Just boring skincare all thoughts were in terms of coming out with a funky texture and little about effective benefits. If skin is dehydrated it won’t be enough, if skin is oily it won’t control oil. What’s the point? Go figure.

Tried this out for the summer. Very lightweight moisturizer. Did not break my acne prone skin out. Not moisturizing enough for my combo skin. Would be great for oilier skin types.

I LOVE THIS!! This is the absolute best pressed powder foundation I have used. It blends amazingly easily, covers my redness and large pores but never looks heavy or chalky. I have applied with the included sponge and a rounded foundation brush (mac duo fiber 187) and I prefer the sponge but the brush application isn't bad just not as full coverage. I definitely still need to use a concealer around my undereye area with this but I expected that, but I don't need to add any concealer around my nose like I usually would. I was surprised at how long this lasts, it holds up really well during a hot/humid work day. I touch up using Mac Next to Nothing powder and only need to touch up maybe once a day as opposed to my regular 5-6 times a day. This foundation does look darker in the compact than it applies and does not oxidize so try it directly on your skin. I selected .5 Breeze as I am very fair and I thought it would be too dark but it's perfect. Love the mirrored compact and the sponge included is great, the tapered edge lets me get into the corners of my nose etc. Price isn't bad at $36CAD, will definitely repurchase!

Have already repurchased this item as a backup. I use it as my first cleanse. It’s gentle and removes makeup easily (I use a moderate amt of makeup). No harsh smell. The ONLY suggestion I would make to people using this is don’t share with others. In order to use this product you put your finger tips onto the tub. If you share this product you may be allowing introduction of bacteria from other fingers. If you decide to share, use something to scoop out the product.

This is my day moisturiser for the past 3 months or so. It's a great BASIC moisturiser for practically anyone with normal-oily prone skin... There's a slightly heavy-duty one for drier skin which is the cream formula I believe. I switched to this after my skin was acting up during my Diferin treatment. It's scentless and does what a job a moisturiser should do- to moisturise! Nothing more nothing less. I like the fact that it's really simple, and doesn't make my skin in an oil slick by the end of the day.If you're looking for added benefits (eg; brightening/hydration), just layer on a serum before that... and it should work really well with this moisturiser. I would repurchase!

72 Hour moisturizer? Ha! This doesn't moisturize for 7 minutes! Beware of products that are "new & improved", they may be new but improved hell no. Why would Clinique take one of their #1 sellers & destroy it, they've taken all the moisturizing properties out of this new version. I have normal skin, not dry or oily yet this moisturizer dries my skin down to a matte shiny finish that left my face feeling tight & dehydrated. It serves me no purpose so I'm going to throw it away after I chastise Clinique for their major f**k up.

The perfect solution to my mascara problem! I used to hate applying mascara to my bottom lashes because I’d always smudge the formula onto my undereye area. This product fits my bottom lashes perfectly. It catches every little lash without any smudging. A few dollars extra than what I’d normally spend on a mascara but it’s one of those little luxuries that every girl should have especially if you have a hard time putting mascara onto your bottom lashes!

This is one of the worst foundations I’ve used. It is a full coverage foundation but it is SO heavy. The formula has weight to it, so I always know that I’m wearing something. I need to powder frequently throughout the day whenever I wore it or else I’d shine bright like a diamond. I find it oxidized to a darker shade but was so orangey. I wore this foundation to a special event and after taking photos, I look like a cakeface with orange frosting. The only good thing about this foundation was saving money on buying a concealer, but I’d rather spend the money on a good foundation and a separate concealer if I’m going to look like an orange cake. The bottle’s design was interesting but I disliked that it was glass therefore difficult to get every last bit of product.
The bottom line is, I wouldn’t tell even my worst enemy to buy this foundation. Save your money, time, energy and photos - buy a good full coverage foundation and a separate concealer. Don’t try to save money or space in your makeup bag by looking like a clown.

I am kind of digging these "My Happy" offerings from Clinique. I tested a few at Ulta, and fell in love with "Cocoa and Cashmere". It is a softer scent, not overpowering. Sort of a skin scent, which suits this one especially well, as it makes you want to draw closer and have a sniff. Notes from Ulta's site: "Blissful like the first taste of a decadent dessert. Trigger cozy memories of baked treats. Cocoa absolute, vanilla and musk accords. Clinique My Happy Perfume Spray - Cocoa & Cashmere is an oriental ambery scent to wear alone or layer." "Fragrance Notes: Cocoa, Vanilla, Golden Amber, Musks, Pink Pepper, Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Solar Salicylates" "Style: Blissful. Comforting. Addictive." ---I agree with all of this!!! :) :) :) I can't wait for cooler weather (and snuggle weather!!) to wear this!! But shoot, I just may wear this even now, with the heat and humidity..this does not seem to amp up in weird scents in the heat and humidity, so that's a good thing!! The only thing is not great on longevity, I seem to get about 4 hours or so (but still not terrible, especially for a softer scent like this). Me likey, very mucho!! :) :)

I actually was a very big fan of the original Moisture Surge Moisturizer. It has always been a big seller for Clinique, so I am not sure why they decided to re-formulate it. Now, the new version has basically the same consistency as the old one and has a very light barely there scent to it, that quickly goes away after you apply it. Do I find it to be even more hydrating than the original version? No. It doesn't keep my skin well hydrated for 72 hours (however, I honestly didn't expect it to-so it was honestly not a huge deal breaker for me anyways) and yes, I do happen to have dry-to-very dry, sensitive, acne prone skin, plus, I suffer with seborrheic dermatitis, which is worst on my face, however I just cannot stand greasy lotions and creams being put on my face. Yes, I go to a dermatologist and I actually am prescribed different topical so for my skin issues of which some can be very drying, however, most moisturizers just sit on top of my face, they end up feeling sticky, and like they never fully absorbed into my skin at all. I have tried many creams and lotions ranging in price from cheap to highend, but they tend to clog my pores the most and aggravate my acne prone skin greatly. Plus, plenty of them do have added parfumerie to them that I just cannot deal with, being on my face, due to just how sensitive my face has become. Which is why, I do prefer to use fragrance and oil free gel based moisturizers, because they have less of a tendency to clog my pores and terribly aggravate my acne prone skin. So, the moisturizers that I have stuck with the most from Clinique is their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, which is good for use by itself and under makeup without absolutely any problems. The same can be said about the new Moisture Surge version that's currently out as Well, however, the only difference is that the Dramatically Difference Moisturizing Gel sinks into my skin instantly due to its very light texture, while the new Moisture Surge formula takes only a slightly bit longer, but I have had no problems with greasiness and it causing my makeup to break down very fast either with it underneath. I don't put on a lot of it anyways, because, I don't feel that any moisturizer should be applied heavily to ones skin, no matter what. Our skin's pores need to breathe and even applying lots of moisture to ones face, before putting on lots of makeup is simply overkill for anyone's skin. This new re-formulation, can be used twice a day, if needed, and it can be used in the underwhelming area without any issues as well. Now, I will say, that I did not care for the Moisture Surge Intense, because of the smell, and I though that it was pore clogging to my face, and did create pimples to occur, and just plain wasn't better than the original Moisture Surge, and don't e ear plan to buy that one ever again. But, yes, I will continue to buy the newly re-vamped Moisture Surge version that's out now, because I can no longer get the original version anymore, and this is is as close to the original version, that Clinique sells anyways, so I do see it as something that I will definitely continue to keep in my skincare regimen for sure. This product is designed for use on all skin types, so no matter what skin type you have, I highly recommend trying it. No, it is. Ot going to flood ones skin with a super amount of moisturization, but nonetheless, I think that it is a really great moisturizer that you can apply whenever you need it, and it can be applied over ones makeup throughout the day, as well. I do wish that it came with a hygienic spatula for use towards getting it out with, instead of having to use your fingers, however, I can live with it's packaging, nonetheless. I would have rated this product a 5, but the only reason why I didn't is because I was a super huge fan of the original Moisture Surge and saw no real reason for it to re-formulated at all.

I love this cleanser during the winter for my acne-prone, oily skin because my skin can get a little dry in the winter and this isn't too harsh/won't dry it out. Smells nice, doesn't irritate my skin, controls pimples. However, you go through a whole bottle SOO FAST! One bottle usually lasts me less than 2 months, which isn't the best considering the price.

Been using this foundation for over a year now, and this is my thought on it. The very first bad thing about this is that the shade range is terrible, and all of the shades tend to have pinkish undertone (I have yellow/neutral undertone). This foundation is also very drying, so I need to put foundation on a part of my face, and blend it in, before going to the next part. If you put it all over your face and then blend, it will most likely dry before you have time to blend it. It also oxidize a bit.But somehow, this foundation looks WONDERFUL after you've applied it, it looks just like skin and doesn't feel like you're wearing a mask. This foundation doesn't cling to my pores or dry patches at all, even if it is quite drying (weird, huh?). This foundation does not break me out, and actually also covers up most of my old acne scars. It has amazing staying power because of its dryness and does not fade through the day - I rarely touch up, I only get a little oily in my nose so I powder there. I've bought this foundation a couple of times and would definitely buy again (if I dont find another foundation that is better ofc)A TIPIf you want to use this foundation but have yellow/neutral undertones - you can buy the Maybelline Age Rewinder Concealer in shade Neutralizer (yellow color) and balance it out on your face after using the foundation. I'm doing like this and it works very well.

Update: I wore this while cooking for a banquet in very hot and humid kitchen. Sweat was poring off of me. I thought for sure this BB lotion would be in noticeable rivulets down my face but after the sweat dried, the makeup still looked good. Am pleasantly surprised.I have been looking all summer for a foundation or BB cream with light to medium coverage, light feel, and long wearing. I'm surprised I found it here but this suits my needs for medium coverage, ultra light feel, long wearing and does not cause breakouts. Bottle is perfect for this very liquidy BB cream. I first chose light but had to exchange for light medium. It has a lot of titanium dioxide so I think it runs light. And it looks great on my mature skin. Floored that I found what I was looking for in this Bb liquid and from Clinique. Note: I kept the light and mix it with the light/med. I am NC 25 right now in MAC tones.

I bought the cream following a youtube blogger's recommendation.I really love many aspects of this BB cream such as good coverage, SPF 40, not that drying and it perfect for daytime! It's a bit pricey for a BB cream but you get what you pay for and I love to pay more for good value.Definitely buy it again.

I've been a fan of Clinique's Chubby Sticks since they were first introduced, but I do not like the Chubby Sticks Intense version. Yes, they're highly pigmented, as much as a lipstick, but this is not what I am expecting from a product which calls itself a lip balm. The real problem, though, is that they're not nearly as moisturizing as the original Chubby Sticks, despite what the package says; in fact, they can be very drying on my lips.
