This eyeliner is the worst. I usually get the Jordana Cat Eyeliner but I really love elf & decided to give this product a shot. Yeah it's only $2 but I've purchased so many other inexpensive elf products that are amazing. Not this one though. It's not opaque & looks grey unless you build it up, but it doesn't layer well so there's no way to make it work... it just looks bad. This liner has a bunch of shimmer in it, which isn't my thing. On the eyes it was just okay. In order for me to want to use a liquid liner it has to be easy & I have to like the way it looks. This elf liquid liner just didn't do it for me. I've had it for 2 months now but have only used it like twice. I went to use it the other day, opened the lid, & it's dried out already. Into the trash it goes. I say don't buy this product unless you like throwing away money.

I'm not sure why does it call contouring kit since you can't contour with it. None of the bronzers has a neutral grey undertone that would be suitable for contouring. Warm shades make face look muddy, not contoured. St.Lucia - light peachy pink shimmery blush and a dark shimmery bronzer. The blush is similar to Nars Orgasm and the bronzer is a shade or two darker than Nars Laguna. In the pan, the bronzer looks the lightest of three shades available, yet I find it is too dark for my medium-fair skin and way too warm and too shimmery to be used as a contour. The blush is glittery. Not a good look.

I currently own about 4 in the Mocha Twist shade. I have driven all the way back home or to the nearest store that stocks these when I notice I have stepped out without this gloss. It has become my everyday lip. Just enough color to bring a look together. Yet, sheer enough to be worn alone with nothing else. This particular shade is super similar to the Tarte Lip Quench Rescue, in ‘nude.’ I would say a hair more pigmented but perfect. As far as the plumping, I have plump lips to begin with. I do not find this to be painful at all. As a matter of fact, I don’t think this actually does anything at all for me in the plumping dept. my lips are smoother, if anything. I don’t actually taste anything, but my 4 year old does ask why it has peppermint. So if you’re super sensitive, I would suggest you be careful/wary of it (?).

This has 3 things going for it: fantastic packaging, great colors, and pigmentation. The palette is durable, it has this fantastic big quality mirror, and you can interchange colors between elf palettes and thus create custom palettes. The colors are very flattering on my NC 42 skintone, and are intense enough pigmentation wise they will show up on skin much deeper than mine. That is where the good ends. The finish of the blushes is not ideal. They look dry and get patchy so easily. The only way I have found to be able to apply them evenly/smoothly is with a paddle style blush brush (like the elf blush brush) in sweeping motions. If I attempt to apply it in blending motions, or to buff the blush, it gets patchy. I won't repurchase BECAUSE they are so finicky to blend and look patchy so easily. I will still keep using the palette though, as my oily skin or setting spray easily fixes the finish of them, and they apply allright with the elf blush brush in sweeping motions. The only reason I would suggest to get this is for the mirror and to learn what shades look flattering on you to then purchase better performing blushes.

This was dirt cheap (I purchased from iherb) and not bad at all. I use 2,3 pumps for all over my face. It leaves a soft matte look. I can't say it works wonders as sometimes I can't really tell that much of a difference when using it with or without MAC strobe, but it's a nice cheap alternative if you want to use a primer.

Got two shades Ash and Light but can't use any. Ash shade pomade is super gray, good for level 12 ash blonde hair or naturally grey hair. My hair is far from that, very unflattering. Shade Light has a copper undertone and doesn't go with my light brown highlighted hair. The pomade part is very waxy and it doesn't grab to sparse areas, there is no way that this dup can make natural looking brows.

This is a good item for undereyes. It is a very lightweight lotion with a pale pink tint so the color helps a bit with concealing. I have oily skin and can't use a heavy moisturizer under my concealer, so this is perfect. The pump works well--it doesn't dispense too much product when pressed, though a tube would allow less product waste. I can't tell if it's extending the wear of my concealer, but it's not making it worse and makes it go on easier.

Feels nice when applied but doesn’t make my makeup stay any longer. Feels greasy I feel my foundation is slipping around over this product. I don’t like the smell of it.

I have this same pallet except in cream. I don’t wear powder blushes as I am a “senior” and cream blushes are much better for me. I use this every day. It is very subtle. I sometimes blend the different shades.

I bought this in sheer, and I like it. It makes eye shadow go on more smoothly and last longer. I dab it on with the wand and use my fingers to smooth it out. I think I paid between $1-$2 dollars for my tube at Meijer. Sometimes I use this alone to add a little emphasis on my eyes when I don't want to wear eye shadow. I might try the pearl shade next. Just so you know, I have fairly dry eyelids. If you have oily eyelids, this might not hold for you. In that case I recommend Urban Decay eye shadow primer. However, if you only need a little help to keep your eye shadow looking fresh, e.l.f. is an excellent and affordable option.

I have two of these brushes, but I don't use them for concealer. They do work to buff out the edges of liquid or cream concealer, but I actually prefer to use my fingers, a small purple Real Techniques brush, or a larger buffer brush for that. I like this brush to blend out eyeshadow above the crease or to apply powder highlighter. It is also nice to use under the eyes, though ELF's Small Tapered Brush is better for the latter. I don't reach for it often since I have better tools for this purpose, but it is a good brush to have on hand in case a blending emergency pops up.

This is a wonderful brush for setting under the eyes or applying powder highlight to the cheeks. It is soft, but not too fluffy, and the shape/size is perfect for use in tight areas. It isn't a one-and-done kind of brush, but it works really well for a few things, therefore I really do like having it on my vanity. Bonus points for it being 100% cruelty free and very affordable.

I like the coverage this gives. Feels like it costs a lot more than it does.It has good light colors for those who have a hard time matching their skin to the dark drugstore brands, like Cover Girl, Maybelline, Neutrogena. I find that although those brands offer light shades, they’re too pink. My only complaint is it does set powdery and my skin seems a little dry after application. However, as the day goes on my natural oils bring back my natural dewiness.I’d like a foundation like this that sets a little dewier.

I have the clear version of this stick and I like it just fine. I'm too afraid to get a tinted brow pencil since the colors never seem to be light enough for my eyebrows, but this is great for at least keeping the hairs in line. Though I'm slowly realizing that I don't really need this . . .

I was using a flat foundation brush with liquid formulas for the longest time and always found them difficult to thoroughly clean and apply product quickly. This brush is a great change in my makeup routine. It does a fantastic job of buffing product into my skin and good for buildable coverage. Great value for the price.
