EL Double Wear is the only foundation that works on my acne oily prone skin. I have been trying to embrace my imperfections and was looking for a lighter coverage foundation. The EL Double Wear Light does not match me in the limited shade range, so I had high hopes for this foundation. It is horrible, it bunched up on dry patches did nothing to cover discoloration and barely lasted 3 hours. Even when I spot concealed this foundation did not work. Transfers off the skin very easily and without a pump is even harder to pour out since it is so watery.

I'll edit this when/if I get a chance to actually sample it. I just wanted to add that yes, the ingredients of this formula are practically identical to the Mac Waterweight foundation and Smashbox Water BB. Estee Lauder owns both brands. So just to be clear releasing it as part of the "Double Wear"-line was a pure marketing thing, not a longevity thing.(Here is a good source for the ingredients list https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=90b10172-4338-4672-901c-cb979f986442)Some comparisons: Mac is significantly cheaper than the other 2. Estee Lauder's you get to pour from a glass bottle, Mac's has a glass dropper. Smashbox is in a tube. Smashbox is considered cruelty free by some (it's a bit complicated), the other brands are def not.

I get hopeful when the big brands bring out new foundations. So when I saw that EL brought this out, I went to get my sample. I am NC20-25, so I got Dawn. Somebody said that it is virtually identical to Mac Waterweight foundation. However, I found that it does nothing to cover my discolorations - brown spots, redness - in fact there was very little difference before and after I put it on, except that it stained everything my face touched: tissue, glasses nose pads, fingers, you name it. If I compare it to Mac, the Mac Waterweight is just as light in texture and quite moisturizing, however it does a good job of evening out my complexion. And it is much cheaper (for the same amount), has a dropper, whereas the DW Nude does not have a pump, although I believe you can buy one. EL should incorporate the pump, but then they make more money by not doing so. This new foundation is only for dry skin with an even tone, and the good thing about it is the vast range of colors (33 in the UK!), so you are bound to find your match. Combination and oily skins, abstain, you will regret it.

This has been my favorite foundation for 2 years. I always get compliments on my complexion when i wear it. Blurs out imperfections and fine lines. I apply it with a damp beauty blender and always use a makeup setting spray. A must have!

Had been looking for the perfect light weight natural-looking foundation. This is it!!! Colors do run a bit light, I wore Dawn normally but went for Tawny is this one. I loved the original DW when I was having skin issues and needed coverage, but after my skin cleared up it was a bit too much coverage for my liking. THIS on the other hand is perfect! Such a pretty light dewy finish that looks like skin! If you're looking for a lot of coverage this may not be for you, but if you want something to even out your skin and make you look healthy and glowy, this is the one! My skin is pretty combination, and very sensitive and this didn't irritate me or break me out at all. For me, it lasts all day on the skin I just need to blot here & there but that isn't an issue for me. Just finished my sample and can't wait to purchase a bottle. New favorite foundation for sure!

I recently took the plunge and bought this product after getting colour matched. I matched to 1C0 Shell and it's the perfect match for my skin. I couldn't be happier. I suffer with rosacea which varies from mild to severe depending on a flare up. This covers it perfectly! I use a beauty blender and I've finally mastered how much I usually need. Unfortunately the lack of a pump is annoying as it can be difficult to determine how much is coming out at once but you get a knack for it after a while. 100% never going back to any of my old foundations! I've found my HG!

I am so happy to finally have found a pencil that stays-put on my oily asian eyes. I generally prefer a more natural smoky eye. This pencil is perfect for that because the eyeliner glides over my lash line with precision effortlessly, and the blender tip is perfect for controlled blending. My lower lid may get a bit of smudging during the day (which is a quick clean-up and happens with any type of eye makeup I use) but overall my makeup lasts through crazy hot/humid weather and intense dripping-sweat type workouts.

I guess I've come to terms with my age and lack of sleep - the dark circles under my eyes are not going away. I've tried a few different concealers and this product is my favourite for natural and build-able coverage that doesn't cause dryness nor emphasize lines. A little goes a long way so despite the price this product will last a long time.

I absolutely love this product! I purchased the new formula Estee Lauder Double Wear Medium Coverage in Ivory Beige and it holds up all day. I purchased this product years ago and it was too heavy which resulted in excess oil and pimples by the end of the day. The new formula has changed my life! I have oily skin and I find it stays in place all day while still maintaining that matte look while I am at work. Doesn't oxidize like my MAC foundation did which was an added bonus. I also found it held up great in photo's despite having SPF in it. The only negative is that it is difficult to get out of the bottle as Estee Lauder don't sell a pump with it. The solution is to purchase the MAC pump which they sell for their own foundation and use it on this bottle. It fits perfectly and comes out effortlessly. Most Estee Lauder representatives from Myer will give you a sample to take away with you after colour matching you so your able to trial it before buying.

This mascara helps a lot with volume and my lashes stay curled from the A.M to the P.M it is hard to remove so I can wear it underwater even though it ls not waterproof. If you are looking for a good quality mascara I would highly recommend this one

I have worn Double Wear light for years and found it to be the longest lasting foundation I've tried. I often mix it with a few drops of Argan oil for a dewier look. So when I heard about the Nude version I thought it sounded just the thing I was looking for and would maybe mean I didn't need to bother with the oil.Got a very generous sample from the EL counter. Enough to last 4 days so I was able to give it a good try. I have combination skin which is on the dry side but with a bit of oiliness on the nose. I used this with Urban Decay primer and set it with Estee Lauder loose powder. It looked really beautiful, light and dewy when applied, so just what I'd hoped for. The weather where I am is warm and sunny (around mid 20's) at the moment which tends to bring out any oiliness I have around my nose.I was not as impressed with the Nude's staying power compared with Doublewear light. Within a few hours it had transferred onto my glasses frames, my phone and came off where the nose pads of my glasses had rested. This doesn't happen with the Light version. It didn't look anywhere as good as the Light by lunchtime. The liquid is very thin but is buildable. I will stay with DWL as this didn't persuade me to change. The other downside compared with the Light, is the glass bottle which isn't very hygienic and means you are best buying the pump that EL sell. This cost £5.
