After using this product in the shade Black Currant I was left kind of confused. After watching others demo this eyeshadow in other shades, namely Praline, I was shocked by the intensity and beauty and rushed out to get a rather unflattering bright, glittery purple. A fault on my behalf. Still! You get very little product, although the packaging is quite nice. The glass feels luxurious and it even comes with a little brush snapped into the lid which is pretty decent, if I do say so myself. But this color, Black Currant, I'm just not so sure. Swatching it was more glossy and greasy than pigment. Takes a lot of layers to layer up on my lids and really isn't my color, but if you worked with it well and other shades then you could definitely make it look stunning. After experimenting a little bit I found blending it out with a different brush and going on back to layer was the way to go. I mean, okay. But I'm not buying the color again.

HELLO FROM 2017! First off, the color Honey is a dead ringer for the NARS Pencil in Rikugien. It's a cool-pink mauve in the tube but stains to a nice, MLBB-worthy rose hue on my NC25 skin!I have two Honeys -- one from 2015, and one I bought this year because I thought I lost the other one.Prior to this summer, I always swiped some on out-the-door whenever I wanted a bit of color but didn't want to commit to a lipstick. Even though Honey is an everyday, wearable color, it looks really good whenever I want to feel a little more 'dressed up' for the day! Let's talk about how moisturizing this stain is: LAS VEGAS SUMMER 2017. 120+ DEGREES. Nosebleeds everyday. I'm from Texas, so the extreme, dry heat is exotic to me (yet still more preferable than the humidity here in Houston....) My lips were flaking, chapped, even bleeding at some point -- and guess what? This balm SAVED MY LIPS. Carmex has nothing on this balm!!! At some point, I lost my original stain from 2015 and had to buy another, and I must say the newer formulation just isn't as hydrating, moisturizing, life-saving... So I guess this review is for the Just Bitten Balm Stain prior to the reformulation. To compare the two:2015: Buttery, glossy, makes you want to purse your lips together because they're so smooth and soft! Color is more rosy and closer to Rikugien. 2017: Strangely waxy, not as moisturizing, and the color isn't as pigmented. In fact, it's a completely different color. This one is lighter, cooler-toned, and more pink.

This is a nice lip creme/ lip gloss product. It feels comfortable on the lips. Not sticky or heavy. That being said it is not a long wearing product and does not state to be so please do not expect that from this type of product. It wears just like a regular gloss, not a long-wearing lipstick. There is a very light scent that is sweet and minty but you can barely smell it. It also leaves a nice cooling sensation to the lips but not painful or very tingly. As for plumping, I did not notice any. Lipgloss in general due to the shine tends to give your lips a fuller look but other than that I did not notice any plumping from this product at all. What I like about it is that you can build up the color. With a light layer, you have a sheer wash of color and you can easily deepen it up by adding some more product. I have worn these with and without a lip liner and it worked well both ways. I really like this product for everyday use it is simple, quick, and I am ready to go. Great to toss in the bag for easy touchups or when you need to get ready on the go with no fuss. Personally, I used to only wear lip liner with a gloss so this is right up my alley. The fact that it already has enough pigment on its own is great to me. It does not last very long but that is okay with me as I much prefer the way a gloss wears off than lipstick looking a hot mess. If and when I need a long-wearing lipstick, which I don't for every day, then that's what I will pick up but for now, this is working for me. The only thing I do not care for is the price. Not too expensive but I really do not want to pay more than $6-7 for a product like this. The shade, Rich Bordeaux, is a lovely deep Bordeaux color leaning more to the purplish side. It is a deep chocolaty wine shade. The tube was a very dark almost blackberry in color but don't be alarmed it is very wearable. A light layer and it will be a sheer wash of color but you can deepen it up with another layer or two. ( I have been wearing this over Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Adore.) Due to the formulation being a creamy pigment suspended in a gloss the deep or very light creamy shades can be a little streaky if you do not apply and blend it evenly across the lips. However, it is such an easy fix with the slanted applicator tip. Don't just glob it on, use the flat tip to help blend it across nice and smooth. Velvet mink - was a brownish pink shade with a bit of purple. It is a very wearable shade. I like this one for everyday wear. Almond suede - was more of a pinky brown nude and did not show up on my lips it looked like I only applied a chapstick. There was also not much of a shine with this one but again that could have been because it was too similar to my natural lip color. My sister is lighter than me so I got this shade for her and think it will show up and work out much better for her skin tone.

As far as drugstore brands go, Revlon's lipsticks are worth purchasing. The formula is decent, and a majority of the lipsticks are decently pigmented and they apply well. There's minimal feathering or bleeding, and there's no discernable scent which is a bonus for me. It did leave a bit of stain on my lips afterwards, but that could have been due to the fact that my lips were a little dry in the first place, but I didn't seem to mind. That being said, I've been tempted to pick up this shade. It's that deep cool, reddish pink that lends itself well to the retro-style looks that I've been wearing as of late. And given the history of the shade, I had to have it my collection.

I picked up this product in the "juicy peach" version when on offer at cvs, and am glad that I did. I really like this light, emollient balm, with a lovely peach scent, that goes on and wears easily. The SPF makes it ideal for outdoor wear, and the texture (not thick or waxy, but very light, almost thin) makes it ideal for summer/autumn. I like the scent and the packaging (I just wish the cap was just slightly tighter). Very comfortable, nice protection, light wear, lovely hint of colour. I'm very impressed with these for warm or milder weather. (For winter weather, these would not be sufficient on the regular.)I also picked up the tropical coconut version and it too, is very nice with a truly coconut scent. Ian using it during the dry winter weather and it is ok inside but supplemented with a thicker lip balm for outdoor.

Awesome pigmentation and comfortable wand. The formula is a little sticky but its not unpleasant. I only wouldn't repurchase because this colour isn't something I typically gravitate towards.

This used to be HG till I discovered Maybelline Fit me foundation matte poreless.
Revlon has little range of colours and i have difficulty in finding the perfect shade for me.
Overall, med to high coverage. No need concealers for this. Just use as double wearing.

It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. Just...mehI personally found it to be way too thick and hard to blend. And it definitely looked like I had on thick foundation. But the coverage was really good though. Plus I feel like a lot of the shades are quite pink, so I couldn't find a good match. It did control my oils very well. It used to not come with a pump, but they've updated it and some do come with a pump I believe? At least, where I live they've added pumps. Not bad. But not my fave. Wouldn't repurchase as I've found other foundations I prefer.

Nothing impressive about this polish. The color selection is great. The size is generous and it doesn't dry fast in the bottle, either on your nails. The brush is thin long and straight cut, not the easiest combo to work with. Dark shades require base otherwise they'll stain your nail. Light shades can come out streaky and less pigmented than some might desire.

I really like revlon lipsticks...out of all the drugstore options these are the best and they have soooo many colors to choose from. Whenever my local meijer has them bogo I pick out some new ones. This color however is really strange to me..I just can't figure out how to wear it. It comes off like an orange/brown/red...but mostly the orange is the most noticeable....not good for my fair skin....I will continue to buy these but not this shade

(This review focuses mainly on the shade - not the formula, feel or longevity). This is a tough one for me.... I put “yes” to repurchasing but I’m not sure I will. In theory, this is perfect for me: a berry, pink-y, mauve-y toned color that looks like it would be neutral enough to be an everyday, office appropriate lip color but dramatic enough to be equally appropriate for an evening out. In actuality, this reads as a very bright pink-y, purple-y lipstick with a sheen that makes it barely passable for me to wear in daylight - depending on the color clothes I’m wearing. If I’m wearing a neutral top/dress (yes, even black), it looks like I’m going to a nightclub. This is too bright on me to pass for a neutral burgundy lip color. (For reference, I’m a NW20 with red hair.) It reads as a fairly bright, medium pink. I like this color - and it seems to work for most - just be warned this looks far more innocent than it can be !!!!

This is a beautiful cherry-pink red. I will post a picture of me in it (dark hair, purple coat). The formula is really smooth and feels creamy. It doesn't feather but it does transfer a LOT of you don't blot this down.In color analysis circles this is considered a Bright Winter classic - clear and very saturated. If you've heard this is red...it isn't. It can even lean fuchsia on some people. This is sometimes compared to WnW Cherry Picking but I find that one more red and this is more berry.Definitely hoping to buy more Super Lustrous. This is my first and it feels really nice going on. No nasty scents or flavors.

In the past, I have stated my three criteria for a holy grail mascara: tubing; auburn or eggplant; under $20. This is it. I need look no further. Funny thing is, when I bought my first tube of this stuff, I didn't even know it was tubing. I just thought Plum Brown would be that HG eggplant color I like. Only after reading comments on the makeup board about it did I realize MegaMultiplier is a tubing mascara! I prefer tubing mascaras because I travel a lot, and it's easier to not have to bring a separate eye makeup remover. Mascara, and any other makeup for that matter, needs to come off when I wash my face, without a separate removal step. (Yes, I double-cleanse, but I would do that anyway regardless of how much makeup I was wearing.)Plum Brown is actually more brown than plum, but that's okay with me. It's the right color to bring out the green in my eyes. The kicker? $5.97 at Walmart, plus your Sunday paper often has coupons. You can't beat it with a stick!

This is mascara for those who want natural looking lashes. However if you are looking for an intensely black 'made up' look, this is not the mascara for you. Sure tubing mascara adds length, but not the goopy so called 'thickness' that is achieved with several coats of ordinary mascaras. Tubing mascara is really not buildable, and to prevent spiky lashes you need to sweep a dry brush through your lashes immediately after application while they are still damp. 'Tubing' mascara is fantastic - especially for those of us susceptible to panda eyes. I first discovered it 20 years ago & haven't looked back! It stays put all day and removes SO easily with warm water. I love it and would use nothing else. Revlon's version is better than L'Oreal's. Mirenesse also make an excellent 'tubing' mascara.

Goes on smooth and blends great. It's moisturizing, but isn't greasy. Good coverage. Good for my combination and mature skin. Will buy again.
