Foundations -L'Oreal -Infallible Total Coverage

foto

The packaging isn't the greatest for this type of foundation. The foundation its self is very good. I have basically normal skin with breakouts on my chin (hormonal) I do have to say its pretty thick and on the package it says "weightless feel" which i'm not saying its super cakey but you can tell you have makeup on. It blends into my skin very well. I like a brush with this type of foundation. like a dense buffing brush.

I just don’t understand the positive reviews. It’s like people are describing a different product altogether. For me, this is very wet and goes on the lashes in giant globs that stick all your lashes into clumps. Then it dries into hard spikes. I may as well have lit my money on fire. I would love to try the wonderful mascara other people are apparently trying in the same package.

Lips -L'Oreal -Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick

This is my favourite liquid lipstick formula! I have the shades 360 Angora, 364 Milk and Cookies, 362 Plum Bum, 352 Shake Down, and 358 Cowboy. They all perform the same and I highly recommend you check them out.

APPLICATION: The product goes on smooth, even, and opaque in one coat. It is creamy and has a bit of thickness to it, unlike some other liquid lipsticks. It dries within 1-2 minutes, but retains a slight bit of tackiness for the first hour or so.

WEAR: This feels great on the lips. It's not drying, and it seems to provide a slight bit of moisture to the lips. It feels comfortable all throughout the day. There is some wear on the very inner parts of the lips if you eat, but otherwise it does not fade or crack or otherwise come off the lips until you intentionally remove it. It's the best wearing liquid lipstick I've tried.

Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

Its a very nice mascara as it gives volume, curls and separates my lashes. The result is wow after the second coat. It covers any eyeshadow work I have done so I prefer wearing it with neutral eye makeup. It doesnt smudge on me but it dries very quickly and needs replacing sooner than the average mascara. I dont know if I will repurchase, probably yes. About 11-12 euros.

A middle of the road mascara for me, I neither love it nor hate it. I think I've only used it a few times and it just sits in my drawer, probably would only really use it if I ran out of my other ones tbh. I haven't noticed a lot of clumps or anything major but I do see black smudges on my undereyes at the end of the day when using this. The packaging is pretty though.

I'm on my second tube of this. I really like it.

Pros:
-Provides lots of length
-Provides some volume
-Have not noticed any flaking or smearing

Cons:
-Seemed to dry up quicker than other mascaras
-NOT waterproof (I never buy waterproof makeup, but some "non-waterproof" versions still hold up very well). It will rub off if you have watery eyes and will get all over your sheets and pillows if you fall asleep with it on. I haven't experienced this to the same extent with my other mascaras. Not a huge problem for me but could be for other people.

I don't understand how Loreal could put the term "non comedogenic" on this product? The VERY NEXT DAY of using this I broke out in HUGE cystic pimples on my cheeks (where I never break out) and I actually have really dry skin and live in Canada.

I don't really consider this to be a dupe of TF Better Than Sex. It can give a similar look if you apply two layers (compared to one layer for BTS) but tbh, heaps of other mascaras can achieve that in two layers too. It definitely smudges less though.

I have average length, average volume lashes. I like wearing one layer of mascara, and I don't bother curling my lashes. I prioritise separation, volume and ease of removal above everything, and dislike clumpy spider leg lashes. BTS would be my HG if it weren't for the fact that it smudges easily (and mascara rarely smudges on me) and becomes super clumpy within three weeks of opening the tube.

However this mascara is the only one that's gotten me compliments. The first day I wore this I thought it looked really spider leggy (it separated my lashes okay, but the lashes looked really chunky), but my partner complimented my lashes the instant he saw me which he hasn't done before with other mascaras, and he doesn't like clumpy mascara either. This mascara does a good job of lengthening and lifting lashes as well. The brush is different from the BTS brush and has a lot of closely packed bristles whereas the BTS brush is more sparse and their bristles are harder and longer than the usual type. I find the Loreal formula to be much thicker, but the brush makes things slightly easier to comb through. The Blackest Black shade is also darker than BTS, and easier to apply because I rarely end up with mascara all over my eyeshadow (which is often the case with BTS).

I don't like the packaging because it feels very light and cheap. The gold band has already scratched off in places after just one day of sitting in my makeup bag. I have eyeliner brushes that weigh more than this mascara.

I use Clinique Take The Day Off Balm to remove my makeup. It removes other mascaras easily but results in a lot of gloop and black strands staying behind in my eyes which cause irritation unless I gently pat the gloop out. I find that this mascara doesn't leave much gloop behind, but it is difficult to remove. I spent a long time last night trying to remove my mascara with it - even letting it sit for thirty seconds which I haven't had to do before - and when I woke up this morning I found the roots of my lashes were still crunchy with mascara residue. I haven't lost any lashes from it yet though.

As a stand alone mascara with no comparisons, it's great. This is definitely one for girls who don't want a natural look though. I find that it looks nicer without eyeshadow than with.

As a comparison to TF Better Than Sex, it both underperforms and beats it out on different things. I don't know yet how long this mascara will last me but if it becomes clumpy in a month, then I would rather buy sample size versions of BTS. BTS does a much better job of giving volume without making my lashes look chunky or spidery, but Lash Paradise separates better despite making my lashes look like blocks.

I wouldn't mind repurchasing again if I'm stuck for options, but I will keep looking for my HG mascara. At various points throughout the years I think I've found it (Covergirl Lash Blast Volume, BTS) but then something happens and I change my mind on my preferences.

For now I will have two different mascaras based on if I'm wearing eyeshadow or not that day. This is a gorgeous mascara when worn without eyeshadow, and I think Maybelline Full n Soft looks best when worn with eyeshadow.

Pressed Powders -L'Oreal -Infallible Pro-Glow Longwear Powder

I bought this knowing nothing about it but I needed a longer powder STAT...and this was right in front of me. I'm so glad I chose it- my shade was the same as with the traditional L'Oreal powders but this one has a matte and a shimmer side so you've got options. I've found that it can be worn alone for excellent coverage but I prefer using it over a bb cream for a second skin look.

Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous False Fiber Lashes

I must admit, I was in a BOGO mood at Walgreens a few days ago, yet only select L'Oreal mascaras were on sale, really shaping the purchases made. I knew nothing of this mascara in terms of reviews which is unlike so it is a happy surprise that I can say how well Voluminous False Fiber Lashes solves my needs.

Be aware that I use this product over L'Oreal's lash primer, really using it to stretch my lashes. Although this does make my lashes white I have no problems with covering this as one applies this mascara. I typically have more hate than love with different formulas but I found this mascara really easy to apply from lash to tip. The Brush does not look like anything special but it leaves me with long, think, defined and clump free lashes. It is worth explaining that I have dry skin that I add beauty oil that may get on my lashes leading all mascaras to smear and flake and look horrible after a short while. Because of this, I now seal mascara with L'Oreal's tubing mascara which make the entire lash basically bullet-proof. No smearing or flaking and I don't break off tubes and loose them as fallout, an issue I have with other tubing mascaras. This combination gives me hyper-natural looking and I give all the credit to Voluminous False Fiber Lashes, not the tubes I add over it as the tubes have no volumizing powers of it's own, and don't look great on their own.

The only thing I would change is that the top of the tube which I hold in my hand during application pokes me uncomfortably. I would love the design of the top to be changed as the poking is really distracting, to the point that I tried a disposable mascara wand but the I prefer the included brush better, as it really makes me look like I have feathery, fanned out lashes so I will get over the poking, but makes me wonder if anybody actually held it in their hand while designing this mascara tube.

I totally recommend this mascara, I hope it does not fail anybody in the longevity department, and if so maybe try the tubing mascara over it and see what happens.

Mascara -L'Oreal -Miss Baby Roll

It’s an okay product.
I already found my HG mascara (Maybelline Lash Sensational, this stuff is so good), no other mascara can come close enough. This one didn’t, but it’s not a major disappointment either.
First and foremost, no raccoon eyes! I have deep set eyes and 8 out of 10 mascaras smudge on my lower and upper lid within an hour. So for that alone this mascara deserves two lippies. I add another for working nice on lower lashes- doesn’t make them look clumpy. The formula is wet (which I like) but not too wet. I like plastic bristle wands, though this one is a bit spikey, so it’s not my fave.
On my upper lashes, I still have to layer it with my LS. Also, it’s not as intensely black as LS.
I won’t repurchase- I’ll stick to Maybelline.
