so much better, much more natural looking and so much easier to work with. I don't even have to wear powder with this but sometimes i do set it with Laura Mercier transparent powder or RCMA powder. It's not at all oily, it never settles in fine lines or looks cakey, powdery or shiny, just a smooth appearance with a hint of color. I use this almost every day unless I need one with SPF then I use my Laura Mercier or unless I want a more made up look and go with a foundation, but I almost always use this instead of foundation. You can build this if you need heavier coverage, but I don't need it and my main concern is that it not accentuate fine lines or settle in them and it doesn't, it fills them in. It lasts all day but if you sweat a lot it stays better if you use powder over it . It is a water based gel but it has excellent pigment and coverage. I love love love this product. There is nothing I would change about it except more colors and maybe a bigger tube. I also use the Glow Tonic which is fabulous and it helps keep my skin super smooth so that the H2O Skin Tint glides right onto my skin. I love tinted moisturizers and this is by far my favorite. No others even come close for me. Again, I wish it had the color ranges of the Laura Mercier but even with only 3 colors, I mix them and it works perfectly on my skin. Neutrals with warm undertones.

Gels/Soaps -Glossier - Body Hero Daily Oil Wash

on 10/22/2017 1:30:00 AM

Love this body wash so much. It has a lovely, yet subtle, neroli scent. It's an oil that emulsifies somewhat once you start massaging it in. It's very gentle and not at all drying, but still does a good job at cleansing even the more grimy areas like feet. Packaging is nice. It's a pump which distributes a nice a mount of product and I like that I don't have to fiddle with cap. I do wish the bottle was larger so it would last longer, instead of having to repurchase. I wouldn't mind paying more for more of course.

Shampoo -Aussie - Moist Shampoo

on 10/22/2017 1:26:00 AM

Do not waste your money on high-end and expensive shampoos. This shampoo is awesome. I've been using it for about 3 years now. It's funny because I remember running out of my expensive redken shampoo and ended up using my dad's (which was this one by Aussie) and I loved it! It doesn't dry out my hair and it cleans very well. This shampoo has a nice balance. Doesn't dry me out, but also doesn't cause my scalp to be overly oily or produce more oil during the day. Loooove it. Oh and the price is spectacular.

Eye Primer -E.L.F. - Essential Eyelid Primer - Sheer

on 10/22/2017 1:21:00 AM

I bought this, based solely on price, without having read any reviews. It was absolutely awful. First off, it did not apply sheerly, which then caused my Smashbox eyeshadow to look different on my lid and it caused alot of drag when I was applying eyeshadow. It had a rough texture once applied. I usually give 2nd chances to my products, but this was an absolute fail:(.

Foundations -Fenty Beauty - Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation

Had high hopes for a semi matte finish foundation for combination skin. After 3 tries I returned the foundation since it sat on my skin and slid right off the face. Be mindful that this oxidizes! It made my skin so oily after only a few hours of use. The price is moderate at $34 a bottle. Huge fan of the packaging and color selection but that's as far as it goes.

I have sensitive skin and this product caused stinging pain within seconds of contact. It may be soap free but it is not gentle.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion

on 10/22/2017 1:09:00 AM

This is actually my new favorite mascara. I have learned that coating my mascara to the point of it looking like spider legs because it was so clumped is not a natural look and did not look very clean- and I realized that I needed a mascara that caused zero clumps. I thought to myself... will I even find a mascara that doesn't create any clumping at all? Every mascara I had owned caused it in some way or the other.

Wow. I found it! I'm not even kidding you guys- this stuff WILL NOT clump your lashes. It's crazy. It also looks natural. You have to build it up quite a bit, but it's worth it. Only takes a little longer than past mascaras I have used to get that volumous yet lengthy-look. I don't know if anyone here does this, but I am actually able to put another few coats of this on when I do my full eye makeup for when I'm going out (I always wear mascara even during the day)

Overall, I will repurchase and this is my new HG

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 170 Synthetic Rounded Slant Brush

on 10/22/2017 1:03:00 AM

Shocked this brush doesn’t have more reviews! I’m mostly a BeautyBlender girl, but I’ve never seen a brush apply my foundation so flawlessly! This brush gives it an almost airbrushed finish without eating up your foundation. I honestly can’t say another good things about this brush! You have to try it!

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

on 10/22/2017 12:55:00 AM

I think the quality of this mascara is very inconsistent. I have purchased around 10 of these over the years because they are cheap and always on sale. Sometimes it is clumpy right out of the tube, but sometimes it gives you very natural definition without clumps.

BB Cream -The Body Shop - Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream

on 10/22/2017 12:48:00 AM

Despite a lot of negative reviews, I personally LOVE this bb cream. The Light shade is actually a pretty close match to my skin tone.

The product is somewhat low-medium coverage. Personally, I like lighter coverage bb creams/foundations and I just double up with concealer, but I can see how this can be frustrating if you like higher coverage.

My favorite part has been the product's positive impact on my acne. I have dry skin and typically have some acne breakouts. Besides hormonal/diet-related acne, I have noticed that my acne has decreased, particularly on my forehead, and I'm pretty sure it's because of the tea tree oil in this product.

I saw other reviews mentioned that the product didn't last long. For me, I think the product has good longevity. As I said, I have dryer skin, so that may not be the case for oily skin.

Lotions/ Creams -Palmer's - Cocoa Butter Formula (All Formulas)

I like this as a moisturizer but the smell is rather unpleasant. It makes me think of watered-down chocolate milk,

BB Cream -Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 PA+++

on 10/22/2017 12:34:00 AM

I really wanted something I could wear under mineral powder foundation that wasn't heavy. This works great for that. It helps even out the redness and acts like a primer with a bit of coverage. I don't wear it by itself . It does what I bought it for
