Sunscreen -Coppertone -Sensitive Skin Faces SPF 50

I got this based on recommendations from the skincare board and it has worked well for me. My skin is very oily and acne and clog prone, but not particularly sensitive. This goes on very thick and white at first. You have to work it in. It's definitely not a slap on and go product. Once it's absorbed it is invisible and it works well under my makeup. I don't notice any white cast but I am pretty fair. I can use this all around my eyes (which are sensitive) with no irritation whatsoever. It's reasonably priced and readily available and has a good high percentage of zinc so I feel pretty protected. This has not broken me out or clogged my pores which is my biggest concern with any product. The only thing that keeps me from rating this five lippies is that it is a bit greasy even after giving it time to absorb, enough that I feel the need to blot before applying makeup. Once I do that it's fine and I don't think I get oilier throughout the day because of this product. Overall, it's probably as close to perfect as I'll get within my price range and since I got it I've used sunscreen daily, which I've never been able to say before. I would repurchase and recommend to others.

Pros -- I like the high protection of this and the fact that it has zinc oxide.
Cons -- extremely thick and hard to spread, definitely not cosmetically elegant IMO. Even when I put foundation over it, it looked mask-like and unnatural. Also, I noticed after wearing this a few days my skin seemed rougher and more clogged.

Overall, this has great protection for a d/s ss, but I'll only be using it for the beach or being outdoors when I don't really mind how I look.

I go on hikes a lot and purchased this just to try. The product seems to work. I don't get burned at all. However, be very wary not to get it on light clothing (especially WHITE). My white shorts are now stained with yellow streaks. They do not show up until the fabric makes contact with water. I've read somewhere that if you have soft water, there wouldn't be stains. Again, this is just my experience.

This is my going to the beach/swimming/lounging outside/dog-walking sunscreen. It is not my regular daily sunscreen on account of the sickly pallor it leaves behind. The protection seems good -- I don't burn with it on, but then again I burn very rarely, in general -- doesn't clog my pores, smell is relatively inoffensive (fruity sunscreen-y smell), it's cheap, readily available, and it feels minimally repulsive on my skin. Would repurchase.

I originally picked this product because I have combination oily-dry skin that's prone to break outs and I was hoping to find a relatively inexpensive sunscreen that wouldn't break me out. While this product didn't break me out, it did leave a white cast all over my face. My husband noticed it immediately and told me to rub it in more. My face still had a slight whitish tinge to it. I had to dust powder over it to make the sunscreen look like it was part of my natural color (I have an olive complexion). It's also too dry for me so I had to put extra moisturizer over it. I don't think that this was the right sunscreen for me and won't be repurchasing it.

Self Tanners -Coppertone -Endless Summer Sunless Tanning Gradual Tan Moisturizing Lotion

Well this was my first and only self tanner ive ever bought so I can't really compare this to anything but I will try my best.
Bought this when it was on clearance since I was tired of being ghostly white, I had no idea if this was good or not. The pump is extremely useful and the smell is odd but not to bad and the smell goes away. The color develops very quickly. by the next day I noticed the light tan. After 2 to 3 applications I was tan. It doesnt streak but I noticed pale looking splotches sort like if I dropped water on it? I also have an issue when I put this on my face but I don't think its the products fault. Above my upper lip, I have a much darker line and its pretty noticable. Don't know why. Never heard of it getting darker there.

Ugh. SO greasy and heavy that it felt like my skin was suffocating. It even led to a few clogged pores which then led to a few breakouts because it was so filmy. I left it on for about 7 hours to see if it would eventually soak in...uh no. It just stayed on top of my skin and was disgusting. I can't tell if it protects well but I do know that I will never ever wear this again.

This is a great self tanner, The color looks natural and when the DHA activates it doesn't smell so you can use this as a moisturizer when you get out of the shower and wear it out and about during the day with out smelling like yucky self tanner. I also used this tanner every day in the winter when I was really pale and it still was buildable and looked natural. So kudos to Coppertone for this product.

Sunscreen -Coppertone -Coppertone Water Babies Pure and Simple, Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 50

I just got back from a major waterpark from 12-5 pm, with no hat, shade, or breaks from the water. I am a very pale girl with blue eyes and blonde hair. I applied one coat when we arrived, and about applied again midway. I was wearing a small monokini and my legs, sides, and back NEVER see the sun(they are ghost white). I can tell you that this protected me all day. It was like wearing a blanket in the sun. Not only did I not burn, I can't even tell I got any sun at all, anywhere on my body. The best part is that it is completely waterproof, so even though I stayed wet on the rides, I never had to worry.

I don't know why I quit using this product 2 years ago. I used it during a visit to the Gulf with my family, and I stayed ghost white that summer, even while being on the beach all day. It can be a little tricky to apply, because it is thick, white, and somewhat difficult to rub in, but it is worth it.

This is going back to being my daily protection. I have been using Banana Boat and with that product my arms still get sun during my daily commute to work.

I thought I'd try this after reading reviews on here, and so far I'm very impressed. I'm always searching for an SPF moisturiser that doesn't make me super-oily - a near impossible task. This is actually better at keeping oil in check than a lot of the high-end oil-free moisturisers I've tried, aswell as being a higher SPF than many. Amazingly, it hasn't broken me out. And a big bottle at a very reasonable drug-store price. I like the discontinued Biore Pore-minimising SPF 15 (actually still available on Amazon) for summer when it's hot and humid (and haven't tried the Coppertone in the summer yet), but this is fab in winter so far.

UPDATE (2012): This seems to have been discontinued... Boo. Now on the hunt for a non-oily SPF moisturiser which doesn't break me out. Big boo.

Works as advertised, and gives fantastic non-greasy protection with a pleasant smell, lasting several dips in the pool. Handy bottle which sits on the cap, meaning it's always ready to squeeze out of the tube without waiting for it to drip to the bottom.

Only downside is that I've found it doesn't have the longest shelf-life. After two years, it had developed a bit of a mouldy smell and I had to toss the remainders. Nevertheless, I'd still buy it again (I'll just have to go on vacation more often!).

I'm giving this product such a low rating. Not because I got sunburned with this product but that it promises that if you sweat and the products runs into your eyes that it won't burn or bother your eyes.
Now I am not some crazy athlete but if I was my game would've totally been ruined by this product. I wore this on a trip to Havasu in 126F weather. I applied some of this product to my face. At some point I rubbed my eyes and I got this into my eyes with sweat. OMG I sat there tearing up for like 10 minutes until the product was washed out of my eyes. My eyes burned and were stinging so bad, snot was coming out of my nose, it was completely disgusting but I'm sure entertaining for those watching. Do not buy this product if there is the slightest chance that you may get some into your eyes. You are much better off with Banana Boat Baby it doesn't burn.

I love this product - it's $8, absorbs completely and doesn't break me out. I like it better than any sunscreen I've ever used. I apply a big glob after a light moisturizer and my skin looks great.

Sunscreen -Coppertone -Oil Free Sunscreen SPF 30

Without a doubt one of the worst sunscreens I've ever used. Despite the fact that it's SPF 30, it offered me less protection from the sun than the SPF 15 sunblock in my Aveeno facial moisturizer. It claims to be oil-free and non-greasy, but not only did it clog my pores and make me look disgustingly greasy, it left a sticky residue all over me - I frequently work outside, and when I came home from work that day I was covered in dirt patches.

Sunscreen -Coppertone -ultra guard continuous spray spf 70+

I am really disappointed with this sunscreen. The biggest reason why is that it stains and ruins clothing! My husband put this on with a shirt on (which shouldn't be a problem because you're supposed to reapply throughout the day anyway, and who strips naked everytime they reapply sunscreen?) and everything was fine until I washed the shirt he was wearing. The shirt looked fine before washing, but afterwards it was stained bright yellow all around the neck and the bottom of the sleeves. Totally gross!

Also, as others have mentioned, this stays sticky and greasy and never really dries. If you sit on a leather couch or hard chair, anywhere your skin touches will leave grease marks behind, no joke lol. My very fair skinned husband didn't burn or tan at all while wearing this and that combined with the spray at any angle can are the only reasons why I'm giving this 2 lippies instead of one. Neutrogena Sheer Touch is a million times better, and I have never had a problem with that staining anything.
