I am always on the hunt for a foundation that will keep my very oily skin more matte! I have hormonal acne and very oily skin, so most long wear makeup leaves me blotting after a couple of hours. I am not sensitive to any scents or most formulas, but I did notice the signature peach scent to this makeup. It goes away quickly, so it did not bother me.I applied it (along with the coordinating primer and loose powder) about 7:30 a.m. and have not needed to blot at all 8 hours later. The foundation blended well and covered a couple of red marks. It did feel dry-ish on my skin after applying, but this was a benefit in my opinion. If you have dry skin, this would probably not work for you though. It dried quickly to a matte appearance, but did not settle into any fine lines or under my eyes. It also did not accentuate dry spots. My pores looked very smooth and I had an airbrushed, not made up look. The coverage lasts and has not transferred. I will update my review when I wear it without the primer, as I cannot judge them separately yet. I highly recommend this foundation if you have super oily skin as I do. UPDATE: I tried the foundation alone and had to blot once after about 7 hours. The foundation stayed true to color, did not transfer and still covered beautifully though. This is still great oil control as I usually have to blot 2-3 times throughout the day. Still great foundation on its own. I”m curious how it will hold up on my skin during the Summer humidity too!

Smells gorgeous and I love the packaging! Really good quality and lots of colour variety. MOST, but not all shades are very smooth and creamy, in fact my ganache shade is really rough and hard to apply!!!

SOOOO PIGMENTED!! I love the colours and the scent, however it doesn’t stay on for long. Maybe it’s the way I apply it, I don’t know but is better than your average drug store palette!

I really wanted a change in bronzer as I've been using Hoola since 2003! I am so glad I bought this, it's brilliant, very natural looking and has a wonderful smell. I actually prefer this to Hoola as it goes on nicely and blends out well, I found that Hoola could get a bit muddy if you weren't careful. The shade is brilliant on my NC20 - 25 skin. I find the price a bit high for what it is but I can see it lasting a while as it's quite a big pan and I'm not heavy handed with it. I also notice that it's not too dusty so I don't waste product when I dip my brush in.

Love the colors since I'm an olive skin tone but this makes my skin super oily! After three hours of wearing it, I always look like a greasy mess. I went in to Sephora to talk about this and they told me it was impossible it'd make me oily because it had coconut oil in it, I'm combination skin more prone to being dry so I have no idea what they're talking about

Love this bronzer so much! I alternate it with Guerlain teracotta sheer in sun blondes, and they are the only 2 bronzers I'll ever need. It has a peachy undertone that flatters my NC15-NC20 skintone, smells amazing and even tastes sweet! Love it. Looks beautiful with MAC Melba blush and a pop of Becca Moonstone on top of my cheekbones, the combo gives me that gorgeous sunkissed face... great look particularly for summer-fall. I say this would work for skintones up to NC25.

I would be lying if I said I didn't buy this solely because of the packaging, it's just so pretty! I have the shade Something About Berry and it gives such a beautiful rosy flush. I do have to be pretty careful how much I apply though, it's very easy to go overboard because of how pigmented it is and since I'm so pale. But with a very light hand this looks so beautiful and is my go to blush. I do have to agree with a PP about the drawbacks, even though packaging is adorable it's very bulky and takes up a lot of room if you're travelling, plus I find it wears off after a few hours. As far as the sparkles go I hardly notice them but I know some people have no patience for even the slightest bit of glitter on their face

I tested out this mascara for a review on my youtube channel, to do a new First Impression (see video below). Because this mascara promised thick, full lashes with false lash effect, I decided to compare this to my Holy Grail Covergirl The Supersizer Mascara. I love the Covergirl mascara because it gives me lashes that I wish I had - thick, long and separated - and it's super affordable! I used this mascara for the whole day (over 10 hours) so I could see how this mascara held up, and I feel like I have mixed feeling about this. This product is a bit controversial, as I've seen so many reviews where someone either loves it or hates it! I know that I'd probably be on either end of the spectrum, which made me more excited to test it out and give my overall opinion. I like the way that this mascara makes my lashes look - thick and full with a false lash effect. During the 10 hours of wear, it didn't smudge or break off, and my lashes held their curl. Saying this, I had to use 3 coats of this for my lashes to actually look any good! With all mascaras, I don't do 3 coats as the most I do is 2. After 3 coats, the mascara can start to make he lashes look clumpy and spidery, and it just doesn't look that good at all. With this, it really didn't look clumpy, and it did almost the same as what it showed on the packaging - beautiful full lashes. I would have liked it to give me title more volume - as I usually get more volume from my $5 Covergirl mascara, but it did look nice during the day. I found the wand to be way too big! I couldn't really do my bottoms lashes with the wand because of how big it is, and it just ends up getting messy! If I was to use this everyday, I'd probably; end to use a different mascara for th lower lashes. Would I spend £19//$23 on this mascara? I don't think I would. I think because I know that my Holy Grail mascara gives me the same amount of volume, separates my lashes more and is super affordable, I think I actually prefer that one - plus, it's a quarter of the price, so you wouldn't be breaking the bank by repurchasing it! Also, as you need to use 3 coats of this to give you the effect it promises, I don't think the bottle would last that long, as you need to use a lot of iron each lash. I've been testing this mascara out for the past week to see if In can make up my mind, and I do really like it, but I'm still not sure if I prefer my Covergirl mascara over this. Pros:Holds the curl all day.Makes my lashes super log, full and thick. Doesn't clump.Doesn't flake. Good formula - not too dry or too wet. Nice packaging. Cons:You need to use a lot of the product to get the look promised - 3 coats. Very expensive. Wand is too big. Very messy on the bottom lashes. Won't last very long, as you have to use a lot of the product. I like these! The packaging is so luxe...I bought Sex on the Peach which is a dead ringer for CT Very Victoria, which I own, also. TF is a bit creamier. I also purchased Makeup Me Happy which is an in your face hot pink. The formula is a bit drier, and I will love this more in summer. I suggest you try to swatch these in store...the swatches on Sephora’s website are not very accurate. I took one star off because some colors are more drying than others. I would repurchase, though I would choose my color options more carefully...

I've been testing this out for awhile now and have a few thoughts. The positive--great coverage level, it's advertised as medium to full coverage which I agree with. Does a great job of providing coverage that looks natural and not cakey at all. Lots of shades, I like the pump packaging and frosted glass bottle. I think it really does a great job of blurring pores and making them less noticeable which I can't say for many foundations. Great application overall. Negatives--this became extremely oily on me after a short period of time. The fountain separates and looks obvious after that point. Doesn't hold up well after blotting the oil off and even after blotting and repowdering it was greasy again after a short period of time. Might be good to wear if only going out for a few hours. I'm going to play with it more to see if it behaves better with some foundations I have that are TOO matte and see if they can balance each other out. Don't recommend for those of us with oily complexions because it won't hold up.

I've watched many youtube reviews about this palette before purchasing it, and more than half of the makeup youtubers said that this palette is horrible, unblendable, and turns into powder too easily. Well, as a user of this palette, I would say that it is true that this palette is slightly unblendable and does turn into powder pretty easily, BUT it is NOT a horrible palette. For this palette, you will have to build up the colour slowly, instead of just throwing the entire eyeshadow pan onto your eyelid and blending it as it is when it's on the eyelid. I hope this is making sense to you guys ahhaha. So what I was trying to say is that, this palette is still workable! And moving on to the 'powdery-ness' of the palette... well, as long as you don't jab your makeup brush into the pan vigorously, it'll be fine.So what I'm really trying to say is, the Just Peachy Mattes palette isn't thaaaat horrible, and in fact I wouldn't mind repurchasing it again! The colours are really gorgeous, ranging from a daily muted look to a smokey peachy look. I liveeeee for these colour combinations.

Have no idea why this palette is getting so much hate.. Until you have it in your hands and are creating looks, as opposed to just seeing it in store or online, you have no idea how amazing it really is.. The richness, pigmentation, and buttery feel of these shades are a big wow.. I hear people saying these shades aren't unique. How many twists and tweaks can be made on a purple, gold, rose gold, bronze, silver, taupe, a wearable black etc, that make it a uniquely different shade? Lol... This palette is fabulous..There is a great mix of green, several bronze and golds, fuschia, and several matte shades that take this palette from everyday wearable, to a night out palette .. I've purchased tons of palettes this year from Tarte, KVD, UD, MAC, Colour pop, etc, and this is one of my fav purchases this year.. Definitely recommend.

It's not even better than Maybelline. Seems to come out with little lumps that have to be carefully brushed out. I'll stick to Full & Soft..

In the quest to find an amazing all round foundation I had high hopes for this foundation...and I’m not disappointed! It looks beautiful!
I went with the colour Golden Beige and even though this may be a little dark for the cold UK weather in November, it is certainly not so far off that I can’t wear it.
Pros for me are:
- Fantastic coverage without looking cakey or ‘mask like’.
- Doesn’t settle into fine lines and pores, given that I am now coming to the end of my thirties, it is becoming harder and harder to find a foundation that is not targeted for ‘mature skin’ (I’m not quite there yet!), however I’m not young enough to go down that whole ‘let’s bake’ route! Those days are now gone!
- Gives a better airbrushed look with a beauty blender, than a foundation brush.
- Doesn’t break me out.
- Doesn’t dry my skin out.
- Gives long lasting coverage.
I would def recommend!

The new Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eye Shadow Palette is a beautiful palette full of metallic finishes in a variety of colors. I really like that this palette has several colors that you could use to create a more subtle look as well as some really bold colors that you can make a more evening look with. The colors smell amazing and are all very buildable, blendable and pigmented. My more detailed review and swatches can be seen here:
