Treatments (Eye) -Peter Thomas Roth -Mega Rich Intensive Anti-Aging Cellular Eye Creme

Eye cream in a pot why???? It's not 1956!! A tube would be great!! I wash my hands before applying but still I hate the idea of bacteria building up in there and have it go near my eyes...yuck! The cream is nice and moisturizing. I use it on top of the Volufill eye and unwrinkle eye swiped directly on fine inner eye creases. It kinda seals it all in and moisturizes everything nicely. It does nothing for dark circles or hollowness or anything more than moisturizing. Dollar Tree has a moisturizer in a tube that works just as well and is a dollar. I don't know that it's worth the cost but it seems to moisturize alright and not irritate my eyes so that's a plus. It's a nice compliment to other PTR treatments but it's not outstanding. Bobbi Brown has a super rich eye cream that moisturizes better. I like though that I can layer this and it works with the other PTR stuff to make my eyes look nice.

I like it but not in love with it. I use it morning and night sometimes, sometimes at night only--just depends. I think I was expecting moisture but instead it gently sucks ur pores smaller and refines lines and texture. It seems kinda odd cuz I expected a moisturizing plumping thing but it does the opposite, gently tho. It def works. At night I cleanse with the rose cleanser and Clarisonic then let this sit while I shower or watch tv. Then I rinse it off with cool water. My pores always look much smaller, less dilated and gross..my skin overall looks more refined but not tight or dry. I really like it and will keep buying it. You don't need a ton so a jar will last a fairly long time. Again packaging is an issue. There's got to be a better way than a tub...seems so unsanitary. I use a round makeup sponge to scoop and apply cuz fingers in the pot scream unsanitary to me no matter how clean they are. A nice tube or a pump would be great. Still, good product that works surprisingly well without overdrying.

Toners -Peter Thomas Roth -Un-Wrinkle Turbo Line Smoothing Toning Lotion

Wow is this costly! A toner shouldn't ever cost this much--ever. But, that being said, I do quite like it and will continue to buy it. I put a few drops into the palm of my hand and gently pat it on. I know toners are swept on with a cotton ball but this is more like treatment than toner--so I use it like a pre-product skin balancing treatment. My skin likes it now. I was never happy or successful using anything PTR if I rubbed or applied it with any kind of pressure...I'd constantly be red or break out...gently patting the products seems to be key for sensitive skin. This stuff is full of good ingredients and preps skin for the treat/moisturizing stuff. There's glycolic in it so it works to exfoliate and all that stuff, before you've even applied that actual treatments. It would be cool if it was cheaper and in a big spray bottle like the aloe mist. I wonder how dewy it would make your makeup during the day. But just using it as a prep for skincare works too, despite the price. Nice product, works well but for the cost it should have better packaging.

Noticeably reduced my pore size and, with weekly use, keeps my hormonal acne at bay. One jar lasts me about a year.

I agree the price is scary and the results aren't breathtaking. But if used just on fine lines around the eye, along with a moisturizer, it works great! In the am, I use a fine brush to apply to those inner corner creases then apply my usual eye cream. My makeup goes on smoothly and the lines seem to vanish. At night, I use the same technique and dab some Volufill over the while under eye area and then a moisturizer over top. It seems like a lot but I use very little product. It definitely works well that way even with a cheapo eye cream over top. I really love this stuff and will keep buying, but I don't recommend it as your only eye product--def get a good moisturizing eye cream even a cheap one because even though this is good for wrinkles it's not real moisturizing. Guess everything is a trade off?.....

Skincare - Face -Peter Thomas Roth -Un-Wrinkle Turbo Face Serum

I love this! It's great for fine lines. I pat...rubbing is bad and causes breakouts while using this or the Volufill...I learned the hard way--pat gently and let absorb. I use tiny amounts only on the fine lines I get around the mouth, forehead, and even under the eyes. It definitely makes a difference. Don't slather it on your whole face--it's wasteful and doesn't work trust me...just dot on your problem areas and pat. One bottle lasts a long time if you just do little pumps--more is not better. The price is kinda a lot scary but people have commented on my glow and overall how my complexion is not knowing I'm using this and Volufill. Def gonna keep using!!

Cleansers -Peter Thomas Roth -Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Cleansing Gel

I really like using this at night before my glycolic and retinols. I feel like it cleans nicely without over drying. I also like alternating between this and Burts Bees brightening cleanser. BB's brightens and moisturizes but over a couple days leaves gunk in my pores, so I switch back to PTR and my Clarisonic. I love how nice and clean it makes my skin feel and spritz on one of PTR toner sprays after, like the aloe one. My skin feels amaze! I love everything about this product. I only took off a lippie because it's kinda pricey for something you wash down the drain and the bottle is pretty bland...like a pump would be great! Def gonna keep buying this and all the rose line from PTR!

Lip Treatments -Peter Thomas Roth -Lips to Die For

I have the one in a pot...it came with a PTR set. I honestly can't think of a nice thing to say. I hate having to dig into a pot for balm...that's so 1950's. Even a tube would be nice or include a lip brush. But regardless of how you put it on, this stuff is like tingly paste. My lips look worse using it. Immediately the lines and dryness are a million times more noticeable. Yea there a little tingly thing like it's gonna plump but nothing ever happens. Your lips look a little shiny, like luminous not glittery or glossy, but it is so thick and paste-like, all it does is make your lips look more dry and lined. One use makes my lips go from looking good to looking like crepe paper. I'll try different application techniques and edit my review in the future but frankly I'm not expecting good results at this point. I have WAY better results rubbing a drop of the Volufill liquid on my lips and then sealing it with a dab of Aquapor. In all honesty I think this balm is the worst I've ever used...I've had better stuff from the Dollar Tree.

In a nutshell, you can dupe this with aloe gel from any store and have pretty much the same thing. I like that it's soothing, and it takes the redness out of skin. It's nice chilled...feels very soothing. But if you find a plain old aloe gel, you're set.
I'm sure there's anti aging stuff in there, and I really do like it because it works to make my skin feel and look good but I don't know that it has enuff expensive stuff in it to justify the crazy price.

BB Cream -Peter Thomas Roth -CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Complexion Corrector

foto

I got a couple of sample packets from all the PTR stuff I've been buying. Not impressed...
The color is very dark on fair skin, and an unflattering hue...kinda red orange.
It sparkles, so pores look like craters. And it's just generally a nuisance product...doesn't do anything but add to your routine.
The only positive I can say is after you wash off your makeup, your skin does look firmer, lifted and generally nicer...but the color makes it not worth the trouble.
I would never buy this and the samples I have left are getting tossed.
Not a winner.

This is just not all that. No pore minimizing effect, kind of too glowy and light/medium, the lightest shade is way too dark for my NC25 skin. Was very unflattering and made me look older. Will return..

I'm very unsure of this product. I think it's too strong for my eyes (I wear contact lenses) and causes redness and irritaion. My eyes get all watery from it. But I still thinks it gives some results on the skin, and I really feel the eye area tightening. I wish I could use it, but as for now, it only collects dust in my bathroom.

Toners -Peter Thomas Roth -Glycolic Acid 10 Toning Complex

I liked this toner very much. It has a high amount of glycolic acid and it is formulated at the correct pH to induce some exfoliation. It gets high marks for improving the texture of my skin. My skin became smother and less bumpy with use. It also lasted a very long time (several months in fact). I am unhappy with the amount of alcohol in this toner and I wish it had done a better job on my hyperpigmentation. I did see some improvement but I was hoping for stronger results. Overall, I would repurchase this product but currently I am on the look out for stronger alternatives.

Cleansers -Peter Thomas Roth -Moisture Infusion Facial Bar

One reviewer described this soap as "old school." Being that the main ingredient is sodium tallowate, that is a very accurate statement. This soap has a lovely scent and does cleanse very nicely. Basically, a good product with a reasonable price point.
