In a recent purchase at Ulta I got the mini-size of TF BTS mascara and in no way is the L’Oreal Paradise whatever mascara a dupe. I had purchased the supposed dupe for this by L’Oreal first and absolutely hated it. That formula flaked and left black smudges under my eyes and on my upper eye lids in record time. TF BTS mascara applies like a dream. At first I questioned if I was even getting any on my lashes because it feel like nothing going on. But then my lashes were longer and fuller and without even looking like I had mascara on. No clumping, no flaking, just smooth black feathery lashes with enough volume to receive countless compliments. Lashes do not feel stiff or sticky, they feel like lashes. No irritation at all and I have wicked allergies that affect my eyes in the worst way and I prefer tubing mascaras for this reason. What really surprised me was the application. Normally I make a royal mess when putting on mascara as I have hooded eyes. I did not get even one speck on my lids when applying this. I think the formula is the perfect dryness for me. And the brush, while odd looking, must perform some form of sorcery because my lashes went all the way to my eye brows and it kept the curl in them as well! Taking the mascara off was easy too (I use a balm/oil to remove makeup as my first cleanse). I will purchase the full size and hope it does not differ from the travel/mini size because this is a fantastic (non-tubing) formula.

Excellent shade, excellent formula. I completely LOVE this glitter eyeliner! Half Mermaid is a bright and glowy glittery and metallic teal. So gorgeous! It's basically what I had hoped Urban Decay Amp would be.I thought the best glitter e/l out there was UD Heavy Metal, and I'm a big fan of those. But I had the chance to swatch all the TF shades on my hand side-by-side with the UD shades (my Ulta has some very well-stocked testers!) and what I noticed is that some of the TF shades are dupes or near-dupes of the UD shades. So TF is being a little bit of a copycat there. But the TF shades all had a denser, more opaque formula. My UD glitter eyeliners all require 2 coats for opacity, but that doesn't seem to be the case with TF.Well those were just hand swatches, on the lid things might be different right? So I ended up buying Hey Mr. DJ (gold glitter in a black base) and I loved it so much that I bought Half Mermaid (aqua glitter in a teal base). It applied very smoothly and was opaque in one stroke. These eyeliners are really pigmented! And it lasted ALL DAY with no smudging or flaking. It looked exactly the same at the end of the day as it did when I put it on. I'm talking ZERO glitter fallout. Without any primer or glitter glue or any of that. And on my oily lids! Very impressive. And when I was ready to take it off, it really did peel off in one piece! So easy.I am lemming all the other shades so hard now. I love glitter e/l, what can I say? I can't wait for the next Ulta 20% off because I know what I'll be getting! 😄

Sticky, goopy, way too thick. Hard to take off because it’s so sticky and goes everywhere. Not a fan of the applicator & tube packaging.

This product is very over hyped - they have done a wonderful job marketing this product. Unfortunately, I didn't like the mascara. It stung my sensitive eyes while drying. More importantly, it clumped horribly and flaked within hours. Update - I have continued to use the mascara (I don't like wasting products) and found that this mascara became dramatically better when it dried out a bit. On application it does not sting as much and the clumping has improved - so much so that I can even apply a few layers. It still flakes within hours.

I don't understand the five star reviews for this product. It is super flaky, and smudges all over the place. By 2pm I have racoon eyes. Terrible. It's a very dry mascara and maybe that contributes to its flakiness? I don't know. I'm not a mascara chemist. It gave my lashes ok volume and no length. The tube is a nice metallic pink that looks really cute on top of my "oh, hell no!" pile.

I got a three sample pack from a Sephora order it came with 3 shades, Vanilla, Light Beige and Sand. I opened Sand first because of my yellow undertone, and I wear Sand (winter) or Rattan mixed in summer with ELDW... it was super dark and orange so I opened Vanilla to try to tone it down, this was also dark just a bit less but still orange, thought BEIGE would be better, nope orange! Maybe it was the samples but they are all ORANGE, I mixed the shades together to test on my face while I was at home (so I didn't look like an oompa in public). I applied with a brush and then set with a beauty blender and loose powder... once it was on my skin it blended better and didn't look as orange, but still, it was not yellow enough for me.. This was at about 5pm but by 9pm I was super oily. I won't purchase or retest as I didn't like the wear of the foundation or the shades.

I returned it. I was told by sales person at sephora it’s a good foundation for dry skin. Applied it looks like it’s floating on my skin. I moisturized as always then applied with a damp beauty blender. Looked terrible, my skin looked better without foundation compared to with it on. Exchanged it for Nars sheer glow and love it.

This is a gorgeous mascara, it creates the perfect dramatic eye look with intense lashes. The packaging is lovely and the product lasts long. The mascara does not smudge and it is very long wearing. Does not clump at all. Very impressed with this product

This is a lovely foundation but isn't one that lasts the day. If you have relatively good skin I think this would look beautiful. I don't have bad skin by any means, but it does pick up texture and break down in the t-zone towards the end of the day. While the coverage is build-able I don't feel it's on par with something like estee lauder double wear. If you were wearing this of an evening I think it would be great but wouldn't count on it for a full day of work. Pros:- Beautiful luxurious packaging.- Easy to apply, blends seamlessly.- Natural looking medium coverage.- Does blur pores and imperfections.Cons:-Staying powder- Begins to become slightly shiny transfer after around 5 hours of wear.

This is probably one of the worst mascaras I have ever used. The formula is extremely liquidy and takes forever to dry. It always goes all over my eyelids and under my eyes. Once it dries, it's not easy to remove, however that doesn't stop it from transferring throughput the day.

I got a sample of this primer when I was looking for a redness reducing primer that didn't make my face red and blotchy. I'm comparing this to the previous primers I've used recently and I'd like to say that this should be renamed foundation insurance. My previous primers weren't tacky enough to make my foundation really adhere to my face so I'd end up using more product because it lifted off from my face when I applied it and making it look patchy. With this, I dot on, and it blends flawlessly with no patchiness. I do have oily skin, but it doesn't make me extra oily and this also makes my makeup look bright and beautiful. I'm using tartes Amazonian clay foundation and it looks great over the primer as it doesn't make it break down either like other pore minimizing and mattifying ones I've used. I'm getting this in full size when I use my sample up.

My absolute favorite foundation since it
First came out. Makes my skin look flawless. I use shape tape concealer (I dislike the Born this way concealer). Beautiful!

Dreadful on my mild seborrheic dermatitis. Clinged to dry patches I didn't know I had. I did an AHA peel the night before which usually makes foundation apply well, but this made me look like I've never heard of exfoliation. The name Born This Way is accurate as this foundation takes me back to my cradle cap days. Skip this if you have texture and dry patches. The shade Swan was a bit too dark and pink on my NC10 skin. It dried down to a satin matte. Definitely not a healthy, luminous glow. Coverage was a light medium and covered my redness but not my darker freckles/acne scarring. Moisturized with Cerave in a jar, used a tiny amount of Nyx Photo-Loving Primer on t-zone, and applied with fingers. Bathing in Mac Fix+ didn't help at all.

Best mascara ever! But for all those users who have bad experiences without it I have a trick for you!
This mascara needs to be a little dry to give me the full look I enjoy. You need to use it for a couple of times until you see the power of it!
You need to put mascara from the bottom of your lashes where your lashes starts to grow to the end. You will be impressed when you see the results after couple of uses(when mascara become a bit dry). I hope you will be amaized the way I was when I discovered this beautiful product!
