Took me a while to warm up to this product. Definitely needed to ramp up to using it at full strength and, even now, I can only use it every other day or so. It tends to dry my skin out and make the corners of my mouth peel if I use it too frequently. As I have tret sensitive skin, I already have problems with peeling. All that being said, I think this is an excellent product. Not wonderfully elegant with the grit, but it doesn’t bother me too much - particularly as I use it at night. Has helped give a bit of a glow and improved texture issues. With how expensive Vit C formulas can be and the benefit if not having to worry about oxidation in the tube, this product is a winner to me. I’ve already bought a backup.

This product gave the worst BREAK OUT I've had in years! ... After using The Ordinary's Buffet and Niacinamide for over a month and noticing a nice improvement in my skin condition (way less dry patches and less noticeable pores), I decided to incorporate Vitamin C 23% along with Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% (like The Ordinary recommends on their site) I kept using Buffet+Niacinamide at am and did VitC+Resveratrol at pm. There was definitely tingling and there was definitely a gritty texture, I did not mind this at all, what I did mind was how oily this was. I woke up with my face still covered in 'grease'. I reduced the amount considerably the second time I used it (half a pea size of VitC and 2 drops of Resveratrol. The second day I woke up with two pimples/nodules. I kept using it in very tiny amount since I thought the pimples were stress/diet related. After 3 weeks I am now convinced this product caused my break out. I watched my diet and whiteheads and nodules just kept coming. It will take my skin months to recover and the marks on my skin are going to be way worse than before I started using this. This may have worked for some people but not for me. My face has not look like this since I was in high school. For the record, I have mature oily and dehydrated skin and an occasional pimple was never wierd (usually during stressful periods, like a pimple every 2 months or so) My skin was starting to get better before I introduced this product in my rutine.

Pros: - the most gentle (less irritating) AHA peel I ever tried. Tasmanian pepperberry definitely works wonders on reducing burning acid sensation;- I love thicker than water consistency that doesn't run and I love the color that makes it easy to see where the product applied;- my skin has much more glow next morning;- great for freshly appearing breakouts, it helps them disappear. Cons:- I have sensitive rosacea skin and it seems to me that my skin can't really tolerate any AHA somehow frequently. I can use this peel only once a month, otherwise, I have pinky red cheeks and pinky red forehead for a couple of days (I only leave it for 4-5 minutes). Exfoliating once a month isn't enough, so I also need another exfoliator; - brightening effect doesn't last for more than a day or two which makes using this stuff only once a month somehow pointless;- I do not see any improvement in skin texture, perhaps otherwise. But again, I can't use it often enough to see any;- AHA seriously increasing my skin's sun sensitivity. I'm not sun-sensitive, and I never burn, I wear sunscreen daily, but my face feels (not look) burned when I use AHA. For the price point this product definitely worth trying, but I won't buy it again.

I have very puffy under eyes in the morning and by the end of the day. This product is aces at eliminating that under eye puffiness and smoothing out the under eye area. I definitely look more rested and younger after using this, which I do twice a day. The price is unbelievably reasonable, as are all the Ordinary products, and the amount needed is just a drop for each eye, so I imagine this will last quite a while. Altogether, a great product and one I will continue to purchase. NB. this does nothing for dark circles but I didn't expect it to as none of the ingredients are targeted towards eliminating dark circles. Will have to find something else for that! But the caffeine solution works on the puffiness. If that's your problem, try this!

This product, and the entire ordinary range, are killing it. I've been fighting with acne since I was 11 (am 30 now) and after a month of using this my skin is noticeably different. I can't lie, I still get pimples of course, but a combination of having changed my diet (goodbye forever dairy) and this product has changed it so much: I get pimples way less often, they are smaller, less red, less inflamed, and last less long. I also use their caffeine undereye serum, granactive retinoid 2% in squalene at night, foundation, and high-adherence primer. would highly recommend this product, the retinoid, and the foundation, and the other 2 I'm using are also great.

This is hands-down one of the best treatment I've used so far in my battle with acne. I've been using this every morning after cleaning my face and applying with Salicylic Acid 2% for 2-3 weeks and my skin has never looked better in years! I was getting depressed about my hormonal and cystic acne because I've tried everything (including Retinol) that my dermatologist recommended and nothing worked better than this combo.I've even went through PMS and menstruation with my skin looking almost flawless! I've went outside in full daylight without wearing make-up. Also, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is the ONLY treatment I've tried so far that actually has an effect on reducing sebum.I have a huge problem with that and nothing worked so far in reducing my sebum production on my forehead, which usually looks like you could fry chicken on it, until now. After 2-3 weeks of using this regiment I can honestly say my skin is back to normal and I'm completely in awe as I never expected The Ordinary products to be this good. I'm completely hooked.

These went in the trash. Very little coverage if at all and the wrong colors for my skin even though I followed their recommendations for my skin color based on my MAC equivalent. They were both too light. I chose the ones that were supposed to be closest to MAC NC 20 per Wayne Goss' comments but they were way too light even after oxidation. Glad I tried them out but no great loss.

First I have to say how much I LOVE the Deciem skin care products. Since I started using them a few months ago my skin has improved a ton, in texture, comfort, and yes, it even glows! My hopes were up when I ordered the foundation! Alas, I was sorely disappointed. The whole range was too yellow for my skin. The coverage was ok but not the smoothest I've ever tried. Without a Beauty Blender it was much more uneven than most—leaning toward a mini relief map look.

I picked this up out of curiosity and I am not all that impressed. It's very yellow and in my case, 1.2YG was too light (NC25-30; 220 in Fenty and W4 in L'Oreal True Match) - then it dried down darker and ended up being a really good match. The formula itself is super thin and runny. I applied using my RT sponge and it took some work to blend. The coverage is medium but not buildable, at least not in my case. It didn't blend at all around my nose area an ended up being very patchy and even pilled up along the side creases of my nose. I didn't see any difference in the texture of my skin either. I'm not terribly disappointed since the price point is so low. I do like the simple packaging and the locking pump. That said, I wouldn't repurchase.

Good packaging, great ingredients, and the price can't be beat. But this serum leaves my skin feeling like flypaper, very sticky and tacky. Even using tiny amounts has the same effect. I'll finish the bottle with nighttime use, but it's too gross for the daytime under makeup.

I’m a 37 years old woman who spends most of my days outdoors gardening or doing some sort of yard work, and I work for a US based direct sales company, that uses wonderful ingredients and is cruelty free, and I stumbled upon this product from a magazine. I love what I sell, but for the price of The Ordinary, I figured “why not?”. My skin type is combination sensitive, so I need to be super careful with what I I apply to my face. I use this along side of my usual products, both day and night. Yes, it is tacky feeling, but it does go away once it dries. A little goes a very long way, FYI. The first day of trying The Ordinary my skin felt incredibly soft, almost like velvet, and when I use my day or night creams with it, it seems to give my usual products an extra go-go power. I’ve read the previous reviews, and I’m used to getting flare up pimples or rashes my skin doesn’t agree with a product, but I haven’t had this problem, as of yet. I’ve noticed that some of my fine lines have completely disappeared, and I’m quite excited to try The Ordinary’s foundation, next.

I've been using this for a few days now, and I just can't get past the texture. It's gritty and feels more like a facial scrub than a serum. Plus it's very oily, it makes my face extremely greasy. I've developed a few small pimples on my forehead this week and I'm sure it's from this. Wish I could give it a better rating, but the texture is just too weird for me. Two days after I wrote this review, I now have pimples all over my face, haven't had such a large breakout in many years. I haven't used any other new products, so it has to be this product.

I tried using this product for a week or so. In the past I have used prescription Azelaic Acid products with great success. The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension did not work for me and might have even causes more harm than good. It might be the silicones, or the fact that it's only 10%, I'm not sure. I cannot tolerate any type of fragrance and perhaps there is some in this product.I'm trying another otc acid now to see if it works.

I ordered the Esho Line within 8 hours after its release. I really liked the packaging and the whole idea. Yet- i was a bit scared of Sculpt since it contains a hell lot of irritants. I used it several times now, but only on the top lip. It has a runny texture and tasted a bit minty. At first, it stung alot!! Be warned. I felt the urge to whipe it off. But than i saw a swollen slightly more red lip. I liked the effekt. A couple days later, i did not feel any stinging at all anymore. It seems like my lips got used to the torture. I just enjoy a plumping effekt that lasts for a few hours. I really like this little devilish tube! Also the guava taste and smell is not overwhelming. (I am very disappinted with Drench, cause the taste is terribly sweet and it actualy contains glucose and fructose which you do not want to carry close to yours teeth!!! As far as i have seen it, my sculpt version does not contain these ingredients.)

For reference, I have very dry, acne-prone and eczema-prone skin. I use this product on my really bad pimples, the ones that are painful and large and lurk beneath the skin for ages before they finally decide to come to a head. This product doesn't make under-the-skin pimples disappear immediately: rather it brings them up into a head, and then makes the raised pimples go away much faster than they would on their own. Already-raised pimples are nixed very quickly. I do not use this on small-scale acne because it dries my skin out to the point of making the skin surrounding the pimple very dry and flaky. When I have a particularly bad breakout, I do not use foundation (1) because I am trying to treat the acne, but more importantly (2) because the flaky patches look dreadful with base product over them. This product is the most effective one I've tried, so I'm happy to put up with flakiness if it means that my pimples go away faster. The product is clear with no smell, and I do not experience any stinging when I apply it. I only need a tiny bit on each pimple, so it will last a long time.Overall I'm very happy with this product. Its side effects aren't the best, but it works.
