Perfect for the summer. It looks like light super sweat bronzer on your cheeks. Love it.

Lipstick -Chanel - Chanel rouge allure ink

Bought this in the lightest shade 'Amoueux'...Its quite a garish pink considering its supposed to be MLBB. I like the application and it doesnt settle too matte but - its overpriced and the range of colours are teeny. I am sending this back

Holy grail foundation. Looks flawless when it's on the skin and after 8 hours it still looks great! Always get compliments from people whenever I wear it. Sadly it has been discontinued..

Fragrances -Chanel - Coco Mademoiselle

While Coco Mad undeniably smells terrific, it also smells generic. It's perhaps the most popular and well-done of the hundreds of Angel-inspired fruitchoulis of the '00s and '10s. It's the scent of every upscale cosmetics counter in every upscale mall across America: a citrusy praline floral with a highly sanitized patchouli base that just screams luxury and cleanliness.

Four lippies for the quality and deliciousness of the scent; one lippie off because it's just not that distinctive anymore, if it ever was.

Which is not to say that I don't wear it and love it; I do. I have a 3.4 oz EDP that gets regular play in my fragrance wardrobe. I never fail to get compliments on it. People sometimes recognize it for what it is; other times, they ask if it's La Vie Est Belle or Angel Muse or Euphoria, all of which have a similar structure, although I think Coco Mad beats them all. Coco Mad is impeccably clean, sexy, and appealing. It would never be in the running as my signature scent, though. I tend to prefer my more distinctive vintage fragrances for that honor-- they challenge the nose a bit more, and I like that.

Bronzers -Chanel - Soleil Tan de Chanel - Bronzing Makeup Base

The best cream bronzer if not any bronzer ever. I use it with a damp beauty blender and build it up slowly with small amounts of product. Gives such a nice warm look to the skin without looking muddy. Pretty expensive, mine was a gift but it lasts ages.

Mascara -Chanel - Le Volume De Chanel

This mascara looks fantastic in the first hour or two then leaves me with transfer under my eyes and sometimes around my brow bone. I'm considering the waterproof version but the regular version is a pass for me.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - epique 772

on 6/17/2017 10:37:00 PM

Chanel glosses are always a pleasure to apply. They wear OK but not terribly long, though. Epique (772) is a neutral to cool toned berry red with just a hint of shimmer (very subtle). I think of it as a luxurious gloss for someone with a coolish undertone, but would work for neutral complexions too. On my moderately pigmented lips it is subtle, but definitely would look lovely with fall/winter colours. This one is more neutral than Burberry Oxblood Kisses Sheer, which is definitely cooler, with a definite blue undertone (see my review for more details). I would give epique 5 stars if it lasted a bit longer.

Lipstick -Chanel - Chanel rouge allure ink

Edit @ 4Aug2017- I still stand by my rave reviews. Got my 4th Ink today - #144 Vivant. Gorgeous colour on my. When on my lips, I look absolutely bright and cheery. Vivant is definitely my favourite of the lot. I'll buy in dozens and stock up if they should ever discontinue Rouge Ink!
----------------------
In two months, I bought 3 of these Rouge Ink - 142 Creatif, 148 Libere, 152 Choquant.
142 Creatif is my first foray into liquid lipsticks. In between, I've tried the other brands and I dare say, at the end of the day, I will give up the rest and just keep these Chanel Rouge Ink.
Matte but not too matte. I still apply a thin layer of balm beneath. Only think is I wish they come in a wider range of colours. Despite this, and owning 3 out of 8 colours in just over two months say a lot of how I love them.

Mascara -Chanel - Inimitable Mascara Multi-Dimensionnel

I had been using this for a couple of years and was delighted that I finally had a mascara that gave me curl without having to use an eyelash curler first. They have recently changed the formula. It no longer curls, it flakes into my eyes, and smudges underneath. Very disappointed.

Powder -Chanel - Vitalumiere Loose Powder

I adore this foundation. The super cool 'Kabuki' brush that comes with it is different that love the application. The color range isn't as extensive as some brands but I find that blending the powder to make it look natural is very easy. The only con is obviously the price, but I love seeing this little powder sitting perfectly in my purse and carrying it around everywhere. It has shear coverage which I can dap with my hands over a blemish for a little more coverage. I will likely stick to it!

Eye Shadow -Chanel - Codes Elegants

I love this quad it's in my wheelhouse another nudetrals quad chanel and charlotte Tilbury do them best! I'm a high end MU junkie along w MAC <3 chanel has such classy eyeshadow quads this is elegant & beautiful I'm also NC20 the shades aren't too coolish leaning I agree w all of what the reviewer below me said. Beautiful quad can't go wrong. This doesn't look vampy the color payoff is good. Even 40+ can do shimmer w Chanel!

Foundations -Chanel - Le Teint Ultra Tenue Ultrawear Flawless Foundation

So I have been using this from the bottle for a week and not from a magazine sample and I love it!
My skinis combo and this lasts all day on me.
Underneath, I use a serum, moisturizer and Dior dreamskin.

Pros- very easy to spread, consistency is not too thick and not too thin
The color is perfect and doesn't oxidize at all
I use one pump for my entire face with a little left for target areas
Smell is nice but dissipates soon after application
Makes my skin look very smooth and covers imperfections, with me being older that's a ++
Super easy to remove with a cleansing oil

Cons- price, but it's worth it

I would buy again!

i bought one in 'deauville'. will not re-purchase for the reasons already stated in other comments. color payoff isn't there. it costs too much to just be a glorified lip balm. i'll keep it because we're heading into the dry hot summer months, but otherwise i'll pass on this one.

BB Cream -Chanel - Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow Cream [DISCONTINUED]

foto

Understand from a Chanel sales assistant that it is being reintroduced. She suggested I try Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation in the same shade I used in Les Beiges (30). Not having used 'foundation' for over a decade, I was nervous but like it very much. It's more liquid than Les Beiges, needs a shake before use but gives similar light coverage setting to a silky feel. I'll buy it again. Similar price as Les Beiges.
