I pour vitamin E baby oil on this (while damp) and use it to remove my makeup after work. It shouldn’t work, but it does!
Ironically, my oily skin is loving the baby oil and the moderate toughness of this sponge means my (hardy, long wear lipstick and mascara) comes off better than if I washed my face / used makeup remover wipes... As already noted, it doesn’t stain easily.
All in all, a surprising little gem with many uses!

Please bring this back TBS! This is the only body butter where you don't get tired of the fragrance after a while. A favorite for nearly 20 years and it's gone...People want this back!

Before using this I used the same name oil cleanser which came in a pump bottle. Unfortunately it used to leak a lot and wasn't travel friendly. So I decided to move onto this when it was finished.Very good as a makeup remover, I double cleanse with this if I am wearing makeup - applying this first to dry skin, rinsing, then following with my regular cleanser. It removes everything! I always double cleanse when using this as I don't think my skin will take nicely to this alone. Has a floral scent to it and looks like solid coconut oil, it melts quickly in the hands but doesn't turn into a completely thin oil unlike the oil cleanser of the same name (this is expected). It is like a thicker oil (maybe it's the cold weather).Recommend for 1st step of makeup removal followed by your regular cleanser. If I have a full face of makeup I like using this over micellar water as it's not drying, and I don't have to pull at my skin to remove makeup.

I'm surprised by the not so great reviews on here. Love this moisturiser and have repurchased it countless times. It's one I always gravitate towards unless I want to try new products. It feels really moisturizing and makes the skin feel soft. It does take a while to soak in and wouldn't really recommend it for oily skin. I've used it both when I used to have super oily skin and also when my skin was quite dry (on roaccuatne) and I liked it alot more when my skin was dry. When my skin was oily it was a bit heavy and would sometimes give me more acne because of how greasy it felt- I would only ever use it like once a week or after a shower. I do also feel like the smell and formula changed when they changed the packaging, it used to be better imo. The smell is a bit strong. But all in all a really nice cream, that works great at moisturizing the skin and great under makeup. TBS always has good 3for2 offers so best to get it during one of those, or when they have an online discount sometimes as high as 40% off during Xmas.

I do really like this product cos it made me discover the world of cleansing oils. It melts the bulk of my makeup off before I go in with micellar water/ face wash. It makes things easier with less rubbing and scrubbing involved and my skin feels soft after. But, it doesn't get rid of all makeup, there is still a decent amount left when I run a cotton pad with micellar water over it and at times it does leave a residue on the skin which I hate. Doesnt fully remove mascara and stings if any gets in your eyes. Also there's something wrong with the pump because it leaks and oil goes everywhere on the outside of the bottle, which is a pain. But aside from that it's good and lasts forever. Going to try the clinique one next though.

I bought this from TJMAXX for $2.99. It was sealed and as fresh as it could be in comparison with the same product from TBS store. The product is like a paste and has an orange color. The color disappears and the skin stays illuminated but not too shiny. Vitamin C has been great for my skin in general and this product is no exception. My face can look dull and ashy but this product perks it up. Highly recommended!

I have used lots and lots of eye creams, but they all have failed because my eyes are super sensitive. From Olay to Chanel, each and every experience has been a disaster. For days after using the eye products, my left eye burns and tears. This is perhaps the first product that has not made me miserable for days. It is very gentle but extremely effective. It firms the area and has a cooling effect. Overall, this product has done wonders for me. Highly recommended to those with sensitive eyes.

I have dry skin with a touch of seborrheic dermatitis and adore this cream. It has a velvety texture and smells incredible. It keeps me hydrated all day and the smell lingers subtly on my clothes and sheets. It is not sickly sweet but reminiscent of an expensive perfume, like byredo or something. I have been using Ren moisturisers so the price of this is actually more reasonable. I find it richer than the Ren ones and don't need to use as much. The packaging is attractive and durable (I dropped it on a tile floor and it didn't crack). It doesn't leak in my suitcase or melt in the tropics, I am sold.I have not tried it on my face but on the rest of my body it is non reactive and comfy for my sensitive skin. Aveda and other high end heavily fragranced body moisturisers sometimes make me itch or give me eczema...Nothing works as good a coconut oil in my opinion but if you want a little luxury or a new fragrance sensation (I have never smelled anything like this before) this stuff rocks !!

I have fair to medium combination skin allergic skin and I love this product. The pinky color looks really natural. I use it for my cheeks, lips and creases of my eyes. Kinda gives that 70's make-up look. It has more staying power than my Nars, Tarte and Cargo "all in ones" and it has zero shine! It even seems to stain a little like the old discontinued bonne bell cheek stain that I loved. It is a little pricey but I love the packaging and the velvety texture. I live in the tropics 6 months and the Nars and Cargo ones kinda melt and get goopy... This one stays hard and travels well in my purse! I have been using it for 3 weeks and I have had zero reaction (clogged pores or breakouts)

Bought both the shampoo and conditioner at a sale. As I have really thin hair and a flat crown, i was hoping that this shampoo will work. To my disappointment, the shampoo did not add any volume to my hair after using it for months and my hair was still flat. In fact, there was no improvement to my hair. The price was also not justifiable for the amount. I could have just bought other shampoos and conditioner. Overall, both products were drying and the conditioner was not even moisturizing as claimed. I personally feel that I could have just used other household brands and saved that money.

It smells good. That is about it. Nothing special. I used 2-3 times/week and have finished the whole jar. Didn't see any difference with my skin. Definitely won't buy it again

İt is good for oil skin. But never use this product if you have dry or combo skin.. İt helps for acne.. When i was at 20's i used this.. But i am over 30 years now and i prefer more qualified products rather than this.. So if you are 20's age and oil acne skin, i advise this

Great product. I use it along with the toner and cream and it helps when I feel a breakout coming on.
