Foundations -L'Oreal - Visible Lift Blur Foundation

The foundation doesn't work. I've tried it many times. I have oily skin but this somehow still manages to cling to all my dry spots and look ridiculous on me. The concealer however, is fantastic. I actually use that as a full coverage foundation. It blends into the skin like a dream. This foundation however.. I'd pass on it.

Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Revitalift Miracle Blur

PROS: Definitely blurs pores and fine lines; includes sunscreen, if you don't already use one; packaging works well; doesn't cause breakouts, and I get them with many products

CONS: This stings my skin :( I suspect the chemical sunscreens; a bit pricey for my budget

I apply this occasionally before special events since it stings--but it definitely works; it's not terribly painful but enough to decrease usage.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

It's a solid foundation with a solid choice of shades. Very groundbreaking addressing undertones in a drugstore market. It's light to medium, natural looking coverage. It looks like skin. The bottle is GROSS, though. I hate pouring foundation onto my fingers without a pump.

K so, I should have known. Most foundations that are raved about, I usually end up hating. This is one. I tried it the first time a few years ago and thought I had my perfect shade, but instead of it just being too dark...i looked green. G R E E N. How does that even happen? I chalked it up to a bad color match and gave it to my mom because she’s not picky. I tried it again this summer and thought I finally had the right color, but it was a smidge too light but I figured I could make it work with bronzer. Color aside, it’s a no. It felt super thick and it sank into my laugh line. All around, I just don’t get the hype. I definitely am done trying to make this one work.

I initially bought this when I had a pixie. I've since grown my hair to a shoulder length lob of very fine but thick hair. I still reach for this on the days that I dry my hair. I like that it helps to hold some volume but isn't too stiff or sticky. I'll most likely repurchase.

Masks -L'Oreal - Purify & Mattify Pure-Clay Mask

This has way too much fragrance to actually be good for your skin in the long run. And it literally had 8 - 10 uses in one small tub because it is so tiny of an amount for $10. It does mattifying and purify the skin and you can see the difference when rinsed off the skin but the fragrance is off putting to me so I will not be repurchasing this.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous Waterproof in Black

The formula gets dry and clumps on the wand after a few uses making application a little more difficult. Does not stay put. Even the waterproof formula rubs/flakes off. I look like Rocket the Raccoon by the end of the day.

Hair -L'Oreal - Feria Haircolor Hi-Lift Browns

This is absolutely phenomenal, and I'm not overstating. I've been to several salons seeking this color. Two colorists told me my hair wouldn't take that color well, due to the fact that my natural color is the darkest of dark browns. One colorist said she could attain that color on my hair, but it would take three return trips at $125 per session...not including the first trip. For over $400 I said "uhhh..NO thanks!"

Feria B-61 is *amazing*. That said, I'm seeing a lot of reviews for this product with hair that looks very red in hue...mine turned to a dark ash blonde (extremely close to the picture on the box). I have red and orange undertones in my hair...so I'm not sure what I did differently. That said, I hate red in my hair so I'm glad mine didn't do that.

I will definitely continue to get this product for as long as it's available. However...I *highly recommend* using Joico's new Blue Shampoo for dark hair in combination with this product...or any product you use to lighten your super-dark hair. Purple shampoo is **NOT** the way to go for dark brunettes...I learned that through trial and error, and there aren't many blue shampoos out there.

I'm still trying to figure out how and where to enter a picture, but will add one if I can figure it out.

...and I saved $395 to boot.

Edited to Add: Please do *not* write whiny complaints about this hair dye if you haven't even let your hair grow out from the last box-job you did. I'm reading a lot of complaint-reviews from people who *frequently* color their hair. It's fine to be a color-addict, but it's not okay to write diss-reviews on products, when they all clearly state that you shouldn't be using the product on hair that's been recently colored. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that *natural blue* and *natural yellow* make green. If you start throwing colors on your hair when it already has a color added...you'll end up with split pea soup; that's no product's fault - it's yours.

I love this mascara. It reminds me of Too Faced’s better than sex mascara. With two coats my lashes are dark and full and they don’t fall flat. It doesn’t smudge throughout the day and washes off so easy.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Liquid Foundation (All)

This is my - by far - my ride or die drugstore foundation. It stays in place and gives a matte flawless finish. I have combination skin with dry areas and some redness, sometimes a few pimples

I have worn this with and without primer (big no no, but I'm late sometimes) and both works but of course with is better.

I smear it on with my fingers and blend with a Beaty blender and then I set with a sheer transparent powder.

I uploaded a picture above after 9 hours work and it still looks good. Perfect shade and a wide range of shades. I wear golden ivory.

The only downside is the pump which gets a bit messy after a while.

Flakey flakey flakey. I put some on in the AM and had numerous flakes under my eyes and on my cheekbones a mere two hours later. This rarely happens to me with other mascaras.

I have used this foundation for years. The shade 145 Classic Ivory is a perfect match for my fair and very cool complexion. I love this fdn so much I wore it for my wedding in 2015. Wears well on its own but really works best with a primer, especially Hourglass veil mineral primer or NYX angel veil primer. This keeps the formula of the fdn from creasing in my smile lines. Wears like a second skin with no mask like feeling. This stuff does transfer a bit, but I use a light dusting of setting powder and a spritz of UD all nighter and that solves that issue. The only thing that I consider a con with this product is the glass jar packaging. I once dropped my makeup kit on a tile floor and the bottle broke, and I had to clean fdn off of all my makeup and tools and replace the train case, because it wasn't going to come off. Wish it came in a tube like the Infallible fdn line. That being said, I will buy this over and over again and will cry if they ever discontinue it.

I have this in the non-water proof formula. I never buy waterproof mascaras, and I mean NEVER! I prefer to keep the lashes I have. This reminds me so much of Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. The brush is similar, the color of the tube also. I'm not a fan of the brush in either of them, I prefer a thinner brush but I like this better than Too Faced. I can't deal with all the fall out from Too Faced and they are so similar why pay 23.00 when you can pay 9.99 and get the same result with less fall out? I do think 9.99 is too expensive for this drugstore mascara and I got it half off (5.00) at Walgreens when I bought L'oreal Telescopic Intense Looking Lengthening Mascara which I love, one of my favorites. I prefer a more natural look for everyday and my all time favorite is still Lancome Definicils. I've used it consistently for over 10 years, still love it. It's so easy on my lashes but for more thickening and lengthening I do like this one. My main complaint is the fat brush. I repurchase if it's on sale. I go through a lot of mascara because i kind of stick to the throw it out after 6-8 weeks rule but I confess I don't do that with my Lancome unless I had a cold or something.

Not a fan - sort of a “see thru” black and the round tip makes it difficult to apply in a steady line.

I like the brush shape but I found this to give similar effects as CG clumpcrusher it was just clumpier. Length and volume were fine but not worth the added effort of getting rid of the clumps. Would not repurchase.
