I know, I know we are supposed to use sunscreen to protect our skin from premature aging everyday. And everything I read says that we should use something with an spf of 30 or higher. So why is it that every facial moisterizer and coverup I find (that is oil free and has spf) only has an spf of 15 or 20?! So I finally accepted that fact that I wasn't going to get enough coverage out of my makeup or moitsterizer. And I found this. It is oil free, fragrance free, dye free, and has spf 50. It is perfect for my sensitve, acne prone skin. I use it under my makeup and it actually makes a nice base for my makeup. Totally recommend to anyone looking for a good facial sunscreen.

This sunscreen is fine..nothing to rave about though. It's pretty watery and greasy I don't know why they claim it's not. But it doesn't break my back out and I like that it is pretty much scentless and doesn't aggravate my legs right after I've shaved. I'm in the middle about it, but until I find something that sinks in faster, this is good enough.

i really want to make a review on this , i bought the 60 fps one of this , i only bought mine stronger . i think coppertone it a canadian brand so im like that has to work perfectly and its say oil-free , so i went at the drugstrore and i have very oily skin and acne prone , so on summer i really need to use a sunscreen , so im like its only 9 $ canadian , oh my god i was so exited to try it !! first time i put it , my face was oily , and it feels like a lil bit heavy , so i imagine wear this crappy sunscreen on hot day in montreal , OH NO !! and i learned that i cannot put this sunscreen on my lid cuz at the end of the day , it goes in my eyes and it burns ! but i will buy another sunscreen i think i will simply buy lise watier fps 30 for 38 $ ! i wanted to find an sunscreen that i less expensive than lise watier and will not feel oily on my skin !

I bought the broad spectrum lotion in the squeeze bottle. It was one of the many sunscreens I've purchased in an on-going quest for a sunscreen suitable for my face. Alas, as you might have guessed, this sunscreen is not at all suitable for your face; it's gives an awful cast and there's a very heavy feel to it. Everybody's skin is different--and really, there's no telling for sure, but I suspect it broke me out BAD (stupidly, I tried to make it work for about 2 weeks). I'm not sure anyone's as stupid as I am, but just in case, I would strongly discourage those with acne-prone skin from using this on their face. I've since discovered that it's not even suitable for the rest of my body. I recently tried wearing it just on my arms, and man, I just couldn't stand the heavy, lingering odor it gave off, not to mention the heavily coated feel to it (I felt it there all day long, and I really worried about my clothes). Thumbs way down. I gave it a two because I've never been burned or tanned with it (and due to meds and a lot of topicals, I'm very sun-sensitive).

i bought this because i was looking for a sunscreen that is not oily and that doesn't smell awful..basically...one that i would actually ENJOY using since we all know that we're supposed to use a large amount of sunscreen EVERYDAY, even in winter. i was hoping that this one would do for me but it didn't.although it is slightly better than the other ones i've used (vichy, avene, neutrogena etc.), i do not like the texture and it makes my face shiny.i do, however, like the packaging and the fact that it is oil and fragrance free and also contains vitamin A & E.so if you don't mind the texture and feeling, it is definitely a good sunscreen.

Ugh! At first this product was great, sprayed on to my skin nicely and drys quickly but after my second use the it started to like spray less? and at my third of use nothing totally sprayed at all. It's like clogged and only at my third time of use!!!! NOT COOL at all. Total waste of my money and time. i think I got this for about 8 dollars but with the tax and everything it was about 10 dollars and that all went into the garbage grr >:| I'm totally gonna stick with the lotion sunscreen for now :P

Honestly I don't know why this products has such good reviews. The smell, yes is not as bad as most self tanners. The color I admit for a self tanner is a alright, but it still has a orange color to it. But the worst is that it will look nice for a day (when applied correctly) but just for that one day. the next day it will start peeling and looking patchy. My suggestion is is that its not worth it. Don't buy this product find another self tanner. even though this one is affordable.

I totally respect other people's perspectives on this product, but at 14.5% zinc oxide, there is no way I would ever expect this not to be thick and to not leave a major white cast so I personally can't knock it down for that. I wouldn't use it on my face, but I love it for the rest of my body. I got 8 oz of this for about $8.00 so I think the price is decent too.

I like this sunscreen for my body because it does a good job protecting my skin from sunny florida days. I can't use it on my face because it will break me out. It has a white cast but you can rub it in and it does feel greasy. It also has a heavy feel to it. I am not crazy about the smell of this sunscreen; it smells like you are wearing sunscreen. you get a lot of sunscreen for your money so I don't mind using it on my body when I go out in the boat or to the beach:) but I need a more lightweight, less greasy formulation for my face.

I bought this on sale and it was not a good purchase for me. I was looking for a sunscreen to wear on my face underneath my make-up. This lotion was super thick, never really felt like to absorbed into my skin, and within an hour of applying my make-up I looked oily and one hot mess. I tried to use this product for my body as an alternative to tossing it out or trying to give it away. Sadly, I didn't like how it felt on my skin. Pretty much made me feel and look greasy all over.

this is a great sunscreen for use on my face because it is gentle and smells nice and does not cause my face to break out.

I have mixed feelings about the Coppertone Gradual Tan Moisturizing Lotion. First of all, the smell is just ok. I would rather it didn't smell at all. I prefer to only smell my perfume. The packaging is a little awkward to use. When I press down on the pump the product does not dispense enough out. I have to keep pressing on it. Maybe I just got a defective bottle. The product itself does go on nicely, and does not streak on me. It is not orange either. The one thing that I don't like is you have to use it every day to build the tan. Hence the name gradual tan. When I purchased it I did not read the tiny print on the back. I don't mind reapplying it, but I don't want to do it everyday. I rather do it just once a week. It seems to me that you are using a lot of product. I imagine you would go through quite a few bottles. I will say that the color is coming out very natural looking, but I don't think I would purchase it again.

I have combination skin so it's very important for me not to have anything really greasy on my skin because it becomes shiny and I break out. After reading some reviews I decided to buy it - simply because it was oil-free and I really needed a sunscreen for everyday - I am in love with it. Its really smooth on my skin, its a great primer before you put your foundation and I can wear it everyday to help against harsh UV rays. Its perfect - I would recommend it.
