I've been using it everyday on my bare skin before I apply my moisturizer. I use a good fair amount on my skin because in theory it could reduce my overall sebum production and also help my make up to stay longer. Sadly, I haven't noticed any effect on my skin so I am disappointed. Another issue I have with the product is that its not compatible with all my skincare products. The good points about this product is that it doesn't have a scent, easily absorbed into the skin, didn't break me out in spots, I like the packaging- the pipette is useful and lastly the price is very good. It has a low overall rating purely based on the fact that it didn't do anything for me -I expected plump looking looking skin after application.

*I use this product ONCE a week only. So far, I have noticed fantastic results. My skin feels more youthful and glowy, and it also helps slightly with my under eye creases/bags. I do layer a moisturizer on top of it at night, as it helps to "lock in" the serum. Can't beat the price and I will be purchasing again!

I bought this based on the price. I’ve been using lactic acid forever. By far my favorite is from DHC. I thought I’d give this line a try. Don’t even bother. Smells bad and second did not do a single thing. Usually lactic acid makes your skin glow especially the next morning. 5% or 10% this is a no go for me.

Smelled horrible. Broke me out. Not worth it. Will not repurchase.

I've enjoyed The Ordinary's Advanced Retinoid 2% Emulsion for quite some time now. When I saw that they were coming out with this new Granactiv 5% Retinoid in Squalane, I was intrigued as I was hoping to up the strength of my nightly retinoid anyway. I have to say, I adore this formulation even more than the emulsion!! I have seen terrific results using this nightly for a few months and I look forward to seeing improved results using it long term. This treatment utilizes a new formulation of the retinoid (Granactiv) suspended in the light, plant derived, deep penetrating facial oil, Squalane. I don't need to use a night time moisturizer with this product. The Squalane is just beautiful and sinks into my skin after about an hour or so. I don't need to use a ton of this product to cover my face...in fact, when I overdo it, my face stays oily and it never really fully absorbs which can be messy for pillow cases and husbands and what not. lol! When applied sparingly, the oil sinks in with a velvet finish. The retinoid is highly effective at clarifying the skin, reducing the appearance of pores, plumping the skin, smoothing fine lines and even controlling my mild, hormonal acne. Together, the squalane and granactiv retinoid complement one another just perfectly. I have combo/dry leaning skin so this is kismet for me. Oily skinned folk might not like the feel of this one but the results, for me, make this a complete winner in my book. I can't sing the praises of this one enough. HIGHLY recommend!

This is a great product for my slightly aging, combo leaving to dry skin! I prefer the Buffet but this is a great supplement to that and when Buffet is out of my budget, grabbing this is helpful and more affordable. The texture of this is thicker than Buffet and I find you can use less of it to cover my entire face. It definitely plumps up the skin and leaves skin hydrated from the Hyaluronic Acid. Wrinkles and fine lines are smoothed out and the skin appears to glow. It goes on tacky and after about a half an hour, is completely absorbed into the skin. It doesn't pill for me as long as time is allowed for proper absorption of the product before applying other product or make up. Matrixyl is a peptide that works long term to improve collagen production. I have seen these results first hand using the serum daily for over 3-4 months. Upon first application, I saw and felt firmer, more plumped skin. The Buffet is my HG when it comes to these Ordinary serums for anti-aging as it also helps with my discoloration. The Matrixyl doesn't really even out my skin tone like Buffet does but the other benefits make this serum very worthwhile in my opinion.

I've been looking for something like this forever! I love this for spot treating acne as well as for eliminating ingrown hairs and smoothing calluses on my feet.

Have had mild rosacea since I cld remember. Bought it via Hush app after reading reviews here and over at SkincareAddiction thread in Reddit. As soon as the product arrived, I eagerly dabbed it into my cheeks, nose, and chin. A few hours later, the redness actually went away. I would say about 80 percent gone. So grateful I found this info from you all! Yes it stings or burns a bit but it goes away after a few minutes. A must for those who struggle with mild rosacea!

I'm already well aware of rose hip oil as I used it in the past. .....purchasing from health food store. This particular formula though is pretty nice. Lighter than the others I used in the past. It sinks in fairly quickly without leaving a nasty residue. This has to be the most affordable rose hip oil I ever purchased. Definitely worth a back up purchase.

This is the best product I have used for my skin for visibly younger skin. The trick is to use only 2 drops on damp face and neck. If I use too much, I do find it can be congesting so I sometimes skip using for am/pm. I just finished an entire bottle and plan to get more!

I'm glad I stumbled across this product on ASOS since I've always wanted a natural heat protectant. This can be used in your hair in addition to your skin. I will repurchase.

First let me start by saying that The Ordinary's Salicylic Acid 2 % Solution now comes in a one ounce bottle, not the .5 ounce, so this makes it a better deal. If you are used to using salicylic acid to exfoliate or assist with blemishes, salicylic acid is great exfoliant to help clear pores. The one thing that is disappointing with this product is that they have buffered the salicylic acid with witch hazel. In higher amounts witch hazel can be a skin irritant. This is because of the process used to distill the witch hazel leaf extract uses alcohol, which can cause skin irritation. This would be better if this contained something else to buffer the salicylic acid. My more detailed review can be seen here:

This is amazing stuff and for $6 I am impressed. I suffer from adult acne. I bought this at the Abnormal Beauty Company and haven’t looked back since. My skin cleared in two days using this serum with a Retinoid. All that’s left are some scars, which I will report back on. My regime with 15min between each step:AM: Vitamin C with hyaluronic acid, Cosrx snail mucin, moisturiser. PM: Niacinamide 10%, Granactive Retinoid 2%, Cosrx snail mucin, moisturiser.

If you have acne prone skin stay awaaaaay from this product!! I always introduce 1 new skincare product at a time so I know what's the problem/ how it works. My skin had cleared up since my breakout, but I used this for a week and now I've broke out again !! It introduces whiteheads and cysts back again :(
