It took a little while to get this to work for me. I tried it at first without a moisturiser underneath using a brush, my fingers and a make-up sponge, but it always seemed to be too thick and settled in my lines. The solution, at least for me, is to apply my usual moisturiser, wait a couple of minutes, then apply a very small amount (less than half a pump) of the cc cream (I use the IT Cosmetics luxe brush). A little goes a long way! It's expensive, but a tube should last a long time. You can adjust the coverage by applying more or less. It doesn't seem greasy and doesn't dry my skin out. I also like that it has SPF 50. I'm really happy with this product and will continue to use it.EDIT: I've also experimented with applying primer underneath, and that works as well.

Had a sample size, wore it today at the pool in Austin TX heat and it caused clogging and acne around my nose and forehead. Tossing into garbage...I use Smashbox BB Water and it's amazing. I have very reactive skin that gets clogged easily and the BB Water is amazing. :)

It Cosmetics are hit or miss with me. I would call this Celebration Foundation a miss. :-(The packaging is great, the color is great (medium), and the powder picks up easily on my powder brush. I don't think it is a bad product overall, I just think it is not compatible with my skin type. I use this as a finishing powder over my MAC Studiofix Fluid foundation, and it seems to magnify my pores. I have oily skin, and I am in my fifties; so my pores are visible and I also have some fine lines on my upper cheek bones. I can't use powder alone for coverage, not even powder foundations. I have been through enough brands (e.g. MAC, Bare Minerals, Laura Mercier, IT Cosmetics, etc.) to know that they just don't provide enough coverage for my rosacea, unless I pack them on- but then I look like a corpse. But I have been able to use some of the brands I mentioned as a finishing powder and they have worked quite well. Sadly, not this Celebration Foundation (CF). No matter what primer I use underneath, this CF seems to "wake up" my pores upon application. It's really weird, because I have never had this happen with a powder before! I prime my skin and apply liquid foundation, and my face looks smooth and poreless! I just want to top it off with a little powder to keep the oilies away longer, but as soon as I buff CF on... THERE GO MY PORES! Ugh! I can't explain that one, folks, but that is *exactly* what happens! I have used this many times and in many different ways, and it just doesn't work for me. IT Cosmetics powder blushes and bronzers are among the best I have ever tried! But unfortunately, their powder foundations are a "no go" for me.

I really enjoyed this product when I was into more dewy skin looks. It is incredibly hydrating and non-irritating on my sensitive skin and dry skin, and I think it's in part due to the second listed ingredient: snail filtrate! I got the shade medium for my light olive skin, and it was way too dark. The only reason it blended out and looked okay was because of the undertones of this CC cream. These have a very grey/olive undertone, whilst most foundations are too peachy on me. The coverage on this is so fantastic, I can get medium-full coverage with two pumps all over my face. An issue I had with this "illuminating" version was the sparkles scattered throughout it. This CC cream was illuminating enough without the sparkles, so they seem very pointless and ruin the smooth finish of this a bit. Another thing was that this never really completely sets to a budge-proof finish, even after adding powder on top, and I would notice it breaking up around my nose and chin after a few hours.

The medium shade had an orange tint. It went on heavy and wet feeling and stayed shiny. I had to top with powder which made it feel even heavier. All that wet, powder, heavy mess and it didn't cover my redness around my nose, my Sunspots, or my dark circles. I sent it back to QVC. I was willing to look over the odd scent if it worked, but it didn't. To top it off I broke out under my eyes and by my chin.

My skin is fairly normal though it tends to get kind of oily in the summer. This foundation feels so weightless on my skin, and it does a good job evening out my skin tone. I do wish there was a shade between Fair and Light, but the Light does fine in the summer. I'm not used to paying so much for makeup ($38 at Ulta) but I don't mind this being my one splurge. I may have to start asking for gift cards for birthday and Christmas!

I have this powder foundation in Medium and Tan. And I have back ups. :-) I have owned every foundation you can think of. Never did I imagine a powder would be my holy grail foundation. I have yet to find a powder foundation that does what this does for my skin. I have hyper pigmentation (it covers), I have freckles, (it covers).. It takes me 7 minutes to get ready in the morning or anywhere for that matter... It gives you a beautiful glow with great coverage. I own La Prairie, Cle De Peau... Nothing, I mean nothing compares to this... Also, I use Real Techniques (large) powder brush to blend it in to my face... It's so quick and effortless! Just an outstanding product!!!

This product is really good on my skin. I have a 4ml trial size and Im waiting for the sale to get a full size. I myself have an unstable skin - it is oily like crazy and also has dry patches but this CC doesnt make my skin look cakey or emphasizes my dry areas. It helps blur my enormous pore, it is really lightweight and easy to blend. However it doesnt control my oiliness but I can fix this with a translucent powder. I think it is more suitable for fall-winter. Oh and it is also pricey but I really satisfied.

PREFACE: I HATE products with sunscreen....they almost ALWAYS cause me to break out. I have combo/dehydrated/oily on occasion/ acne prone when provoked skin and the one thing that WILL provoke it is sunscreen or products that contain sunscreen. I normally avoid them like the plague, but this one little product is getting along with my very bitchy skin at the moment....THE PRODUCT/COVERAGE: This is in the realm of what I consider "tinted moisturizers", which I am normally not a fan of, but want to be. I'm not a fan because, as mentioned above, I am clearly allergic to something in both chemical and physical forms of sunscreen...and allergic probably isn't the correct term...sensitive is more appropriate, I suppose. This super creamy formula has phenomenal coverage, simply put. I have to monitor myself on not using too much, because I'm so used to the traditional tinted moisturizer product requiring more to even out my skin tone, but not with this little gem. This is a thicker "cream" consistency that applies beautifully with a sponge or brush (I like using both) and the coverage leans on the side of medium to could be full for the type of product it is. ** I will mention that I have tried the "luminous" version of this product and despised it. I looked like I had just spent the day flipping burgers and running a fryer back in high school at BK...not flattering. The luminous version also broke me out.** I do set this with a powder (lightly) and I do use a concealer with it. It can be built up for more coverage and I have actually worn it on work days, which is something I never imagined doing with this type of product. If you use too much it WILL look cakey, that I can promise you. Using a lighter hand is best and building as needed works like a dream.SHADES: What I really love is that the shade range does not run too much on the pink side, which is what I desire in shade matching. My skin changes its mind daily on what undertone it's going to take on, I use the shade medium and it seems to balance my skin out nicely. It has a good range of shades, as well.OVERALL: I do enjoy this "tinted moisturize" product. I find myself reaching for it quite a bit during these hot summer days. I would probably repurchase it, especially since it contains sunscreen and doesn't cause my skin to go into fits. It has enough coverage for a night out OR a beach day (for the protection alone). Price isn't too steep, either. I would recommend getting the "travel" tube from Sephora (or wherever) to try it out first, as it is not a fit for everyone (and that's how I tried it out at a bit of a cheaper price)!

I am super pale (NW 10), yet I can't get these shadows to show up on me, even the dark ones. It's a shame because they are beautiful. They just lack pigment. They feel lovely. I usually have the opposite problem with shadows (looking too dark on me), but these are just ridiculous. Even applying with my fingers, they barely look like anything. I've not had any success with IT Cosmetics shadows.

This trio of shadows is a lovely combo of matte nude, matte pink, and matte lilac shades. I knew from looking at the palette the colors would be subtle on the eyes. Some reviews warned that the colors applied so lightly that they failed to even show up. I stupidly thought that wouldn't be a problem for me as I have super pale skin (NW 10), so I usually have the problem of shadows looking too dark on me. Wrong - I couldn't get these shadows to show up for me, either! The nude shade looked like I had nothing on, the pink shade barely highlighted, and the lilac shade (the darkest) only showed up when I applied with my fingers. I would send back if I hadn't passed the return window. The shadows do feel super soft, but who cares when the shadow doesn't show up? Just to add, I've not been impressed with any of the shadows from IT Cosmetics I've tried.

I absolutely love this product, it blends very well and the color matched my tanned summer skin ( TAN ) , it was a great cc cream to use for a quick everyday look in summer, not to mention it has an SPF of 50+ which is GREAT.

Using this brush feels like patting a newborn bunny onto your cheeks. Admittedly, I would've probably never purchased this brush on it's own but because it came in a QVC kit, I was stoked to try it out. It certainly lives up to all the hype I've heard surrounding it. It's very fluffy and soft. It picks up product so well, you barely have to tap your brush into the pan. And blending, you don't even need to TRY to blend, this brush does it for you. Go buy it.

I am over 59. Blonde straight hair, fair to light skin. Getting a lot of redness lately. I like most "IT" cosmetic products. Lately started to get a lot of redness on my checks, mostly. Decided to try this. "Bye Bye Redness." It is expensive but I try to us very little. It works well. Covers red cheeks as well as any other red parts on my face. Never got this before and don't know if it's allergy or other causing it. The cream covers all very well and my skin doesn't react. I have very sensitive skin, I find it quite drying though. But Ok when I wear it. Looks natural but not shiny, rather dull. It applies well and covers well. It's rather thick and very little goes a long way. Usually use my fingers and brush at the end of application. Ilike it but wish I hadn't gotten this redness problem so suddenly. I still don't know if it's a new "state' I'm in or an allergy to makeup in general. I have used Revlon New Complexion for years and loved it. Suddenly it seemed to give me this redness problem. Which caused me to try the IT product I am writing about. Revlon spread so much easier and felt so much lighter to wear. Less drying. Also much less expensive. Or Cover Girl in compact also. So it's either a change in formula or an allergic reaction suddenly. Age also could have caused a change in skin and this new problem. I still hope it will work itself out and this "redness thing" will subside and go away. I guess time will tell. I have had allergies in the past that after a time went away. I hope this will too. But I hear of many ladies who have suddenly developed this redness problem. It's not itchy. I now keep my cream simply to help it subside. I use Pond's Cold Cream which has never caused me a problem, and put the fancier stuff away. Asam Gold and Skinn, etc. Although they have never caused me a problem before. Pond's is the cream once suggested by a dermatologist seems to be the best when things really flare up. So, time will tell if this redness thing gets better or worse. Meanwhile I'll continue with the Pond's Cold Cream in the evening and day when not using IT. Hopes that helps someone else. Good Luck. Maybe it's just the pollution we are confronted with each day now?? :)

Not a bad powder to set a BB cream or liquid foundation. The price is SO STEEP for this product -- honestly, I have used other powders such as Rimmel (which is about $3-5) that does a similar job, but this powder does last a bit longer without having to touch up. If this was about $20, I might buy it again. Packaging is annoying as the product pan flips up to show a puff. I love the mirror though!
