I picked up this silicone mask applicator tool at ULTA. I personally hated how my facial masks always got under my nails while applying the mask, as well has how much I wasted (washed off my hands) while applying the product. I previously purchased a mask brush from boscia, as well as ELF, both didn't quite work out too well. (too much waste with the boscia brush, but applied nicely as it is a brush, ELF spatula prevented waste, but hard to spread). I find that I do like this silicone tool from PTR. I used it to apply and massage in a variety of my masks and scrubs (Exfolikate, Mario Basdescu healing mask and My glamglow masks.) This tool has 2 sides, one smooth to scoop up the mask and apply, and one bumpy to massage in the mask. According to the tool instructions you can also use to remove masks, I tend to just wash off the mask as I would not like to "scrape" my face. However it would be great to remove thick cold creme or masks that don't dry.

My favorite CC-cream. Works as a spf, a foundation and a moisturizer. Just got my second tube.

I'm unhappy with this. I can't even tell you if it does anything for my skin, because I'm just so unhappy with its sticky, gelatinous tar-like feel. It's hard to get off my skin. Rather than looking pure as I want to after a mask I find a grey cast on my skin that I have to keep tugging off with my washcloth. And speaking of washcloth, Irish Moor Mud stains them black. I like PTR products. But this one is a dud.

My skin is fairly clear and non-reactive these days but this caused a terrible rash/breakout of small red bumps and blotches. It started with one spot and got worse every time I used it until after four or five days the rash, or whatever it was, was all over my face, especially my cheeks. It cleared up within a day or so once I stopped using this.

If I could remember which Sephora employee recommended this to me I would want to hug her. I dealt with acne for 10 years and for the last year or that, I was feeling so defeated that I basically stopped even trying to treat my acne. On a whim, I went into Sephora and started talking to one of the employees who ultimately advised me to try this product. I am SO incredibly glad I did. I saw immediate results and now, after roughly 9 months of use, my skin is clear and my scarring seems to be quite a bit lighter. I use one pad about 5 nights a week which has shown to be enough to keep my acne away without drying out my already dry skin too much more. That also makes a container last me around 3 months which makes the price totally reasonable. The product can feel harsh and the smell is really strong, but that all fades as the solution quickly dries. This is, without a doubt, the best skin care product I have ever used and I would recommend it anyone dealing with acne.

This is my hg moisturizer. I have 51 year old skin that is (still!) acne prone and very sensitive. This cream is so thick and buttery yet actually clears my acne and calms irritation instead of exacerbating it. It has a very light, clean smell. If it ever discontinues I'll be lost.

I was somewhat disappointed by this mask, as it wasn't the purifying mud mask I was expecting. Its more of a gel and it doesn't dry out, it just turns sticky. My skin felt good after using this and didn't get dried out, but i was not immediately impressed. My skin felt very clean and soft after using, but nothing special. I didn't feel like my pores were decongested or that this did anything more than a good cleanser. And it's a bit messy to take off, it stained my sponge.I don't think i would buy again.

I got this as part of the maskoholic set. It looks so fancy and luxurious in the jar, but up close you realise the gold colour is really just glitter (it's a bit gimmicky). It has a rich thick gel consistency, i personally don't like putting anything gel-like on my skin but others do. It's not so bad as far as gel goes, and it retains the gold sheen when you put in on your face.It is a bit difficult to wash off. The mask left my skin feeling great; my skin felt soft, smooth, calmed, and just looked refreshed in general. Nothing amazing though, i was far from being blown away, but it felt like a nice treat.I don't think i would buy again because i don't feel this is HG or really essential to my regime, but it is a nice luxurious treat for my skin, and i feel pampered AF putting gold on my face. I am glad I tried it and enjoy using it while i have it, i think the maskoholic gift set is a good value.

I got this as part of the maskoholic set. I have oily skin, so I don't need a mask to hydrate dry skin, but I do like to use heavy moisturizers and rich hydrating masks in winter or after I've done a rough exfoliation. The mask has a cold gel-like consistency when you put in on your skin. Personally I prefer a rich cream feeling, but some may like this because it is 'refreshing'. It does leave my skin feeling super soft, smoothed and soothed, it helped calm some redness too, but as i said i have oily skin so i don't notice a difference in terms of hydrating dry skin. Overall, this is a nice treat, but i don't feel like it did anything essential or unique. I will likely keep it since it came as part of the mask set, but i wouldn't buy it again on its own.

First, I recommend using this in the shower. Steam supposedly helps enzymes do their job and the only way I've found to get this completely rinsed off and residue free is in the shower. Also, don't let the price scare you off - this jar lasts forever, even with regular use. I do wish it came in a more hygienic tube, though. I feel like this product temporarily brightens my skin, but otherwise I don't see much benefit and will probably move on once my jar is empty.

OOPS - I didn't know we were supposed to RINSE these off! I've used them about 5-6 times without rinsing and didn't even notice it to be a problem! Hmmm.....I guess my skin is used to the acids and whatnot. I didn't suffer any effect by not rinsing!!!I'm not sure I would repurchase these due to price but they do feel really nice going on. They do not tingle on me at all and actually have some moisturizing aspects to them which I like. Each pad is well saturated. Jury is out on whether these are really doing much for my skin but they are definitely not hurting. They feel comfortable on my dry-ish 45 year old skin.

PTR's Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads have become a staple in my skincare routine, so naturally I have high hopes where their other products are concerned. This is just not a hydrating mask, it kind of sits on the skin and dries down rather quickly, and I don't even have dry skin so it usually doesn't take much moisture for a product to satisfy. It's not irritating to the skin and the gel does have a slight cooling effect, but when I washed it off it left no discernible difference in my skin. I'm not a hater, but really, these masks aren't cheap folks! When I have sheet masks from the 99 cent store that perform better, it's an eye-opener.As much as I like some other products from this brand, and I most likely will use this mask up because it's on hand, I'm not at a place in my life where I can spend over $50 for a product that isn't making a dramatic difference in my skin (was I ever? Who is?) So, it's a pass from me.

I received this free as part of the Sephora Beauty Insider birthday gift. It's just an OK gel masque. I like to alternate masks every other night and what I like about it is that it's very lightweight and refreshing. I can imagine this would be nice to take along a beach holiday as a bit of after sun relief. Is it hydrating? Well if you slap a lot on your face, tissue off the excess it seems enough to skip the moisturizer (bear in mind where I live is super humid though). Is it detoxifying as it claims? Well I can't really judge that. I had no adverse impact using this nor any real benefits. Not something I would spend money on when I'm sure there are a bunch of cheaper, more effective mask alternatives.
Are you sure this product is discontinued?
