I have used so many mascaras, it's pitiful! I used this one time and threw away all my others! It doesn't flake, it really extends your lashes and it's a really dark black, which makes your lashes really pop!I used it along with Babelash lash enhancer and after that kicked in and I used the mascara, I constantly have people asking me where I have my lashes done. I wasn't sure about the odd shaped brush at first because I'm all about the shape of the brush but I LOVE it too. Buy this product, it's amazing!!

I had absolutely no intention to buy yet another palette but this was love at first swatch. Glittery shades were SO incredibly pigmented that I just couldn't resist. No regrets though, this is an excellent one. It has a nice matte transition shade, a nice matte base shade, a brownish matte crease shade to deepen the crease and a pigmented semi-matte black shade to line. Also a good selection of glittery shades to change up your looks. It is the only palette I have that can complete a look by itself. It is very easy to use. I do have some cons to share, none of which affect my 5 lippie rating:I'm not a fan of the packaging. It feels too bulky and cheap. If something says GOLD in its name it should at least feel expensive IMO.I don't like the shades "money bags" (green one) and "new money"(pink one). Not only don't they belong in the color scheme, they are also not as pigmented as the rest of the palette. Feels like they were thrown in just to make the palette look prettier. There is no applicator which might be a disadvantage for some. (not for me)When I first read "chocolate gold" I thought it was named after the color scheme. As it turns out, gold is actually listed somewhere in the ingredients. What does gold actually do? It feels a little gimmicky to me...Aside from all that, this is a very nice palette to have.

I wear this over my liquid foundation, and I like it. It is a medium coverage powder, but it does not make my face look cakey , and does not emphasize pores . It does not do a great job of controlling oil (it does not claim to, but just mentioning it if your skin is very oily) so I do need to touch up after a few hours. The light cocoa scent can not be smelled once applied to your face, which is good as heavily scented products give me a headache. Packaging is nice and sturdy, never had any issues with it randomly opening up in my makeup bag , the only reason why I took off a star is because it's expensive, plus you do not get much product. After only about 2 weeks of use. I can see the rings from the pan coming through.

This palette is definitely up my alley!!!! I love all things holographic and i love unicorns!!!The e/s in this palette are super pigmented and blend out like a dream!!! All the colors pack a punch even when used dry!!!! You can also use them wet and they 're even more metallic and holographic.I'm still kinda iffy on the packaging. it's cute but does look very cheap especially compared to the new Tarte Mermaid collection that came out.

I am reviewing for the oil free version which is also for sensitive skin. Not sure if they sell it anymore because I can’t find the page for that one, it’s in a white tube rather than the pink tube. This is an ok silicone primer, does the job. But probably won’t repurchase because it doesn’t hand out to me in any way given the price being on the higher side.

This product earns five stars in every category. Exquisite texture and color allows a light touch with the brush to assure beautiful, believable warmth. I do not contour, applying this product only where sun would naturally hit on high points of face. A masterful creation, Too Faced. Thank you.

Gorgeous, highly pigmented warm colors. Beautiful on my NC35 complexion with brown eyes. Much warmer, with creamier texture than UD Naked, which has been my go-to until now. One lippie off for price and also lack of brush or carrying place for my own brush.

I had no intention of buying this palette. I don’t own any of TF chocolate palettes because I’m not that into neutrals- so I don’t need dozens of neutral palettes. When I saw the promo pics I felt indifferent, thought “another neutral palette, groundbreaking”. But I got a coupon from Sephora so I went to store to check out potential buys. When I saw and swatched Chocolate Gold though- it was an instant love. Those greens, silvers, purples and golds! This palette looks 10 times better iIRL than on photos. Formula: The pigmentation of most shades is amazing. They’re very creamy, so I apply shimmers with my finger and the color payoff is great. My top 3 shades are “Chocolate Gold” (intense yellow gold, it’s great it’s one of the two big shades), “Money Bags” (forest green), “Old Money” (copper). All shimmers look pretty applied all over the lid. I was hoping the fuchsia shade will be equally pigmented, but sadly it’s not. I’ll still reach for it though bc I love pink shadows. The plastic packaging was a small disappointment- I was expecting metallic case like my Sweet Peach palette has, but the gold part collects fingerprints. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and absolutely recommend it.

This was a total impulse buy: I found it at a drugstore in Japan for about 19 bucks, and as I rarely see Too Faced products in Japan, I grabbed it. This is something that you would maybe purchase for your high school kid, if they`re into make up. Here in Asia, it barely stands out, as everything is so cutsey, no matter what the age group it`s targeting. The colors are really bright and pigmented, perfect summer colors for a pool party or a fun day. I wouldn`t wear them on an every day basis, although the top cocoa shades could do the trick for an everyday look. I wouldn`t pay more than 19 bucks for this, but as I needed some fun, bright colors, I opted for these. They blend really well and last great with primer. That green shade is emerald gorgeous and combined with the pink and dark purple makes an awesome colorful smokey eye. The stickers, I ended up giving them to my neighbor`s kid.

This was an impulse purchase fueled solely by the adorable packaging, and unfortunately it didn't work out. Pros: - adorable!- easy to grab for those days you don't want to think about your eyeshadow and choosing shades- soft and blendableCons:- every row and color combination looks identical once applied. Yes this is a neutral palette but the three rows give the impression there is some slight variance.- very sheer color. This was actually a bit of a plus for me because it looked blended, but I like barely there looks. Also I'm pretty pale (NW15) so anyone darker than me probably won't see this show up.- While cute, the packaging is a bit bulky because the top is rounded. I really wanted to like and keep this palette, I would have no problem using this as an everyday work horse but ultimately I could not justify spending $50 CAD on a mediocre product with cute packaging. I ended up returning this and will look to drugstore if I feel I need something similar in the future.

What I like about the original tin packaged matte palette is the the cool and warm tones included and larger pans for highlight and light crease shades but,I just don't think this palette is worth the price because the pigmentation wavers and the staying power is less than stellar. I expect eight hours from a good eyeshadow and I have lower priced shadows that do this.

This is a great all you need type product; I would give it a 5 if I could replace a couple of the glittery shades with satin or matte neutrals.
I am usually a MAC girl for eye shadows and for quality and shade range I still think MAC is the best, but these are great too. The shadows last without creasing and have great color payoff. The dark shades are beautiful; there are only a couple of light and mid tones, and those are lovely.

At the end of the day, this is my go-to palette. You can create basic looks or something more dramatic. There are a lot of neutrals/browns so you have to like that sort of look to get your money's worth. Some beautiful shimmery lid shades. I also love the pink and purple colours to mix things up when I'm in the mood. Has a nice mirror, good packaging, and smells like chocolate (which everyone knows). It just makes me happy looking at this palette! I will be going on vacation for 2 weeks and this will be the only palette I bring as its so versatile. Definitely recommend and would repurchase.

ProsPackagingScent (vanilla-y, not overwhelming)Molasses Chip (metallic gold)Almond Truffle (light taupe transition matte)Satin Sheets (gorgeous pink-toned gold highlight)Totally Fetch (unusual hot pink—more usable than you’d think)ConsCashew Chew (doesn’t show up at all)Sprinkles (a washed out version of cotton candy, which is already light) Cafe Au Lait (more glitter than pigment, fades fast)Overall, despite so many people raving about these being very pigmented, they were middle of the road. I find Too Faced shadows difficult to apply—they don’t always blend well. It’s a decent palette overall, but if it weren’t for the packaging/scent/marketing, I’m not sure I would buy it.

This is overrated in my opinion! I found the coverage to be on the lighter side, I had to use quite a bit to get the coverage I wanted. It ended up looking a little cakey in certain areas. It also made me pretty oily by the end of the day... definitely not worth the price!
