This product is gentle because it doesn’t work at all.Not only does it boast about benefits that don’t last like the vitamin c which becomes unstable as soon as you open it and null/void of benefit due to the air, but the retinol becomes unstable over time and exposure to air and light and even some of the other ingredients. This did nothing for me and I will stay away from retinol and retinoids that are in squalane or serum based because they don’t work. Paula’s choice retinol worked in two days, dermilogica has a great one too. Splurge on one of those. I was fooled into thinking it would be decent due to the high amount but this does nothing. Your cells are meant to turn over so you should have some shedding and peeling and there’s nothing. No turn over and no results. What a sham. It’s more than less an expensive dry oil. Would neve rebuy!

Got this as a sample from Sephora. It irritated my skin so bad that I have had a rash on my neck for 2 weeks now. It made my face extremely dry. I quit using this once I noticed the bumps and they still won't go away. I have never had this problem with any other facial cleanser. I will never buy or recommend this product to anyone.

I thought this was going to be a winner for me but it is too heavy, sticky and shiny for under makeup. It takes forever for it to dry down and it does not work well with foundations. I tried it with several foundations I had and it sheered/ate them all out to nothing while usually I can get medium coverage. The tint to it was perfect for NC20-30 skin tone for summer but if you're super porcelain it could be too dark. It was non-irritating so I would have to reserve this for winter but why bother? I already have better sunscreens like Biore, Paula's Choice and Murad that all work well with makeup so I won't be keeping this.

One of my fave PTR products. I would use this just once every evening and rinse after 1 minute. It did tingle but not in a bad way and always left my pores looking smaller along with a overall glow to my skin (this was always more noticeable on my face compared to hands etc). I like a fair number of the PTR formulations, this one especially as it contains a lot of different antioxidants and more so because it gives me visible results each time I use it!Selena x~ My HG list ~(I've sampled 100s of skin, hair and m/u products over the last decade and a half, as I'm constantly trying out new stuff all the time - usually sample/trial sizes from e-bay, also plenty courtesy of a friend who works at Sephora. From an ingredients perspective this looked like a good investment: papaya and pineapple which are renewing, plus some brightening ingredients such as lemon, however in reality I'm not sure it did anything at all. To really give masks a chance to work, I tend to use on consecutive days and allow the effect to build up, although by the end of the week I could not notice any discernable difference compared to day 1. No brightening, not much difference in hydration and skin condition. It's exceptionally rare for me to try a mask that does nothing at all...looks like I may have just found one! Bought the trial size and it lasted a few months. It didn't irritate my skin which is great but I didn't really see any great results from using it either. I need to see some benefits (beyond just okay) in order to keep using or buying a product so I will not repurchase this. I'd run out of my favorite face wash and had an Ulta coupon so I purchased this based on reviews.

I have no idea if this reduces or prevent signs of aging, but it sure feels nice to have them on under the eyes. You can wear the wider part at the inner corners of the eyes, as well as wear them at the outer corners of the eyes. I keep them on for at least 15 minutes, or until the serum has absorbed into my skin and/or the gel patch seems dryer to the touch. After removing them, my under eye area *feels* less congested/puffy, firmer, and soothed. They are on the bigger size, as another reviewer has said, and when i wear them at inner corners, they do go down to my cheek area; but when worn at outer corners, they nicely cover the area wear crows lines can form. I'd buy them again, but only when i can get a discount on them.

I was very excited to try out the new PETER THOMAS ROTH Skin to Die For™ Mineral-Matte CC Cream SPF 30 once it came out. I really like the Peter Thomas Roth Skin to Die For Primer and the Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Naked Sunscreen so I thought I would probably like the CC cream. I do like the Skin to Die For CC cream, but, with the right primer underneath. This isn't really a true matte finish- I would call it more of a radiant finish more than a matte finish, although this can depend on what product is immediately underneath it. I tried using this on top of various sunscreens and this did not like being applied over sunscreen and did not provide good coverage. Ultimately I found that this works best over a mattifying primer, and the PTR Skin to Die For Primer as well. A few more things to like about this CC cream is that it is fragrance free, contains some good antioxidants, provides SPF 30 protection, and provides medium coverage. Definitely Holy Grail!! I’ve tried SO many moisturizers and have had issues with my aging, acne prone skin. Not with this one. It smooths and softens and actually seems to keep it balanced so I don’t break out. Highly recommend!

Holy grail mask! The amazing yummy scent of pumpkin pie is so delicious I want to eat it. My skin is so soft and smooth and looks radiant after just leaving this on for 5-7 minutes. I can see the results right away after I've rinsed it off. It helps with the congestion I get in my pores and in lightening old acne marks. I use it once a week and it is worth every penny. I follow up with using a hydrating moisturizer.

I really like using many different ingredients to use for lightening my skin and also helping dull hyperpigmentation. The Peter Thomas Roth Potent C Targeted Spot Brightener uses a combination of vitamin c and ferulic acid to help lighten dark spots such as melasma and hyperpigmentation. You really will only want to apply this to specific areas because the formula is pretty strong and could cause a little bit of drying. I did notice some lightening on the spots I was using it on but after a couple weeks it seemed to reach the maximum amount of effectiveness, but it definitely helped. I do question a couple of their ingredient choices, but overall this is a well-rounded, fragrance-free, and well packaged product. Now I just wish PTR was cruelty free and a touch more affordable. The new PETER THOMAS ROTH Potent-C Power Eye Cream is a nice compliment to the brands new Potent C Power Serum. I have been using this during the day time before applying my sunscreen. The texture of this product is light enough that it absorbs quickly and works well under makeup and foundation. The ingredients (ferulic acid, vitamin c, vitamin e) that Peter Thomas Roth has included in the Potent C Power Eye Cream will definitely give your eye area protection from free radicals and help prevent aging. I noticed additional brightness and moisture in my eye area after using this for just a couple weeks. I love that it is fragrance free and packaged in a manner that will help protect the vitamin c from exposure to air. I do have two issues- it is pricey and that Peter Thomas Roth is not cruelty free. I bought this on sale during Ulta's days of beauty, so I do think it's worth that price tag. Would I pay full price for it again? Not sure. It actually does a pretty good job of removing dry skin and leaving smoother surface. The peeling thing may seem gimmicky but whatever is in it does seem to do the job pretty well. I think there are better exfoliators out there though.

The Peter Thomas Roth Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion SPF 30 is a sunscreen that is really made for those with dry to very dry skin. It is very moisturizing which is good for me in the winter time, but I could see how those with normal to oily skin will find this sunscreen way too emollient and leaving them with a greasy feeling. I have dry skin and even during the summer time when my skin is a little less dry this sunscreen can be too emollient. I do love that it is fragrance free. I've gotten several (probably six or seven) of the deluxe sample sizes through many different trial kits but would I splurge and purchase the full size? Probably not as I tend to prefer mineral sunscreens as opposed to chemical ones because I tend to have sensitive skin. I also tend to prefer a sunscreen with an SPF level higher than 30 because I tend to burn. I recently tried the Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Naked Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Sunscreen that recently came out and much prefer that sunscreen to this one for many reasons such as the mineral SPF, the higher SPF level, and the fact that it applies weightless and really works well under foundation without being greasy. I chose no as to whether I'd repurchase this, but I'd like like to clarify that as a "No, but ..."No, I wouldn't repurchase this at its current high price, but when I find a sale or if it's included in a packet of tempting minis, sure, I'll bite. No, it is not a miracle in tube, but when I do use it, my skin looks a bit brighter and smoother. In brief, this is a sort of gel, similar in feel to aloe. It has no real scent, and the directions say to rub it into clean, dry skin and as you rub it on your face it'll ball up and exfoliate some dead, dry skin, and when you rinse your face will look fresher. It also says you can leave it on a bit longer, 1 to 5 minutes, for a boosted peel/exfoliation.So, is it the greatest thing ever? No. But it is a nice product. I get some buildup and my skin feels and looks a bit dull and dry now and then, and a product like this is a nice way to quickly get rid of some of that old skin. It's pretty mild -- my skin isn't exceptionally sensitive, except it doesn't react well to a lot of fragrances and chemical sunscreens tend to irritate my skin, too -- so this doesn't irritate me. It's basically a jacked-up scrub. I refuse to pay full price for it, but when Sephora or some other entity has a deal where I can get a mini as part of a package deal, or if I ever find it on sale, I'll buy it, sure. I'm in my 40s and sometimes I want to scrub off some of the blah, and this works to buff off some of the inevitable dullness that begins to creep in as the years accumulate.
