Here is a swatch of Nars Cosmetics Powermatte Lip Pigment in American Woman. This was a free deluxe sample. Pros: Nice true matte liquid lipstick with great pigmentationCons: Formula is a bit thin, so it can get on your teeth if you're not carefulOverall: 4.5* - I find this color very flattering on me. It's a dark nude shade that isn't too dramatic.

After years of looking for the perfect tinted moisturizer I finally found it. I have dry to combination skin and this tinted moisturizer makes my skin have a natural glow without looking oily. It has a creamy texture and it’s very light coverage. I dont like to wear foundation so this is perfect for evening out my skin and making it look healthy. I always keep a backup just in case.

Love the packaging. Hoped it would volumize, as promised, but very little of that happened. Tried it with and without primer. With primer, got very good length. It has a nice feel on lashes and didn't flake, but since what I really want in mascara is dramatic volume (without spider lashes or major clumping), this is going back.

This balm is very nice, I like the shade as well as the satin texture it has. It's a nice natural balm for those days I want moisture on my lips but also want a small tint and shimmer. Doesn't have much of a smell and I love the packaging! It's just so chic and classy.

Nars Dragon Girl is a gorgeous bright strawberry coloured lipstick. The red has slightly pink undertones, bringing it it to the cooler side of the spectrum, but it doesn’t look overly pink on the lips - this is definitely a red lipstick. The Velvet Matte formula is creamy and easy to apply and is non-drying despite the matte finish. It wears well, though does have some slight transfer. I find this lipstick lasts all day, even through eating and drinking. It leaves a stain on the lips when it eventually starts to fade. It doesn’t feather or bleed. The pencil needs to be sharpened (I just use the Nars sharpener). The tip is the perfect shape to get a precise application, and I like that it isn’t overly skinny. This way I can apply it quickly and easily! This is my go-to red, I absolutely love it. Dragon Girl is a Nars cult favourite and I absolutely recommend it to everyone!

This particular lipstick was an impulse buy, but I certainly don't regret it. Granted, I do have a couple of pinks - ranging from soft to loud - but this one is I reach for more than any of them. This one is a tad bit more emollient than other lipsticks offered by NARS, but it still veers slightly to the dry side so it's a good idea to prime - and moisturize the lips - prior to application. I know it's trendy to go sans liner right now, but I would personally lightly define the lips beforehand just to ensure that the lips are defined and the lines are crisp. It looks a little more polished. Personally, I haven't had too much of a problem with the color bleeding or feathering, but like all regular lipsticks, it's necessary to touch up if you're planning on chowing down, smooching, etc. As far as the shade goes, I would say that it's best described as a bubblegum pink. As a matter of fact, it reminds me of the BubbleYum packets of gum that I used to reach for as a kid. It's very richly pigmented though, so with one or two swipes, you have full opacity. This is one of the two pinks that I recommend if you're looking for a bright, Barbie pink to your collection.

Pros: Beautiful color. Cons: The color is bright and may not be for everyoneOverall: 4.5* - it’s a good gloss if you like the color. Nothing stands out about the formula of the gloss, but I have no complaints either

The BEST liquid lipsticks on the market (I said what I said!). Sephora describes the product as an "innovative, weightless, matte liquid lip pigment with ultra-flexible, lasting wear." It's interesting that they don't call it a "liquid lipstick" and instead a "liquid lip pigment." This description is heightened by its super watery texture; the directions even state that you should shake the product before applying it. The applicator is thin, stiff and does not bend, and it deposits the perfect amount of product in one go; the pointed tip is really useful when applying the product to the corners of your mouth and your cupids bow. The consistency will be very wet for a few minutes, and then dry down and also lighten a bit to a perfect matte finish. Once applied, the product lasts forever, leaving behind an even stain. Because it is such a watery, thin texture, reapplication is also really easy, as you don't have to worry about the product cracking or crumbling. My sister bought me Slow Ride, which is described as a "soft pink brown" and I got Rock With You, which is described as a "deep mulberry," with a gift card (these are $26, so not the cheapest!). On my more pigmented lips, Slow Ride is a neutral peachy-brown and Rock with you is a blackened plum. Did I get Rock With you for the color, or for the shoutout to one of the best songs of all time? You decide.

The best. Always looks natural. First one lasted years and years, and after spending quite some time looking - as in years...I am returning to this.

This palette is absolutely gorgeous. They hit the packaging out of the park. Athough, the 3 shades inside are classics that a LOT of makeup lovers will already have. The quality is there. Included are: Orgasm blush, Laguna Bronzer and Orgasm Highlighting Blush Powder. All three powders are super smooth and blend nicely. LE holiday palettes can have inconsistent quality but I was surprised how much I enjoyed these! Not sure if NARS reformulated along with changing up their packaging recently but, this Orgasm blush pan seems to "pick up" with my brush easier than the mini freebie I had before. Orgasm Highlight was the only new shade to me. It buffed in nicely and didn't exaggerate my pores. I would assume by the name this could also be used as a blush topper too. The shade reminds me of a long d/c MAC MSF in Porcelain Pink.I believe the palette is $42... which is pretty reasonable for NARS. (Even more reasonable during a sale.) I wish they would either make this permanent or release this annually because I love having these 3 shades together vs a million little compacts. I would absolutely repurchase this if they release it again.

The effect:- This foundation is definitely a staple item for me! It has a very light liquid formula that enables a smooth application to the skin.- It doesn't oxidize and appears neither flaky nor powdery. It's definitely a must-have for the drier/dry-patchy (combination) skin types!- The coverage is medium and buildable. I can fluctuate between 1 to 3 drops depending on factors like the condition of my skin or whether I'm doing a day/night look. - I think I get what they mean by the 'luminosity' factor because I do see an added glow to my skin (although this could very well be helped by my skin routine!)Application:- I've tested finger and beauty-blender techniques with this foundation, and found that both work equally well! - I recommend that you disperse it first with your fingers and then even out + build-up with the sponge. That's what works best for me!Skin-tone and type (personally):- I can actually pull off both Gobi and Deauville shades, as my skin is fair to light with undertones that are neutral slighting towards yellow (Usually opt for Deauville in the summer and Gobi in the winter). - Best for dry/dry-patchy combination skin.- Might be more suited to younger skin types because I've found that without a good primer it can sometimes settle into lines that I never knew I had!

Bought this because everyone on youtube loved this. The packaging is amazing, and yes it does make your eyelashes look great. However, this mascara gives me the worst raccoon eyes, and the flakes! I have never experienced this with ANY mascara. It truly is a shame because it makes my lashes look amazing. I would return it if I had kept the packaging.

I use this as my daily spot concealer and undereye concealer. As a spot concealer, it does the job perfectly. It covers well, blends right into my skin and lasts for forever. It doesn't emphasise the texture of the spot, and makes me look flawless when I cover spots that my light coverage foundation misses. However, as an undereye concealer it's a completely different story. It doesn't last for more than 4 hours, it barely covers my dark circles, and it tends to look streaky. The best way to apply this under the eyes is with a beauty blender, but it's difficult getting the blender into the concealer. Despite the negatives, it still brightens up my undereyes, only creases a little bit if I don't set it, and is easy to apply with a finger.

This is for very young, healthy and preferably tanned skin I think, if any of that is you, then it will probably look beautifully reflective, girly and fun. For me it's a pass: the amount of gold reflective shimmer set in a candy pink/orange is not at all flattering and I feel faintly ridiculous on me.

I could wax poetic about this lippie, that's how much I love it. But for the sake of this review I'll stick to the facts. This is hands down the best liquid lipstick in the entire world! I have it in the shade Walk This Way, a pinky-peach nude that flatters my cool complexion so well. I'm going to buy many more shades, even if they are $26usd...
First off, the formula is super thin, a true liquid, so it never feels plasticky like other LL. It does take a bit for it to dry down, but after that it's good to go. It is not transfer proof, it does wear away after a few hours, but because the formula is so thin, I can layer over it without it caking up, peeling, or making my lips look like a crusty butthole. It doesn't dry my lips out either, which I love, because I suffer from constantly dry lips. The applicator is EVERYTHING! I usually have to line my lips before applying a LL just to keep it from being a sloppy mess, but not with this one. The applicator makes it so easy to cleanly outline my lips. Nars did not come to play with this lippie! Love it and highly recommend it
